//------------------------------// // IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! // Story: Return of The Inferno // by Blue Blaze {COMET} //------------------------------// As you could probably see by reading the description or the current state of this story, I have set “Return of the Inferno” to “On Hiatus”. Why? Well, I have a few reasons: (tl;dr is at the bottom of the “chapter”) Reason #1: Not enough attention One reason that I’m setting this story as “On Hiatus” is that this story is not getting enough attention; from my viewers, from others and from me. Seriously, even though I’m trying to push out at least 4000 words a chapter, I’ve only gotten a measly 400 views (well, it was that way when I last checked it, which was about 5 minutes before I wrote this “Chapter”), which is nothing compared to other authors who only post underneath 400 words on their first chapter, but get over 1000 views and over 10 comments (that’s a large amount of comments in my opinion). I’m not jealous, but instead frustrated at the fact that I’m trying to make my very best quality writing for all viewers to see, but I only get about 200 views per chapter! And that’s including the fact that I have in the past tried to promote my story by posting it on EQD’s ponychat and various other MLP fanchats. So, until I get more views, I won’t be paying much attention to this story anymore. Reason #2: Not enough reviews Seriously guys? You give me a 2 star rating, and yet still skip the process of telling me why you reviewed my story so badly? I want to improve. I want to improve, develop and advance my skills as a story writer. But I can’t achieve this until you people tell me what I’m doing wrong! Out of all the view’s I’ve gotten so far (which I’ve said before, I haven’t gotten so many) it doesn’t compare to the amount of views that Fimfiction has tracked so far! The ratio between the amount of reviews and the amount of normal views is so large that I won’t even bother to do the calculations necessary to actually tell you what that number is. It’s not worth it to do so. But I digress. Not enough reviews, not enough comments explaining my reviews, end of story. Reason #3: Time to move on This story was originally supposed to be a SMALL project. Instead of being SMALL, I turned it into a gigantic project that took several months of time and planning to write. Obviously, this story’s gotten wayyyyyyyyyy to mid for it’s shoulders, so I’m deciding to move on and start writing the project that I’ve been waiting about half a month now to write: Chronicles of an Unknown World. Like I’ve said, this project became too big with too little views and reviews, so I’m just gonna shut it down now to same myself the time and trouble later. So yeah. Those are my reasons for putting this story on hiatus. Doesn’t mean that I’m never gonna add another chapter to it ever again, it just means that I will not even think about it for a long, LONG time. If you really want me to continue, go check out my new fanfic: Chronicles of an Unknown World. That story’s basically a spiritual sequel to “Return of the Inferno”. But, if you choose not to follow me and decide to forget me altogether, well then, it’s your loss. Comet, Out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tl;dr: This story doesn’t get enough attention, reviews and views for me to me to write it anymore. I also want to move on.
