Chapter 4 (Just another pony)
You open your eyes slowly as to not get blinded by the sun coming in from the window. You thought your ear rape alarm clock was bad now you wish for it; the window in your room has the sun shine right into your face right on to your eyes. Your eyes adjust to the bright room and you see an owl on a bookshelf close to the window. You look at the owl for a few minutes.
You decide to take a shot at your people skills… owl skills “hey there buddy…what’s up?”
“who?” the owl replies
You figure it wants to know your name so you say it.
“who?”
You again say your name in a louder voice still trying to be polite.
“who?”
You stare at the owl for a few minutes “You don’t talk do you?”
The owl replies once again “who?”
You realize how stupid you must look for trying to talk to an owl good thing no one saw that…
“Are you trying to talk to the owl?”
Dang so close, you turn to Spike voice, you shrug.
Spike laughs “I made the same mistake when he first showed up.”
You smile at that remark, “where’s Twilight?” Spike nods his head down the stairs “she’s writing a letter to the Princess.”
You get up from the bed and head down the stairs Spike calls back from your room “Oh no that’s fine I'll just make your bed…again.” You stop for a second but think to yourself naw he’s got this.
You walk to where Twilight is working; she’s standing at a podium using her magic to write. She looks towards you as you enter the room “Hey you're up! Rarity came by yesterday and brought you a coat and new pants.”
You look over to a human sized coat and jean like material pants hanging on a chair next to Twilight.
You walk over to the clothes and try on the coat, not bad you think to yourself, you’re surprised how well it fits. You look towards Twilight “What are you doing?”
Twilight continues to write “I’m writing a letter to the Princess on how your first day was.”
She looks back at you “Yesterday was kind of like a test to see how well ponies would accept having a human around.” “You would say it went well right?”
You nod
“Great now you need to write what you think.” She floats a piece of paper over to you and a quill.
You know you were supposed to write something for the Princess you just didn’t know that was today.
You sit down in a nearby chair next to a table and start writing; Twilight brings you a plate with some eggs and a piece of pie “Spike said you didn’t eat yet so here you go” You thank her, you stare at the pie before eating yep there better not be any such thing as diabetes. After you’re what you guess was breakfast you start your letter.
(Hours latter)
For once you're happy with some of the pointless classes you were forced to take back on Earth, that creative writing class really helped, you look over some of the things you wrote.... close enough.
You fold the letter and leave it on the table.
You’re getting ready to go find Twilight when you hear a familiar tomboyish voice “Hay Twilight do you have the new Daring… Hey what are you still doing here?”
It’s the light blue pegasus that you met when you first arrived you wave your hand at her
The pegasus continues talking “I thought you were going to see Twilight to get you back home?”
You’re about to try and explain what happen but Twilight comes back into the room
“Hi rainbow.”
Rainbow dash looks at Twilight and points to you “What’s this guy still doing here?”
Twilight looks at you then back to her “That’s a long story Rainbow i'll have to tell you another time, but what brings you bye.”
The tomboyish voice changes into a more cracked voice as she rubs the back of her head with her hoof “Oh well umm I wanted to know if you got the new book in yet.”
Twilight happy trots towards one of the bookshelf “Ya I have it right her dash”
Twilight floats a book over to rainbow, she tucks it under her wing and then looks to you “Hey buddy keep your mouth shut about this I don’t need some new guy wrecking my reputation got it?”
You laugh at her tone she’s trying to be intimidating but the voice cracks don’t sound too threatening.
“Oh you want to go tough guy?” her tone is more raised and her wings fly open dropping the book on the ground.
This is the second time you have met her and the second time she wants to fight, you tell yourself she don’t know who she’s messing with you have played enough mortal combat and seen enough chuck Norris roundhouse kicks to know how to fight.
But you don’t get to prove your self Twilight raises her voice “Stop! Rainbow you know to be nice to other ponies” Rainbow looks at the ground Twilight then turns her face to you “And how would you feel if the Princess finds out you fought somepony on your second day of being here? “ You look at rainbow and apologize she does the same,
“Hey we may have got off on the wrong hoof, we'll meet up sometime and start right, ok?”
You nod
Twilight says goodbye to Rainbow and you watch her leave.
As the door closes you think to yourself ya I can take her.
