Chapter 2: To the Left!

You chose to go left. You start running as fast as your legs could carry you, through the trees of which you were positive was the Everfree forest.

This got you thinking, "How did I get in Equestria? I fell asleep on the couch, and I woke up in a forest" You were confused, this only happened in fan fictions, not in real life, Equestria is supposed to be made-up fiction.

There was a boulder in the way of the road, which had heavy growth of weeds and moss on it. It stood about 10 feet tall, and looked nearly impossible to climb, but you had to do it to avoid those hungry teeth of the rapidly approaching manticore.
You grab one of the weeds, and pull yourself up, then the next weed. You climb quicker just before the manticore bites your feet. You reach the top and jump down, and tumbling to recover from the shock of the fall. You get up and laugh, "Try and get me now" you exclaim, which was short lived as you see the manticore fly over the boulder with its wings. You curse yourself, then continue running along the path.

As you ran, the trees were slowly getting thicker. You were running deeper into the forest. The trees were to close together to
squeeze through. 

Your sides felt like they were on fire from running so long and your legs were like jelly. The path ended, with no way else to go.

You turn around, to see the manticore slowly walking towards you, while licking its lips.
