The Ghoul of Chaos

by Timemaster

A Ghoul's choice...

... may bring the end.

My body, albeit weak, smiles.

"I have not lost." I say, my smile increasing.

I stand up straight, my body starting to morph.

"I have won." I say, my entire soul seeming to glow.

The god of chaos and mother, looking at me, stare in confusion.

"I have figured out what I am, and Doom shall not have me."

A loud shout is heard,"WHAT DID YOU CALL-"

"I know I am you Doom. I am your true self. Come to me, my mind, for we have a foe to destroy."

A loud laughter is heard.

"You think you can beat every Doom in the multi-verse by yourself?"

I smile, my grin seeming to come off my face,"No, for I am the true Doom. You will all..."

My body becomes the shape of a deformed human with chains around the body,"Make. Me. Whole."

I open my hand, which now had a golden gauntlet, and screamed,"COME TO ME, BECOME ONE WITH ME, AND MAKE ME WHOLE!'

Doom, smiling, says,"I have found our new victor." and then disintegrated into dust, wrapping around me.

My body ignited, seeming to burn all of space/time around it.

A morbid *Whirr* could be heard throughout the room, which has been changed into a large white room.

My body, disintegrated and gone, leaves behind a pile of bones and a large red cloak.

"What just-" Mother tried to say, until the piles of bones moved.

The bones, arranging themselves into a full human shape, are wrapped around by the large red cloak.

My new body, looking like a red version of Death, stepped out.

"Bow to me, for Doom is here." I say, my voice seeming to radiate over the whole area.

The gods, mother included, stepped out of their cover, and bow down to me.

I stare downwards at the bowl of time, seeing the point of when I was thrown into this world in the first place.

I was never meant to be in this world. I was meant for something much worse.

I aim my new golden gauntlet at my past self, concentrating all of my soul into this shot.

*ZApIZ*

The pumpkin head my my past self burst, splattering in all directions. My armor melted, creating an odd puddle of smelted metal.

I smile a grin of pure madness, for I have done the impossible.

I have killed myself without repercussions.

With my new golden gauntlet on my hand, I disappear into a new dimension, knowing that Doom's quest will never end...

[End~ Or maybe a to be continued, for the quest is still going on...

Summary of all of this jazz: Doom was looking for the last piece of him, and our protagonist was the final piece. With the absorption of the final piece, our protagonist had to fight every other Doom mentally, which was not very hard for he was the true Doom, and the new Doom decided to kill his past self.

With the past self dead, none of this story ever happened, but the soul remains inside of Doom due to timey-wimey stuff.

Yes, instead of ending this like a true author, I just slapped something together, but I hope you guys enjoyed this small ride.
