The air is full of chaos, intoxicating to the core...
Discord looks upon the ponies, who have returned again to defeat him, seemingly having all of their color.
Grinning, he plans to kill one of them, for it would be far easier to destroy their hearts that way.
"You think I am stupid enough to fall for this Twilight Sparkle?" Discord says, pointing his finger at Twilight, picking her up from the ground.
He is about to close his palm, which would crush her to bone, but suddenly something happens.
He is hit in the back by a spear from a royal guard, causing him to let go of Twilight.
Small trickles of blood flowing down his serpent-like body, he snaps his fingers...
Turning the royal guard into a taco.
Discord reaches down, grabs the royal guard taco, and eats it.
Distracted by the food in his hands, he barely hears the elements charge up.
Freaked out by the sudden charge of harmonic magic, Discord expels all of him magic into the sky, weakening him severely.
"With my friends, anything is possible!" said Twilight Sparkle to Discord, still frozen with taco in hand.
A large rainbow, clashing with the colorless sky Discord created, erupts from the 6 ponies, crashes into Discord.
Unable to control any of his chaos anymore, it all expels itself into alternate realms, seeking to cause havoc.
Discord, even though he is the god of chaos, is not the only one in the vast multi-verse, for he shares his power among his fellow gods of chaos.
But sometimes, this causes something horrible.
God Energy, the most powerful of energies, needs a tube from one universe to the next to escape, but since Discord blew ALL of his remaining chaos energy into the sky, a hole consisting of the sky must be created to allow the energy to pass.
The hole, unable to stay in the sky, falls to the ground, revealing a mirror reality.
One that would give most ponies heart attacks.
The portal, which is falling slowly to the flat part of the Everfree forest, is an undead reflection realm.
This world has been through more dark chaos than any other, and Discord (a light chaos being) had inadvertently opened the portal to it.
Ponies from all over Ponyville pay almost no attention to the hole, for it just seems like a giant mirror crashing into the Everfree.
Some pegasi are sent to the hole, just as somepony exits from it...
2 years, 123 days since the apocalypse...
My whole world was beautiful, ponies playing in the sunlight and dancing in the moonlight, but nothing was ever what it seemed.
I was an inventor, pre-destined for greatness by an ancient tome made by Queen Celesita before her downfall, and I had a successful life.
I had a family with two adorable foals, smart and kind as their deceased mother, and many friends.
We were working on a cure for the odd flower that seemed to kill any pony who touched it, called the Death Flower, and we soon got an antidote...
but it reacted much differently than we thought.
The subject, who was infected with the Death Flower Virus, convulsed, spewing blood everywhere, contaminating ponies around him.
Scared out their wits, the ponies that were contaminated tried to run out of the building, but as soon as they did, they convulsed themselves.
The rest of us, frozen in shock, watch as the subject's body started to move.
We sighed, for it worked...
or so we thought.
The subject, albeit moving, had no pulse.
He was a moving corpse.
The dead pony, seeming to not remember anything about his previous life, jumped on one of our staff.
and ate him.
"RUN!" one of the other staff said, running off to exit the building.
An undead pony, a previous doctor who ran outside before, jumped on the running staff, devouring him.
I ran into my office, for it was the most secure of them all.
It was a nuclear study room, so I had requested a full-proof room from Queen Twilight.
My office, full of food and gadgets, had an item that allowed me to contact the army in case of someone breaking in.
I, in all of my stupidity, pressed the emergency button.
Only afterwards remembering that the button was for AFTER a break in...
meaning the guards had no weapons...
Screams, powerful enough to break glass, are heard throughout all of Equestria...
...
It has been a full year after the apocalypse.
I could not find a cure, but I found something better...
I learned that this infection causes immortality. If I edit it a little, just a little, I could gain just what I always wanted.
Immortality.
A vial, filled with a black liquid, sits on my desk. Tempting me.
This vial may hold immortality or instant death, but this is the only way out...
I grab the vial, heavy with power, and put a syringe into it.
Filling the syringe, I take it out.
I put the vial back onto the desk, for I only need the full syringe now.
I put the syringe just above my own throat... and inject it into my blood.
"AGHHHH!~" The pain is unbearable, but I can still feel pain.
My body, dropping to the floor, feels as if it was empty.
Hunger is pulsing throughout my soul, wishing to devour all things...
I am undead, but much different than the rest.
I can move and control myself...
I...
I have finally done it!
"I am immortal!" I scream in my raspy, drying voice.
I start laughing, watching as my body starts to convulse to fit the virus... no, the SALVATION.
I continue to laugh, for happiness is the only feeling I know.
Emptyness is the only thing I feel, but happiness is wrapping around my soul.
"I am the next step of evolution!" I scream.
...
A year later...
I have finally found another pony to eat, for their numbers seem to be dwindling.
"Stop!" She screams loud enough to shatter my undead ear-drums.
I blink, questioning why this mortal was asking for me to stop them from getting immortality.
"I am your queen! Why are you doing this..." she looks at me.
"It can't be you..." her eyes start watering.
"My queen... it is me." I say, surprising her.
"How can you talk!?" She nearly screams.
"Do you not understand? I am the next step of evolution. I am the FINAL step..." I say smiling.
"Get away from me!" she says, hitting me with her magic.
It does nothing.
"Why do you hate me so?" I ask my ex-queen.
She looks at me with hatred.
It stops me.
My final piece of humanity breaks as she utters these words,"You are not the same pony I befriended Sapph-"
I start to cry with green tears,"I am not Sapphire! I am better! I am much,much better!.."
I look at her,"I thought at least you would understand..." I bare my teeth,"But I guess not."
Jumping at her, wanting to rip her flesh from bone, I come in contact with something else.
A large boulder, magically controlled by Twi, smacks me.
I am unhurt, but my body flies into the sky...
Hitting something.
All I could see was the Everfree from before...
'Have I died?' I ask myself, falling towards the Everfree.
Using flesh from my other meals, I grow wings.
being a unicorn by heart, I just drift downwards into the Everfree, seeing something that made me smile more than anything.
Ponies.
Me and my pegasus squad called 'Yellow Streak and crew', me being Yellow Streak of course, fly towards the falling mirror thing, hoping it will not crush any woodland creatures below.
The closer we got to the mirror, the odder it looked.
The Everfree in the mirror seemed to be burned down and dark, while it was day and blooming.
Odd as this was, we all know it must be a chaotic mirror reflecting something stupid or whatnot.
I am no scientist, so I know nothing of chaotic magic.
Anyway, we start getting nearer to the mirror, playing around a bit.
Rainbow Dash, a pony who joined us for no real reason, hit me too hard.
making me plummet from the sky.
*Bump*
I hit somepony in the sky, but something was off about the pony.
Almost blacking out, I see the pony grab my hoof.
"Thanks, I thought I was gonn-"
I look at the pony...
Its wings were corroded, looking as if they were just melted together. Its body was full of holes, but not like a changeling.
These holes had guts and other things hanging from them.
"A new meal..." It says.
"Wha- AHHHH~!" My tough skin, fifteen years of training for stronger muscles, were shredded in mouth.
Blood.
Blood everywhere...
...
Hunger.
Food Everywhere....
"A new meal.." I say, my mouth watering in hunger.
This filly was a strong one, trying to pull away from me, but my hunger made me stronger than her.
I bit into her, removing her forehoof, causing her to fall from me.
She tasted horrible, so I drop her.
'If there is a filly just flying through the sky...'
I look up.
'There must be a lot of security in this country...'
I see something that catches my eye.
'Five! Five pegasus ponies!
i smile my aging, decomposing smile.
"Help!" I scream, hoping to get their attention.
One of them looks down, but I duck myself into a tree canopy, showing only my extremely healthy leg.
"Were coming!" A loud voice said,"Or my name isn't Rainbow Dash!"
'Rainbow... Dash?'
Her name, very close to my own, makes me uncomfortable.
When I was alive, I was Dr. Blitz.
'Doctor Rainbow Blitz, the colorful doctor for good' is what my ex-queen Twilight would say to me.
Nearly losing myself in my thoughts, i jump up.
"I am Doctor Rainbow Blitz, who are you?" I say through the canopy, hoping she would respond before reaching my canopy.
I hear a loud rustle,"I am Rainbow Dash, the quickest flier in all of E..q..-" she looks at my body, which is a rotting male duplicate of hers, but with a horn instead of wings.
"Oh my princess, what happened to you!" she says, trying to grasp my rotting hoof.
"I have gained immortality... Rainbow." I say to her.
"You.. have no pulse." she says, looking a bit pale when she sees my face.
I am not ugly, for my body looks almost the same as before I died (except for the one gash that has an intestine hanging out), but I knew why she looked pale.
I have blood on my face.
"I swear, I will not bite." I say, smiling... my bloody teeth showing.
She nearly turns white, but before that she stated,"What are you?!"
I look at her, my eyes filled with joy,"I am the messenger from my world, and is nice to meet my other self."
She looks at me quizzically,"You are an alien?!"
"I am the next step in evolution. Equestria was to evil in my world, so I destroyed it." I lied to bother her and myself.
She looks at me blankly.
"..." She bucks me, harder than anypony on my world could, knocking my dead body out.
...
I 'wake' up in a chair, many different tubes sticking out of my body.
"Well hello." a peaceful voice said to me.
"Hey." I say, opening my eyes...
My mouth gaps open at what I see.
"Queen Celestia! I thought you died a thousand years ago!" I state, my zombie mouth cramping out of all the new pressure.
"Queen Celesta? Dead? I am Princess Celestia, my little pony." She says calmly to me.
She looks at me straight in the eyes,"Where is Yellow Streak?" she says in her calm voice.
'Holy crap! Celestia is in front of me! She is using her amazing voice!' I completely pay no attention.
She stares at me, using a louder tone of voice,"Where is Yellow Streak?"
I blink,"Who?"
She looks at me again,"A yellow pegasus mare..."
I smile.
"You mean my meal?" I say, wanting to slap myself.
"..." She stares at me, confused at what I just said.
"You see, I am hungry, so I would like a piece of your immortal body."
She opens her eyes.
"I want to be the only immortal one in this new world, but I think I made a new one of US again." I say, not caring about the things that may happen.
"You mean..." Celestia says, looking at me like I was mad.
"Yes, Yellow Streak is now undead, like myself!" I start laughing.
"Now, before I am executed, where is Queen Twilight?" I say to Princess Celestia.
"Twilight? Queen? Twilight is my disciple!" Celestia yells at me.
"Really now? This will be interesting..."
I look at her, my neck cramping up,"I might have just caused a zombie apocalypse on your entire planet, but you are more concerned about questioning me?"
She glares at me, so intensely that I nearly ate myself.
"Come closer, I will tell you how to cure this apocalypse." I say in my most persuading tone.
She gets close enough to my mouth for me to whisper to her,"Take some zombie blood and create an antidote."
I did not bite her, for I want to live of course.
"I tried, but did not create it in time. I injected myself with an unfinished antidote and it caused me to become a smart zombie." I lie.
"Yellow Streak is a dumb zombie, so she will not be able to talk like I do." I say.
"I will try, but I will not trust you any more than this." She states, leaving the room.
'I am going to enjoy this evolution...'
In the royal guard plan room, east underground tower...
"My little army, we have a possible epicdemic on the loose." I state, my gorgeous hair flowing everywhere.
The guards look at me unquestioningly,"There is an infection, capable of causing the dead to rise, in the Everfree forest, and I need you to stop her."
"Her?" Shining Armor asked.
I sigh,"Yellow Streak, leader of 'Yellow Streak and crew' has been bitten by Dr. Rainbow Blitz, which rainbow Dash told me was her alternate self."
I look at the guards, their faces looking odd,"Dr. Blitz is an undead pony, who seems to be saying that he is the evolution. We will not kill him for we need him for our tests."
I look at my guards, some of them showing a bit of fear,"If any of you are bitten, quickly kill yourself, for you will lose your mind and kill everyone."
All of my guards look at if they would pee themselves.
"Princess," Shining says,"are you sure this can be handled by our little armed troops?"
I blink.
'Weapons?'
"No, I think you need a spear or two. This is our only chance at stopping this infect-" I am interrupted when someone busts through the door.
"Princess!" The mare shouted,"Something is wrong with all of the Everfree!"
"What is it!" I shout, for this could ruin us.
"There is a parade of ponies about to go through it!"
'Oh shit.'
"Stop them!"
"I am sorry Princess, but all of the pegasus guards are at their homes, none of them are here!"
My smile falls to a frown of seriousness.
"Shining Armor, grab the Mag. 12s" I say.
"The Magical 12 bullet shooters? is it that serious!" he says.
"Yes. Go eliminate any infected ponies, no matter how nice they were previously..." I say, walking out of this room.
"Even if they are friends of your sister."
I leave the chamber full of war ponies, hoping to get to my room faster.
...
Reaching my room, I take my quill and write the most important document of all time.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
You and your friends are to come to my castle immediately, do not stop for anything. I cannot send a carriage, so run and teleport all of your friends here. My magic is too weak to do anything as of right now, so please hurry. This is a matter of national security.

I send the message, hoping she would arrive here quickly.
...
"Princess!" A young voice said.
"Twilight!" I say, getting off my throne.
The other elements and Twilight enter the room,high tension in the air.
"what hap-"
"Come with me."
They follow me, hoping to know what is going on.
I lead them to the science part of the castle, where we experiment on animals secretly, and open a door.
"Well, it is about time!" he shouts, much to my dismay.
"Why did it take so long?" i say through my dislocated jaw.
"I had to sing so much, my jaw got dislocated!" I laugh.
Celestia's horn lights up, fixing my jaw,"Blitz, who are you?"
"I am Dr. Rainbow Blitz, head nuclear scientist to Queen Twilight Sparkle and father of two zombie children, and you people are...?" I say, a little cranky because I haven't eaten in a while.
The ponies, especially Rainbow Dash look at me oddly.
"Yes, yes, I know I am dead, but that doesn't mean I cannot have fun!" I say, laughing so hard I dislocate my jaw again.
"help?" I say meekly to Celestia.
*Crackle*
"I am Princess Celestia, co-leader of this land, and I am going to vanquish your entire race."
I chortle at that,"You think your Mag 12s will stop US? We had Mag 40s but we couldn't even stop the infection..."
I look down.
"I waited an entire year, listening to army radio calls, and only heard distress signals dying out. No one, not even the griffons, survived." I look at them.
"That is right, I forgot to mention, any being with more body mass than 2 timber wolves can be infected, anything else just convulses and dies forever."
They all stare at me, hatred in their eyes,"What are you!?" a familiar voice said.
My anger grows,"You DARE speak to me Queen Twilight! I am going to tear you li-"
"Queen Twilight? I am Twilight Sparkle, element of magic!"
I halt.
'The elements? They still exist in this world?'
"Introduce yourselves element bearers." Celestia calmly says.
My duplicate, Rainbow Dash, steps up,"I am the element of loyalty, and I am nothing like you, I am Rainbow Dash." she says meanly.
A yellow mare, seeming to be madder than all hell, says,"You DARE try to end our world? I am the element of kindness, but you seem to not understand what it means!"
"I am kind, for I am just spreading the next evo-"
"Next evolution!?" Q- I mean Twilight said,"You are a virus! A plague of death to our world, but you still call yourself the next step? You are killing us all!"
"Ah, Twilight Sparkle. In my world, I was about to eat you, but a large mirror object got in the way... maybe my kind can kill you soon, so I do not have to." I say, evilly looking at her.
"Ugh!" a white one steps up,"Why do you reek of such vile stench? Have you never bathed?"
Only one person could be this scoffy, but still hang with non-scoffy people.
"Rarity, nice to see you again. Last time I saw Princess Rarity, I ate your gorgeous face. care to get closer to my decomposing face?"
I could feel her fear as she steps away quickly.
"You do not threaten my little ponies!" Celestia said.
"What are you going to do? Kill me? I am sorry, but I am already dead." I say, a smile on my face.
"Oh you are so not going to get one of my parties!" is that...
"Pinkie Pie?! I thought you committed suicide many years ago!" I say, my stupidity beyond all levels.
"Suicide....?" Pinkie said, backing into the corner with Rarity,"I would never..."
"You were living on a fucking rock farm! Your parents, breaking open the rocks, casually crushed them, creating Rock Candy for the black market!" I say, angry at the Pie family. They caused me a great deal of pain in creating a Rock Candy addiction cure.
"What? My family made gems with rocks...."
I blink.
"This world is so pure compared to mine..." I start to tear up with my green tears.
"Why have I just done!? I ended my world because it was evil, but this one seems so pure!" I cry.
The ponies stare at me with a mixed hate/sympathy.
I love lying.
No world can be truly pure, they are all destined to die anyway.
"I will tell you the cure, but you will have to make it just how I say."I say in my most persuasive crying voice. I remember how to be a crying 3 year old.
I tell them all of the ingredients, Twilight marking them all down into a book.
"You have to make it airborne, layer it over a town and it will become safe." LIES!
"I thank you, even though you caused this." Celestia says.
Rainbow Dash comes up to me,"Since the princess herself thanked you, you receive my thanks." she.. thanked?
"You just cannot say a thank you?" I say.
"Ugh... thank you.." she said, mumbling.
"Good enough."
They all retreat out of my room.
I hear a machine whir to life...
Everfree Forest...
Many soldiers, old and young, are scoping the area.
Parade streamers, and other parade things, litter the ground. Each one seeming to have been broken, ripped, or has blood on them.
Pieces of bodies, differently colored, cover a vast amount of land, engulfing the area with a large, ghoulish smell.
"Celestia..." A soldier, ripened with age, says at the body before his hooves.
A zebra, young and with no ailments, is lying on the floor.
He tips his guard hat at the body, but something grabs him.
*Chom-ploosh*
His throat, trickling blood like a broken dam, is in the mouth of the zebra.
The zebra, completely devouring the body, hears a loud *Pop*.
"My god..." a soldier, armed with a Mag 12, says after blowing the head of the zebra.
"What is wrong with this place?"
"Raaaugggh" echos throughout the land, dispersing fear among all of the soldiers.
A few more soldiers join the side of the first, each armed with Mag 12s.
"Boss, what is going on?" a soldier says to Shining Armor,"I did not think this infection spread this fast!"
"I do not know soldier, but I do know that we need to-" Shining Armor tries to say, but is cut off by a cross-eyed zombie biting his flank,"Ahh~!" Shining yelled, shooting the mare's head off.
Looking at his teammates, he says,"... Do it."
All of them, aiming their Mags at Shining Armor, Bow their heads before they shot.
*Bamfg*
A few days later, Canterlot court...
Princess Celestia watches as the batch of Antidote is being loaded onto a large super-carrier, invented by Soarin Skies, and sent out to the top of Canterlot.
Inside the court, you cannot see much outside the castle, so Celestia did not see first hoof what happenee.
But I did. I am Falling Skies, brother of Soarin Skies, and I am the flyer of the super carrier.
Depositing this above the Canterlot streets was supposed to have only cleansed the town of any secret infected...
Instead, many citizens felt nothing.
It seemed like nothing had happened, so I order my crew to fly back, without me, to alert the princesses on the potential nothingness of the airborne antidote.
A few hours of waiting for the rest of my crew to return, I hear a loud scream.
A mare, aging beautifully, was on her knees, screaming her lungs out.
I ask her,"What is wrong miss?"
She seems to black-out, so I take her atop my back and fly her to the hospital.
…
A day passes, many more people are sent to hospitals, but it only seems to be a bad cold causing the pain.
Some people had pain so bad, they wanted to be sent to their respective cities to ease there pain.
Smiling, I walk down the road, hearing nothing but peace and qui-
"Oh Shit!" a deep voiced stallion roared.
"What happ-" I was saying, while running towards the stallion, but what I saw destroyed my world.
The mare I had saved from the pain she felt was eating the stallion, his blood trickling down her neck.
Knowing what this meant, I quickly flew to the castle, hoping the guard could save us...
'Wasn't there some sick ponies in the guard?'
I stop in mid-air.
My family is more important than my job, so I fly away... hoping to save my family.
I was released from the odd lab a few days ago for good behavior.
Just kidding, I escaped after biting a chunk out of the guard next to me.
Walking outside, I see that my plan had worked.
Zombie ponies, be it guard or not, were everywhere throughout Canterlot.
I see something that thrills me to the core;
Princess Celestia, who is already an immortal o she cannot be infected, was escaping on her OWN wings.
"I have made the princess herself escape! Who will stop me no-"
A magic jolt, more.powerul than any normal dolts spell, slams my head into the ground.
"You killed all of my friends!" a familiar voice says.
I stare at Twilight, after lifting my head of course, and say one thing,"Behind you."
I smile in glee as my queen is torn to shreds in front of me...
I guess, in the end, ponies can not destroy US.
This is the end of this chapter, to sum everything up.
Ponies+ zombies = near extinction.
Yes, like most zombie movies, some small pony utopias are created, so ponykind does still have a chance at life, but you guys tell me if you:
