  I just kept looking up at the ceiling wondering what my next move was gonna be. I mean being in a new world full of ponies there isn't much a human can do really. Like I would have to adapt to a new lifestyle involving food, body, and how to entertain myself. This was gonna be one hell of a new experince for someone like me. I wasn't used to any of this but I am still alive so I guess that's a plus right?


I started to doze off to sleep when all of a sudden I heard a familier voice talk.

"Hey don't you go sleeping on me now boy." I knew who that was just from the tomboyish voice she had. I got into a sitting position and saw that Rainbow dash was standing in the doorway of the hospital room. I just grinned as she walked in and sat down on a chair to my right.

"Hey Rainbow dash." I said still smileing.

"Hey....John was it?" She asked. I nodded yes. "Well I just wanted to come by and see how you were doing...so you doing good?" She asked.

"Well.....i'm doing better than before so yeah I think i'm doing ok. Oh and thanks for saveing my life. If it wasn't for you then I don't know where I would be right now." I said to her my smile now gone. She just blushed a little from my complimant....I didn't consider it a compliment but I guess she did. 


"Aw it was nothing really John. In fact it was really Twilight who saved you. Turns out she used a magical spell and sence that you were in trouble. She ended up teleporting you here and.....you.....you just looked......well like you looked like some deformed creature." She said this with a sorta depressed look. 

"Hey......why you look all sad now? Did I say something?" I asked her with a worried tone in my voice.

"Huh...oh no you didn't....it's just well when I saw you like that I swear you were dead. Then we saw that you were breathing really heavy like. Next thing I knew I just propped you on my back and ran off as fast as I could to the hospital for treatment. When I got you here they just made me wait in the waiting room." She explained.


"Well still even though Twilight brought me here with some magic you are the one that brought me to get treated without a moment of hesitation. So I think the thanking does belong to you most of all Rainbow dash." I said with a smile. She just looked up and smiled back.

"Yeah well I am the fastest one in equestria." She said with pride. I had a feeling I just saw her go back to normal. I chuckled at this seeing how she was acting. 

"Well I have an idea I could do with you after I get out as a sort of thanks."

"Oh really waht you have in mind?"

"Well when I can acctualy run I could race you. Seeing that you seem to like to race and all." She just looked at me for a second before busting out laughing and falling onto the ground. I just had a straight face at this.

"Bwahahahahaha!!" When she was finaly done she got up from the ground wipeing her eyes. "Hehehe well if you wanna lose that is John. Sure I guess it would work. I mean beating you would be a thanks to me." She said with a grin. I just smiled back.

"Ok then that's what we will do once I get out and can run again. Now.......about one more thing."

"What is it?" She asked.

"I need to know when I can get this bandage off of my eye so I can see again." She then just had a surprised look along with a depressed look. But before she could say anything to me the Nurse came in and said that it was time for her to go that visiting hours were over. Dash just got up and left without saying a word. I just let out a sigh as I laied down on the bed looking back at the ceiling again. Then I slowly fell asleep with my good eye closing.
