Rainbow Dash sighed as she turned off the alarm, wake up calls were WAY too early in the morning in her opinion but nopony else minded getting up at 3 in the morning. She got up and shook out her morning stiffness, her mane was a wreck, again. She wasn't much of a fashion pony like Rarity, but even she wanted to look good for the fans when she was out doing her thing with weather.
Time to go to work, hopefully my boss is in a good mood today. She snorts in laughter. If that was even possible.

After an hour to get ready and clean up
Rainbow Dash was flying to work after getting all clean, she didn't mind a bit of dirt but her boss was another thing altogether. It was always like this when she went into work.
Rainbow Dash! Your filthy, go clean your mane. Do you know that you missed the info meeting about snowflakes?! When was the last time you ever put effort into your work?! You are a lazy, useless, good for nothing pegasus! Now get to work on clearing the cloud cluster above Ponyvile!
Yeah... pretty close to that every day, except for the task, it was spot on. Hopefully this time he's off doing something he enjoys, like organize a meeting about raindrops. Rainbow Dash thought as she landed on the soft cloud of her boss's work place, Weather Control Center or WCC if you want to be snippy.
Normally you would go in, stamp your card and leave. Now you had to avoid all the chaos since all of the Pegasi were trying to a million things in one day, every day. As Rainbow Dash looked into the hall after she opened the door, it looked pretty chaotic.
Jeez, this could take awhile. The good thing is that I can't see him anywhere. I might be able to do this and not get yelled at. Rainbow thought happily, already her day was turning out great. If she didn't see her boss, then she would be in the clear for at least one day.
Wrong.
At that second Rainbow Dash noticed her boss standing right next to her with the most scary look she ever saw on him.
He's... smiling?
Whimsy Weather, the old pegasus weather captain who never missed a day's work and a chance chewing out workers, was smiling at her with a completely real smile. "Hello Rainbow Dash, you look good today."
He's... happy to see me? He... thinks I look good? Who in Ponyvile are you and what have you done with my boss?!
"Um... thank you?" Rainbow Dash said completely confused on what was happening.
Whimsy seemed to be beaming with joy. "No problem, could I see you in my office for a moment? I know you have weather to spread, but I need to talk to you before you go."
Uh oh, this doesn't sound good. The only ponies who go in Whimsy's office were himself, clients, and workers being chewed out.
"Uh... what do you want to talk about?" Rainbow Dash said as she was guided to Whimsy's office.
"Oh, nothing important. I just want to say a few words before you go." Whimsy said as he opened his fancy door with his name imprinted with brass on the front.
Rainbow Dash stumbled into a chair and sat down while Whimsy sat at his neat desk. "So...?"
Whimsy was done smiling and now had a serious look on. "Now Rainbow Dash, you've been here for 5 years, correct?"
Rainbow Dash nodded dumbly. Where was he going with this?
"And you've been doing a decent job here for those 5 years, which makes me all the more upset that I need to do this."
I knew it, there was no way it was a good thing to see him smile.
Whimsy sighed and pushed a pink envelope towards Rainbow Dash. " I think it's time you left us here at WCC, I'm sorry."
W-w-what?! She was being fired?! Her?! Fired?!
"But... but why?" Rainbow Dash croaked out, trying to keep from fainting. This isn't happening! This isn't happening!
"Well, your almost always late with your work, you never get here in working standard, your always messy with your duties. Besides, I found somepony who'd take the job and would do good with it. I'm sorry, I really am, but you no longer work here and that's that."
Rainbow Dash stood up, clearly angry. "But I've been here for 5 years! I always get the work done, even if it is a bit late! What am I supposed to do for food? How am I going pay my bill?!"
Whimsy stayed seated but was clearly not budging. "Those are your problems, not mine. Remember that I warned you that this could happen, several times but you didn't listen. Your not the only one who got fired, some of the old staff got fired as well. We just couldn't hold you hoof anymore."
Rainbow Dash tore the pink envelope in a rage and sat firmly in her chair. "No way, I'm not gonna go."
Whimsy sighed and started pleading. "Dash, please don't make me throw you out. I don't like this as much as you would think."
Rainbow Dash stayed in her seat. "I'm not going. Give me my job back."
Whimsy picked up his phone and pushed a button. "Security, there's a situation in my office."
Two bulky guards came and pulled Rainbow Dash out of the chair. "Time to leave miss, your not welcome here."
Whimsy followed them out. "Dash, I want there to be no bad blood between us. If you need help I will gladly help you find more work."
The guards threw Rainbow out the door and onto a cloud away from WCC, now I know you think clouds are nice and soft, but clouds are as hard as the ground.
Ouch! Of course she lands face first on the cloud, it wouldn't be a kick out if she didn't.
Rainbow Dash picked herself up and shook all of the water that sprayed her coat and mane in impact. Before she could rush back, the guards closed and locked the door.
"Come on! This isn't fair!" She yelled until her throat hurt. This is the worst Monday ever.
Defeated, Rainbow went back to her home, hoping that this was just a twisted dream.
