"That's odd, the pegesai don't move clouds around here," Jay pointed out. They looked toward the sun. A mental barrier broke within Taro as a mighty beast tackled him to the ground. It was Thatch. Finally, you have left the side of Discord! You are so foolish as to leave, Taro. Do you know how long I've been waiting to tear you limb from limb! he shouted. "Thatch, no!" Jay replied quickly. Look, kid, I know you think he's a good guy and you looked up to him like he was your real father, but he needs to be destroyed! "Thatch, this is the real Taro. Queen Chrysalis has returned and she turned into Taro! Don't kill the wrong guy!" LIES! Thatch pushed harder on Taro. Taro looked deep into one of his emerald eyes. "Thatch, Draumr Kopa!" Taro accessed his magic and glowed a bright white. The light that emanated from Taro nearly blinded Jay. Taro, is it... possible? "Eka ai fricai un Shur'tugal." Thank Celestia I stopped. Thatch said, getting off of Taro. "No kidding." What are you doing? "Trying to save Equestria. Now that we have you, we can really boost our chances. Do you know where Chrysalis and Discord are?" No, that's why I fly around. I was hoping to find you and kill you. "Wow, I must have done some pretty dark things to want a part of me to murder me." "You did," Jay agreed. They walked into the camp where Rainbow Dash had been waiting. She was taking a nap under a tree. "Hey Rainbow Dash, guess who I found," Taro said, waking her up. She sat up and looked at the two. "Thatch? You found him?" "Actually, I was referring to the other one." Rainbow Dash studied him over, standing on all four legs. "Who is he?" "It's only been a couple years, Mom," Jay said. Rainbow Dash's eyes lit up. "Jay, is that really you?" "Yes it is." Rainbow Dash ran up to Jay and hugged him. "How did you find him?" Rainbow Dash asked. "He was about to be murdered, so I swooped in and rescued him," Taro replied. Well, what do we do now? Thatch wondered. "We need to find Discord and Chrysalis. If we find one, there's a chance we'll find the other, but don't count on it. I'd actually prefer they're separate," Taro inquired. "Why's that?" Jay asked. "Because if we had the Elements of Harmony and no Chrysalis, we can eliminate Discord and vice-versa." "Where do we start looking?" Rainbow Dash asked. Taro turned to Thatch. You make rounds around Equestria searching for me, right? Yes, but I've never found even a trace of evidence. "Hmm... Okay, Rainbow Dash and Jay, head to Baltimare and search for clues. Be careful, I don't want you to get hurt. Rainbow Dash, you have a sword for defense. Jay, do you have anything?" "I don't, but there's an armory in Dodge City that is selling an item that I've been training with. I can go back, purchase it, and come back," Jay replied. "Do that before you leave, sometime. Thatch, you fly me up to Canterlot. I've got a princess I need to talk to. Once you drop me off, fly around the Galloping Gorge area." "Got it," they all said. "Excellent. We leave in the morning. Jay, go buy your item." Jay left. "Why not now?" Dash asked. "Because I've been dead for four years, yet somehow my body was preserved. I'm a little stiff." Taro jumped up to a tree, grabbed a branch, and swung around it. He let go and flipped backwards, catching a nearby branch with his feet. He swung around it and caught it, then knelt on it, pulling his feet on the top of the branch. After 20 minutes, Jay came back with a bracer on his arm, housing a small, hidden blade on the bottom of it.
