Chapter 10: Truth
Lan stared at the blank ceiling as he was resting in bed. He couldn't sleep. He looked down at Twilight, which had her head under Lan's. "She looks so peaceful," Lan thought, "I can't move her. Even if I need to go to the bathroom." Lan stroked Twilight's side. "Should I tell her the truth?" Lan's tried to wiggle out her grasp, but Twilight help tighter. "Fuck this." Lan pushed Twilight, sending her sliding to the other part of the bed, almost falling out of the bed. "That was too close." Lan said, but scared him because Twilight shifted with the sentence.
Walk trotted to the bathroom, turned on the sink, and started to clean his face. When he got done he went to the bathroom, and noticed the time was 2:00 AM.
"Shit tits." Lan sighed. As he walked back, he could see Blue Breeze sleeping on the couch. "What am I going to do with you... wait... Celestia! I could ask Celestia for help!" Lan jumped with glee, but hoovered down. As Lan went to bed, again, he slid Twilight back and cuddled with her. Maybe next time.
~~~~~~~ Next Morning
"Come on guys? Please! I need to talk with Celestia!" Lan was at Canterlot begging for entrance.
"IF. YOU. WANT. TO. SEE. THE. PRINCESS. FILL. OUT. THIS. FORM." One of the guards was getting prissy.
"PPPUUUHHHHLLLLLLLEEEEESSSSSSS!" Lan gave the sad eyes. "Preety prese?"
"...Ok... I made up my mind. Your NEVER COMING IN!!!"
"Damn."
"My what do we have here?" Celestia beamed over the guards and Lan. "If it isn't Lan. I'm guessing you want in? Please do." Celestia smiled.
"Thank you princess!" While Lan entered, he turned his head around and stuck out his tongue.
"What brings you here Lan?"
"I need help. It's about... a home."
"Lan, you live with Twilight now."
"No it's not that. What about Root and Blue Breeze. Twilight doesn't have a spare room and there's only one couch."
"I think I can solve that!" As both Celestia and Lan walked into the throne room, Celestia's horn glowed, and a transparent house appeared on the side of the room.
"Will this sufice? It has rooms for Root and..."
"Blue Breeze."
"Ah yes, Blue Breeze, and even has more rooms for any other 'brony' you might find."
"That would be amazing, but... what will this cost."
"Nothing my dear. You keep doing what your doing and the house is free."
"Awesome!" Lan hugged Celestia. "Thank you so much for this!" The door exploded. Well sorta, they just opened really fast but when I say exploded it adds a little more detail and where is this going, WHY DID YOU WRITE THIS DOWN FOR ME TO READ!!!
"CELESTIA!!!" Luna came right through the door, and the house dispersed. "Ah, Lan. Perfect!"
"What is it sister? Has something come up that Lan needs to do?"
"Tell him everything!"
By that, Lan froze. "Tell me everything? What is there to tell me?" Lan thought.
"Luna, stop. This isn't how it's suppose to go."
"Lan, there's more that you don't know, and I can't just keep it inside me." Luna looked down, Celestia was in total shock.
"LUNA!!! ENOUGH OF THIS!!!" Celestia's voice boomed, causing Lan to fall over in fear.
"What the hell is going on? Has Luna gone mad? Why is Celestia so protective over 'what needs to be said'?" Lan's thoughts spun out of control. He wasn't hoping for this. Lan had only one idea to what to do.
"So about that house? Whe..."
"Celestia... If you don't say it, I will. He has the right to know." Luna slammed her hoof, causing the ground to be ruptured.
"..." Celestia thought for a moment. "Lan, the life you live here, it's a lie."

At the applefarm, both Zero and Mac were collecting apples. Applejack was helping Applebloom with something so this left Mac and Zero alone. Perfect time for Zero to have that talk with Mac.
"Hey Big Mac..." Zero started.
"Yes?"
"You know, how I..."
"You love Applejack, ya I noticed."
"But how did you...?"
"She's my sister, I can tell when she loves something, or something." Big Mac tapped a tree, causing every apple to fall, hard. Zero gulped.
"So you don't like... mind?"
"Not at all, as long as you don't..." Big Mac closed in on Zero. "... have your way with her."
Zero couldn't breath. "NONONONONONONONO, I HAVEN'T TRIED ANYTHING LIKE THAT YET!!!"
"..." Mac tapped another tree, causing all but one apple to fall. "Yet..."
"I'm dead..." Zero thought.
"Go on, tell me your plan."
"There was no plan, I swear." Lied, he had a plan to the point were they died together.
"Hmf." Mac gave a little more force with his kick. The apple was resistant.
"... I'm sorry..."
Big Mac turned away from the apple.
"It's just that, I love her... I loved her since I saw her. Maybe... maybe... if you want me to leave, i'll pack."
"..." Big Mac smiled. "I would only allow a man to take my sister, she's all yours."
Zero perked up. "Really?"
"Again, don't knock her up."
"Wait, you kinda just gave me permission to have sex with her."
Big Mac flinched and coincidentally kicked the tree so hard that it snapped off the ground.
"Shit." Zero thought when he got hit in the face.

Blue Breeze woke up to the sweet smell of pancakes. As he walked in, he saw Twilight, head down.
"Twilight? What's wrong?"
"Oh!" With that she perked up a bit. "Oh nothing! I just... when I woke up, Lan was gone."
"So you make pancakes?"
"He left a note saying he had to talk with the princess."
"So why are you sad, I mean, you know where he is? It's not like he's been kidnapped."
"I had this all planned for him." She looked over at the table, all set nice and pretty for her and Lan.
Blue never noticed that, it's weird that a person doesn't notice something big till someone announces its presence.
"...! What about me?!"
Twilight blushed, being broken from her thought. "I was... more or less... hoping you would still be asleep." Twilight laughed a bit.
"Well those pancakes smell delicious."
"You want some?"
"Sure!"

"What do you mean? My life, being..."
"Your life in Equestria dear."
Luna was standing beside Celestia, quiet as a mouse.
"I don't..."
"You see, 'He' makes it all happen. He made Equestria, Earth, and everything else. When you died back at Earth, 'He' took you under his control. He saw that you could fulfill what was needed here. That is, taking out the Nameless. They pledge this planet with their evil ways, killing, looting, and rape. You were hand selected out of all of the people on earth, to come here."
"What will happen next, after I destroy Nameless."
"..." Celestia started to cry. "You go to Hell."
"WHAT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!!"
"When you died, you were suppose to go to Hell. You broke many rules."
"I don't care about that." This answer surprised Luna, as she gasped. "What about Twilight."
"She will have to find another stallion."
"..." Lan couldn't speak. This wasn't fair. Hey would save a planet just to go back to Hell. But why? Lan choose his next words carefully.
"Fuck you."
Both Celestia and Luna gasped, as they have never been said that.
"Both of you, if your just GOING TO LET ME DO THIS AND BE SENT BACK!!! FUCK YOU ALL!!! FUCK THIS 'PLAN' YOUR MAKING ME GO THROUGH!!! IS THIS SOME TYPE OF GAME TO YOU!!!"
Celestia couldn't speak.
"I'M DONE!!! FUCK THIS, I'M NOT GOING TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR SHIT ASS PLAN!!!"
"But you..."
"Listen to me carefully, FUCK. GOD. HE CAN GO DIE IN A HOLE FOR ALL I CARE!!!" Lan turned back, only to be blocked off by Celestia's magic.
"DO NOT ADDRESS HIM LIKE THAT!!!" Celestia calmed herself. ".Listen to me, your endangering thousands of lives. Think about what your doing."
"WHAT'S THE POINT!!! THEY ALL HATE ME ANYWAY!!!"
"... What about Twilight."
Lan was speechless.
"What I thought. I'll give you time to think about it."
Lan thought as hard as he could, but for what. No reward, just pain.
"Lan."
Lan turned around to see Root, standing there.
"Root?"
"Lan. What they have planned is not good. Death for everyone who stands in their way. They are planning to take over the throne, wiping out millions of pony's. Lan, i'm a brony. Like you. Accept the job."
"But... Twilight."
"'He' made a mistake, some bronies were able to slip into this world, like other people, except me. Lan i'm in this plan too. I was the first for the plan till they corrupted me. Let's do this together. As partners."
Root's hoof stuck out, but Lan didn't move. He couldn't. All this was too fast for him. He couldn't take it all in at once, so he had to reject all of it, but it just came back.
"I... you want to hear my final answer."
Celestia and Luna closed in to hear him.
"I love Twilight. I do, and there is no mistaking for it. I would protect her with my life. If I have to leave this world... I don't want to leave without her. What i'm saying is... fuck it..." Lan smiled."I swore to protect the innocent. To what ever cause, or effect that came to me. I live by that oath, I mean, it's how I died. I want to be known as a person that cared for others, to be the good guy." Lan looked down at his hooves. He swore off the thoughts that rushed his mind. He started to recite a oath.
Stick to your friends,
help only your partners.
Destroy all corrupt,
blacken their hopes.
Live by love,
live by friends,
live by good,
live by hope.
"That oath was by a friend of mine, one that knows I live by it. I accept your job."
Luna jumped with joy, Celestia smiled.
"Partners?" Root lifted his hoof.
"Partners!" Lan punched his hoof with all his might, sending Root into backing up a bit.

"Maybe what? Give him something for doing this job? What about Root?"
