Authors note: Sorry this took so long, been really preoccupied at school, getting accustomed to the regular routine of things.
Part Two
Abraxis and Celestia were deep in discussion on how the creeper behaves in this universe, and what to use against it.
"We should have some of your pegasi.." Abraxis began, but was stopped short by a small explosion rocking the command tent. Looking out, he saw multiple blue, triangular pyramid shaped objects slowly floating towards them, and that's when he noticed the creeper slowly approaching the tent, but soon receded, having nearly missed their mark. "Blast those annoying spores (the blue triangular objects that release creeper upon impact)!" he spat as Celestia and Platius emerged from the tent to see what the commotion was about. Being informed about the threat at hand, their attention was soon taken to the air, as The Wonderbolts shot across sky, performing corkscrews and other stunts to disrupt the spore's trajectory. They were soon over taken by Rainbow Dash, who, still wearing her element, performed a Triple Corkscrew Sonic Rainboom. The Rainboom released so much energy in fact, it caused all creeper spores within proximity to implode. Rainbow Dash looked back, happy at her work, and landed close to the group of three, stunned in amazement. Rainbow peaked her head forward with beaming eyes and a smile on her face asked,
"How'd you like that?!"
Platius was the first to respond, and muttered,
"That... that was PURE AWESOMENESS!!" Abraxis looked at him blankly, blinking his eyes, he finally said.
"I never heard you talk like that Platius, and the Rainboom was beyond awesome."
"Ah, Young One, for there is much you do, and don't know about me." Platius replied.
"Are you two done socializing?" Princess Celestia asked with her soft and calming voice. "We have more urgent matters to attend to, don't we?"
"Well, uh..." Abraxis soon trailed off, still stunned in amazement of the Rainboom. He shook his head and followed to white Alicorn.
The group was standing on a hill, assessing the damage any spores may have done, they had already explained the tactics they had discussed to many of the earth ponies that were attempting to mount an assault.
“Seems like you ponies seem to have a good defense set up. However, we need to mount an offense soon as the creeper will continue to get stronger, and even with your magic, it will become extremely difficult to hold it off.” Abraxis said, breaking the silence.
“Well then, do you have any ideas on how we can eradicate the posing threat on Earth?” Celestia asked.
“Well, in my universe when we did a planetary sweep, we had systematic tactics of clearing away the creeper, we could use those tactics with the limited resources we have and see how far we get.” Abraxis replied
“Or the power of friendship” the mane six, that had suddenly appeared in front of the group, added.
“I think we would get killed before we could share the magic of friendship to the creeper” Abraxis retorted. “We should probably just go with normal planetary sweep tactics as there is nothing else we can do.”
The group agreed, normal planetary sweep tactics was the only option they had, friendship and conventional pony magic could not be used against such a menace. Abraxis explained what they had to do in order to remove the threat on the planet. However, the continuous process of Pegasus bomb, advance, and convert, soon became extremely boring and tired out every pony mounting an assault, at least now they knew how discord felt being encased in his stone prison. Mid way through, Twilight’s slave---er pet dragon, Spike, discovered that the creeper withdraws in reaction to his breath (Eeyup, repulsors), however this only proved useful in the situation he was in, as he couldn’t maintain his breath for long.
The process continued on for days, the Earth in this universe was quite large, and contained many creeper emitters. The group’s assault on the last emitter on the planet however proved peculiar.
“Ah, what in the hay is wit this goo?” Applejack yelled as another group of pegasi began their dive bombing runs, “we ain’t able to gain any ground from it!” The creeper here was exceptionally strong, Abraxis and Celestia were scrambling to decide on what to do, Pegasus bombing proved near futile and they didn’t have enough blasters to advance.
“Muffins!!!!!” Ditzy Doo yelled, chucking muffins at the creeper. Many ponies couldn’t help but giggle at her derp. As she finished her dive bombing run, she landing by Celestia and whispered something in her ear. She ushered the mane six ponies to join then as her horn began to glow. Soon an image of a blue, eight point star was projected in front of the mane six, Celestia, Abraxis, and Platius.
“ I HAVE LANDED ON YOUR PATHETIC PLANET AND THE PURITY OF NOTHINGNESS SHALL BE AMONG YOU!!!!” The image suddenly screamed, Abraxis and Platius immediately thought “The Creeper Nexus (leader of the creeper)”.
“Celestia, do you have any means of communicating with what is projected in front of us?” Abraxis asked.
“Well yes, what do you want me to tell it?” Celestia replied
“Tell him the magic of friendship will end all he has accomplished and let everything live in peace in harmony.” Abraxis declared.
“Sending now” Celestia said as she closed her eyes and her horn began to glow an ever brighter glow.
“NO, THERE IS NOTHING THAT WILL STOP US, WE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED AND THIS WORLD WILL BE COMPLETELY COVERED IN CREEPER!!!!!!!”
"Tell him, you have underestimated the power of friendship, and you lack of it shall lead to your downfall!" Abraxis yelled.
"Alright." Celestia mused, her horn glowing brighter again
"FRIENDSHIP IS NOTHING AND WILL ACCOMPLISH NOTHING!!! WE SHALL OVERPOWER YOU AND UNDO EVERYTHING YOU 'FRIENDHSIP' HAS DONE, THIS IS YOUR DEMISE!!!!!!!!!!"
"This big eight point star thing really bugs me." Pinkie muttered under her breath to Rainbow Dash as her and the other mane six's elements began to glow. Suddenly, The Elements began to emit their own specific frequency of visible light. All the beams of light soon bonded together to form a rather large white beam of light that shot forward in front of the group, completely converting all creeper that was in front of the group into "Anti-Creeper (already explained in Part One)". The beam pierced completely through the creeper and blasted the Nexus in the distance, and during all this, Celestia was still maintaining the image in front of her.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........" The image screamed as the blue, eight pointed star in the image turned white.
"I'm.....I'm sorry....." The white star began to say, "I don't what got into me, I peered into another reality, a dark one, full of nothing, just darkness.... and when I looked away, something in me compelled me to go around the universe and undo all intelligent life has accomplished." There was a long and stunned silence among everypony within ear shot.
"Well, now you know the power of friendship, and its magic." Twilight said after the near minute of silence.
"Yes, friendship is very powerful, and underestimating it had very dire consequences for the other side of me." The Nexus replied, "I want this evil that corrupted me destroyed, and you just proved to me that you can do that. I don't want any other race to fall victim to its darkness, even in only this rather small multiverse of only three universes."
"Tell it, that we'll eradicate this evil in the dark and alternate reality that originally corrupted the creeper." Abraxis declared.
"Sure, I'll clear things up with the, umm, what was it again?" Celestia asked
"The Creeper Nexus" Platius answered, cutting Abraxis off short.
"Alright, have yourself and the Elements bearers prepare for our journey to this dark and alternate reality." Celestia replied.
"Did someone say darkness?" Luna questioned, suddenly appearing from the trees.
