Chapter 22: Just a scratch

Cold.... That's all I felt. All I felt for what seemed like hours. Finally I began to hear something.

Beep.... beep..... beep..... beep.....

I opened my eyes and started blinking a few times until my vision finally became clear. I looked around and saw I was in the hospital and my chest has been wrapped up. I start to move my arm but feel pain in my chest when I try. So I just sit there. I take in my surroundings. That's when I notice the figures around me. Laying on chairs and the ground were my friends Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow, and Pinkie, with her mane deflated. On the bed with me cuddled up to my shoulder was Fluttershy.

'How the hell did I miss that?'

I Look out the window near me and see it is still dark out.

'How long was I out? And what happened?'

I noticed Fluttershy starting to stir. So I acted like I was asleep. I peeked through my eyelids and saw her looking at me.

"I miss you CJ... The Doctors say you will never wake up... But I cant believe that... I cant..." She whispers.

She wraps her arms around my neck and gives me a hug. "Y-You promised you would never leave.... you promised..."

Before she could let got I lifted my arms slowly, ignoring the pain, and wrapped them around her. Causing her to freeze in shock.

"Do I look like a liar?"

She lets out a loud gasp and presses her lips against mine. After a few moments of shock I return the kiss. We sit there kissing for what feels like hours. When she finally pulls away I look into her bloodshot eyes. She looks like she has been crying all night.

"C-CJ... I knew you would never leave." She said with a huge, tearful smile.

The rest of my friends began to stir and woke up. When they noticed me they all ran to me hugging me at the same time. It hurt a bit, but was totally worth it. When they all let go everything fell quiet. So I spoke up.

"So, Are the three girls OK?" After I finished all of the girls gasped.

Twilight walked forward and looked me in the eyes. "You were just nearly killed, and yet you still worry about others over yourself?"

I nod "Yes... and?"

She shakes her head. "Nothing..."

I shrug and look back to the rest of them. "So? Are they OK?"

"They are fine..." Said Applejack.

"That's good, now excuse me, I need to get home." I say as I try to get up.

Fluttershy pushes me back onto the bed. "No, You are staying here, you are not fit to be walking around."

I stare at her blankly. "Fluttershy... just let me get up."

"No..."

"Fluttershy...."

"No..."

"Fluttershy, Let me up... now..." I said with a small bit of anger in my tone.

"Not until you are better...."

"Let...me....up....now!" I said, my voice a bit deeper than normal.

They were all taken aback by this. When I realized my sudden burst of anger I fell back onto the bed.

'Where the hell did that come from...'

I look back to Fluttershy who is about to cry. "Fluttershy... I'm sorry... I don't know why I yelled..."

She took in a deep breath and sighed. "I-It's fine..."

She got off the bed and walked out of the room. I turned to the rest of my friends who were still shocked at the outburst.

"I'm sorry... I don't know what happened... you know I would never yell at you guys..."

They nodded their heads and said goodbye as they left the room. I lay back further in my bed and started thinking to myself.

'What the hell was that for... Why was I so angry... why did it feel so... good?' I shuddered a bit before I closed my eyes.

'Maybe some sleep will help...'

Woke up the next morning with a terrible headache. I opened my eyes and looked to the side. I saw a glass of water and reached for it. Just out of reach. I imagined the glass coming to me. It began to glow bright yellow and float into my hand.

'Now that is fucking cool'

I take a drink of the water and look forward. Then I notice what I SHOULD have seen when I woke up. Celestia sitting there, Wide eyed at what she just saw. What can I say, I can be very selective at what I see and hear sometimes.

"C-CJ... Did you just use... magic?" She said still awed.

"Ya... long story short... I think the shadow took some of yours and gave it to me..."

She thought for a moment before looking back to me.

"Well, I came here to check up on you, I am happy to say you are going to make a full recovery... but..." She trails off.

"...Yes?"

She snaps her attention back to me. "Oh... uh... I wanted to know... if... OH! Ya! If I could check you... to see how much magic you got... ya... check you..."

I could tell that wasn't why but whatever, I wouldn't mind knowing either.

"Bah what the hell go ahead."

She nods and walks to me, she lowers her horn to my head and starts funneling her magic into my head. She twitches a bit and speaks.

"W-What is that... It looks like..."

Before she could finish a familiar voice sounded in my head.

SPOILERS! She is going to spoil everything! Can't have that... can we?

I felt a huge shock and everything turn white for a moment. When the flash subsided I noticed I was looking down... at myself? And I had a shocked look on my face.... the one I was looking at.

"Uh... hi me?" I said in a motherly voice.

'No mother fucking way'

"Uh... hi.... me???" Said a more male voice... my voice...

At that moment I noticed what happened. I stared down at myself for a moment as it stared back at me.

"TIA!?"
"CJ?!" We said at the same time.

'....................Fuck....................'
