Okay back to writing! Finally, and I know this chapter will be awesome, has my favourite grass type ever here, and my most hated dragon type!
It was morning in Ponyville with the sun shining brightly, as its rays were going through the window of the home of Rarity as she slept. She was dreaming of the perfect dress, one that would be so beautiful that it would melt rocks if possible, or maybe a dress that could grow flowers or maybe a dress that could make gems magically appear from the ground, the possibilities were infinite for her.
She awoke to the smell of pancakes and red roses, making her wake up to seeing Roselia carrying a stack of pancakes to her with some floating leafs to hold the tray up. She placed it next to Rarity and sat on her bed, happily smiling at Rarity.
“Oh this is simply wonderful Roselia, simply wonderful.” Rarity ate her pancake sophisticatedly and gently, savouring the lovely and near perfect taste of the pancakes, which complemented with the smell of roses in the room along. The pancakes had some ingredient in them that made them better the pinkies cupcake filled pancakes or Applejack’s apple flavoured pancakes which were simply divine.
Roselia moved next to Rarity and hugged her, her soft rose hands acting as soft pillows for Rarity’s body as Roselia hugged Rarity with great affection. “Your very affectionate today aren’t you?” she looked at Roselia and gave her a quick warm hug. “But I must find someone to help with modelling my new dress today-“ Roselia cut her off by pointing to herself, with Rarity thinking this through “Hmm… I guess that could work, after all, you’re not much taller than me” Roselia smiled in happiness, running down stairs in excitement, with Rarity following behind.
“Now Roselia, stand on the podium, and I’ll put your dresses on, but don’t worry darling there’s only one dress to try on, then afterwards, we can get some crepes, how does that sound?” Roselia smiled and got on the podium, happily waiting for Rarity to bring out the dress.
Roselia waited only a minute before Rarity brought out her piece de resistance, or her best work as she put it for Roselia, the long flowing dress and the white as snow fabric made it beautiful already, but the small rows of diamonds on it on the back to amplify it’s beauty further and to get the attention of any stallion or mare for miles around.
“Okay darling, just let me put this on you” Rarity put the dress over Roselia, it was a big big for her, but by magic, the dress magically resized itself to perfectly fit her, with Rarity smiling at her handy work “Oh it’s a perfect fit, well it’s made to be a perfect fit anyway” she smiles happily, but then she went to get the final touch to it, a lovely necklace made out of flawless gems and one diamond, shining brighter than the sun itself if you stared at it for awhile at least.
Rarity placed the necklace around Roselia’s neck and smiled at her design and at how beautiful it was, her design was flawless in every single way, but then, Roselia started to glow brightly, her one rose arms becoming a bunch of roses instead, one side of roses was red like roses you would use for a date, and the other were blue, which were so rare for Rarity to find, her face seemed to get a masquerades mask, her body becoming more sleek and more sleeker like, as if it was designed to be stealthy.
The light faded away and Rarity saw her, but Roselia was confused at what happened, looking around worried, before running over to Rarity and hugging her to try and calm down, the sudden change to her whole body scared her little.
Rarity hugged her new Roselia caringly and lovingly, her warm fur making Roselia cheer up a little “Now don’t be so upset, I’m sure that this is a good thing” Roselia said in a worried voice “Roserade” instead of her usual name and hugged Rarity tight in worry “Umm… Roserade, you're still the same rose to me, so don’t be so upset about all of this” Rarity smiled at her with a great deal of happiness and care for her little rose.
Roserade looked up at Rarity and hugged her tight, feeling happy her best friend still liked her, even if she looked different and weird looking, though she felt a tiny bit stronger though, so that made her feel a bit happier.
“Now why don’t we get some lunch, say at the… you choose Roserade, you’re the one that needs cheering up” Rarity said, with Roserade hugging Rarity and going outside and pointing to the flower store and looking at the rose seeds “Hmm? Why would you want to… it’s your decision Roserade, you lead the way” Roserade ran over to the flower store, with Rarity running behind, Roserade's speed had seemed to have doubled, possible quadrupled, she was as fast as Rainbow Dash, maybe even faster.
Rarity saw that Roserade was pointing at some rose seeds, she seemed to really want to get some for some odd reason, she was a walking rose but it didn’t matter, Rarity brought a bag of rose seeds for Roserade, who then ran back to the house and planted them in the garden of Rarity’s home, which made Roserade smile happily, planting all of them in an odd pattern.
“Roserade, you're awfully excited but-“Roserade’s head glowed brightly and the weather turned to a warm summers day, going to the beach and getting a suntan sort of weather, but the roses started to grow and a quick speed, making Roserade smile as they grew bigger and bigger, while Rarity started to sweat, so Roserade ran inside and got Rarity a ice cream and a nice hat to block the sun’s rays.
“Thank you darling, but my word it’s scorching hot today!” Roserade smiled and started to water her plants, the roses growing incredibly fast and their heads forming in a few minutes, with Roserade smiling in pure happiness and laying in her rose garden, with Rarity lying next to her also, enjoying the aroma of the roses “But your work darling is incredible, maybe roses grow faster when a rose looks after them” she let out a little laugh, which made Roserade hug her again with great affection “okay Roserade, you have to decrease on the hugging” Roserade was going to hug her again, but she stopped and laid in her rose garden with Rarity happily and peacefully.
Suddenly, there peaceful happy laying in the roses was cut off by a loud roar from what appeared to be a black and dark blue, three headed flying hydra creature that seemed angry and annoyed at the hot weather, entering the town and chasing the ponies of Ponyville around, firing a beam of pure energy at the boutique in the process “Oh no! My home! My work!” Roserade saw how worried Rarity was and leaped in the way of the beam and fired and green energy ball at the beam, over powering it and exploding , with Roserade surprised by her power, along with… well, every pony.
The flying hydra roared “Hydrageon” loudly into the air, before Roserade jumper from the boutique on onto its middle head, making it angry and annoyed that is couldn’t eat or even bite her, but Roserade fired another energy ball at Hydrageon’s head, sending it to the ground as Roserade leaped to another building, getting a very good distance from the dragon, though she was surprised at her own power, she had never felt so strong before.
The dragon fired a blast of fire at her, the flames melting any sweets and setting any flowers in its path on fire, making Roserade angry, but she saw the shop she was on was the flower shop, and shop keeper was still inside.
She jumped down, ran inside and grabbed the shop keeper, moved out of the way of the fire, blast missing the explosion of fire on the flower store and putting the shopkeeper on the roof of another building, sighing in relief before going back to the dragon.
Roserade’s head glowed brightly, making the sun shine brightly again, her rose arms glowing brightly, she felt herself absorbing the sun’s rays into her body, it felt nice to her, but she felt her body charging up something powerful.
The dragon was angry now, glaring at Roserade before all three heads fired a powerful beam at Roserade, the power of the blast shock all of Ponyville, but Roserade fired a green beam of pure energy that shattered through Hydrageon’s beam, hitting him in the chest and blasting him off high into the air, sending him out of every ponies eyes while Roserade was more confused about her strength than ever now.
She leaped down from the building, and every pony ran to her and cheered for her, with Roserade shaking her head, thinking it was nothing that special, but every pony cheered her, but Roserade felt nervous in such a big crowd, so she bowed to every pony and went back home to Rarity, getting ready for bed.
She headed upstairs to her bed, till she heard Rarity reading a story book, Roserade’s favourite in fact, so she went to the white unicorn, with a nervous smile on her face.
Rarity got out of bed and hugged Roserade tightly and lovingly “Roserade, you saved the whole town! I’m so proud of you darling!” Roserade blushed at the compliments and smiled at her, but she looked worried like she was when she was Budew, always a bit worried now and then “Now darling relax, if it helps you can stay in here with me tonight” Roserade smiled happily and leapt into bed, getting comfy under the covers while Rarity got in also, falling asleep instantly.
Roserade moved closer to Rarity and hugged her softly, falling asleep next to her best friend in the whole world.
