Doctor Pie

Twilight Sparkle groaned as she was lead through the hospital. After having had a variety of heavy objects dropped on her, including an anvil, piano, and wagon, she wasn't feeling so good. She'd been arranged to have emergency care by the best doctor in the hospital.
"Now, Ms. Sparkle, please lie down on the bed while I fetch Doctor Pie," Nurse Redheart told her.
Twilight nodded, the name barely registering in her mind. There were lots of Pie families in Equestria, so it didn't even occur to her to think about her best friend. Imagine her surprise when the pink party pony bounced into the room in full doctor's garb.
"... Pinkie Pie? What are you doing-?" Twilight began.
"Sh! Be quiet, patient Sparkle! That's DOCTOR Pie!" Pinkie interrupted sternly. Her smile soon came back, though. "So, what do you think? Thought I was just a crazy party pony, didn't you?"
"H-huh? Don't tell me that you're going to be taking care of me..." Twilight groaned.
"Oh, don't worry! I've got LOTS of experience! I graduated from the University of Fillydelphia with 12 different doctorates!" Pinkie assured. Twilight was naturally a bit skeptical of the claim.
"Pinkie, if you're so educated, then-"
"Ok, enough talk! Let's see how bad you are! What are your symptoms?" Pinkie asked.
"... Pain. Throbbing, horrible pain," Twilight answered, resigning herself to her fate.
"Is that so? Have you experienced any other symptoms? Blood flow? Vomitting? Diarrhea?" Pinkie asked.
"What? Pinkie... an anvil fell on my head. Why would I-"
"Oh! Why didn't you just say so?" Pinkie asked.
Pinkie pulled a magnifying glass out of nowhere, and looked over Twilight's head (crawling on the poor purple mare in the process). She made several "ooh's" and "ah's" as she did so, while Twilight could do nothing but whimper.
"Yep. You've got a bump the size of a mountain on your head! I know just how to fix it, though!" Pinkie exclaimed, as she finally crawled off of Twilight.
"Get me to a better doctor?" Twilight suggested.
"Nope!" Pinkie dug around in a drawer, pulling out a hammer. Twilight stared at it fearfully.
"Pinkie... what are you going to do?" Twilight asked.
"We're going to hammer it back down!" Pinkie answered gleefully. "This is what you get for spying on me all day!"
Pinkie approached the terrified Twilight with a menacing gleam in her eyes. With one powerful, horrible hit, darkness overcame Twilight.

Twilight rubbed her head painfully as she woke up. She was in the hospital, still! Was she dead? Had Pinkie done her in? She then looked over her hooves, which were covered in bandages. She noticed Spike sitting in a chair beside her, who had a grin on his face.
"You're awake! You've been asleep for hours, Twilight!" he exclaimed. "Doctor Feelgood has you all patched up after that... um... incident with the dropped stuff. He said you'll be fine to go whenever you feel ready to head out."
"Huh? But... Doctor Pie... I mean, Pinkie..." Twilight stammered.
"Um, you've been watching Pinkie all day. She's not a doctor," Spike said, concern in his voice. "Maybe your injuries are worse than they thought..."
"There's no Pinkie around?" Twilight asked, relief evident on her face. "Good! Then we can still find her again! Come on, Spike! We've got to keep researching the Pinkie Sense!"
Spike's shoulder dropped a bit, but he sighed and nodded. He helped her climb into the wheelchair, and pushed her out the door.
