Chapter three: The Lone Wolf in Canterlot
Location: Everfree Forest
Time: 8:17 P.M.
Luna and 107 walked to reach the pod. While they walked Luna was asking a lot of questions about Dan’s race. He told her about their diet, history, and most importantly the history of war in human history. He told her about the Human-Covenant War. How his kind has been fighting for almost thirty years. They were about three miles away from the pod they were both unaware of the defense of Covenant troop in the perimeter. A jackal was in sniper position aiming at Luna and 107. The alien was aiming at the Spartan but changed target to shot Luna thinking she will be easier to kill. They both were walking and heard a beam rifle shot and hit the alicorn on the top left side just slightly missing her wing.
“LUNA!” as he shouted and jumped covering her as 107 was being hit by plasma rounds.
“Kill the human we cannot let him reach the pod.” Dan placed a drop shield around the injured pony and tuned to the enemy.
“Luna I want you to stay inside the shield and if they get too close shot them with your horn ok.” He ran toward the Covenant as he pulled out his SMGs. On Brute tried to strike Danny with the blade of his Brute Shot. 107 crouched before it hit him and he struck the brute in the gut and then he upper cut him. He turned and he began to shoot at a pair of jackals. Brute stuck Dan from behind and another grabbed his left arm. With his leg he kicked the ape and the shot the other one.
Luna now knows how the warfare between the two alien militaries. After the attack 107 walked up to the princess of the night and carried her to a nearby cave to heal she was in pain, it has been over 1000 years since she was in war but this kind of warfare was new to everypony on Counter Earth. He placed her on the ground.
“Luna I have to heal you. You’ve been hit by a beam rifle round or the wound will get infected. But I’m not going to lie the treatment will hurt as hell ok.”
“As you say human heal us. We want to fight we will not lose our world to some oversize apes they have to kill us first.” He looked as she dropped her head on the floor Dan applied the biofoam on the injury he saw Luna go through the painful treatment but her injury was covered by the foam. He bandaged her around her body.
“There now rest do not but on your armor till tomorrow ok Luna.” He was about to leave to the entrance of the cave but Luna grabbed his arm with her hoof.
“Please Dan before you leave sit by me.” Dan was lost by Luna’s beautiful moderate cyan eyes. He sat next to her.
“Now before we continue with our quest may I see the face of my savior?” Surprised that she wanted to see his face he normally does not remove his helmet to people he doesn’t trust, but for some reason he already did. Dan removed his helmet as Luna was shocked by the outcome of the alien’s face but know she can relax knowing that his face was gentle. Luna fell asleep on the soldier’s leg resting while she recovered from her injury by the strike defense team and he said to himself.
“Rest Luna as for tomorrow we need to reach the pod or the UNSC will come with full force god help both of our worlds.”

Date: October 20, 2552
Time: 6:00 A.M
Luna put but on her armor but she was still hurt from last night but the wound was close. They both ran to the pod Dan ran past Luna trying to reach it before the deadline of the UNSC closes. Dan reached the pod and placed his hand on the scanner to contact the fleet. While he waited to warm up he opened the pod and loaded a Warthog inside. Then the computer was ready for using.
“This is Spartan-107 contacting the UNSC Orbital Defense Station Orion do you copy. I repeat do you copy?” it took a while for him to get a response but the signal went through.
“This is Jorge Stronghold Captain of the UNSC Orion Station what do you have for use Lieutenant?”
“The Covenant is on this world and the natives are well… you’ll find out when you arrive but it looks like military support will be needed after all.”
“Consider it done 107.”
“Okay Spartan out.”
“One more thing Spartan.”
“Yeah.”
“Last night we sent an oversize drop pod to these coordinates.”
“Why?”
“We have scanned a high level of plasma. We figured if levels are that high then a Corvette is in the area.”
“What’s in the pod?”
“You’ll find you once you open it.”
“Ok Spartan out.” He looked and he saw the night princess pinned a grunt to the wall.
“Tell us what you mean plans for the white one tell us now we demand you to tell us!”
“We have orders to kill the white one when we take the city what other thing are we going to d…” a concussion beam hit the
grunt on the head killing it instantly.
“Luna come on if you want to save your sister than come with me I’ll get you home. Now let’s go we can’t loss ant more time. The two got on the hog and drove off to Canterlot.
“Very well.” The entered the Warthog. Spartan the fastest way to Canterlot is through this tunnel.” As he drove he noticed the enemy was behind them.
“Luna we have Ghosts on our tail. I need you to hold the car steady while I take them down.”
“How I have no hands?”
“Just hold the wheel and make sure it’s going straight if you need to maneuver around obstacles than do it.
“Ok.” As Luna entered the driver’s seat Dan armed the turret. Four Ghosts were firing at them. He aimed the gun at them and he shot at the Grunt knowing that it will be the easiest to fall. When it fell the vehicle just stopped one Brute managed to get close and he rammed the side of the car. Luna shouted.
“Hey!” she charged he horn and she shot the ape but she only made his helmet fall off of him. 107 turned the turret to the Brute and he shot him on the head the body fell left and the Ghost turned as well crashing on the side of the tunnel wall. Another one was closing in so the Spartan jumped on the Ghost and he struck the alien forcing him to accidentally activate the thrusters and passing Luna. 107 grabbed a grenade and he forced it through the front of the Ghost and he jumped off. He slid on the ground the last Brute passed by Luna using the thrusters of his vehicle he was about to hit Dan but he evaded out of the Ghost’s course. It turned around going back to the soldier he evaded again but this time he crashed into the Warthog. The armor of the car was able to shred the small floating vehicle. Luna stopped and she said.
“Spartan is thou ok.”
“Yeah I’m fine.”
“Sorry about thy car.”
“Don’t be the hog is designed to do that to Ghosts.” He walked to the Warthog and the Alicorn moved to the passenger seat.
Location: Canterlot
Time: 8: 11 A.M
“Your highness the enemy is near the force field we need to send the guards with the new armor if we are to win this war.” The captain of the royal guard Shining Armor giving her Intel of the Covenant forces.
“They are ready send them in we have to hold this position.” She looked at the sky not even the Wonderbolts were able to keep up with the speed of the Banshees but the armor did help take some damage from plasma rounds. Rainbow Dash was flying using a crossbow with the tip made of diamond and dragon scales attached with explosives.
“What the hay these guys just keep on coming out of nowhere.” Rainbow said to herself, she was exhausted from fighting for hours. Twilight and Rarity were shooting concussion beams at Grunts, Jackals, and Brutes. But Brutes and Hunters took more of their strength out of them. Pinkie and Applejack were in the frontlines with the armor on their side it has helped them fight. Fluttershy was given infirmary position she was the fastest nurse of the position one nurse can care for three injured in 15 minutes, the yellow Pegasus and care for ten in 15. One banshee was making its way to Celestia a fuel rod plasma missile hit the balcony she was on but she dodged it and she bucked the flying device on the side making the driver lose control and crash to a building.
She landed near Twilight and Shining Armor suddenly three large shadows appeared. Three corvettes started shooting down on the city destroying the land faster.
Dan was driving as he noticed the corvettes he drove into the city while he told Luna to lower her head. He drove through the battle maneuvering obstacles. He saw the castle was now being attack and the doors were being broken down by Hunters. The soldier took out his Spartan Laser and shot both of them the Brutes saw the familiar car driving through the field. Dan drove up to a hill and told Luna to aid his sister.
“But what about you.”
“Forget about me go help your sister. I have some aliens to catch up with.” He placed his helmet on and his shields charged up.
Location: Canterlot, outskirts of the city
Time: 2:38 P.M
Dan found the oversize pod that Stronghold informed him about. He stopped the car and he placed portable Covenant shields around him about 10 feet away the center of where he was. He was getting ready as the enemy approached. The first he saw were grunts he took two SMGs and began shooting at them. Heretics were second in line taking out some of the shields he evaded the rods but one hit the hog he looked and the hog was flying in the air he jumped out of the way as the hog fell to the ground and exploding one more time after his evading he turned to find that a Brute infantry were now approaching. He dropped his SMGs and he drew out his Assault Rifle as he charged at them.
Luna met her sister on a balcony while she was shooting banshees down from the sky. Then she turned to see that how one soldier was able to stand against so many. Dan was hit by a fuel rod and his shields were out he still fought back the threat. The Covenant turned around away from the castle now knowing that the Spartan was the bigger threat. Dan noticed the troop’s movement he picked up a Fuel Rod from a dead Grunt and he shot a building that the Covenant was under of the blast the side of the building cut off their route. Now was the time to bring in the big gun, corvettes were now launching Spirits and Phantoms to his position. He only had a few seconds before more Covies approached him. He ran to the pod and he placed his hand of the scanner.
“Hand identification Spartan-107. Inside is a MAC gun.”
“A MAC gun?” the walls of the pod fell as the Spartan moved from their direction. He climed on the ladder and he activated the gun. “Now time to get rid of these corvettes.” He shot the blast of the MAC gun hitting the side of one of the ship he charged up the gun again to hit the center. The center blast went right through the Corvette but I was still in the air. Looking at the damage done he charged the gun one more time but he was hit by a Wraith. The glass of the cockpit took the hit. Then a Chieftain climbed on the Drive and he broke the glass of the cockpit and threw Dan out. He got up and he tackled the ape to the floor, another climbed on and he hit him with his gravity hammer.
“We can’t let you live demon.” The ape on the floor said as he was getting up.
“Ok you want to fight I’ll give you one.” he pulled out an energy sword and jumped on one stabbing it in the chest. The other swing the hammer but Dan countered the attack and he hit him on the back of the leg and he stabbed the blade through the ape’s gut. He climbed back on the cockpit but the controls were damaged he tried to do a quick repair but now he was being bombarded by Phantoms and Banshees. One hit him making him fall down but he grabbed on to the ladder refusing to back down.
Suddenly a fleet of Pegasi flew to protect Dan’s attempt to destroy the ships. As he got in the controls the corvettes were now over them and on charged its ejector beam at them. He heard a charging sound and out of nowhere a Mac blast hit the corvette causing it to fall sideways he turned to see that the three UNSC Frigates have arrived and approaching the enemy ships. Luna was about to fly up to one but Dan told her that they were allies the UNSC are here to help.
“Luna wait!”
“What do you mean wait three more ships appeared.”
“Those are my ships. The UNSC has arrived.” She looked in the air as she saw smaller ships flying to the remaining
