Chapter 6: Regretful
The excited Torpedo, was ready for school. Today, she was going to fly there herself since her mother's wing was broken.
Torpedo had put on her saddle bag and ran to the door. Before opening it she turned back to her mother, who was resting on her bed.
"Okay, mommy. I'm going to school!" Torpedo flapped her wings happily.
"Alright, don't forget to show off that cutie mark of yours!" The rainbow pony chuckled with a wink.
Torpedo winked back at her and then opened the door. After she closed it, she flew away.
She memorized the way to get there from seeing her mother fly all the time. She twirled and dashed and hovered over clouds just like her mother would. She didn't oftenly see fillies or colts fly to school. But it didn't matter that much.
She looked at Celestia's sunrise. Then back down at the setting of Ponyville. She saw the school house pretty soon. Then she flew towards it. And pretty soon, she was down on the ground.
"TORPEDO!" She heard three fillies shout. "YOU GOT YOUR CUTIE MARK!"
All the fillies and colts heard them and soon started to gather around Torpedo. She didn't enjoy attention that much, like her mother, but it kinda felt good to letnthem know she had gotten a cutie mark.
"What does it represent?" Sweetiebelle asked excitedly.
"It represents my talent is flying!" Torpedo flapped her wings a couple of times.
"How did you get it?" Scootaloo asked.
"Oh, well I'm sure some of you know my mother broke my wing. Well she fell off the edge of our cloud home, so I went after her and left off this golden firework like move, and soon got her back to saftey." Torpedo explained it in the least amount of time she could.
"So what is it exactly?" Applebloom asked.
"Its a wing coming out of the middle of a wheel." Torpedo lifted her flank a little bit.
"COOL!" everypony shouted.
Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon joined the crowd at seeing her cutie mark.
"Silver spoon," Diamond Tiara said. "This pony is definetly going to be popular after she got this cutie mark! So now you know what we have to do?"
"Have to get her to join us instead of the crusaders?" Silver spoon answered.
"Correct." the evil filly laughed.
----------
RRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGG
The bell had rung and all the fillies and colts ran out of the school house.
As Torpedo walked out with the crusaders she heard a calling of her name.
"Torpedo!" Called out Diamond Tiara. "Come here!"
"What do YOU want Diamond Tiara?" Torpedo gave her a nasty look.
"It's nothing bad, I swear!" She smiled.
"Swearing is for suckers!" Torpedo walked away.
"No really! It's nothing bad! Come here!" Diamond Tiara waved her hoof.
Torpedo was suddenly lurred into going to Diamond Tiara. She walked up to her.
"What is it. Make it quick." Torpedo said looking back at her friends.
"I wanted you to know that I heard the crusaders talking about you." Diamond Tiara said.
"Me? Badly or goodly?" Torpedo asked.
"Badly! They said that you were nothing but a nerdy freaky loser!" She said. "They said that you are too fat to fly."
"Your lying! They'd never say that!" The pegasus scolded. "I'm going!
"No! This is all true! Very true. You have a cutie mark and they don't. How do you think they feel about that?"
"Well...I never thought about it that way."
"I can make this easier for you..."
"How?"
"Join us!"
"Me?"
"Yes!"
"Well...okay then..." The sad Torpedo spoke.
"Hey! Torpedo! Where have you been!" Scootaloo found her.
"Go away!" Torpedo said.
"Huh? Torpedo are you okay?" Scootaloo reached her hoof out to her.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" Torpedo said in tears slapping away the filly's hoof. "WHY WOULD YOU WANNA CARE ABOUT A FILLY WHO'S TOO FAT TO FLY!!!!!"
"I never thought you were fat!" Scootaloo said.
"Then ask Diamond Tiara! She knows everything!" The filly said as tears rolled down her eyes.
"What did you tell her, Diamond Tiara?" Scootaloo said.
"She said she heard it for herself. I never said anything!" Diamond Tiara said.
"What? NO, Diamond Tiara said SHE heard it and that I am going to join her!" Torpedo said.
"Oh! So who are you gonna trust! The filly who called you out for being a blank flank before or your best friends since you came here!" Scootaloo said.
Torpedo looked at both of the fillies. She didn't know what desicion to make. Scootaloo was right. They were her friends forever.
"Fine...then don't ever bother talking to either of us ever again." Scootaloo walked away.
Torpedo stared at Scootaloo with tears in her eyes.
"Now, what should we do first best friend?" Diamond Tiara put her hoof around her.
Torpedo dashed away from her. "Leave me alone!"
Torpedo flew away and didn't even stop at the house. She flew straight into Ponyville. She landed right next to Sugarcube Corner. She sat there and cried the whole time. Some ponies would look at her but then just walk away. She was lonely. But she didn't care for going home. Her mom wouldn't come to get her becuase she'd have to fly down to get her and her wing was still broken.
She heard a hopping noise. Then a giggling noise. And she reconized who it was. A pink pony with a fluffy hot pink mane came out hopping. She noticed the crying filly on the ground.
"What's wrong Torpedo. You shouldn't be sad. I don't like it when people are sad. And I don't think you do either. So why aren't you happy. Tell me!" The energetic pony said.
"I-I lost my f-friends." The filly started to calm down.
"Awww nopony should ever have to go through something like that. It's terrible. Beyond terrible. No no! Infinity Terrible!Great big giant terrible! Supercalifragilisticespialidocious terrible! Really REALLY-" Pinkie was cut off.
"ALRIGHT! I get the idea already." The filly turned around.
"The point is that nopony should ever be sad." Pinkie pie said. "I can make you feel better with...a PARTY!!!"
"No, that wont help." Torpedo said. "I just want my friends back!"
The filly then walked away. She kept on walking...and walking...and walking...and walking.
Soon it was nighttime. It was dark and everybody was inside as it rained. All except for Torpedo. She sat in the rain crying. She didn't care now. If anypony came out and saw her crying, it would blend in with the rain. Her mane was wet, her saddlebag was wet, but still...she didn't care. She laid down on the ground and then she fell asleep. Then all of a sudden, it hit her while she was asleep. She remembered that she was mad at her dad. But she had to forgive him. So she had to forgive the Crusaders. But how?
