Chapter 2: Golden filly
Rainbow Dash woke up from her nap. She sighed and threw herself off her bed to get something to eat out of her kitchen. She hadn't gotten any food in a while. All she had was a few apples, carrots, and a cupcake from Sugarcube corner. She grabbed an apple and took a bite. She set down the apple and rested her head on her hoof.
"Just another lonely day." She said after she swallowed.
She then picked up the apple again and took another bite.
She flew slowly back to her bed and lay down. She stared up at the ceiling and ate the rest of the apple. She dropped the core on the ground. Because her house is made of clouds, the core sunk into the clouds and fell. She had no care. She didn't even glanced at the core. Just stared at the ceiling. Until the doorbell rang. She then got up and flew slowly up to the door. She looked out the window. No one was there. Maybe it was a package or mail. She sighed as she opened up the door.
She looked down and saw a bundle. A golden bundle. She looked around. No one was there.
Then she looked back down at the bundle. She heard a little whimper come out of the bundle. It was actually alive. It turned over. It was a sleeping little golden pegasus. Only a foal.
"Wha-" Rainbow Dash said. This reminded her of something. Something that happened a long time ago.
Suddenly, the foal's eyes opened. Two little glistening emerald eyes opened. Then a smile crossed her face.
Rainbow felt happy. It still reminded her of something. She wasn't thinking about that alot right now. She saw a little mint blue bow wrapped around the foal's neck. It had a tag on it with writing on it.
She leaned over and lifted up the tag to see it better. It read:
DEAR RAINBOW DASH
THIS IS TORPEDO. SHE IS A FOAL FROM THE PONYVILLE ORPHANAGE. WE THOUGHT WE COULD MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER IF WE SENT HER TO YOU. YOU CAN RAISE HER AS YOUR OWN. I HOPE THAT YOU LOVE HER.

TWILIGHT SPARKLE, FLUTTERSHY, APPLEJACK, PINKIE PIE, AND RARITY
She set down the tag and smiled at the foal. She smiled back and lifted her hooves up to Rainbow Dash.
"Mumu? U-up?" The foal studdered in a cracky voice.
Rainbow Dash flapped her wings and lifted her back hooves and picked up the filly with her front hooves under her arms.
She held her as a baby and flew back into her house.
Suddenly, Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, and Applejack came out from the sides of the house.
"Do you think it worked?" Fluttershy said.
"If it didn't work I don't think she would'a taken her into her house." Applejack said.
"On the way up her an applecore hit my head!" Pinkie pie said
"That walking on clouds spell never fails." Twilight says. "I'm glad she's feeling better already."
The ponies looked through the window and saw Rainbow Dash. She was sitting on the couch with the little foal.
"Are you hungry, Torpedo." Rainbow said. Thats usually what a caretaker would do first.
Torpedo looked up at her caretaker. Then she flapped her wings a few times.
"Hung-r-ry? T-Torpedo w-want food." She said.
"Alright then." Rainbow Dash flew to her kitchen and grabbed a carrot. She was going to give the foal the carrot but then she thought, shes a foal. She probably dosent have teeth. She blended the carrot up. She put the carrot mush on a plate and set it in front of Torpedo. Torpedo gobbled up the food. Rainbow Dash watched her with a smile.
Torpedo yawned and lay down. Rainbow Dash picked her up and rocked her. She then remembered something. She decided to tell the foal in her arms.
"You know, you make me think of someone." Rainbow Dash said. "My Daddy. He loved me a lot. He called me His little Dashie. But sadly, he's far away. Really far, that searching all of Equestria, still wont find him. I had to leave him a long time ago. I didn't want to but I had to. He told me that I wasn't like him. When I found out that I wasn't from his world I felt kinda angry. But I had to forgive him, you know? I'm sure he still knows that no matter how far we are, we're still together. I left a note for him. I hope he read it. I also left him one of my feathers and that with Celestia's permission he can keep all of our memories together. I love him so much."
She noticed the little foal had fallen asleep in her hooves. She smiled and set the foal on the couch. She wrapped her hoove around her and fell along with her.
The ponies watching through the window smiled and quietly awwww'd.
"She's so happy." Rarity smiled. "This is the best day for her ever."
"Well, we should let them sleep." Twilight said.
They all got in the hot air balloon and flew away. They stared down at the cloud made home and smiled.
"Now she just started a new part of her life." Applejack said.
