A few day's ago Cruiser signelled me a warning, i took that in condsideration and keept my eye on him, (now whos watching your every move) I also was weary of fluttershy's comment about being carefull.
Another day went past in Cloudsdale Jr and Cruiser once again gave me a speach, but this speach was something that would hold a treasure that gave me my own identity. "Oi Rainbow, you think your little threat back there was tough well how 'bout you prove me your strength" Thoughts whizzed through my head I don't want to worry Fluttershy more than I already did, but I'm being careful I stood in silence for a few seconds and replied simply "Hmmm nah i'll pass" Cruiser's eyes widened and he shifter closer to me, he got up right into my face and said "No...No pony says No to cruiser!" I then once again questioned the offer he was so kindly advertising me, what would I achieve? my cutie mark maybe for beating a bully...nah but what could i lose...nothing so with that in mind I turned to him and gave him my final answer "Fine, this time next week;prove to me you're a worthy challenge" Cruiser gave me the attitude "hmph" with a quick remark "Sure will be my pleasure to beat a scamp like you" He smirked and stormed off knocking me slightly.
From that moment I started my training for my challenge that awaited me. Not only is this a chance to practice my flying skills it will prove im worthy for being a wonderbolt member. Whilst in flight completeing the Course spitfire flew past me she yelled "Hey Rainbow sick moved" YES i'm impressing her I replied swiftly so it wasn't obviouse that was excatly what i wanted to hear "Cheers,been working hard on it" She giggled and winked at me "keep it up then" and went on her way, Over time my wings began to improve. Just in time, the Rainbow VS Cruiser challenge was approaching fast, I had almost perfected my routine I just hope i don't mess up i would be a laughing stock for the rest of my life. After my intense training I went home to rest up before the resting i had to show my parents my moves they were really impressed they were delighted to see their little Rainbow finaly taking on the skies. My father messed my mane up and said in an exciting maner "Good job sport, your well on your way to being a wonderbolt" I couldn't help but smile,I've got the support of so many, especialy my mother, she never got the chance to be a wonderbolt because of me, although it's hardly either one of us' fault thing's like that happened, now i'm living my mothers dream, and I will impress her by winning this battle of the pegausi and become a wonderbolt member.
A week went by and it was time to put together a show for the ponys. fluttershy was sitting on a cloud right up front to watch my moves she was delighted how far i've come and she didn't want to miss it strange considering she hates fights and she isn't too good at flying either. Cruiser stepped into the arena looking quick and sharp he stared at me, I looked back at him we nodded as a sign of respect to who ever wins (although i hate him it's just a nice thing to do) but i plan to not lose. Soarin started the count down and explained the rules, "Are you ready? Are you steady? GO GO GO" and it began Cruiser soared to the sky and did 3 corkscrews into a tail loop he plumeted back down and went around the whole stadium at lightening speed going higher and higher making a tornado form, it was a brilliant act, mine was simple but i had tips from professional so i was bond to be good. The judge's showed there marks 18/20 that's close I need 19 to beat him...i said under my breath "here we go, wings don't fail me" I did 2 loop the loops into a corkscrew I went into the sky and spun round 3 times all of a sudden my wings stopped and i started falling, i changed it into a tick, i put my hoves straight and a ball of air surrounded my front, my eyes watered from the force that was pulling me down, i went super sonic speed and fluttershy fell off of cloudsdale somewhere into the unknown.
As the fource pulled me down the energy that was created went to the back and then it happened a ball of light, rainbow colours spilled from the back into an awesome explosion i spun around again and did one loop the loop up wards and entered the stadium in the middle of the rainbow explosion I created, I called it the sonic Rainboom.
The judges were gobsmacked silence filled the stadium then all of a sudden screams and cheers filled the air, it was an amazing experience i recieved 20/20 It was brilliant, Cruiser came up to me and shaked my hoof and said "Dude that was fricking awesome,were did that come from, I need tips sport cya around yeah, you deserved that score" I was so proud even Cruiser was astonished by what had just happened. To be honest I couldn't believe it either what the hell was that and how did i do it.
I couldn't believe over this amount of time from crying and complaing about my stupid non working wigs to be flying the loop the loops and doing sonic rainbooms I couldn't of done it with out mother and father and of course my wonderboltz insperation.
I looked down at my side and found a mark I looked closely at it, It was my cutie mark I earned My cutie mark, it was awesome a cloud with a rainbow lightening bolt...and from that day on I was known as Rainbow Dash and that was how I earned my stripes....on my cutie mark that is.
