Chapter Nineteen: Evil Father and Son
Silent Wind's hidden blade clashed with one of Void's blades that had growed out of his body. Silent Wind sheathed his hidden blades inside his bracers. And breathed heavily and breathed out with a large blowing of wind that was strong enough to slightly push Void back. Void jumped at Silent Wind and Silent Wind reacted at his father and jumped at him too. Silent Wind drew one of his hidden blades and was about to thrust it at his father but it was shortly stopped by another grown blade out of Void. Silent Wind had his left arm parried and was pushing against the steel blade that had came out of Void's body. Silent Wind's eyes went wide as he saw multiple blades come out of his father's body and were all pointed at him. Silent Wind quickly jumped back and floated in the air with only small cuts to his cheeks and forehead, nearly being skewered alive. Silent Wind took a moment to closely look at his father, He then remembered how his father never liked talking formally and he surely never was that good with his ability to grow blades out of his body. Silent Wind wiped his cheek that had blood on it and glared at his father with his red and black Shade-Silentblade eyes.
"You changed a lot, haven't you?" Silent Wind said, sheathing back his left hidden blade into his white, leather bracer.
Void brought back his grown-out blades back into his body. He looked at his shoulder and rubbed his shoulder with right hoof and took off his helmet and threw it aside, Silent Wind began to feel ominous and suspicious, he did not know if it was truly his father but he decided to shrug it off. Void lowered his right hoof and looked at Silent Wind with white and black eyes.
"Indeed I have. I know that you have the power of shade inside of you but that makes no difference, once I take Shade from you, everypony shall know my meaning of Peace." Void said, drawing a blade from his hoofwrist and forming it into a sickle-like form and pointing his bladed hoof at Silent Wind. Silent Wind's eyes flickered and he made a small energy ball from his hoof and gritted his sharp, pointy teeth in anger.
"Quit acting like... you know what peace is!!" Silent Wind roared, he then threw the energy ball at Void and the ball made a shaking explosion that shook the whole castle. As the smoke cleared, Silent Wind's eyes went wide as he saw that his father had grown blades all over his body which acted as a body protector throughout Void's body. As another attempt to hit him, Silent Wind formed a small wind disc and threw it at Void and emitted a sharp noise. Void raised his left hoof and his horn glowed as he made a small portal and the sharp wind disc flew inside the small portal. The portal then closed. Silent Wind was putted a hoof on his forehead in confusion. Silent Wind surely did not remember his father being this sharp, seeing how his father was usually off guard sometimes.
"Sheesh! Dad is all reflexed and too good. Weird." Silent Wind thought.
"Oh, I think this is yours. Here, catch." Void said, the portal appeared again. Silent Wind saw the wind disc come at him with such velocity that Silent Wind was only able to block it with a force field but in the process, the force field broke and Silent Wind flew back into the wall and made a small crack on the wall and fell on the ground with his four hooves. He heard a small glowing noise and looked down, he saw that there were now light blue markings on the round-circle floor, he turned his head to his right and saw that the thrones and pillars were all being lowered into the ground. Void's horn glew and he shot a energy ray at the roof and the roof became completely demolished, allowing the pouring rain to come in the throne room. Silent Wind nearly lost his balance as he felt the ground rise up higher and higher until it stopped. Silent Wind looked down and saw the ends of the ground down were not rising which meant the whole throne room ground wasn't rising. He around and saw that the ground was a tower. A very long tower.
"Hey, what the buck is with this?!" Silent Wind said, confused.
Void did not respond, he raised his right hoof and smiled. His horn began to glow once again and then, a small glow surrounded his raised hoof. Void then slammed down his raised hoof and a large barrier surrounded the two and the ground, preventing anypony from interfering or running away. Silent Wind raised an eyebrow at the markings all over the floor while shaking his head to dry his white hair from his form and licked his long, sharp teeth.
"What's with the markings..?" Silent Wind questioned at Void.
Void chuckled as he heard the question by Silent Wind. Void thought that Silent Wind would understand that the markings were going to be used as a soul seal to take Shade.
"Very simple really, The markings.. will be the key to take Shade out of you but you'll have to stay still and be hurt critically so it seems that I must break you." Void said. Void then grew out two blades out of his hoofwrists and flew at Silent Wind. Silent Wind responded to his charge by drawing both of his hidden blades and flying at his father also. Silent Wind pulled his left arm back and swung his hidden blade at Void's neck but Void ducked down only to see Silent Wind's back left foreleg come up and hit him in the face and propelling him toward the barrier walls, Void soon fell down to the ground, getting up slightly. Silent Wind chuckled in delight, seeing that he laid a hit. Silent Wind flew up the highest he could get and quickly pulled back his wings and flapped them at Void, causing a wind blast on Void and pushing him back into the ground. Silent Wind sheathed his blades back into his bracers and landed on the ground.
"Whew.. now time to end it." Silent Wind said, raising a hoof and pointing it at his father as he was about to cast a energy ray at him. But all the sudden, he felt multiple sharp pains on his chest. He looked to his right and saw his father, hit him with his forearm that had small, but sharp bear claw blades that were now into his flesh. Silent Wind coughed out trickles of blood as he was thrown back and now on the ground, laying on his back. Silent Wind saw that his chest had four clawed wounds. It was serious damage to him but he soon recovered as regeneration factor healed him. But, Void gave him no time to retaliate and rammed him with two blades on his head which impaled Silent Wind's lower torso, causing him to cough out even more blood. Void then took out the blades from Silent Wind's stomach and hopped back, bringing back his horn blades inside of him. Silent Wind shakingly rised up as he looked at his father but eventually, he manages to stand up, with all of his wounds gone.
"Geez.. he's now moving really well.. gah.. who cares how he moves like, I can't lose this!!" Silent Wind charged at Void with a roar. Void smiled, showing the determination of putting Silent Wind to the point of death.

Twilight and Shining Armor who were still amazed by how the rain was still pouring, had finally got to the end of the mountain range. Which was just a dead end, but Shining Armor had already gone through the range and putted his left hoof on Twilight's shoulder and Twilight saw Shining Armor's horn glow. Twilight soon saw herself and her brother in front of Castle which was of course, the Silentblade Castle. Shining Armor walked toward the two dead Silentblades and putted his hoof on one's neck and did the same thing to the other. Shining Armor looked at Twilight and shooked his head, indicating that they were dead.
"Okay then, does that mean we're safe?" Twilight asked.
Shining Armor gave a quick nod and looked toward the entrance behind him. Shining Armor gave a small hoof gesture at Twilight, showing Twilight to follow him. Shining Armor impatiently walked fast and Twilight ran toward the entrance, quickly wanting to get in to get out of the cold rain and to also find Silent Wind. Once the two were inside, Twilight brought down her hood down and shook her head softly. Shining Armor and Twilight walked towards the hallway until they saw a scene of destruction, cracked walls, small trickles of blood on the floor, and a downed Mare that Twilight and Shining Armor who once saw with Silent Wind. Twilight began to run towards Lily Blade, checking if she is fine. Twilight gave a few shakes on Lily Blade's body and Lily Blade's eyes began to slowly open but only had the strength to have half-opened eyes. Lily Blade looked at Twilight and sighed.
"Oh.. looks like.. y'found out where Silent Wind was.. owww.." Lily Blade began to stand up shakingly and rubbed her bleeding head and saw her hoof painted with blood.
"Oh no, you're bleeding! Let me help!" Twilight began to cast a healing spell on Lily Blade's head and the wound on Lily Blade's head began to disappear. Lily Blade thanked Twilight for healing her wound. Meanwhile, Shining Armor saw a large stone wall on the middle hallway which was blocking the way. Shining Armor's horn glew and he shot a large orb at the wall and the wall fell apart into rubble. Shining Armor jumped on the blocks of rubble and looked far away and saw at least three dead Silentblades. He sighed and turned his head at Lily Blade and Twilight.
"Silent Wind must be this way, we have to go. It must be at least 4AM right now." Shining Armor ran on ahead. Lily Blade chuckled and ran toward the middle hallway and Twilight followed. The three hoped that Silent Wind had things done on his hoofs and hope that he hasn't fallen yet.

Silent Wind flew up and blew out a gout of flame from his mouth at his father, but it did nothing to stop him. Void grew a blade out of his body and shot it at Silent Wind's left part of his chest but Silent Wind managed to dodge it but at the last moment, he felt a blunt force at his neck and felt it push him down. Void managed to fly up and hit him down to the ground. Void then began to curl up into a ball while Silent Wind tried to get up from the hard hit he was hit by. Void roared as he stood in a roared position and every blade began to come out throughout his whole body which covered the ground and also hitting Silent Wind multiple times. Void sighed in relief as every blade began to go back within his body. Silent Wind grunted in pain as he was hit in his forelimbs, torso and multiple cuts on his face. He managed to regenerate and heal several wounds before turning back into his normal state, having blue-azure eyes, black mane, and a Silver coat. Silent Wind attempted to get up but fell back down, too damaged to rise up now. Void looked over him with his usual white and black eyes.
"It looks like you can no longer move. This to me, is no surprise. You may have stopped me from opening the portal to the Midnight realm back when you betrayed the Silentblades, but you cannot even stop me from getting you. Now, you're all mine now." Void reached out his hoof out to Silent Wind but all the sudden, a large light comes out from Silent Wind's chest and completely blinded the two.
The light does not lower down but Silent Wind soon sees himself and in some kind of bright and white, clear realm. He soon hears a light noise behind him as if somepony is walking toward him. Silent Wind quickly turns around and sees Void but now, he had azure-blue eyes. Silent Wind pauses and becomes completely confused. Void soon laughs.
"Hey kiddo, how're you doing? I managed to finally get inside your mind and talk with ya." Void said.
Silent Wind's eyes go wide as he hears the personality change completely. He recognizes the voice and bright attitude of his father and grimly smiles but is slightly unsure if it is truly his father or is it just a mimicking joke.
