Chapter 8: 'Hanging' with friends
I got to the farm on time and began helping pick up the baskets and move them out for new ones. We got done in 2 Hours what usually takes them 5. I guess working at the post has built me up quite a lot of muscle. I waved goodbye and began walking towards Rarity's. When I got there I knocked and heard a sing along voice shout out.
"COOOMIIIIIING!"
'She has no idea what she just sounded like does she'
A few moments later the door opened and the white unicorn smiled at me and motioned for me to come in. I walked in and took a seat on the couch and she walked over there and stared at me, after a moment she rolled her eyes.
"Well?"
I was confused. "Well what?"
"Take off your clothes so I can work on them!"
I blushed brightly before saying, "Uh... Rarity, is there any way I could give you the clothes and stay... you know... in a private room?"
She narrowed her eyes. "What ever for dear?"
I rolled my eyes and whispered into her ear, and her face went deep crimson as she sputtered out, "O-O-Oh.. y-yes, come over to the b-bathroom and hand me your clothes t-then..." I nodded and followed her to her bathroom.
I stepped in, closed the door, removed all my clothes and got a tower which I wrapped around my waist. I opened the door and stepped out and handed the clothes to Rarity who picked them up magically.
"Oh, and be a dear and take a shower, you seem like you need one."
I gave her a look but then smiled and agreed... It has been a WHILE since my last shower, I turned to go into the bathroom where my towel got caught on the handle and pulled off, without thinking, I turned around and picked up the towel, and looked up after hearing an "Eeep!" and saw Rarity standing there blushing.
"OH SHIT"
I dove into the bathroom and slammed the door and waited for a moment to think of how I should go about what just happened. Then I heard an embarrassed Rarity on the other side.
"Oh....my....w-well then... I g-guess I-I'll just be...u-um..... uh....the..uh...CLOTHES! Y-Yes the clothes, I...uh...bye!"
I heard her gallop away from the door while I sat there thinking to myself, no good can come from this at all.

After an awkward conversation with Rarity and getting my clothes back I decided to go and sit down and relax. I headed over to sugarcube corner where a huge lineup was going out the door onto the road. I walked up and went past everyone getting a few angry stares from a few but after telling them I was just going to sit at a table they just smiled and stopped paying attention to me.
I sat down at a table and pulled out my I-Pod and put it on shuffle, put in one earphone and sat there, waiting for something to happen that I know will and break me out of my relaxed mode. But nothing ever did. The only thing that bugged me was the stares from other ponies and some mumbling from a few of them that went something like this.
"Yup, she saw EVERYTHING"
"Humans apparently are a lot different than ponies"
"Ya... I heard that he is a foot big!" I snapped my attention to the crowd after that one and everything fell silent.
'Oh... what an interesting day this will be...'
