I sat there staring at the other pony in the other control room chair…
It’s so weird, but I could’ve sworn she was older earlier?
She finally stops staring at the front screen and turns her head right to stare at me, widens her red eyes and squeakily says, “So, this is where you work?”
“Um, yeah! I’m not really sure how I got here, but life has pretty much always been this way for me! Uh, there’s a coffee maker in the back… “I stare at her intently as I’m really not sure how to ask this? “Why did they keep you locked up in a straight jacket?”
Her face comes alive again!”Oh, that! Yeah, when you start talking about how awful other ponies are and how you really shouldn’t be around any of them, they don’t normally like you around!” she frowns, “Well, not usually?”and stares at me intently, “You mentioned a coffee maker?”
Once again, I pause as I’m not sure how to ask the next question either? “How did you get free from the jacket?”
Her eyes once again widen and I can already tell I’ll need to get used to that! She squeaks, “I have no idea!”
I frown, “What? What do you mean, you have no idea? You were in a straight jacket this morning, and now you’re not! What changed?”
She frowns tentatively, “How would I know?”
I stare at this strange filly in silence… “Well, you were there, right?”
Her eyes widen! “Um, yeah!” and she nods, “I definitely was there alright! I had on a straight jacket and everything! Well, I did earlier!” her eyes normalize. “Now I don’t!”
I frown harder… “Okay, see if you can follow me here!”I wave my hoof around. “This morning, you had on a straight jacket, yes? Correct? And uh, now you’re not in said straight jacket! How did you get out?”
She jitters as she replies, “I don’t know!”
I’m silent again as I stare blankly at the wall behind her in thought… I then turn back down to stare at her, “Well, what do you know?”
Her eyes widen, “Well, this morning, when I woke up, I was in a straight jacket!”
I nod, “This is true!”
“Okay, and uh, well, one moment I was in the jacket, and the next, I wasn’t!”
I’m silent again as I’m not really sure what to make of that? I adjust my view to her, “So, the jacket just what then? Poofed out of existence?”
Her crimson eyes widen again, “Uh, yup! Pretty much!”
I’m silent once more… “And now, you’re not in a jacket?”
She throws her forehooves in the air and flails them, “Nope! I’m free now! I can wander the halls again! Yay!” … I’m trying not to grin, but she is kinda cute right now…
And I suddenly frown when I think about this… It’s so strange, but she seemed bigger earlier… And older… I’m pretty sure of this? I decide to ask her, “Uh, what should I call you?”
“Oh! Call me Wendy! Uh, what’s your name?”
I frown when I suddenly can’t think of anything to say to her! “I don’t know?”
She frowns too, “What? What do you mean, you don’t know? I mean, you got a name, right?”
“Uh, yes! I mean, I think so? I uh, I’m actually not sure?” As I frown and bring my eyes to the ceiling as I try to remember the last time somepony asked me my name?
She blinks her eyes, “Well, I can’t just call you nameless pony during our relationship, can I? Uh,” her eyes widen again, “what do you wanna be called?”
I stare at her intently and I’m not sure what comes over me? “You will now refer to me by the name of, Betty!”* I nod, “Yes! Betty! Call me that!”*
Her mouth straightens and eyes widen, “Oh! A mare’s name!” and smiles, “I like it!”
She likes it? What? “So Wendy! Uh, what do you do?”
“Oh!” She perks up!” Well, before they locked me up, I liked to play and do fun stuff!”
I frown… “Fun stuff?”
She happily nods, “Oh, yeah! I liked to play, and goof around, and watch movies with the other!”
“The other?”
Her eyes widen, “Yeah! Our partner! Uh, “she frowns as if a sudden realization just hit her… “That would be Misty now, right? Uh,” she looks down… “I wasn’t very friendly back there, was I? Um, sorry… “and she brings her gaze towards the floor…
I frown harder as I have no idea what she’s talking about? “Uh, I guess not, no? Um, why do you keep getting younger?”
She raises her head to gaze at me with wide, albeit smaller red eyes, and says in a now squeakier voice, “Uh, what do you mean? I’m a filly! I’ve always been a filly!”
I cringe at this as I really don’t know what to make of it? “NO! No you haven’t been! You were older earlier!”
She frowns and pauses for a moment… “Are you sure about that?”
“Yes!”
Her tiny eyes widen and I see freckles beginning to form on her cheeks as she squeaks, “I was? Oh, wow! And now, I’m a filly! Hooray!” and flails her forehooves in the air again!
I frown really really hard before deciding that I want another cup of coffee!

As I stared at the green unicorn, with her crazy curly mop of a red mane, I see her smile at me and beam with her cute freckled cheeks as she says, “So uh, we snuggled for about two hours!”
I smile as I feel a shift within me and say, “Yup! We sure did!”
Her eyes narrow, “After Opaline caught us having sex!”
I nod, “Yup!”
She frowns and looks to the side, “I still have no idea what I’m going to say to her or if I ever want to see her again?”
“Well, she’s reformed now and having touch with you will remind her of her obligation to be good! Talking to you is probably a good thing, as it will help her move past her old ways!” I say before frowning as I’m really not sure where that came from?
Her face normalizes and she turns to face me, “Well, that’s probably true? Still, we don’t know when she’ll show up?”
I stare blankly at the wall as it just feels like Opaline will show up now…
Misty notices and asks her, “Uh, what are you doing Izzy?”
I shake my head and stare at her, “Sorry! It just suddenly felt like Opaline should show up or something?”**
She frowns, “Are you okay, Izzy?”
I look at her, widen my eyes, and happily reply, “Never better! Why?”
She stops for a moment… “Well uh, what should we do in the meantime?”
I frown as well, “Live our lives, silly! I mean, what else would we do? She’ll be back eventually, and we can just deal with it then! Until that point, don’t worry about it!” and then I smile back at her. “Just choose to be happy, y’know? There’s really no point in getting bummed out about something that hasn’t happened yet!”
She smiles back, “Um, y-yeah, I guess you’re right?” before staring off to the side…
I stare at her intently, “Or we could just have sex again?”
She turns to me and widens her eyes and frowns, “But what if Opaline comes back?”
I smile, “It’s fine!” and flit my hoof in the air. “She knows you’re a screamer now! So, if she hears you yelling, she’ll just assume you’re having sex again and won’t come in like she did earlier!”
She cringes and her face blushes!
I lower my hoof to stare at her and smile! “I love you Misty Bear! I’ll go make us lunch!”

I widen my eyes at the suddenly delirious magenta alicorn in her blue parka coat, with the hood over her head, but not quite covering her horn, “What do you mean, you caught Izzy and Misty having sex? You knew they were doing that, right?”
She frowns, “But it was Misty!”
I nod and frantically reply, “Yeah! And she’s with Izzy now, remember?”
She closes her eyes and cringes to the side, “Yeah, but Izzy… Izzy had her snout back there! She was… she was… “
“Giving oral sex to Misty?” I say before frowning.
“EEEEEEEEE!!!!!” She ee’s suddenly and scrunches up her face!
I widen my eyes again and lean forward, “And you obviously don’t wanna think about that!”
“NO!” She emphatically screams while staring back at me with a serious look in her blue eyes!
I nod and continue, “Right! You don’t wanna think about Izzy’s snout deep inside Misty’s backside with her tongue flailing!”
“AAAAAAAHHH!!!!” She screams at me!
I stare at her, “Okay, yes! None of that!”
She stares at me intently, “Stop talking about sex!”
I frown, “Well, this morning, you and I… “
“That’s different!” She emphatically states!
I widen my eyes, “How is that different?”
She nods, “Well, when it’s us, it’s you and me and… “
“Not Misty?” I cut her off.
She nods again, “Yes! That! It’s not that worthless curly filly that used to hang out at my castle!” she states before frowning…
“Worthless?” I repeat her. I frown as well, “She seemed okay to me?”
“I uh,” she shakes her head before staring off to the side, “I need to think about this? She’s not my servant anymore and is apparently sexually active and well… “
“You just have to deal with the changes… “
She adjusts her gaze to me, “What?”
I smile, “Things change all the time! It’s really the only constant in the universe! Misty is another pony now and you just need to adjust to that!”
She stares at me blankly for a moment before saying, “I knew there was a good reason I liked you around!”
I frown again, “You were gonna get rid of me?”
“No! Of course not!” She flits her forehoof in the air. “I mean, maybe the thought had crossed my mind once or twice, but I don’t think I’d ever actually do it!”
I widen my eyes, “You don’t think?”
She stares at me blankly and suddenly frowns as I think she suddenly realized what she just said? She frantically says, “No, Terramore! NO! A thousand times, NO! You’re simply too valuable to be gotten rid of!” while shaking her head!
I smile and giggle as I trot towards her to embrace her in a tight warm hug! “It’s okay Opaline! I love you too!”
“EEP!” She quietly eeps in my hooves and returns the embrace…
“Misty is banging Izzy now and you’re just gonna have to deal with that… “
I feel her cringe in my hooves with her head on my shoulder as she says, “Okay, but we don’t have to talk about it either!”
“Deal!” I quietly say to the other alicorn as I continue holding onto her and chuckle a little bit…
