Dead Squirrel in Equestria

Chapter 5: The Braindead Truth

In the Castle of Friendship, Spike was in the throne room and was asleep on his mini throne with some light snores. The only sound filling the silence was his snores until a door opened.

Out of the door from the hallway, came Starlight Glimmer who had a little concerned expression. Once she used her aura to open the door, she looked around the room and noticed that Spike was asleep in his throne. She galloped toward Spike, still with a concerned expression. After she made it to the sleeping dragon on his throne, she tried to wake him up, calmy. "Uhh, Spike? Spike?"

"Give me... five more minutes." Spike tiredly said with his eyes opening slightly, but his eyelids closed back down.

"Spike, this is important, where is Twilight?" Starlight's words didn't seem to get through his mind, since he was still snoring.

Seeing that she wasn't getting a reaction from him, besides tired snoring, she lifted Spike up with her magical aura by his tail. He was floating upside down by his tail a few inches from his throne. Starlight shook him a little bit with forceful aura, but not violently. Once she started shaking him, he instantly had his eyelids open and was awake.

"Huh, what... what's going on?" Questioned Spike worriedly, not knowing who was lifting him upside down.

Spike then was flipped back to normal and was descended back into the soft cushion of his throne. Once he was set on the cushion, he saw who levitated him. "Starlight?" He said confusingly.

"Sorry Spike, about the rude awakening, but I wanted to know where Twilight was." Starlight said with concern.

"Oh, Twilight said she was going to test something about dimension travel or something like that."

"Dimension travel?"

"Yeah, she said she was going to test a spell that allowed her to travel to other dimensions with her friends and Discord as well. *Yawn* They should be coming back. They said they would be back in thirty minutes." Spike yawned as he shifted into a sleeping position and closed his eyelids, so he could catch more Z's. Starlight however, still had a worried expression.

"What time did they leave the castle?" Starlight asked as she turned her head and looked at a clock in the room.

"*Yawn* 11:20, why are you asking?" Starlight's expression became more concerned when Spike mentioned the time Twilight and her friends departed.

"Because it's 1:06." Spike's eyes shot up wide in surprise and revealed tiny dots for eyes.

"What?" Spike instantly sat up and looked at the clock in the room and it did in fact, show that it was 1 o'clock. "They been gone for almost two hours?!"

"Yeah, they have been and I'm a little worried." Starlight's voice had more concern taking over.

"No need to panic, I'm pretty sure that Twilight and the others are just... ummm... caught up in... umm..." Spike tried to think of an excuse, but there was doubt in it.

"Spike, I-I-I think they might of..." Starlight shuddered at the thought that her friends ended up in a different dimension and are lost in it.

Spike knew what she was saying and denied that possibility. "No! I'm pretty sure that they just forgot to come back." However, he was sweating a bit.

"I don't know, Spike, but we have to find out if they are okay or not." Starlight turned around to face the door, so she could leave.

Spike jumped down from his throne with a concerned expression on his face. "Y-yeah, we should check it out."

As Spike and Starlight were about to head out the door, they heard a poof sound and saw a quick flash of white. Once the white light flashed, they saw the Mane 6 (minus Twilight), Discord, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

"-el about-" Squirrel paused when he realized that his eye were seeing a completely different sight, compared to the view that he previously saw. "-teleporting." His eye was a tiny dot and was trying to comprehend that he was teleported and experienced it for the first time in real life.

"Sorry, were you saying something?" Discord asked Squirrel with a bit of sarcasm.

"Girls! You're okay!" Starlight and Spike rushed toward them and they had a huge relief, not knowing or caring on who Discord was talking to.

"Uhh, why wouldn't we be, sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"Because you were gone for almost two hours. Twilight said that you should be back in half an hou-" Spike stopped announcing his concerns when he realized that Twilight wasn't with her friends. "Wait, where's Twilight?" Spike asked in complete panic, clearly worried about her Alicorn sibling.

"Don't worry, my Spikey-wikey." Rarity softly laid a hoof on the top of Spike's scaly head as she reassured him, which made him relax and blush a little bit from her sudden touch. "Twilight is just easing down the town from the panic that was arising throughout town." Starlight had a bit of relief in her head, but she also had confusion as well.

"Why is Twilight calming down the town?" Starlight asked, confused on what Rarity was talking about.

"Oh, well there was a threat in Ponyville, but it was a terrible misunderstanding." Fluttershy informed.

"Threat?" More confusion slowly took over Starlight's mind and was showing on her face.

"Yeah, we thought it would be a big, scary, mean old monster, but the monster is small and isn't a meanie at all." Pinkie said happily.

"Yeah, we took care if it, no problem." Rainbow assured.

"Oh, that's a relief." Starlight said to herself, calming down from the panic and confusion that was in her head. Spike however, would make her confusion and panic spike (Haha, get it?) when he got the answer to his question.

"Wait, so what was the threat?"

"Oh, well..." Applejack paused, not knowing how to tell them.

"Actually, I think it is best if we show you." Discord said.

"What?" Starlight confusingly uttered.

Discord moved to the side and when he was away from his previous spot, Starlight and Spike laid their eyes on a Squirrel that was behind Discord. However, this Squirrel had an exposed brain and was looking at them.

Their eyes were small and they had shocked expressions written over their face. Their jaws were dropped as well, meaning that they couldn't get any words out of their throat at all.

A few seconds passed and Starlight and Spike said nothing, until eventually Rainbow checked on them out of concern.

"Uhh, are you guys okay?" Rainbow asked, noticing their shocked faces.

"Are we okay!?" Starlight exclaimed as she had her left eyelid twitch. "Y-you b-brought a Squirrel with its brain exposed, how can we be okay!?" She then stopped after she finished her sentence when she realized that Twilight's friends were showing her the threat of Ponyville, face to face.

"Wait, did you say this is the threat that was in Ponyville?"

"Umm... yeah." Applejack reluctantly answered, not liking what might happen next when she answered Starlight's question.

"T-then why did you bring it here?" It almost sounded like Starlight lost her voice.

"Hey, I have a name, I'm not an 'it,' ok?" Squirrel informed, offended by Starlight's concerns.

Instantly, Spike's and Starlight's expression filled with more shock.

"It talked!?" Spike exclaimed in pure astonishment.

"Oh yeah, we forgot to mention that Squirrely talks. Isn't it fun!? Now we know how Fluttershy feels." Pinkie said with excitement.

"Y-yes, but also... how can it... what!?" Spike replied, who still had tiny dots for eyes.

"Well, now you know, surprise!"

"Discord, this isn't one of your chaos tricks, is it?" Starlight asked, while a little bit of worry was displayed in her voice.

"I appreciate that you think I would do a trick like this, Starlight. However, this isn't my doing, unfortunately." Discord confirmed.

"But how can this be possible!? This can't be possible! This shouldn't be possible!"

"Geez, I can tell that Twilight taught her too well." Rainbow muttered to Applejack in a teasing tone and smile. Applejack had a deadpan expression that just read "really?" Rainbow's smug smile dropped and was replaced with a confused face. "What?"

"Well, the thing is that we don't know ourselves." Rarity casually informed.

"Yeah, we don't know how to expose his mind!" Pinkie said.

*Ba-doom ching*

A few drum noises were made, which caught everyone's attention. They saw that it was Discord who made it with his drum set and drum sticks that he summoned, however it disappeared. "Someone had to do it." He said with no regrets.

"Anyways... we should be askin' it some questio-"

"*Ahem*" Squirrel cleared his throat, interrupting Applejack, who had an annoyed look.

"*Sigh* Ah meant, we should be askin' Squirrel some questions, while we wait for Twahlight." Squirrel had a pleased look, but was replaced with a curious one when Starlight asked a question.

"Alright, but how can we trust him?" Starlight looked at Squirrel with a glare of suspicion.

"Because I didn't hurt anyone. Even though I look scary, it doesn't mean I'm a 'monster' lurking around 'Ponyville.'"

Starlight narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"He's the tellin' the truth, Starlight." Applejack confirmed.

"*Sigh* If you're saying he's good... then I believe you." Starlight said with a smile, which made Applejack smiled back at her.

"Sooo... are you some kind of... good Zombie?" Spike asked awkwardly

"Yes, I am." Squirrel answered casually.

"Really?" Spike's awkwardness was slowly being replaced with curiosity.

"Yep."

"That is cool, but also really creepy, but still cool."

"While I feel the same way, how's that possible?" Starlight's curiosity asked.

"Well... that's hard to explain." Squirrel said.

"What do ya mean?" Asked Apple Bloom.

"Wellll..." Squirrel paused for a few seconds and didn't respond. ".. nevermind. You wouldn't believe me." He mumbled that last sentence to himself.

"What!?" Rainbow questioned as she couldn't quite hear him.

"Nothing." Rainbow narrowed her eyes at his reply.

"Sugarcube, tell us what ya said." Applejack said in a little bit of a demanding tone.

"And why the heck should I?" Squirrel was starting to get a little defensive.

"Because how can we trust you, if ya not honest with us." Applejack replied in a assertive tone.

"Yeah." Apple Bloom agreed.

Squirrel was about to snap back, but mentally paused. He could just deny it, but then they would keep asking again and again and again and again, non stop. Then again, they would probably ask more and more questions and stop trusting him, if he told the truth that he was a Human. He kept arguing in his head and came to the conclusion to his decision.

"*Sigh* Alright, I-I'm... going to... tell you... the truth." He hesitated, not sure on what's going to happen.

Everyone had their focus on him and waited for him to respond.

'No response, they're fucking serious.' He thought observingly. 'Ok, time to fucking to do this shit.'

"Ok... the truth is... that... t-that... I'm... I'm..."

"You're what!?" Scootaloo slightly demanded, stopping Squirrel from trying to get his words out.

He took a few seconds and then proceeded to finish his sentence. "...I'm... a... human." He mumbled, feeling actually nervous.

"What!?" Rainbow questioned, not hearing the rodent's low mumble.

"What did you say?" Starlight interrogated, curious about what Squirrel mumbled, that she didn't quite hear.

"I... s-said... I'm... I'm... I'm..." Squirrel struggled, which made Rainbow lose her patience.

"Can you quit stalling already!?" Rainbow growled. That made Squirrel snap back and yell as a response.

"Fine! The truth is that I'm a human! There, happy!?"

This made everybody had a shocked expression. They didn't believe what he had said, at first. Spike asked a question, while he was still in a state of shock.

"Wait, did you just say that you were-"

"Yes!" Squirrel rudely interrupted.

Starlight opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out. However, she had many questions that she needed answered. How did this Squirrel know about the Hu-mins that Twilight talked about? How did a Squirrel like him turned into one? How is that possible? Before she could think of more questions that needed to be answered, Rainbow denied this possibility.

"I-I don't believe you!" She doubted as she stuttered with shock still in her voice.

"Yeah!" Scootaloo agreed with her sisterly idol. "But, uhh... what's a Hu-min?" She asked the other Cutie Mark Crusaders with a confused tone.

"I don't know." Sweetie Belle said.

"Ah don't know as well." Apple Bloom added.

Applejack heard their confused huddle and reassured them in a whisper, even though she was still in a state of shock. "Ah'll tell ya girls later."

"Y-you're a H-Human?" Spike stammered out, not being able to process what he had heard from the rodent.

"Yes! I just said that!" Squirrel said in annoyance.

"I... don't know if I could believe that."

"Yeah, I don't believe it as well." Rainbow agreed.

Everypony had their doubts and didn't believe Squirrel was telling the truth, except Applejack who had her narrowed eyes on Squirrel, studying him to see if he was telling the truth.

"Hey! I told the truth and said that it sounded too crazy for you guys to believe." Squirrel said with a little firm tone. "So don't say I didn't warn you."

"B-but how can that possibly happen?" Rarity asked with a stammer.

"Yeah, how can a Human become a Zombie Squirrel? Rainbow asked with suspicion.

'I knew they were going to ask more fucking questions.' Squirrel thought in frustration. Squirrel really didn't want to answer more questions because he was getting tired, hungry, and thristy from all the chasing and shenanigans that he had experienced today. He thought for a few seconds, ignoring the confused, suspicious, and curious stares he was receiving from the Ponies, a Dragon, and a Draconequus. He finally got the idea on what to say and tiredly responded.

"*Sigh* Ok, so to put it simply, I was just relaxing with my friends, you know, just relaxing and playing games with each other. The-"

"Ooh, ooh! What game were you playing with your friends!? Was it a fun game!? Was it a board game!?" Pinkie interrupted in excitement, which made Squirrel form a deadpan expression and mutter a curse to himself. "I don't know why it's called a board game when it's a fun game to pl-"

*Snap*

A zipper appeared on Pinkie's lips and were sealed shut. It was Discord who magically summoned the zipper on her lips. "Sorry about that, carry on." He said, seeing that Squirrel was almost done with this shit.

"Ok... so, as I was saying, I was with my friends when all of a sudden, some kind of beam that looked like lightning came out of no where and took me. Then I wake up and find myself like this-" Squirrel pointed at himself. "-and I'm in Pony town."

"It's Ponyville." Starlight informed.

"Sure whatever."

"Hmmm..." Rainbow narrowed her eyes. "I don't know if I believe that."

"*Sigh* I literally just told you that I would tell you the truth." Squirrel tiredly said.

"I don't know. A random lighting strike just comes out and strikes you, it seems fishy to me." Rainbow turned around and faced toward Applejack. "What do you think Applejack?"

"Ah think he's tellin' the truth y'all." Applejack enlightened.

Everybody had a face of astonishment to see that the information was true. They didn't know how to process it, so they stayed silent for a few seconds.

Starlight was about to break the silence, but the door behind the Mane 6 (minus Twilight) and the Cutie Mark Crusaders sounded like it was being opened slightly.

Everybody turned their heads the door and saw that Twilight was opening the door.

"Hey everyone, I'm back." Twilight said as she peeked her head out of the door, not aware of the information that was in the room. However, she noticed that everyone had a shocked expression. She had a curious expression and was curious on what happened whileshe was busy. "Uhh, what did I miss?"

"Y-you missed a lot, Twahlight... A Lot." Applejack said with shock still on her face.

In the dark Everfree Forest, was just silence, pure silence. The only noise active in the part of the forest was a little bit of wind. Bush leaves and tree leaves were flowing, thanks to the wind. However, there was a noise that was made that wasn't the wind's doing. It sounded like it was footsteps and it was getting louder than the wind's small breeze. Then some rustling came from a bush and what came out wasn't a Pony, Timberwolf, or any other species that lived in Equestria.

What came out of the bush was a figure that appeared to have the shape and physique of a Human man. He pushed the leaves and branches from the center of the bush with his two hands. He went through the opening that he made from the bush and revealed his features in the dim sunlight that the dark trees were making.

The man had a peachy skin tone with black roughed up hair on the top of his head. As well as a hockey mask covering his face with the mask having three red triangles around the mask. The mask also had holes on top of the mask and on the bottom of it. And it appeared to have eye holes for the man to see through with his blue eyes. His clothing choice consisted on have a black t shirt, a blue front open sweater covering the shirt, black hard pants, and as well as some black shoes.

This man was a mysterious figure and was indeed mysterious. However, if you have been on YouTube before, you probably would recognize this hockey masked man as the teddy lover, delirious gamer, and member of the Vanoss Crew. If you don't know his name, he's the one and only: H2O Delirious.

Delirious was walking in a single direction, while he was slouching and looking down at the grass. 'This is taking fucking forever to find a way out of this forest.' He tiredly thought.

He was tired from walking in this forest he was in. He couldn't keep track on how many minutes he was in this forest. He probably reached one hour on being in this forest, maybe even two hours.

He didn't know how the fuck he ended up in this forest or on how he became his avatar. It was fucking insane when he realized that he had become it and was freaking out. He calmed down after many minutes, but he was still amazed, shocked, and curious on how he perfectly transformed into his Delirious avatar, from head to toe.

All Delirious remembered before he passed out was that he was hit by purple lighting. It was weird because he was just playing a of Lethal Company that he was streaming for his fans. All of a sudden, his in game avatar was struck by purple lighting, which confused him, but what happened after the lighting struck him, was weird. His PC's screen went black, he was disconnected from the Discord, and he his recording stopped. After a few seconds of that happening, purple lighting came out of the screen and it looked similar to the one in game. Before he could process what to do, he was hit by the lighting and passed out. And that was all he could remember.

After shaking the things he did before he was in the forest out of his thoughts, Delirious started to talk to himself. "I wonder how many steps before I can find someone or a way out of this fucking forest?...... *Sigh* This is taking forever." He tiredly said to himself, feeling a little bit of sanity draining from being in this dark forest labyrinth.

"This is going to take fucking forever." Feeling his patience almost reaching his limit. Delirious didn't know how long he needed to walk for to get the heck out of the forest, but if he didn't find it in the next minute, he sweared that he was going to-

*Bonk*

"OWW... WHAT THE-" Delirious lifted his head to yell at the thing or person that he had bumped into. However, he stopped trying to shout at the thing he bumped into when he realized what exactly what it was.

He laid his eyes on a yellow steel railing connected on a steel joist floor that was connected to a big metal gray box. It was a few feet up and was not touching the ground, which meant that Delirious hit his head on the factory flooring.

"-fuckkkkk..." He finished his sentence in confusion, not knowing what to say. He was in a trance, not knowing what to do. After a few seconds of confused thinking, he finally made a decision and to see what the fuck he had bumped into.

Delirious slowly inspected the big metal box by going to the right side of it. He noticed that there was a yellow steel ladder that allowed him to climb up and walk on the factory floor.

"Wait." Delirious muttered to himself as he realized that this metal box felt familiar to him. He reluctantly climbed up the ladder and was standing on the steel joist flooring. Instantly, he had noticed that there was another ladder, but this one led to the top of the metal box.

Not wanting to waste any more time to see why this box was familiar to him, Delirious climbed up the second ladder and was on top. He looked around and noticed that there was an antenna and was shocked to see it. This box was suddenly becoming more familiar to him.

"But it- but it can't be." Delirious talked to himself, not sure if he should believe whatever he was seeing right now. He stood on the top of the box for a few seconds as he turned his head toward the things that we also on the top of it. He had one more thing to check if this box was really what he thought it was.

Delirious turned to his right and swiftly ran toward the edge of the box's roof. Once he made it to the edge, he dropped down and landed his feet on the joist floor. And he turned around, looked behind himself and what he saw confirmed that this wasn't a box, It was a space ship.

What Delirious saw was the entrance to the inside of the ship and he couldn't believe what he saw. There was a big red cabinet, some screens at the end of the ship, and other stuff that he couldn't believe that he was seeing was seeing in front of his eyes.

"No... fucking... way..." Delirious muttered in astonishment as he confirmed that this was indeed what he thought it was.
