Both Danger and Viral were a bit perplexed at how Callie had gotten pole and the race win at Velocity City, they thought that the Liberty University-liveried Ferraris where the ingredients needed to win races, even Danger realised that the Ross Chastain tactic of riding the wall doesn’t work well with hypercars. Danger put it all behind as he went out on the Starfield Nexus Circuit in Aurora City to prove that he can challenge Callie.

Danger thought that he had the right package to cope against the pace of the Trident liveried Alpine. But as a legend of motorsport, it was the race that mattered and in a 150 mile race like Starfield Nexus Clash on a 14 cornered, 2.47 mile circuit. When the race started, the Valkyrie of Starlight got the jump on both Callie and Danger but on turns 1 and 2, Danger jumped into the lead after overtaking both Callie and Starlight. Viral in the other Liberty University liveried 499P was in 4th, Trixie was 5th, Oscura was 6th, Aria in the SC63 was 7th, Sonic was 8th, Carvalho and Tanaka in 9th and 10th. At turn 12, Callie got overtaken by Starlight was nearly overtaken by Viral but she held onto it and proceed to remain calm for the next 60 laps.
On lap 4, Hailey Banefire had overtaken both Butler and Manic like she was made for Hypercar races and with the LM-GT1s being a bit slower than the Hypercars, Hailey was able to capitalize on that and was now in 14th place with the Corvette of Gabrielle and the Mercedes of Hatsune Soulblitz behind the two-time Equestrian GT Champion, she hoped to make light work of both LM-GT1 cars.
It may be a 61 lap race but the chaos will still manage to find a way to creep onto the drivers without warning. On lap 9, whilst battling with Callie for 2nd place, the rear of Starlight’s Valkyrie was spewing a bit of smoke and by lap 10, it was coming out of the brakes. Starlight was out of the race on lap 11 after pulling into the pits to retire. Callie was now in 2nd with Viral, Oscura and Aria Blaze in the top 5. Danger began to extend his gap to Callie from 2 seconds on lap 13 to 6 seconds by lap 15. Both Liberty University liveried Ferraris had to pit at one point but Danger wanted to make sure he had a good enough gap he would want to risk to lose.
Drama struck again on lap 19 when the Audi of Rayfa Dawnlight made contact with the Valkyrie of Nathan McKane and they both spun at turn 8 nearly collecting the Alpine of Aiden Jackson. As both cars going again, there was no need to deploy the Safety. The bad news was that they were at risk of being lapped by Danger. On lap 22, Callie made a bold dive on Viral as the two had been battling for 2nd since lap 20 both the Ferrari and Alpine were matched on pace but the Ravenwest-liveried Valkyrie of Oscura was homing in on the both.
Then the Safety Car came out on lap 25 after the brakes on Sonic Flash’s Valkyrie stopped working and sent the Valkyrie into the turn 4 tire wall. Sonic was OK but he was running in 9th place. This was good for Callie because as she pitted on lap 23, she was in 4th place, behind both the Liberty University liveried Ferraris and Oscura.
When the Safety Car came back in on lap 30, Danger got a bad reaction time and got passed by both Viral and Callie. Oscura and Aria were in 4th and 5th, Trixie was in 6th as she was hoping to avenge her friend’s DNF, Yume was in 7th, Hailey was in 8th Carvalho in 9th and in 10th place lay the #71 Alpine of Devon Butler which gave the remaining cars a horrific sight. Miraculously, Gabrielle passed Devon on the exit of turn 9.
As the cars began to settle down, there was still a lot of action. Callie had overtaken Viral was now leading the race from Viral and Aria who had overtaken Danger as he was in the pits. The groove was still strong throughout the race and as sunset began to emerge on lap 46, lights began to don the track.
But then…
For the second time, the Safety Car would be deployed on lap 52 as the Seneca-liveried Mercedes-AMG ONE LM-GT1 of Carvalho crashed into the same place in the turn 4 tire wall that Sonic did. Danger, who climbed up to 3rd behind Viral and Callie was ahead of Aria in 4th, Oscura was 5th by the time race restarted on lap 56 for the remaining 6 laps.
Although the Ferraris were challenging the Alpine of Callie, it was to no avail by lap 60 so both Viral and Danger brought the cars home after Callie took her second win. Aria was 4th, Oscura was 5th, Hailey Banefire was 6th, Yume was 7th, Trixie was 8th, Gabrielle in 9th and Manic Speed finished in 10th after starting from 15th place.
