The next Episode begins with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Manon walking through what seemed to be the far edge of Applejack’s home as Applejack led them there only for Apple Bloom to get confused
“Where are you takin’ us?” Apple Bloom asked
“Yeah, it’s getting a little scary right here” Manon agreed
“We’re almost there young’uns” Applejack answered
The three fillies and Manon then got a bit worried
“I’ve never been here before” Sweetie Belle said worriedly
“Same here but then again I wasn’t here for very long” Manon agreed
The four then got to a large plant as Applejack used her head to pull it up to let herself through before Apple Bloom walked through it without stopping as the plant went back a bit and when Apple Bloom was gone Scootaloo ran straight into it causing her to get hit by the plant
“Ow!” Scootaloo called out in pain
Apple Bloom then rushed over to Scootaloo in worry
“Oh, sorry” Apple Bloom apologized
The two then walked off while Scootaloo got more worried
“Are we there yet?” Scootaloo asked
Sweetie Belle who then got to the plant then got confused
“There? Where? What? I don’t even know what we’re doing” Sweetie Belle said
“I agree, I’m getting tired!” Manon agreed
Soon the four had arrived as they noticed Applejack staring at the distance with a big smile
“Here we are” Applejack announced
“What are we lookin’ at?” Apple Bloom asked
“I have no idea” Scootaloo agreed
“What is that thing?” Sweetie Belle asked
The screen then showed the old and barely holding on house in the treetops
“Cutie Mark Crusaders welcome to your new clubhouse” Applejack announced as a piece of the roof then fell off before the screen showed the Cutie Mark Crusaders looking at Applejack unamused while she continued speaking as she walked onto the steps of the clubhouse with the CMC following after her “Well, don’t thank me all at once, this was my clubhouse when I was your age” Soon Applejack was at the top as she turned to her sister and friends “Sure it hasn’t been used in a while but it’s empty and on a secluded private part of the farm and it’s all yours” Applejack explained only for a piece of the ceiling to fall down “It just needs a little uh… TLC” Applejack explained nervously
“TLC as in Tender Loving Care or Totally Lost Cause?” Scootaloo asked angrily
“Applejack! We’re supposed to turn this into our new clubhouse?” Apple Bloom asked in worry and anger
“Well, maybe y’all will get your cutie marks when you discover your talent for…” Applejack started before she pressed her hoof on a piece on the wall causing it to break and her to fall into the clubhouse “Waah!” Applejack called out before landing “Uh… House cleanin’?” Applejack explained while stars floated over her head
[Insert MLP Season 1 intro here]
A few days later Scootaloo was on the streets of Ponyville drawing Twilight Sparkle and Ladybug’s home on a piece of paper before she finished as she nodded with her face reading ‘perfect’ before she rolled up the scroll, picked it up and put it in her saddlebag before she got onto her scooter with her helmet on and rode off on her personal scooter while flapping her tiny wings as she flew so fast that she almost flew like Rainbow as other ponies who felt their manes and tails move a bit turned around to see Scootaloo riding off into the distance as Scootaloo kept riding until she saw a ramp which she then rode on before she did a spin in the air before her scooter landed on the ground perfectly and rode further off as Granny Smith tried to walk through the crossroads until Scootaloo rushed past her making her spin and land on her walking cart of sort
“Soup’s on!” Granny Smith called out raising her hoof in anger
But Scootaloo didn’t listen as she continued to ride off into Sweet Apple Acres where Manon was continuing to put some plants to the side with her bare hands until she saw Scootaloo riding in which made her run after her friend as they leapt over a log and jumped over tree branches which got a bit too long before they soon arrived by the Clubhouse where Apple Bloom was painting the stairs as Scootaloo got dangerously close to Apple Bloom which made her worried right before she stopped in front of her making Apple Bloom sigh in relief and happiness
“Wow! Hi Scootaloo! Back already?” Apple Bloom asked as Scootaloo pulled off her helmet while Apple Bloom took a look at her scooter “You’re amazin’ on that scooter” Apple Bloom said in awe
Manon then ran towards the duo, fully out of breath
“You’re so fast even my legs can’t keep up” Manon said
Apple Bloom then got to a nearby table where she picked up some apple juice and threw it to Manon who catched it before she began drinking
“Thanks!” Scootaloo thanked before she saw that the entire area was a bit cleaner “Wow Apple Bloom, Manon, you did all of this?” Scootaloo asked
“Yep! We’ve fixed the broken shutters, sanded off the splinters, rebuilt the roof, removed a few fully grown plants, painted—” Apple Bloom started
“That’s so cool, what’s Sweetie Belle up to?” Scootaloo asked
The duo then went to a nearby different part of the Clubhouse where Sweetie Belle was dusting a table while singing
“We’re the Cutie Mark Crusaders…” Sweetie Belle sung before humming as she jumped off the table and dusted the chair pieces of the table “...Never stop the journey…” Sweetie Belle sung again before humming once more as she dusted her tail near a tree
The trio then approached Sweetie Belle who was happy to see them
“There you are Sweetie Belle!” Apple Bloom said in relief before turning to Scootaloo and Manon “See? I told you we could find her by following her totally awesome voice” Apple Bloom reminded
The trio then turned to Sweetie Belle nervously
“What’s that sweet tune you’re singing?” Scootaloo asked
“Oh, I was just working on our new Cutie Mark Crusader theme song” Sweetie Belle answered nervously
“Cool!” The trio called out in awe and excitement
“Teach us” Scootaloo pleaded
“Well, I’ve only come up with one part… But okay!” Sweetie Belle said excitedly
And so the trio went into the clubhouse for the first time (Except Apple Bloom was there for the thousandth time) as they began singing until Applejack trotted by to check up on them
[Sweetie Belle:]
They all say that you will get your mark
When the time is really right
[Apple Bloom:]
And you know just what you’re supposed to do
Scootaloo then began singing off tune
“And your talent comes to light!” Scootaloo sang loudly
“Stop!” Manon suddenly called out making the four turn to her as she pointed behind her “We’ve got a visitor” Manon said
The trio then looked at the window and saw Applejack hanging on the railing of the window
“Well uh… I’ll be, Cutie Mark Crusaders, you’ve done one fine job with this place so what’s next?” Applejack asked
“Well, now that we have a real life clubhouse…” Apple Bloom started
“...A map of Ponyville.” Scootaloo started
“...Less overgrown plants…” Manon started
“And a Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song…” Sweetie Belle started
“Theme song?”Applejack asked in shock
“We’re gonna go out in the world and discover our talents” Apple Bloom explained
“A new adventure!” Scootaloo explained
“And earn our Cutie Marks” Sweetie Belle explained
“Or my super strength” Manon explained
“We’ll leave no stone unturned!” Apple Bloom explained
“No mountain unclimbed!” Scootaloo explained
“No meal uncooked!” Sweetie Belle explained
“No hair uncutted!” Manon explained
“No sock unworn!” Apple Bloom explained
"Well, okay then! Sounds like you have a plan, I gotta, uh… Leave no apple unpicked! See y'all later!” Applejack waved
Applejack then left as Scootaloo turned to her friends
“Are we ready to get our Cutie Marks or strength in your case Manon?” Scootaloo asked
“Ready!” The rest called out in excitement as they hoof/high fived
[Insert the Cutie Mark Crusader theme in instrumental here]
The screen then changed to the Sweet Apple Acres barn where the Cutie Mark Crusaders were bringing buckets of pig food into the barn where Scootaloo and Manon dumped the food before Sweetie Belle rang the bell causing her to run to Apple Bloom who opened the gate causing the pigs to run over them as they went to their food while the four could only groan in pain before Manon was tested by Apple Bloom with a doll being thrown making her cry which made the trio shake their heads as Scootaloo brought the doll back to her before Manon’s friends looked at their friends only to see no Cutie Mark there which made Scootaloo scrap it off the list
Afterwards they went to Sugarcube Corner they were making some colored dough as Sweetie Belle could only lick her lips in awe of the tasty colored dough there was they threw it into the mixer and when they did Apple Bloom turned the mixer on as the last few tasty dough was thrown in but when Scootaloo turned around her tail got stuck between the dough which made Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle try and free her only to get stuck as Manon turned around only to see the three stuck between the dough making her rush to thee mixer and turn it off before she used a spatula to free them before she walked them out to bring them to the nearest water source as the trio looked at their flanks only to see they were still empty causing them to sigh in defeat while Manon still thought she wasn’t strong inside making her sigh in defeat too before she scratched Sugarcube Corner off the list
After getting a nice hot shower the four went to Rarity’s Boutique where it was mane week which meant ponies could get their mane cut nicely there for a week as Apple Bloom and Manon began gathering ponies to the Carousel Boutique by ringing a bell in front of a banner and when ponies wanted to they walked inside the Boutique where Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo helped Rarity by making hair gel to change ponies’ manes only for one pony to run out when she was finished as her mane looked a bit like a clown making Scootaloo confused as Manon glared at them before the three looked at their flanks only to see they were still blank while Manon thought bravely only to fail as all four sighed in defeat
Afterwards all four friends went to the fields where they planned on playing a few games with Apple Bloom starting next as Sweetie Belle flipped up a heart making Apple Bloom guess before pressing the circle button causing it to show only for her friends to shake their heads as Sweetie Belle then flipped up a star making Apple Bloom guess before pressing the transparent square making her friends shake their heads again making Apple Bloom confused as afterwards Sweetie Belle puts down a clover making Apple Bloom guess before she had an idea as she pressed all buttons causing a lot of papers to fly out of the device and hit her friends making them angry before Manon thought a bit only to fail while her friends looked at their flanks only to see them still blank causing them to sigh in defeat
Afterwards the trio went to a mountain as they began climbing it while struggling to get to the last stone before they all slipped and fell to the ground but it turned out it was just a small medium rock and not a big one as the fillies checked their flanks with Manon checking her strength only to notice it didn’t work again making them sigh in defeat once more
Afterwards the duo went to the deepest diving lake where they swam until they saw an octopus making them swim as fast as they could to safety
And finally they went to the Golden Oak Library where Twilight, Ladybug and Cheerilee were seen entering the library
“...And that’s how Manon did in school!” Cheerilee said
“Wow! I guess I should keep bringing her” Ladybug said
“Yeah, definitely, I never had such a hyperactive pony I mean human like her but outside of that she listens to the lessons very well despite arguing a few times with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon” Cheerilee said
“Guess they’re still mad about the Cute Céaneara event or however you call it” Ladybug explained
“I agree” Cheerilee said
Just then they entered the room only for them to see Spike turning to them in worry that Twilight and Ladybug would get angry
“I had nothing to do with this” Spike said worriedly
Twilight and Ladybug then noticed the situation as they turned to the source angrily
“What is going on here?” Twilight asked angrily
The screen then flipped over to see the Cutie Mark Crusaders on top of a pile of books reading as Ladybug went to approach them in worry and anger
“And why are you making a mess here?” Ladybug asked
“Hmm… Well, we sure aren’t gettin’ our Cutie Marks for bein’ librarians” Apple Bloom explained thinking
“Huh, I should think not” Spike agreed only for Twilight to turn to him angrily “What?” Spike asked
Ladybug then helped the Cutie Mark Crusaders off of the books
“Come on girls, what your doing is dangerous, next time pick one or two books to read” Ladybug suggested
“Yeah girls, I think you’re going about this the wrong way, instead of trying to do things in areas you’re not familiar with, why not try doing things in areas that you already like?” Twilight suggested
“And I have the perfect place to start” Cheerilee suggested
Cheerilee then grabbed a banner out of her saddlebag which was a flyer for the Ponyville School House Talent Show
“‘Showcase your talents…’” Apple Bloom read
“‘... For all to see’” Scootaloo read
“‘Perform in the Ponyville school talent show’” Sweetie Belle read
“There’ll be all sorts of rewards, best dramatic performance, best comedy act, best magic act… Surely you can find your talent” Cheerilee explained
“This would be the perfect place to discover our talents” Applejack said before she had an idea “Jugglin’!” Apple Bloom called out
“Acting!” Scootaloo called out
“Magic tricks!” Sweetie Belle called out
“Doing impressions!” Manon called out
“Square dancin’!” Apple Bloom called out
“Tightrope walking!” Scootaloo called out
“Tiger taming!” Sweetie Belle called out
“Singing!” Manon called out
“My little ponies! You’re missing the point, think about the things you already enjoy doing, think about what you’re already good at” Twilight suggested
“I agree and besides you don’t want your sisters or parents to be worried, right” Ladybug reminded
“Yeah you’re right!” Manon said
“But we can do safe stuff we promise!” Scootaloo said
“Yeah! Sure we can” Sweetie Belle agreed
“Well, whatever we do, we’ll do it as…” Apple Bloom started
“The Cutie Mark Crusaders!” Her friends joined in
The four then gave a hoof/hand bump
Afterwards the group went to go get a cart and Scootaloo’s scooter before they went to the Carousel Boutique and got some fabric as they rode off again as Rarity rushed out the door
“Sweetie Belle! I told you not to touch my things, come back with my supplies!” Rarity ordered angrily
“We’re just borrowing them for the talent show, don’t worry sis, I promise we’ll bring them back” Sweetie Belle called out
Afterwards the duo went to somepony’s shop and bought some fans which the salespony put in the cart before the four turned to them
“Thanks mr. Breezy, we’ll return the fan to you real soon” Scootaloo thanked
Scootaloo then began riding her scooter with the cart again as Apple Bloom then turned to Sweetie Belle in confusion
“What do we need this fan for?” Apple Bloom asked
“Trust me on this one” Sweetie Belle suggested
After a while the group managed to also get some wooden planks
“Okay, so that’s six wooden planks, four-by-eight plywood, a box of nails, four cans of paint and four brushes, anything else?” Scootaloo asked
“Yeah, instructions on how to use six wooden planks, four-by-eight plywood, a box of nails, four cans of paint and four brushes” Sweetie Belle reminded
“I agree so let’s go get it!” Manon suggested
Apple Bloom then shrugged before Scootaloo shrugged before he rode off to the Golden Oak Library where Twilight, Spike and Ladybug were as Twilight, Spike and Ladybug read what the book said in confusion
“‘Ghosts, Goblins and ghoulish figures?’ Good heavens girls, what do you need a book like this for?” Twilight asked
“Yeah, I don’t get the meaning of this too” Ladybug explained
Spike then put the book into the carriage while Scootaloo turned to Twilight
“You’ll see Twilight, Ladybug!” Scootaloo said as she then stepped on the scooter and rode off while saying “We’ll give it back as soon as we’re done with it” Scootaloo explained
Twilight then turned to Spike and Ladybug in confusion and worry
“What do you think they’re up to?” Twilight asked
“I have no idea and I don’t know if I should be excited or scared to find out” Spike explained
“Same here” Ladybug said in agreement
A few minutes later in the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse the group were talking to each other
“I’m glad we’re doin’ this as a team” Apple Bloom said happily
“Me too” Sweetie Belle said before getting confused “Um… So what are we doing again?” Sweetie Belle asked
“A super awesome dramatic song for the talent show of course” Scootaloo answered
“Right! With super cool scenery” Sweetie Belle answered
“And amazing costumes!” Manon agreed
“And mind-blowin’ dance moves” Apple Bloom explained
“This is gonna be soo amazing!” Scootaloo said excitedly
“I agree, I can already hear the crowd cheering my name, Manon! Manon! Manon!” Manon called out excitedly
Apple Bloom then had an idea as she turned to Sweetie Belle
“Sweetie Belle, I think you should be a singer” Apple Bloom suggested
“What? No way I’m singing in front of a crowd, Twilight said to do something we like to do and I’d like to be like my big sister and she’s a designer” Sweetie Belle explained
“Fine then, you can do the costumes and the scenery” Scootaloo suggested
“Well, I wanna do the same thing as my mom too, kinda, she’s a news anchor so I should be handling the sound effects and such for the song, like song vine booms when shocking stuff happen or whatever” Manon explained
Scootaloo then get worried
“Are you sure? Isn’t that a little dangerous?” Scootaloo asked
“Of course not, I’ve been to many of my mom’s shows when no one could watch over me, due to that I basically know how sounds work for the mics and such” Manon explained
“Very well, then you can be the sound effects handler” Scootaloo said
Apple Bloom then had another idea as she turned to Scootaloo
“And Scootaloo, you’re great in maneuvers on your scooter so you should do the choreography, y’know, all those dance moves” Apple Bloom explained and reminded
Scootaloo then nodded before she realized what she said making her shake her head
“Nah, I’d rather sing a wicked rock ballad, why don’t you come up with the dance routine Apple Bloom” Scootaloo suggested
Apple Bloom then began thinking
“Hmm… I’m not much of a dancer… But I do like Kung-fu, that’s kinda like dancin’” Apple Bloom explained
Apple Bloom then did a bunch of kicks as her friends prepared to dodge before Manon thought for a moment
“I doubt that but if that’s what you wanna do then go ahead” Manon suggested
“Then it’s settled! Let’s get started” Sweetie Belle suggested
The group then rushed off as Sweetie Belle got to her sewing machine as Manon turned to her
“I’ll give you a few tips on how to make dresses” Manon said
“Thanks, I definitely need it, especially for a human just like you” Sweetie Belle said
“Then allow me to be your fit subject” Manon suggested
Meanwhile Apple Bloom went to an old school music plate machine she got from Marinette’s friend Wang Fu as she began trying to do some kicks
“One… Two… Three” Apple Bloom called out
Apple Bloom then began spinning so much she fell onto Scootaloo’s tail which made her turn to Apple Bloom in worry and pain
“Ow, Apple Bloom! What are you doing?” Scootaloo asked
Scootaloo while a bit angry then helped Apple Bloom up and when she was up Apple Bloom began explaining
“Oh, I feel like I have four left hooves, I can’t even spin right” Apple Bloom explained
“Don’t be silly, you just gotta keep your head forward until the very last minute like this” Scootaloo suggested before she jumped onto one hoof and spun rapidly before stopping and went back to Apple Bloom “See? Easy peasy, you just gotta practice a bunch that’s all” Scootaloo suggested
“Wow, that does look easy, thanks” Apple Bloom thanked before she gave a proud grin “Okay, let’s try this again” Apple Bloom said before she began spinning again only to fall onto the table with a grunt as the music box was heard crashing “I’m okay!” Apple Bloom called out
Scootaloo then turned to her nervously
“Keep practicing!” Scootaloo suggested
“Will do” Apple Bloom
After a while Scootaloo managed to figure out the beat as she began strumming on her piano
“We fight the fight, walk the walk, talk the talk, eat the… Uh… Uh… Food like a celery stalk?” Scootaloo before slamming against her piano in disbelief “Ugh! I’ll never come up with anything! Never, never, never!” Scootaloo called out while slamming her head against the piano
Just then a pîece of fabric rolled over the piano as Sweetie Belle and Manon rushed by until Sweetie Belle noticed Scootaloo looking at her in worry while Manon still shouted
“Come back! Come back dumb fabric!” Manon called out
Sweetie Belle then turned to Manon for a moment after the shout before back to Scootaloo
“Hey Scoot! How’s the song going?” Sweetie Belle asked
Scootaloo then scoffed in disbelief and defeat as Sweetie Belle did so too in worry and confusion
“Oh my! Sounds serious” Sweetie Belle said worriedly
“I’m just no good at lyrics, coming up with words is like… Really hard” Scootaloo explained sadly
Sweetie Belle then smiled warmly
“Oh, it can’t be that bad” Sweetie Belle said as she read the lyrics only to see it looking confusing “‘With our Cutie Marks we’ll rock Equestria, we use our stomachs to… Digestia’?” Sweetie Belle read in confusion before she had an idea as she turned to Scootaloo who grinned widely making her worried “Well… These are… Um… Good but… How about after ‘we fight the fight…’” Sweetie Belle started before she began singing “There is nothing that we fear, we’ll have to figure out what we’ll do next ‘till our Cutie Marks are here” Sweetie Belle sang as a suggestion
Scootaloo then gasped in awe
“Wow! That’s so awesome! Did you just come up with that now?” Scootaloo asked in awe
“Yeah… Kind of” Sweetie Belle answered
“Thanks, I’m totally using that” Scootaloo thanked
“No worries” Sweetie Belle said
Just then Manon rushed to Sweetie Belle in worry
“Sweetie Belle! Something terrible just happened!” Manon said in worry
Sweetie Belle then turned to Manon in worry
“What happened?” Sweetie Belle asked
“I kinda, uhh… Didn’t catch the fabric in time” Manon answered
“What do you mean by that?” Sweetie Belle asked before Manon moved to the side causing her and Scootaloo who looked just now to look in shock and worry “Oh no!” Sweetie Belle called out in worry
Sweetie Belle and Manon then rushed to the fabric before Manon pulled out a long clean vine and tied it around two trees allowing Sweetie Belle to cut the fabric and put them on it as Sweetie Belle used the clean ones to sew the hooves on the dress which she then pulled up as she counted
“One, two, three, four, five?!” Sweetie Belle gasped in shock and disbelief before groaning in defeat
“I didn’t know ponies have five hooves” Manon said while laughing
“Not. Funny” Sweetie Belle reminded angrily
“I was just joking Sweetie Belle, don’t worry” Manon said
The two then noticed Apple Bloom approaching while spinning before landing on the ground near Manon and Sweetie Belle
“Ouch!” Manon called out in pain
Manon then helped her up
“You okay?” Manon asked
“Yeah I’m fine” Apple Bloom answered
Sweetie Belle then turned to the duo
“How’s the spin coming along?” Sweetie Belle asked
“I think I gotta just stick to punches and kicks” Apple Bloom answered before she noticed the failed clothing “You know, ponies only have four hooves” Apple Bloom reminded before turning to Manon holding a blouse and pants with three sides “And humans according to Applejack have two arms and legs” Apple Bloom reminded
Sweetie Belle then sighed in defeat
“I’ll never be a designer like my sister Rarity” Sweetie Belle said sadly
Manon then puts a hoof over Sweetie Belle’s shoulder
“Don’t sweat it Sweetie Belle! I’m sure your designs are as great as your sister's or my babysitter’s, I mean, you help Rarity or Marinette aka Ladybug sometimes, right?” Manon reminded
“Yeah but it’s always a 1 out of a 100 chance, if it’s something for me of my friends she’ll help but most of the time she does it herself” Sweetie Belle answered
“Are you kidding?! I’m sure you helped her a lot, how else did you make these capes for us so easily?!” Manon asked
“I… Have no idea” Sweetie Belle answered sadly
“Doesn’t matter! You’re amazing at this! I’m sure of it” Manon explained
“Thanks” Sweetie Belle thanked
“No worries” Manon said
“Also Sweetie Belle, why don’t you use the dress form?” Apple Bloom asked pointing to the statue that stood there near them “It’ll help you two with your patterns and help you two put all the pieces in the right places” Apple Bloom explained
“Oh, is that what that’s for?” Sweetie Belle asked in confusion
Apple Bloom then noticed the art Manon made which made her a little confused
“Uh… Maybe you should also clean your paintbrush between each color Manon” Apple Bloom suggested
“Oh, I was wondering why all the colors looked like mud, thanks for the tip” Manon thanked
“You’re both not using power tools, are you two?” Apple Bloom asked suspiciously
Manon and Sweetie Belle then turned to each other nervously at how they were found out so quickly
After a few hours Applejack was on her way to go look for her sister and her friends
“The talent show is just around the corner, I wonder how the fillies are doin’” Applejack thought out loud
Meanwhile inside the clubhouse the Cutie Mark Crusaders were dancing in the outfits Sweetie Belle made as they had a few mistakes
“Oh! Sorry Scootaloo!” Sweetie Belle apologized before she had to yelp in pain when Scootaloo hit her “Ouch!” Sweetie Belle called out in pain
“Oh, my bad Sweetie Belle, let’s sing the chorus again!” Scootaloo suggested
“I have a better idea, I’ll be working on the stuff below, Sweetie Belle will handle the lights, Apple Bloom will dance and Scootaloo will sing and at the end we’ll all come back together and sing for the last time!” Manon suggested
Applejack who watched all of this then walked off in defeat at what she witnessed
“Well, gosh, sure wasn’t expectin’ that” Applejack said in worry and defeat
Afterwards the Cutie Mark Crusaders were seen walking towards the railings while speaking making Applejack look up
“I think that sounded pretty good” Apple Bloom said
“I agree Apple Bloom” Manon said
“Me too, you think we’re ready?” Sweetie Belle asked
“Ready as we’ll ever be” Scootaloo said as Applejack began walking off only for her and the other three to see Applejack leaving as they quickly went to the other railing near Applejack “Hey! Did you see us practicing?” Scootaloo asked in excitement
“Uh… Yeah” Applejack answered
“Well? How’d we do? How’d we do?” Apple Bloom asked excitedly
“Uh…” Applejack started nervously
“Speechless! See girls? I told you that’s what we’re gonna do, we’re gonna leave them speechless” Scootaloo said
“Good idea, now let’s dress up for the show!” Manon said
“YEAH!” The trio called out
The Cutie Mark Crusaders then went back into the clubhouse as Applejack could only look in worry at them
“‘Speechless’ is right” Applejack said worriedly
After a few hours the show has started as everypony watched while Snips and Snails were doing their first act as they both wore some black hats and bowties
“And on the count of three this rabbit will disappear and something tasty will reappear in its place” Snips announced as Snails put the hat over the rabbit “A one, a two and a three!” Snips called out before pulling off the hat only for the rabbit to be gone but there was no carrot in place making him confused as he looked around “Hey! Where are they? Snails where are the…” Snips asked only to see Snails eating the carrot “Carrots?” Snips asked before getting angry while everypony laughed including Ladybug “SNAILS!” Snips called out
Snails then ran away in fright as Snips chased after him and when they were gone Cheerilee went on stage
“Uh, how about a round of applause for the s&s magic act” Cheerilee announced as everypony cheered as the screen changed to the Cutie Mark Crusaders hiding in a box in worry while covering their faces with a dark blue cape “Now for our next act we have Sunny Daze and Peachy Pie reciting their favorite poem… On roller skates!” Cheerilee announced
Two ponies then skated over to the curtain as Sweetie Belle called out
“Break a leg!” Sweetie Belle called out
Apple Bloom who heard that then turned to Sweetie Belle in anger and worry
“Sweetie Belle! What a thing to say!” Apple Bloom said angrily
“No, no, no, you see in the theater it’s considered bad luck to say ‘good luck’ so you say ‘break a leg’ instead” Sweetie Belle then explained
Twilight and Cat Noir then approached the trio
“Good evening my fair ladies!” Cat Noir greeted
“How are you doing my little ponies and Manon?” Twilight asked?
The four who heard the duo then nervously hid their faces halfway
“Nervous…” The four answered nervously
“Don’t worry, you’re both gonna be amazing, remember, just stick to what you know best” Twilight suggested before turning to Sweetie Belle “I can’t wait to hear you sing Sweetie Belle” Twilight said
“Why does everypony always think I’m gonna sing?” Sweetie Belle asked in disbelief
“Yeah, she’s right, I mean, I’m the main singer tonight” Scootaloo explained
“Oh?” Twilight asked in confusion
“And I’m the main dancer” Apple Bloom answered before doing a karate swipe down with one of her front hooves
“And I’m in charge of…” Sweetie Belle started
“Costumes?” Twilight asked
“And sets and props alongside Manon, how’d you know?” Sweetie Belle asked
“Really girls? Are you sure…?” Twilight asked
“Of course, right girls?” Manon asked
“YEAH! The trio answered
Just then Cheerilee approached the group
“Cutie Mark Crusaders, you’re on next, break a leg” Cheerilee announced
The trio then rushed off as they threw their capes onto the ground
“Break a le—” Twilight started
Just then Apple Bloom tripped over her cape before Manon got back to pull her up before the duo rushed off
“Uh… Good luck!” Twilight said
“Twilight! You shouldn’t be saying that!” Cat Noir said angrily
[Insert the Cutie Mark Crusaders song]
Afterwards the lights at the show dimmed as the curtains opened only to see a light shining on Scootaloo who had her hair spikey while her eyeshadow was dark purple as she began singing before three more lights appeared to show Apple Bloom having her hair pulled back by some piratey headband, Manon’s hair in a huge ponytail while her eyes were colored pink and Sweetie Belle also had spikey hair and her eyeshadow was pink just like Scootaloo
After a while the trio screamed causing the lights to dim up causing Scootaloo to be seen wearing a purple outfit with pink and green stripes and she had purple shoes, Sweetie Belle had a pink outfit with green hooves as the chest and top of her hooves had a bit of holes, Apple Bloom wore a black outfit with lots of skulls on it with an orange necklace on top and pink parts on the bottom parts of the hooves and Manon wore a black t-shirt with a sleeveless pink jacket on top, dark pink shorts and black shoes as everypony could only look in confusion at the stage while Ladybug got a little nervous while Applejack looked down sadly
Scootaloo then began singing as Sweetie Belle and Manon nodded before Sweetie Belle got to her place while Manon rushed to the drums that was in front of the houses which she then began hitting as Apple Bloom began doing karate like dances
Just then Sweetie Belle was seen pulling on some rope with her mouth causing a sun to go up as Scootaloo sang in defeat before she sang bravely as Apple Bloom did some karate kicks while jumping
Just then Sweetie Belle accidentally let’s go of the rope causing a bunch of spiders and ghosts to fall down
Afterwards Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom rushed near Scootaloo and they alongside her and Manon shouted a few lines again as Apple Bloom did some dances again on her rear hooves while Scootaloo tried to reach for the ground only to begin falling until a staff rushed by causing Scootaloo to gain her balance again as she sang and turned to Cat Noir happily as Cat Noir did so too while Sweetie Belle tried to get the smoke thing to go off which worked
The four then hung onto each other and then began singing together while the smoke reached towards them
Afterwards the four began jumping only for Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle to hit each other accidentally causing them to fall back to the ground
Manon then rushed to the lightning as she shone the light onto Scootaloo while Sweetie Belle went back to the backstage area and picked a wooden clock which she then put in front of Scootaloo before she tripped and rolled off stage
Manon then shone the light towards Apple Bloom who was dangerously close to some wooden planks as she did some karate kicks only for her to kick the plank making Ladybug more nervous as she couldn’t stop the show just to save them as Apple Bloom helplessly hopped towards the other side of the stage where Scootaloo was standing on to try and get herself out
Manon then puts a blue plastic in front of the light causing a piece of light to shine on stage which Scootaloo puts her head into
Manon then cheered as she rushed on stage while Sweetie Belle did so too only for her to hit the fan which she wasn’t supposed to causing it to start
Apple Bloom finally arrived to the podium and struggled to get her out only for it to work, except she and Scootaloo fell to the ground as the plank started to move dangerously which Sweetie Belle made sure didn’t hit anyone before another appeared causing her to gasp in shock as she used one of her other hooves to try and stop it too only for her to get stuck as Manon went to go help her put everything back to normal which worked well
But right when the song ended the sun fell on the four causing other stuff to fall down too or break into pieces as the trio then went off of one plank as they turned to everyone with a smile who then looked in confusion before laughing causing the Cutie Mark Crusaders to gasp in shock and look down as they went off stage in sadness
“Wow, that did not go as well as I expected” Scootaloo said in disbelief and sadness
“I can’t believe they’re laughin’ at us” Apple Bloom said
“I swear if we’ve got the comedy medal I’ll get even sadder” Manon said
“But what if we got a Cutie Mark then?” Sweetie Belle asked
“Then I’ll be happy, but that’s only if you get it and I get my strength” Manon answered
“Speaking of which, was it that bad?” Sweetie Belle asked
Just then Cheerilee and Spike went towards the stage before they stopped before the Cutie Mark Crusaders
“Back on stage girls, it’s time for the awards” Cheerilee announced
“Back on stage? No” Sweetie Belle said angrily
“Yeah, they’ll just laugh some more” Apple Bloom reminded
“Yeah, what’s the point?” Scootaloo asked sadly
“Now girls, let’s be good sports, you made a great effort, you should be proud, now come on!” Cheerilee said
Cheerilee and Spike then walked off
“I have a bad feeling about this” Manon said worriedly
“Same here” Scootaloo said
The four then went on stage as they stood next to the other competitors
Everypony then stomped their hooves on the ground while Ladybug and Cat Noir began applauding
“Our first award goes to… Snips and Snails for best magic act” Cheerilee announced
Snips and Snails then rushed on over to Cheerilee in excitement as they both got their medals
“Hey! Mine’s at least shinier” Snips said
“Well, mine’s bigger” Snails answered
The duo then walked off while turning to each other in anger
“Oh yeah, well… Well, mine is, um… Heavier?” Snips explained in confusion
“The next award goes to… Sunny Daze and Peach Pie for best dramatic performance” Cheerilee announced
The duo then gasped as they skated towards Cheerilee leaving the Cutie Mark Crusaders all alone as Spike puts medals on both of them as Cheerilee turned to the stage for the last time
“And finally the last award of the night goes to… The Cutie Mark Crusaders!” Cheerilee announced
“WHAT?!” The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasped in shock and disbelief
“For best comedy act” Cheerilee explained
Everypony then began cheering in happiness as Spike puts necklaces on the Cutie Mark Crusaders who then bowed before rushing back on stage in happiness
“Can you believe it? We won!” Apple Bloom said in shock and happiness
“I can’t believe it! I think I’m going to pass out!” Manon said
“I knew our act was awesome” Scootaloo said happily
“You know what would be the best? If we won and we got our Cutie Marks and Manon’s strength” Sweetie Belle said
“Good idea, let’s check it!” Manon suggested
The Cutie Mark Crusaders then pulled off their outfits while Manon did some strength motions before she struggled to make a bump on her arm appear while the three ponies looked at the Cutie marks but when they noticed it wasn’t there causing the four of them to sigh in defeat as Twilight walked to the four of them
“Congratulations girls! Job well done” Twilight announced
“Thanks Twilight” The four said sadly
“Hey, you don’t sound too excited” Twilight said worriedly
Scootaloo then sighed in sadness before turning to Twilight
“We worked really hard and won a prize but we still don’t have our Cutie Marks” Scootaloo explained sadly
“Or my strength” Manon explained sadly
“Which is the prize we really wanted” Sweetie Belle agreed
Twilight then turned to them in disbelief
“Oh girls…” Twilight said in disbelief
“But we think we know why” Apple Bloom explained
“Yes, we know why” Sweetie Belle agreed
“Oh? Tell me, I’d love to make a special report to the Princess” Twilight explained happily
“Well, maybe we were trying too hard” Sweetie Belle explained
“Yes? And?” Twilight asked nervously
“And instead of forcing ourselves to do something that’s not meant for us…” Scootaloo started
“Yes? Yes?” Twilight asked nervously
“We each should be embracing our true talent!” Apple Bloom explained
“And that is…?” Twilight started
“Comedy!” The Cutie Mark Crusaders called out excitedly
Twilight then looked in shock and disbelief until she heard a familiar voice
“Apple Bloom! You did it!” Apple Bloom called out
After the group heard that they turned to their sisters and Manon to her babysitter aka Ladybug as they rushed to them in excitement
“Did you see our reward? Weren’t we funny?” The four called out in excitement
Twilight meanwhile could only look in disbelief
“One day…” Twilight started before giggling a bit “One day…” Twilight said
