20. Friends Come Together

A trio of good friends explore the beauty of a wooded area of Kanto. They are the trio of Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. They came to spend time in Kanto to observe Pokémon in their natural habitat. Even take pictures. Soon, they come up to a cabin near a dock area.
"Well, here's your cousin's cabin." Scootaloo said. "Are you sure about this?"
"I'm sure, Scoots." Apple Bloom replied. "According to the phone call I received, he wants to talk to us."
"It must be important you if he learned that we're here in Kanto."
"Let's find out." Sweetie Belle suggested.
As the trio entered the cabin, they were greeted by Braeburn. "Howdy, girls. Good of you to come."
"Howdy, cousin." Apple Bloom replied. "We heard there's a problem. What's up?"
"In the next room."
The girls walk into the next room. And, were shocked at the sight of Diamond Tiara bound and helpless.
"DIAMOND!!" All three girls gasped.
"Apple Bloom! Sweetie Belle! Scootaloo!" Diamond replied happily. "You're a sight for sore eyes."
"And, you're a sorry sight." Sweetie Belle added. "Why are you tied up like this?"
"Some prissy girl used a Noctowl to make me remember my bad moments. I broke down in tears. That's why Braeburn restrained me."
"Makes sense." Apple Bloom figured. "Applejack learned that from Braeburn. She often ties me up if I have a nervous breakdown."
Scootaloo soon saw two other figures entering the room. "Babs! Silver Spoon!"
"Hi, girls." Silver replied. "I guess you heard what happened to Diamond."
"Yup." Apple Bloom answered. "It must be that Holly Prema varmint. She doesn't like Diamond being friends with us."
Later that day, Diamond was untied after calming down. Soon, all three girls are outside the cabin.
"How about showing us your Pokémon." Sweetie Belle suggested. "Besides that cute little Eevee here."
"Sure." Diamond replied as she threw all five of her Poké Balls in the air. "Come out, everybody!"
All of Diamond's Pokémon came out. Everyone was amazed.
"Check it out." Scootaloo noticed. "Pidgeotto, Drowzee, Diglett, and both forms of Ninetales."
"Both Kantonian and Alolan?" Sweetie Belle gasped. "They're beautiful."
"Thank you." Diamond replied. "And, I have Pikachu, Geodude, and Ivysaur at Professor Oak's Lab."
Babs grabbed her own Poké Balls. "Here's my team."
Apple Bloom was impressed with her cousin's Pokémon. "Hoo-wee! Charmeleon, Fearow, and Kadabra. Nice selection."
"Thanks, cousin." Babs replied happily.
"And now," Silver announced, "here's my Pokémon!"
Sweetie Belle looked at Sweetie's Pokémon, and was a little concerned. "I like your Wartortle and Rhyhorn. But, I'm a little weary about that Venomoth."
"Some bug Pokémon aren't that bad." Silver explained as Venomoth landed next to her. "You just have to understand them a little bit."
"I guess you're right. But, I don't think Rarity can learn that fact."
Everybody had a good laugh.
As Diamond rests under a tree, Apple Bloom came along to sit next to her.
"I heard ya decided to go barefoot most of your journey." Apple Bloom said. "But, I never would've believed it."
"I just wanted to do my own thing." Diamond explained. "Don't want to follow my mother's example all the time, you know."
"That's true. I heard you also have a pair of overalls with you."
"I sure do. You would've loved the looks I pull off with them."
Apple Bloom hugged Diamond, knowing that she's becoming her own person. As the sun was setting, the Cutie Mark Crusaders lead Diamond and friends down Route 12.
"So, what are you guys showing us?" Babs asked.
Sweetie Belle pointed to the answer. "That!"
All six girls see a huge cat like creature laying in from the road. Diamond pulls out her Pokédex to study this creature. Snorlax, the Sleeping Pokémon. It has a big appetite. After it eats it's weight in food. It goes to sleep.
Sweetie Belle looks at the area Snorlax is sleeping in. "This big Pokémon is blocking the way."
"How can move something this big?" Scootaloo asked.
Diamond has an idea. "Silver, use the Poké Flute."
"Good idea." Silver replied.
Silver pulled out her Poké Flute, and played a lovely tune. Snorlax started to stir. Suddenly, it stood up quick and became angry. Everybody panicked.
"I don't think he likes having his nap interrupted." Babs said nervously.
Diamond called for one of her Pokémon. "Drowzee, come on out."
Drowzee popped out, ready for battle. Snorlax saw its opponent and jumped into the air.
"Dodge it, Drowzee!" Diamond called out.
Drowzee ran away from the Body Slam move. Diamond soon had an idea. "Drowzee, use Psybeam. Eevee, use Double Kick!"
Drowzee fired a ray of psychic energy to stun Snorlax while Eevee gave two quick strong kicks towards the sleeping Pokémon.
"We're going to have to catch this Pokémon." Silver said. "But, how?"
Diamond takes out a black Poké Ball with yellow stripes. "This Ultra Ball should do the trick. Ultra Ball, GO!"
The Ultra Ball hit Snorlax, opened up, and absorbed the giant Pokémon. After a few shakes, the ball clicked. Picking it up, Diamond is surprised. "I caught Snorlax."
The ball disappeared. The Cutie Mark Crusaders got shocked.
"Where did that Poké Ball go?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Probably back to Professor Oak." Babs replied.
Suddenly, they saw Braeburn rushing towards them. "I saw everything, girls. That's quite a capture, Diamond Tiara."
Diamond soon looked at Apple Bloom. "To think, I used to despise you and your friends because you guys aren't wealthy as me and my family."
"And now," Apple Bloom replied, "we're all friends."
The former prissy girl started to tear up. "It's thanks to you CMCs I started to learn about myself. And, finally have the courage to stand up to my mother."
"I'll bet your father is proud of you for that." Scootaloo added.
"You got that right, Scoots."
The three girls gave Diamond a warm hug. Babs, Silver, and Braeburn watched with admiration.
"Let's go back to the cabin." Braeburn said. "We all need a good night's sleep."
The six girls nodded and followed Braeburn to the cabin. Meanwhile, At Oak's Lab, Gary was visiting when they both saw the equipment showing a Poké Ball coming in.
"It's been a while since Diamond Tiara sent us a Pokémon." Professor Oak said. "I wonder which one she sent over."
An Ultra Ball appeared, opened up, and presented Snorlax. Needless to say, the professor and his grandson were shocked.
"Where did that girl get a Snorlax from?" Oak asked nervously.
"Man." Gary gasped. "It's HUGE!"
