Outside Celadon City, the three villains of Team Rocket look on with angry eyes.
"That group of twerpettes will pay for shutting down our operations in this town." James grumbled.
"We're with you, Jimmy boy." Meowth replied. "Especially that Diamond Tiara dame."
"Who'd thought that a prissy girl like her would be an excellent trainer." Jessie wondered. "I heard that she has four gym badges right now."
"So, what'll we do?"
Jessie then had a fiendish idea. "Let's wait until nighttime. Then, we'll sneak into the Pokémon Center, and grab that Eevee."
"Good thinking." James said happily. "I heard that Eevee learned Light Up recently."
Meowth was impressed. "First, Chop Down. Now, Light Up. That's one special Eevee all right."
Night came to Kanto. Soon, the three villains approached Celadon. Just then, a group of people gathered from all over town to pursue Team Rocket. The nasty trio saw the mob and zipped away.
"How did all of these people know we were coming to Celadon?" Jessie screamed.
"I'll bet those are former customers wanting some payback." James replied nervously.
"Less talking, more running!" Meowth added. "We need to outrun that mob. Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!"
The Team Rocket trio ran fast to who knows where. "BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!"
