It was a sunny day in Canterlot City and everyone is enjoying the breeze. But today was a special day for a couple of Fluttershy and Soarin. See four years ago they started off as best friends when Soarin came and bonded with her after rescuing a lost puppy. They been closer than ever and now after four years of dating it was time for Soarin to take his relationship to the next level. By asking Fluttershy to marry him! When night came around Soarin took her and went to the tallest hill where they can see the moon.
"Soarin. This sight is beautiful. But why are we here?" Fluttershy asked.
"Because babe. There's something I want to ask you for a long time." Soarin said as he got on one knee. "Fluttershy. My love. To me you are an angel. An angel i cannot stop seeing. And you have made me very happy and erased this wrinkled frown. You shined on me like the moon above and once we are together forever we will bloom the night of love. So Fluttershy?" Soarin said as he opened the box and showed her a ring with emeralds as she gasped. "Will you marry me?"
"I...I...Soarin. Yes. YES I WILL MARRY YOU!!" Fluttershy said happy.
Soarin placed the ring on her finger and the two embraced in the moment and shared their first kiss in the moonlight. Then they ran to tell their friends and family the big news. And sure enough they were so happy for the both of them.
Then five months passed and we see that the park was decorated for the wedding. There was even a wedding podium all built for the couple and chairs for the guests. Now inside one of the buildings in the dressing room we see Fluttershy in her wedding dress with pink trimmings on it. Now she was a little nervous since weddings are quite special. But lucky for her she had her friends who were also the bridesmaids.
"Oh this quite fantastic! I can't believe that you are getting married Fluttershy!" Rarity squealed.
"Yeah. Me too. But I'm A little nervous girls. What if I mess up out there?" Fluttershy worried.
"You won't. I knew you and Soarin are perfect for each other. He wouldn't want you to worry. He's doing the best for you. You're gonna be great out there." Twilight smiled.
"Thanks Twilight. I hope your right." Fluttershy said.
Twilight nodded and Rarity finished putting on the final touches for her dress. Once she did then she placed a wedding veil on her head and carried a bouquet of flowers. She was now ready to be married. Soarin in his handsome dark blue tux saw her coming out and took her arm and led her down the carpet. The others got up and watched the two walked down the aisle all the way to the podium. As they walked we see Smolder and the Cutie Mark Crusaders tossing the flower petals as they are the flower girls. Heck even Fluttershy's parents and her brother were there too. Zephyr usually was a bit cocky to get a girl but today he decided to support his sister and not ruin the occasion. When they got on the podium Soarin removed the veil off of Fluttershy's face and a elderly man named Grand Pear came to the stand. Everyone turned to face him and sat down.
"Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the wonderful marriage of Fluttershy and Soarin to be together in holy grace. And once the couple is married they we will be part of our family of the whole city. The couple will now say their vows before the rings are exchanged. Fluttershy you may go first." Grand Pear said.
The couple looked into each other's eyes as Fluttershy prepared to speak.
"Soarin. From the day we met I have always felt a spark between us. From the day we saved that puppy and gave it a home to now. You were there when I was hurt and you always protected me. For all that I am truly grateful to have you as my husband." Fluttershy vowed.
Everyone smiled and Fluttershy's mom shedded a few tears hearing her vow. Now it was Soarin's turn.
"Fluttershy. My angel. From the days I dreamed of becoming a Wonderbolt I have found something far better than being a Wonderbolt. Being together with you forever. From the day we met I couldn't stop thinking about you and later on our love bloomed into something romantic. I couldn't be happier than ever now that were going to be married in a few seconds. So I promise you that on this day I will make you happy as much as you made me." Soarin vowed.
Fluttershy smiled and cried softly but knew that he really meant it. Then came Spike and Rumble as the ring bearers. They took an emerald ring each and Grand Pear started reading the vows.
"Do you Soarin take Fluttershy to be your lawful wedded wife? To love her and cherish til death do you part?" Grand Pear asked.
He placed the ring on her finger. "I do." Soarin replied.
"And do you Fluttershy take Soarin to be your lawful wedded husband? To love him and cherish til death do you part?" Grand Pear asked her.
She placed the ring on his finger. "I do." Fluttershy answered.
"Then by the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. Soarin you may now kiss the bride." Grand Pear finished.
The two leaned in and sealed their love with a kiss. Then everyone cheered as they waved to the crowd and Fluttershy carried a microphone and spoke.
"Everyone. I truly appreciate you all for coming. Today is and will be the greatest day of our lives. And now before we leave I like to sing this song to my parents. Mom? Dad? And Zephyr? This one is for you." Fluttershy said.
And then the guy holding a guitar began playing.
https://m.Fluttershy sang like an angel to that song. And after she finished the audience cheered for a wonderful performance. And the made their way down and Fluttershy tossed the flowers and Spike caught the bouquet and gave it to Smolder. She thanked him by kissing him on the lips.
Then the two got in the carriage and took off in the heat of the day to their honeymoon. All of Fluttershy's friends and her parents smiled seeing her so happy and finally going to be able to raise a family in the very near future.
