Author's Notes: All i really need is an editor and someone who knows how to write a southern accent because i stinke at that anyway leave comments on who these three should fight in the next chapter
Edit: ok obviously this didn't go over well but if you like the concept enough to read this I am willing to make changes to the story where I will do the basic draft like below then I will send that off to someone who would like edit it and a third person to write the action scenes: all and all I will try to scavenge this concept
The year is 2500 and world is at peace. Some countries still dislike each other but they learned to love and tolerate just like everyone else. Now I stand before a portal that just appeared here. My friends and I just stood in amazement from it. We were just playing the mlp game "Quest for Canterlot" I was thinking of all the possibilities that lied on the other side of this portal when my friend said "What do you think is on the other side?" That's Zack we where friends since pre-k. He was always a history nut who liked anything that existed before we was born, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like the most resent tech either and is also a big gamer. Need to know anything about history or video games he would probably know it.
"Why do you think he'd know that Zack that portal is a mystery with an infinite amount of possibilities on the other side." That's Jessica Zack's sister, she's the closest one out of us to being a genius and also my crush, but I don't think she has a clue.
"Well there is one way to find out. Lets go in." Might as well talk about me my name is Mike all I can say is I tend to be reckless and not think things though but I like surprises I am also the biggest gamer out of my friends. I then ran into the portal with Zack and Jessica behind me. Though the portal was a familiar library we looked around when I saw a certain purple unicorn passed out on the floor. "Zack, Jessica I think we're in Ponyville."
"Ponyville you mean that town on that show our mega great grandparents watched." Said Zack
"The same and I think I know how we got here but I want to confirm before I say it."
The purple unicorn started waking up and moaned while getting up on all fours "Huh, who are you, what are you, where's the portal I made to study the possibility to travel though space?"
I spoke up to tell her what happened "We are Mike, Zack, and Jessica and we are humans. As to the portal I think we came though it and you are?" I asked pretending not to know her just incase I might be in the past of the show to prevent altering too much of it.
"Sorry, I panic when I don't know what's going on. Anyway my name is Twilight Sparkle personal student of Princesses Celestial of Equestria. I was gonna study other worlds and how we could help each other in terms of advancing our life styles."
And with one look into those big eyes of hers I felt like I could never be mad at her.
"It's fine can you just cast the spell and send us home?"
"Ugh" at that sound I knew I was in for some bad news "I can't, you see it is a really advanced spell and I just got lucky with it today. Also I have to go help my friend AppleJack soon she said some thing about a bet with her brother wanna come help? After all everypony else will find out you three are here sooner or later since you got no way back right now sorry about that."
"It's ok Twilight I know you didn't mean for us to come through the portal. And we would be glad to help out, right guys."
"Yeah sure sounds nice." Said Zack
"Don't really have anywhere else to go either." Said Jessica
"Thanks I'm sure we could be good friends." Replied Twilight as she walked out the door. We followed her outside when she gasped. I saw another portal over what I assumed was the everfree forest. "Oh no I guess when I made the portal to your world I also made that one by mistake and something seems to be falling out of it.
"That looks like monsters of some old retro games from the 1990's." said Zack as he ran off to the forest. Twilight, Jessica, and myself followed till we came to the edge of the everfree forest.
"Zack wait we don't have anything to defend ourselves with." I pointed out
"Hey I got a plan." Zack said as he used a small holoscreen he pulled out using the chip in his head that we all get installed at brith. He used the part that allows you to make an image in your mind real. He made a buster sword from Final Fantasy 7 for me light enough to carry I might add. Lighting's sword from Final Fantasy 13 for Jessica. Then he made a keyblade from Kingdom Hearts for himself. Twilight just stood there amazed at the technology we just used to get our weapons.
"Twilight go help your friend we'll handle this." I said in a stern voice she just nodded and left. "Ok let's get ready but first we need a leader to keep us coordinated for attacks and strategy so who do you think should be the leader?"
Zack and Jessica just looked at each other nodded and said "you should" at the same time.
"Really me why I think I am too reckless to be a leader. I choose to go the portal and you followed me in because of my recklessness so why me?" I asked
"Because" Zack replied "it's your fault we're here you get us out of it." I should have seen that one coming I thought to myself and with that we ventured into the Everfree Forest. About thirty minutes later we came across a clearing and saw the monster it looked like a small blue goo with a face we decided to call this a slime in case we see more of them as the portal is still open. So as leader I decided for us all to attack it. To confuse it we decide to spread out and surround it but we hid behind difernet trees for now and then I ran out and slashed the slime with my buster sword. Then Zack attacked with his keyblade followed by Jessica finishing off the silm with a slash from Lighting's sword. After that we each had a holo screen show up in front of us saying our weapons gained 100 experience points each.
"What's this suppose to mean?" I asked
"These weapons are from games right that means it still goes by a level up system." Said Jessica
"That makes sense I guess. Let's head back to Twilight's she is probably waiting for us to return back at the library." We all agreed and started heading back. We arrived around nightfall headed inside and saw 5 new ponies but no Twilight. The pink one ran right in front of me and said.
"Who are you, what are you, wait I don't know you so you must be new around here I better throw you three a party. Good thing I always bring my party cannon."
"Pinkie put that cannon away." Said the light blue pegasus "Sorry about her she always like that. But what are you doing here."
"We are here to see Twilight. We kinda got no where to stay and was going to ask Twilight if we could stay here of a bit."
Just then Twilight appeared in the room. "Warn me next time your gonna do that" said the small purple dragon that was with Twilight.
"I didn't even know that would happen." Said Twilight as she looked and saw all of us there. "What are you all doing in my house."
"Well, me and my friends need a place to stay." I said
"Do you know these three Sugercube." Said the orange pony. "Cause if ya do, I could make some room in the barn for dem."
"Yes, but not very well they just got here today"
"Dat's fine I sure dey won't do much, but if dey do I'll buck dem harder dan a apple tree."
"Thanks AppleJack" said Twilight. She then turned to us and asked us to wait out side. We went and waited for a few minutes then all 6 of the ponies came out with golden tickets next to them. They even gave us one each and went celebrant our new friendship over some cupcakes at Sugercube Corner. AppleJack then brought us to her barn wished us all good night and we all went to sleep.
