In a house in the city of Canterlot, a 15 year old girl with white skin, pink eyes & magenta hair that reached the middle of her back was sleeping. The girl’s height was also 5 foot 1.

“Cherry Blossom!” hollered a man with white skin, brown hair, brown eyes & wearing a blue shirt, black pants & white shoes. 

“Dad!” groaned Cherry.” said Cherry.

“You’re going to be late to get your first pokemon. “ said Cherry’s Dad.

“Oh dang, I forget.” said Cherry.

Cherry changed out of her pajamas into a shirt that was blue on top & white on the bottom, a hat that was white with a red pokeball logo on it & had a red brim, blue pants & red shoes. She grabbed her bag which was red & blue with a black strap, she almost was out of the house.

“HOLD IT!” said Cherry’s Dad.

“What? You’re going to make me even more late.” said Cherry.

“Did you pack your sleeping bag & tent?” asked Cherry’s Dad

“Yes dad I did.” answered Cherry.

“Did you pack more clothes?” said Cherry’s Dad.

“Yes.” answered Cherry.

“Including more bras & underwear?” asked Cherry’s Dad.

“Oh my gosh dad, of course I did, I also packed a few bikinis in case I wanted to go swimming.” answered Cherry.

“Good, just wanted to make sure you were prepared.” said Cherry’s Dad.

“I know.” said Cherry.

Cherry hugged her dad and raced to Professor Celestia Solana's Lab, Cherry saw a professor who was an older woman in her 40’s. Cherry barged through the front door & fell on the floor.
“I guess you’re the new trainer.” said a woman.

Cherry looked up and saw a woman with light blue hair that reached her shoulders, she had dark blue skin, light blue eyes. She wore a white lab coat, a black shirt with white stars on it, a blue skirt & black heels.
“Professor Solana?” said Cherry, getting up.

“Yes, not the Solana you’re expecting. I’m Professor Luna, the sister of Celestia.” answered Professor Luna.

“Oh, where's the other Professor Solana?” asked Cherry.

“She’s out feeding the pokemon, trainers have left here.” answered .

“Okay, are there any pokemon left?” asked Cherry.

“Yes, there’s 1 left.” answered Luna.

“Just one?” asked Cherry.

Professor Luna took Cherry to a machine with one pokeball in them. Luna opened a pokeball revealing a Bulbasaur.
“This is the only starter pokemon given to Reorro(This world’s Kanto) Trainers left.” said Luna.

“Well I intended to pick Bulbasaur, so it’s okay.” said Cherry.

“Very well.” said Luna.

“I see you’ve met my sister and the starter pokemon.” said Celestia.

Cherry turned to she Professor Celestia, she was a older woman in her 40’s like her sister, Celestia had white skin, pink hair, pink eyes, she wore a white lab coat, a yellow blouse, blue pants and pink heels.

“Professor Luna gave me Bulbasaur.” said Cherry.

“How Lovely.” said Celestia.

“Before you go, here’s 5 more pokeballs and a Rotom Phone.” said Luna.

Cherry put the five pokeballs in her pocket & turned on the blue cased Rotom Phone.
“Cool.” said Cherry.

“That Rotom Phone has data on all of the currently discovered Pokemon in the world.” said Luna.

 “Thank you Professors.” said Cherry.

“Good Luck on your journey.” said Luna.

Cherry made her way to Route 1.
"Pokedex who are the Gym Leaders of the Region?" Cherry asked her phone.

“The Reorro Region has 10 Gym Leaders, but only 8 Badges are required for the Harmony Conference. 
The Gym Leaders are Rarity the Gym Leader of Manhattan who uses Ice Types, 
Mac the Gym Leader of Oaktreehoma who uses Steel Types, 
Applejack the Gym Leader of San Pontonio who uses Ground Types. 
Rainbow Dash the Gym Leader of Las Pegasus who uses Flying Types, 
Flash the Gym leader of Pearsburgh who uses Electric Types, 
Bulk the Gym Leader of Fillydelphia who uses Normal Types, 
Soarin the Gym Leader of Totrotto who uses Fire Types, 
Twilight the Gym Leader of Everton who uses Psychic Types. 
Lemon Zest the Gym Leader of Mareami who uses Poison Types 
Cadence the Gym Leader of San Ponsico who uses Water Types.” answered the Rotom Phone.

“What about the Elite 4 & Champion?” asked the girl.

“The Elite 4 are Fluttershy who uses Grass Types, Shining who uses Fighting Types, Spike who uses Dragon Types & Pinkie who uses Fairy Types. The Canterlot Champion is Sunset Shimmer.” answered the Rotom Phone.

“Dang.” said Cherry.

Cherry brought out her pokemon.
“Bulba.” said Bulbasaur.

Cherry held her Rotom Phone to Bulbasaur. “Bulbasaur, the seed Pokemon, a Grass & Poison type. There is a plant seed on its back right from the day this Pokémon is born. The seed slowly grows larger.” said Cherry’s Phone

“Okay Bulbasaur your moves are Vine Whip, Tackle, Growl & Sludge Bomb & you’re a girl.” said Cherry.

“Hoot.” said a Hoothoot from up in a tree.

“Hoothoot the owl pokemon, a normal & flying type, It begins to hoot at the same time every day. Some Trainers use them in place of clocks.” said Cherry’s Phone.

“Bulbasaur use sludge bomb.” said Cherry.

Bulbasaur caught the gold color Hoothoot of guard, knocked it out of the tree & Hoothoot then flashed purple. Hoothoot’s wings glowed white and it shot blades of wind at Bulbasaur, knocking the plant pokemon back. Hoothoot then flashed purple again before its eyes glowed pink, Bulbasaur was lifted up into the sky and launched into the ground.

“Hooot.” groaned Hoothoot as the poison knocked it out.

“Go pokeball!” said Cherry, the pokeball shook once, then twice, third time and the capture was confirmed.

“Hoothoot has been registered to your pokedex.” said Cherry’s phone.

“Let’s see you have Air Slash, Peck, Tackle & Psychic, you’re a girl….” Cherry noticed a star symbol on the corner of Hoothoot’s picture. “Wait, you're shiny!!!” exclaimed Cherry.

As Cherry walked down Route 1 she saw a 16 year old girl with red skin, black & white hair, blue eyes, blue shirt, black skirt & black shoes. She stood at 5 foot 6 inches.

“Well look, it's little Cherry.” said The Girl

“Now if you excuse me.” said Cherry, trying to leave.

“So you finally got out of the house.” said Ruby.

“Yep, how many pokemon do you have?” asked Cherry.

“5- Pidgey, Rattata, Nidoran Male, Indigoco & my starter.” answered Ruby.

“Who did you pick as your starter?” asked Cherry.

“I’ll keep that as a secret, what pokemon do you have?” asked Ruby.

“My starter & Hoothoot.” answered Cherry.

“Already behind on Pokemon.” chuckled Ruby.

The two reached Las Pegasus & entered the pokemon center. After 20 minutes Nurse Redheart gave them their healed pokemon back. The trainers went to the Las Pegasus Gym. The doors opened and they saw a woman with blue skin, long multicolored hair, red eyes and wearing a black jacket, pink shirt, navy blue pants, pink shoes who was sitting on a throne.

“Hello challengers, I’m Rainbow Dash the gym leader.” said Rainbow Dash.

“We’re Cherry & Ruby from Canterlot.” said Cherry.

“Which one will I be crushing first?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“You can crush Cherry & I’ll crush you!” hollered Ruby.

Rainbow Dash got up from her throne. “So you have at least 6 of the badges.” she said.

“Six Badges?” asked Ruby.

“I require my challengers to have 6 badges, so I don’t have to hold back. How many do you have?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“One.” said Ruby quietly.

Rainbow Dash laughed “Seriously? Do you not know how strong I am?” she said.

Ruby fumed out of the gym.
“I didn’t know about the badge requirement.” said Cherry.

“Don’t worry about it, other trainers haven’t as well. Your friend's cockyness is was just funny.” said Rainbow Dash.

“She’s always been like that.” said Cherry.

“I recommend going to San Pontonio & Manhattan and challenging Applejack & Rarity.” said Rainbow Dash.

“I will thank you.” said Cherry.

Cherry exited the gym and as expected Ruby was nowhere to be found, Cherry looked through the city and didn’t find her. Cherry wasn’t looking where she was going and bumped into another teenage trainer. This trainer had pink skin, blue eyes, white hair, she had on a white shirt with a pink pokeball on it, a blue beanie, a pink skirt, blue shoes & a black backpack.

“OH! What wear you're going!” said the other trainer.

“Sorry.” said Cherry, helping her up & handing her hat to her.

The other girl dusted herself off. “Just be careful.” she said.

“Let's do this properly, I’m Cherry Blossom from Canterlot.” said Cherry, holding out her hand.

“I’m Rose Wood. I’m from Pearsburgh.” said Rose.

“Are you a new trainer too?” asked Cherry.

“Yes, I got my Charmander from the two Professor Solanas.” answered Rose.

“Are you doing gym battles?” asked Cherry.

“No, I'm doing contests, there’s one happening here in a couple of days. You should try it” answered Rose.

“I don’t think I should.” said Cherry.

“Why? Don’t like dressing up?” asked Rose.

“Yes.” said Cherry.

“Dressing up isn’t scary.” chuckled Rose.

They went to Route 2, Cherry saw a Nidoran female, she brought out Hoothoot and her pokeball released sparkles as she was brought out.

“Hoothoot, Psychic!” said Cherry.

The Nidoran was lifted up in the air then slammed into the ground. “Air Slash.” said Cherry, Hoothoot quickly fired Air Slashes at Nidoran. Cherry threw a pokeball at Nidoran and after it shook three times she was captured.

“Nidoran Female has been registered to your Pokedex.” said Cherry’s Phone.

“Good job.” said Rose.

“Thanks.” said Cherry.

“You have a shiny pokemon.” said Rose.

“Yea I found her on Route 1.

“So do I.” Rose brought out her pink female butterfree.

“Awesome.” said Cherry.

The two heard rumbling in the grass, poking her head out was a female Pikachu.
“Bulbasaur, vine whip!” said Cherry.

“Saur!” said Bulbasaur as she hit Pikachu with a vine whip.

“Pika!” said Pikachu as she was knocked backwards.

Bulbasaur shook and yellow electricity came off Bulbasaur.
“Pikachu’s static.” said Rose.

“Damn.” said Cherry.

Pikachu glowed yellow and zapped Bulbasaur with electricity, but it did hardly anything.
“Sludge bomb!” commanded Cherry.

Bulbasaur hit Pikachu with a sludge bomb & the mouse flashed purple from the poison. Cherry threw a pokeball and captured Pikachu.
“Pikachu has been registered to your pokedex.” said Cherry’s Phone.

“Wooooo.” cheered Cherry.

“We should get them healed.” said Rose.

“Right.” said Rose.

While Cherry’s pokemon was getting healed she saw that Nidoran’s moves were Poison sting, double kick, shadow claw & tackle. Pikachu’s moves were Thunderbolt, Surf, Quick Attack & Double Team.

After Cherry’s pokemon were healed they ventured onto Route 22, they spotted a Mankey.
“Butterfree air slash.” said Rose.

Butterfree shot the air slashes at the Mankey, the fighting type’s fist glowed blue. It jumped at Butterfree but the butterfly simply flew up to avoid it.

“Giga drain.” said Rose.

Green energy shot from Butterfree and hit Mankey sapping its health away. “Sleep Power.” Butterfree blew orange dust on Mankey making it fall asleep. Rose then threw a pokeball capturing Mankey.

“Mankey has been registered to your pokedex.” said Rose’s Phone, Rose’s phone had a pink case.

“Nice.” said Cherry.

The two won battles against a couple of bug catchers each, before going back to Las Pegasus, after once again healing their pokemon. Rose took Cherry to a clothing store to buy outfits for tomorrow’s contest.

“I feel weird.” said Cherry from her changing room.

“Ah come on, it’s not bad.” said Rose, she had a pink dress which ended at her knees & black heels on.

Cherry exited her changing room wearing a bright blue dress which stopped at her knees, dark blue gloves & heels.
“Happy?” said Cherry.

“You look beautiful.” said Rose.

Cherry stood in front of the mirror. “If you say so.” she said.

“Of course you do.” said Rose.

They changed back into their regular clothes and bought the dresses. That night they sat in their room in the pokemon center.
“Rose, if you don’t mind me asking, what does your family do?” asked Cherry.

“My father is Professor Wood, he travels the world studying pokemon. He found my Butterfree and gave her to me. While my Mom isn’t in the picture anymore.” answered Rose.

“Both my parents are very strong trainers, my dad made it to the champion’s league where he beat two of the Reorro Elite 4. My mom beat all of them & was trying to be the champion but she was defeated by the former champion, Granny Smith. She took the loss hard and went on this mission but she never came back.” said Cherry.

“I’m sorry to hear that.” said Rose.

“I just wonder what happened to her.” said Cherry.

The next morning they changed into their dresses and went to the contest hall. There were 18 trainers back in the trainer's room.

“Welcome to the first Reorro contest of the season, we have 18 trainers here to try and win the Wind Ribbon! I’m your host Allura Ivory and let’s give a welcome to our first coordinator, Mari Pine from Indigo Bark Town!” said Allura.

Mari Pine was the same age as Cherry, she had white skin, black hair tied in a ponytail & green eyes. She wore a yellow blouse, black skirt & shoes that were red & white.

“Totodile, come on out!” said Mari, the capsule she chose made her dancing Shiny Totodile appear out of bubbles. 

“Water gun!” Totodile shot a water gun at the ground which launched him into the bubbles and he jumped from bubble to bubble. 

“Ice Beam!” Totodile spun around as he fell, creating a swirling tower of Ice that he slid down & then posed.

The crowd applauded & Mari bowed before walking back to the trainer room.
“That was good.” said Cherry.

“Yeah.” said Rose.

The next few trainers weren’t good then came a trainer named Amber Flare & her Cyndaquil, Amber had blue hair, tan skin, blue eyes, she wore a red suit. When she brought out Cyndaquil it came out from a fireball. Amber had Cyndaquil spin around using a flamethrower & make a Flaming Star, then used a smokescreen to put it out. The crowd clapped for them.

“You’re next.” said Cherry.

“Wish me luck.” said Rose.

“UP next is Rose Wood from Pearsburgh!” announced Allura.

“Come on Butterfree!” said Rose.

Butterfree was released with a star ball capsule so colorful stars surrounded the butterfly. “Double Team!” 6 Butterfree clones appeared. “Air Slash.” The Butterfrees used air slash to push the multiple stars into one. “Energy Ball!” The Butterfrees each shot a green Energy Ball at the giant star making it explode in color tiny pieces. The crown clapped and Rose went to the back.

More Trainers came out and did their performances.
“Now it’s time for final coordinator Cherry Blossom from Canterlot!” announced Allura.

“Pikachu!” said Cherry.

Pikachu jumped out of her pokemon through sparks. “Use Double Team!” 5 Pikachu clones appeared. “Quick Attack.” The Pikachus used a quick attack to push the sparks into an electric trampoline. “Use Thunderbolt!” Pikachu used the thunderbolt to make an Electric wave, Pikachu used the electric trampoline to jump onto the electric wave and surf it. 

Pikachu surfed the electric wave into the trampoline to make it shower rainbow sparks. Cherry & Pikachu bowed as the crowd clapped & the walked back to the trainer’s room.

“That was cool!” said Rose, giving Cherry a hug.

“It was also fun.” said Cherry.

They broke their hug. “See! I told you!” said Rose.

“Alright everyone the judges have made their decisions and here’s the trainers moving onto round 2!” said Allura.

On the TV, The first picture shown was Mari’s, then it was two other trainers, then Cherry’s, then two more, then Rose & Amber’s.
“We made it Through!” said Rose.

“Now let’s randomize and see who’s facing who!” said Allura.

The pictures were shuffled and it showed Cherry facing Amber in round 2.
“Now let’s move onto our first match of round 2 Cherry vs Amber.” said Allura.

“I’m going first.” said Cherry.

“Don’t worry I’ll make it quick.” said Amber as she purposely bumped into Cherry on the way to the stage.

“Oh yeah! We’ll see about that.” said Cherry as she huffed after Amber.

“Good Luck.” called Rose.

Mari walked up to Rose. “You & your friend did well in round 1.” said Mari.

“Oh thank you.” said Rose.

“welcome.” smiled Mari.

Cherry & Amber made their way to the stage.
“Trainers ready, bring out your pokemon.” said Allura.

“Pikachu!” said Cherry, “Cyndaquil!” said Amber.

“Begin!” said Allura.

“Cyndaquil, flamethrower!” said Amber.

“Pikachu use Surf!” said Cherry.

“WHAT!” yelled Amber.

The surf engulfed the flamethrower and Cyndaquil, the fire pokemon, was pushed into the wall by the wave. When the water went away, a fainted Cyndaquil was revealed.

“A ONE HIT-KO!!!!!!” said Allura.

“Oh….well then.” blushed Cherry.

“Are you kidding me!!” groaned Amber as she returned Cyndaquil.

“Cherry is moving onto round 3!” said Allura.

The crowd laughed at Amber as she and Cherry walked to the back, Amber then quickly left the trainer’s room.
“Great way to shut her up.” said Rose.

“Yup, oh Hi!” said Cherry to Mari.

“Hey.” said Mari.

“I’m Cherry Blossom.” said Cherry.

“Marigold Pine, I prefer Mari.” said Mari.

Mari and her Lavitar defeated a trainer named Flynt & his Ponyta, then Rose & Charmander defeated a trainer named Rocky & her Machop.
“Now let’s see the Round 3 matchups!” said Allura.

The matchups were Cherry vs Mari and Rose vs a trainer named Haile Frost
“So we're next.” said Cherry.

“Good Luck.” said Mari.

Cherry & Mari took their places on the stage.
“Trainers bring out your pokemon.” said Allura.

“Bulbasaur!” said Cherry, “Sylveon!” said Mari.

“Ready go!” said Cherry.

“Sludge bomb!” said Cherry.

“Jump to Dodge!” said Mari.

Sylveon jumped over the purple sludge ball, making Cherry lose points.
“Psyshock!” said Mari.

6 purple crystals appeared and were launched at Bulbasaur as Sylveon fell to the ground.
“Vine Whip!” said Cherry.

Bulbasaur was able to use vine whip to knock the psyshock away, making Mari lose points.

“Shadow Ball!” said Mari.

Sylveon made a purple ball appear and she launched it at Bulbasaur.
“Dodge!” said Cherry, Bulbasaur dodged and Mari lost points.

“Now tackle!” said Cherry.

Bulbasaur ran straight towards Sylveon right as Bulbasaur got close. “Sylveon jump!” said Mari.

Sylveon jumped over Bulbasaur, Cherry lost points. “Now Catch it!” said Cherry. 
Bulbasaur caught Sylveon in her vines, now Mari lost points.
“Hmmm… nice job.” said Mari.

“Thanks.” said Cherry.

“Psyshock!” said Mari.

Sylveon fired a quick Psyshock which hit Bulbasaur right on the head, making Bulbasaur let go & Cherry lost points.
“Sludge Bomb!” said Cherry.

“Psyshock!” said Mari.

Both Psychock & Sludge Bomb hit and both trainers lost points. Bulbasaur was struggling to stand.
“Shadow Ball!” said Mari.

“Use your vines to block.” said Cherry.

The shadow ball was blocked, but it still pushed the grass pokemon backwards.
“And that’s time!!!!” announced Allura.

Everyone looked at the scoreboard and saw that Mari was just a fraction ahead of Cherry.
“The winner & moving to the finals is Mari!!!!” said Allura to the applause of the crowd.

The two trainers & their pokemon walked to each other.
“Great Battle.” said Mari, holding out a hand.

“You two.” said Cherry, accepting the handshake.

After Rose won her battle, she & Mari took their places on the stage for the finals.
“It’s time for the finals to begin!” said Allura.

“Totodile!” said Mari, “Mankey!” said Rose as they brought their pokemon out.

“Trainers ready? Begin!” said Allura.

“Totodile, water gun.” said Mari.

“Mankey, Ice Punch.” said Rose.

Mankey’s fist glowed blue as he punched the water gun, freezing it. The water gun then fell and shattered when it hit the ground, which lost Mari  points.
“Totodile, Ice Beam.” said Mari.

“Mankey, Thunderpunch.” said Rose.

Mankey’s fist glowed yellow with electricity coming off it, Mankey punched into the ice beam which in-cased the fighting type’s hand in ice, which lost Rose points.
“Nice.” said Mari.

“Quick, use your other hand.” said Rose.

Mankey lit up his other hand and quickly punched Totodile with a super effective Thunder Punch, losing Mari points. 

Totodile landed on the ground, “Brick Break, Mankey.” said Rose.

Mankey sprinted towards Totodile, right as Mankey got to the water pokemon. “Crunch!” said Mari.

Totodile was quickly able to bite onto Mankey’s arm, losing Rose points. 
“Now Ice Beam!” said Mari, Totodile started to cover Mankey’s body in ice, making Rose lose more points.

“Thunder Punch!” said Rose.

“Let go!” said Mari.

Totodile let go of Mankey to avoid the thunder punch. “Water Gun!” said Mari. “Brick Break.” said Rose.

Mankey broke up the water gun with a brick break and then broke himself out of the ice.
“TIME’S UP!!!!!” announced Allura.

Everyone locked up at the scoreboard and it showed Rose with more points than Mari.
“The winner of the Las Pegasus Contest is Rose Wood!” said Allura.

“OH MY GOSH!!!!” celebrated Rose.

Rose was presented with the Wind Ribbon & excitedly went back into the trainer’s room. Mari & Rose changed back into their regular clothes and after their pokemon where healed were sitting on a bench next to the practice field behind the Pokemon Center.

“Great Job.” said Cherry.

“Thank you, you did great as well.” said Rose.

“Not as good as you though.” said Cherry.

Mari, who had changed into her regular clothes, walked up, Mari’s regular outfit was a black & yellow hat, red jacket, yellow shirt, black shorts and red & white shoes.
“Evening.” said Mari.

“Hey Mari, great job today.” said Rose.

“Thanks, same to both of you.” said Mari.

“Mari, I have a question?” asked Cherry.

“Shoot.” said Mari.

“What brings you all the way to Las Pegasus from Indigo Bark Town?” asked Cherry.

I heard about Reorro from Professor Starswirl and since both the Reorro Grand Festival & Sapphire Conference happen before the Movalo(This World’s Johto) Grand Festival & Crystal Conference, I came here.” said Mari.

“So you're going for both Gym Battles & Contests?” asked Cherry.

“Only Gym Battles, I was curious about contests and wanted to try one.” answered Mari.

“Same with me.” said Cherry.

“How many badges do you have?” asked Rose.

“Only one, I got the Blizzard Badge from the Manhattan Gym Leader.” answered Mari.

“Welp, we're heading there next.” said Rose.

“Well good luck you two.” said Mari.

Mari set off and as Rose & Cherry made their way down Route 22 towards Manhattan they saw a Cyndaquil? Sleeping on a rock.
