Feather Griffin dove down the stadium's slope and hit Indigo Zap's Bey so hard it burst in seconds. "Umm, uh Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, T-The winner is Amelia" the Crystal Prep ref said in disbelief.
With that, Amelia picked up her Bey and looked around. "Looks like everyone is. Thank you for battling me" she said, turning to leave.
"This is boring. I came to this world to face someone strong. But no one I've faced so far has given me a real challenge" she thought but then she heard Sour Sweet say "Seriously, First Twilight and now this"
This got Amelia interested and she went over to Sour Sweet and asked "Who is Twilight?" Sour Sweet was a bit taken back but then answered "A girl that went to our school. She transferred to Canterlot High School a while ago. We tried to win against them in a team battle. But we lost"
This got Amelia more interested. She had heard about CHS and thought she maybe would go there. And now that she knows there are strong bladers there then she had made up her mind.
"Thanks for that" she said and with that she headed for the exit. "Canterlot High School. Here I come" she thought and headed towards CHS.
"NOW, Rainbow Strike" Rainbow Dash said and Pegasus knocked Pinkie Pie's Bey out of the stadium. "Rainbow Pegasus with a Ring Out Finish, Rainbow Dash wins by a score of 2-1" Said Twilight who was the referee for this match.
The Main 7 were currently in a park and had defecated to have some fun. They had battled for a while and now it was time for Rainbow to face Fluttershy. "Okay, my turn. I guess" Fluttershy said timidly. "Don't worry shy. This is supposed to be fun" Rainbow said, making Fluttershy relax a little.
"Okay. Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and began the battle. While Jackalope dived towards the center, Pegasus climbed up the slope.
"Go, Rainbow Launch" Rainbow said and then Pegasus went for the attack. "Here we go, Flutter spin" Fluttershy said and then Jackalope formed her energy ring and managed to deflect Pegasus's attack for a moment.
Close by, Amelia walked through the park but her eyes were on a map on her phone. "Okay, I should be able to find somewhere to sleep" she said but then she heard the Beys colliding. She turned that way and saw Rainbow and Fluttershy battle.
"Maybe I can challenge them" she said and was about to walk towards them when Rainbow shouted "Rainbow Strike" and with that Pegasus slammed right into the Jackalope and aimed it flying straight at Amelia. "WATCH OUT" Pinkie Pie called but then Amelia caught the Jackalope just in time.
"Ohmygosh" Fluttershy said, rushing towards Amelia. "I'm so sorry, are you hurt?" She asked but Amelia smiled and said "It's fine. I'm okay" With that Amelia gave Fluttershy her bey. "That's a nice Bey you have. If I'm not mistaken, it's a Stamina type, Right?" she said and Fluttershy replied "um yes you're right"
"Hey, are you okay?" Twilight shouted and the other six rushed over. "You must have hurt your hand catching a Bey like that" Sunset said but Amelia waved it off saying "It's okay. It's not the first time I've caught a Beyblade like that" After that Applejack said "I don't think I've seen you here before. Are you new in town?" and then Amelia said "Both in town and in the world"
"Huh" said all seven and then Amelia explained "I actually happen to be from the world of Beyblades" and that made everyone gasp. "You're from the other world" Pinkie shouted before jumping up and yelling "That's super Awesome" "Yeah I agree" Rainbow said and with that Amelia said "By the way. The name is Amelia. Amelia Kings"
"Nice to meet you Amelia. My name is Sunset Shimmer" Sunset said and after that the other introduced themselves. But when Twilight had said her name Amelia said "wait, You're Twilight?"
"Um yeah. how do you know my name" Twilight said and then Amelia replied "I heard about you from Sour Sweet"
"Sour Sweet?" Twilight said in confusion. "You see. I came here to find some strong bladers so I went around to different schools including Crystal Prep Academy. After I had defeated everyone there I heard Sour Sweet say something about her and her friends losing a team battle against you and your friends so I came here to see how strong you are" Amelia explained. "If you want to see how strong we are start with me" Rainbow said and with a smile Amelia said "Sure"
With that, both took their positions. Twilight was the referee and the other watched from the side. "She managed to defeat Sour Sweet so she has talent. Hope Rainbow is careful" Twilight thought. With that Rainbow held out her Bey and said "Hope you're ready to face Rainbow Pegasus"
"Cool Bey. I guess it's an attack type" Amelia said and then Rainbow said "You can count on that. And it's strong" With that Amelia giggled and held up her Bey. "See how it does against Feather Griffin" Amelia said and Rainbow said "Cool Bey. What can it do?"
"You'll see soon" Amelia said and with that Twilight said "First Battle" and they both got ready and Amelia took a couple of steps back.
"Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. “3…” Amelia threw up her Launcher forward. "2..." She sprinted forward and cartwheeled. “1..." She grabbed hold of her Launcher as it fell down. "Let it, Rip!" both shouted as they both pulled the ripcord and their Beys flew forward. As the Griffin flew toward the stadium, its outer wings protruded slightly.
As Pegasus climbed up the slope, Griffin dove toward the center. "Go, Rainbow Launch" Rainbow said and went in for the attack. "Alright then, Time for Feather Zone" Amelia said and her Bey was surrounded by a form of gray energy. Pegasus landed an attack but Griffin barely moved and continued to spin.
Pegasus continued to attack but Griffin managed to block them all. "What is going on?" Rainbow asked and Amelia smiled and said "By holding down the center, Griffin reduces stamina loss and endures all attacks. This is our Feather Zone"
Pegasus continued to attack but they didn't seem to do anything and after a while Pegasus burst. "Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, Amelia wins by a score of 2-0" Twilight said and Rainbow muttered "Dang it"
"It was fun, thanks for battling me," Amelia said, holding out her hand. Rainbow took her hand and shook it saying "I guess it was fun" As they let each other go Pinkie jumped forward and said "Please Amelia. Battle me next. Please, Please, Please." and stood right in front of Amelia's face.
"Um, Okay" she said and Pinkie jumped up with a big "Yippie" Amelia looked to the other and said confused "Is she like that all the time?" and Rarity replied "She's the same 24/7 darling." and with that both took their positions. "I have a really fun idea" Pinkie thought as Twilight said "Ready, Set"
"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" Both shouted and both of their Beys dive towards the center. Joker managed to get there first and managed to knock Griffin back.
"Time to have some Fun, Party Joker" Pinkie called out and was enveloped in pink energy and resonated with Joker so it also cashed in on that energy so its avatar emerged. It whistled a human-like creature with pink jester clothes. It had light blue eyes and two horns that were yellow and blue respectively. In the end it was held in two tonfa which were pink, yellow and light blue at the end.
"Now, Party Zone" she called and with that a pink wind appeared surrounding Joker. When Griffin went in for the attack, it went with the wind and was redirected. "Wow, did you see that" Rainbow said and then Applejack said "We did. And it was incredible"
"Now I get it" Amelia thought and glared at Joker. "The gap on the outside allows it to catch the wind and use it as a shield" he thought and then looked at Pinkie. "She figured it out by seeing my technique. Not bad at all" she thought but then became more serious.
"Not bad. But it's going to take a lot more to defeat me" Amelia said, starting to glow gray with some gold in it. "Griffin" she called, resonating with the Griffin so its avatar appeared. It whistled a Griffin with black feathers. The rear body was gray and its wings were several shades of gray and black. Its beak was yellow, its eyes were red, and finally its gills were golden.
"Now Griffin. Make your breeze into a powerful typhoon. Feather Storm" She shouted and Griffin's wings started to shine and then a gray cyclone was created from Griffin. "What the" Twilight said and the others were surprised by the storm. With that, Griffin dove towards Joker and managed to catch it and sent it flying into the air.
"Now, let them fall" Amelia shouted and with that the wind stopped and Joker fell against the stadium wall. When it hit, it burst on the spot. "Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, Amelia wins by a score of 2-0" Twilight said and Pinkie picked up the parts of Joker.
"aw, I lose" Pinkie said but then Amelia walked up to her and said "You were really good" and with that she held out her hand. "Thanks, it was so much fun" Pinkie said, taking her hand and shaking it with all her strength. "Funny. Can I have my hand back" she said shakily as the other laughed and Pinkie then let go.
"That was Awesome Pinkie" Rainbow said and the other agreed. "I can't believe you managed to pull off the same thing as Amelia" Rarity said but then Amelia said "She didn't" and that made everyone turn on her.
"Sure, Both reduced stamina loss. But they blocked the attacks in completely different ways." she said and then held up her Bey and continued "Feather Griffin uses its weight and wings to block attacks" After she said that she pointed at Pinkie and said "Meanwhile, Party Joker used the gap in its blade to create a shield of air that redirects attackers."
Everyone looked at joker and was amazed at his new trick. After a while Applejack walked over and said "Okay sugarcube. Time to meet Farm Bull"
Amelia turned to Applejack and said "Alright come on" and they both took their positions. "Okay. Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both beys flew into the stadium.
Once again, Griffin got to the center first and stood strong there. "Once more, Feather Zone" she called and the gray energy returned.
"Come on Bull. attack" Applejack yelled and her bey delivered several attacks. "Attacking wildly won't get you anywhere" Amelia said but Applejack just smiled and said "Just wait, This attack is wild as a bull"
With that she was surrounded by orange energy and called out "Go Bull" With that she resonated with Bull and its avatar appeared. Bull climbed up the slope and then she shouted "Kick it, Bull Whip" and then Bull dived straight at Griffin and attacked with one of his silver blades.
When it made contact, Griffin was forced out of the center. "Oh yeah" Applejack said and the others cheered. "Not yet" Amelia said and Griffin stopped and took his place in the center again.
"It still has so much energy." Sunset said as she watched Griffin move. "Okay one more time" Applejack called out and Bull prepared for another attack. "Come on, Griffin" Amelia called, resonating with her bey and its avatar appeared.
"NOW, Bull Whip" Applejack called and Bull dove right down. "NOW, Bring forth another crazy wind, Feather Storm" Amelia shouted and the gray cyclone appeared again. "What the hay" Applejack blurted out and she and the others watched as Bull was caught by the wind and fell onto the wall and burst.
"Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, Amelia wins" Twilight said and Applejack looked in disbelief. "How" she thought then Amelia said "There are several ways to use Feather Storm you know. This is one of them"
"Not bad sugarcube" Applejack said, lifting her hat. "Well anyone else?" Amelia asked and then Rarity stepped forward. "It would be an honor" she said and they both got ready. "Okay then. Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both of their beys flew towards the center but Rarity's Bey managed to get yours first.
"Now darling, witness Gem Defense" she said and three energy crystals were created around the Unicorn and they blocked the attacks. "Now you're talking Rare" Applejack shouted, cheering with the other. "So that's your strategy. In that case we'll blow away your defenses. Griffin, Feather Storm" Amelia said and the cyclone was created again.
Griffin ducked and Rarity said "Our beautiful defenses will not be ruffled by any wind" and then she was surrounded by a dark little energy. "Gem Unicorn" she called and then she reasoned with the Unicorn so its avatar appeared. It featured a unicorn wearing white armor with purple detailing. Its mane and tail were purple and arranged so that it waved in the wind. Finally, its horn was made of a sharp diamond.
Griffin was just about to hit the Unicorn when its horn started to glow brightly. "Now, Witness the power of Gem Horn" Rarity called and then the Unicorn attacked with its horn. The collision was so strong that Griffin was forced back and the cyclone disappeared. "What" Amelia shouted and the others were shocked. "What the hay was that" Applejack said in disbelief and Twilight replied "A Counter Attack"
The attack was so strong that Griffin flew against the wall and flew into the air. "Alright, Rarity wins" Rainbow said but then Amelia began to reason with Griffin and began to roar. At that moment, Griffin created another cyclone and began to dive rapidly. "NOW, Storm Strike" she called and then Griffin landed right on the Unicorn and it burst. It took a while before everyone realized what was happening but after a few seconds Twilight said "Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, Amelia wins"
"Oh my" Rarity said and then Amelia picked up her bey. "That was Awesome" Rainbow said walking over to Amelia. "That attack was incredible" said and then Sunset said "Agreed. That was really powerful" With that Amelia smiled and said "Thanks"
But just then a low rumbling sound was heard. they all turned to the direction it had come from and laid their eyes on Pinkie pie. "Sorry. So much excitement makes me hungry" she said but then another coo was heard from Amelia. "Heh heh. Guess I've built up an appetite too" she said, blushing a little.
"Okay, then we'll have a food break. Do you want to join us, Amelia?" Applejack asked and Amelia smiled and said "Yes please"
"Mm, that was so good," Amelia said, placing her hand on her stomach. They had all eaten sandwiches that Applejack had prepared for them and they had Pinkie's cupcakes as desserts. With everyone done, Twilight walked up to Amelia and said "Um, Amelia. Can I ask something?" Amelia turned to her and said "Sure Twilight, What is it?"
With that Twilight held up her bey and asked "Do you want to battle?" The other looked at Twilight in surprise because she's not usually the one to ask about battles. She is usually the referee or analyzes the battle. Amelia looked at Twilight and said "Sure. Sounds fun"
"Are you sure Twi?" Sunset asked and twilight turned to her and said "I am" Sunset could tell Twilight wanted this so she smiled and said "Okay Go Big"
With that both took their positions and Applejack walked up and said "I can be the ref. Is that okay?" and then Amelia said "Works for me" and Twilight nodded. With that they both got ready but before Twilight took out her Launcher she did something with her Bey.
"Ready y'all!, Set" Applejack said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" Both shouted and both Beys flew towards the center with Twilight's getting there first. "Now Athena" she called out and reasoned with her Bey so it's avatar appeared.
"Send them to pack Griffin. Feather Storm" Amelia shouted and the cyclone came back and Griffin dived straight for Athena. "Raise your shield now. Wise Guard" Twilight called and Athena created a shielding dome around her and when Griffin tried to attack the dome blocked all attacks.
"Check it out. Twi manages to stop all the attacks" Rainbow said and everyone was impressed with Twilight's move. "But how can Athena block all hits?" Sunset asked but at that moment Amelia noticed something.
"Now I see. By putting the shields over the gap between the blades, Athena is almost a perfect circle" she thought and smiled then thought "This just got really interesting"
With that Amelia started to glow with the same energy and called out "Griffin" and then she resonated with her bey and it's avatar appeared. At that moment the cyclone stopped and Griffin dove straight towards Athena. "That won't work" Twilight said but then Griffin flew right past Athena.
"What" Twilight said when she saw it. "She missed" Rainbow said happily but then Sunset said "No, The attack is coming now" and everyone turned to her. With that, Griffin crashed into the road and jumped straight up. "Oh no" Rarity said and then Fluttershy said "Is it" and at that moment another cyclone appeared and Griffin dove straight towards Athena.
"Swoop down, Storm Strike" Amelia shouted and Griffin landed right on top of Athena. With that the dome pole disappeared and Athena flew towards the wall. It hit hard but managed to hold on. Griffin on the other hand started to slow down. "Yay, Twilight will win" Pinkie shouted and the others cheered as Amelia grunted that the attacks didn't end it. But just as Griffin was about to taunt, Athena snapped and everyone gasped.
Applejack looked at both beys and then said "Feather Griffin with a Burst Finish, Amelia wins" When twilight heard that she lowered her head and said "I lost. I was sure I could win" but then Amelia walked up and said "You were incredible"
Twilight looked up at Amelia and said "Huh, but I lost" Amelia smiled hearing that and said "Maybe, but you had a perfect strategy. If I hadn't given my all I would have lost"
Twilight smiled as she heard Amelia's words but then Rainbow asked "what strategy?" and then Amelia explained "Her strategy of using defense mode" and that made everyone turn to each other asking "defense mode?"
With that, Twilight held up her bey, revealing that its gold shields were now between its two blades. "Ooh. It's different" Pinkie said and then Twilight said "By having the shields like this there are no gaps and Athena's defense power is increased"
"And since it had more defense it could withstand any attacks much better" Sunset said and Twilight nodded. Everyone was impressed with Twilight's new technique and with that Sunset said "Hey Amelia"
With that she turned to Sunset and said "Yeah, what is it?" And with that Sunset said "I want a round" Everyone looked at Sunset in surprise. "Are you sure? Not to brag. But I just won against five of your friends with a burst each time. What chance do you think you have?" she said but Sunset just stood there with a confident look on her face.
With that Amelia smiled and said "Okay. This is going to be fun. Let's go" and they both took their positions. Twilight was the referee again and stood up saying "First Battle" and both of them locked their Beys. "Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted, pulling on their ripcords and Launch on their Beys.
Griffin managed to get back to the middle as Phoenix went for an attack. "Now Phoenix, Flare Launch" Sunset called and Phoenix began to attack.
"Show them Griffin, Feather Zone" Amelia shouted and then Griffin was enveloped in the gray energy again. The Phoenix attacked several times but they did no damage. "Oh no, it's going exactly like Rainbow's match" Rarity said and the others got worried. After a while Phoenix climbed up the slope and then dived down.
"Now, Flare Whip" she called, sweeping her hand. When the Phoenix blade caught its scarlet fire, it attacked Griffin hard. "Now Griffin, Feather Storm" Amelia called and its cyclone appeared and stopped the attack and then sent Phoenix up into the air.
"Ahh, Phoenix" Sunset called out as the Phoenix flew up and fell against the wall. But just as the Phoenix hit the wall, it bounced out of the stadium and landed on the ground.
"Feather Griffin with a Ring Out Finish, Amelia leads by a score of 1-0" Twilight said and Amelia looked confused. "I don't understand, How could she survive my attack" she thought looking at Sunset who had picked up her Bey.
"You were lucky there. But now I'm going to end this," Amelia said, locking her bey back. Sunset was getting a little nervous and checked on her Bey.
"Phoenix" she said and Phoenix began to glow and the Phoenix avatar appeared in front of her. "Phoenix, I don't know how we're going to win. Griffin's wind is so strong" She said and Phoenix replied "The way is right in front of you Sunset. Are you saying you're going to give up?" But to that Sunset shook her head and said "Never, I'm not giving up. We can win this" With that Phoenix was satisfied and said "Well, if you want to win then you have to draw more of my potential"
"And how do I do that?" asked Sunset but then Phoenix replied "You already have the answer, You just need to see it" and with that Sunset came back into the spotlight.
"I already have the answer?" Sunset said softly but then came up with something. "Wait, If I do this" she said and turned her bey upside down and unlocked a function. When she was done Sunset looked at Amelia and said "Time to end this" and with that Sunset reminded Amelia of someone she knows. "This is going to be more fun than the previous matches" she thought and then Twilight said "Second Battle" and then both took their positions.
"Okay. Ready, Set" Twilight said, raising her hand. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both beys flew into the stadium. But as the Phoenix flew towards the stadium, smaller blades grew and began to fill the gap.
When both Beys landed, things moved differently. This time it was Griffin who went for an attack while Phoenix went towards the center. "What the, It's the exact opposite from before" Rainbow said and the others were also surprised and with that Phoenix came to the center and Griffin went in for an attack.
"Show them a protective flame, Flare Guard" Sunset called, crossing her hands in defense. Soon the Phoenix began to glow and was quickly surrounded by a circle of its scarlet fire. Griffin tried to attack but it did nothing.
"How does she do that?" Rarity asked but then Pinkie said "Who cares, Sunny is Awesome" and with that everyone cheered at Sunset.
Griffin continued to attack but it continued to do nothing. "Grr, how can it not even be moved" she said but then Amelia noticed something. Griffin began to shake, Its rotation is weaker now. "How can we run out of steam now?" Amelia thought but then she figured it out. "Now I see. Phoenix has blocked the gap but there are still small blades sticking out. Flare Guard doesn't just block attackers, it deals damage at the same time." She thought and started to grin.
"Alright now I'm going to show you all what Griffin can do" Amelia said starting to reason with Griffin calling out "Griffin" and with that Griffin's avatar appeared and it jumped up from the wall over Phoenix. "NOW, Storm Strike" she called and Griffin created its cyclone and began to dive towards the Phoenix.
When it hit, the Phoenix flew away from the center and started flying up the slope. But then Sunset called out "NOW, Phoenix" and connected with her bey so Phoenix's avatar appeared. With that the blades retracted back in and became as before and with that Phoenix dived straight at Griffin. "Take This, Flare Counter" Sunset called, snapping her fingers. At that moment Phoenix slammed right into Griffin and it caused it to burst.
Sunset and the other started to smile as Amelia watched in disbelief. "Flare Phoenix with a Burst Finish, Sunset Shimmer wins by a score of 2-1" Twilight said and then the Main 7 started cheering. Amelia was still surprised at the loss but then took her bey and went over to Sunset who celebrated with the other.
"Hey, Sunset" she said, causing Sunset to turn towards her. With that Amelia held out her hand and said "That was Awesome. I had so much fun" Hearing that made Sunset smile and then took Amelia's hand. "I had fun too" she said and after a while both hands let go.
They smiled at each other but then Fluttershy noticed something. "Oh my, look" she said pointing to the sky. It had become so late that it was almost time for dinner. When Amelia saw that, she started freaking out and said "Oh no. I was so distracted with the battles that I haven't arranged a place to stay"
But when Pinkie heard that she jumped forward and said "Come with us, We had planned a sleepover at my place and you can join" and then Pinkie turned to the other who smiled and Sunset said "I don't see why not"
Amelia thought for a moment but with her choices being pretty limited she said "That sounds fun, I'm in" With that Pinkie jumped around like a kangaroo and Amelia looked at her confused. "It's best you don't complain about it" Sunset said and Amelia decided to do as she was told.
With that decided, the eight girls started walking towards Pinkie Pie's house and as they walked, Amelia thought of something and started to smile. "I came here to find strong bladers, but now I find that but also friends. Now that's a win-win" she thought and joined her new friends and rivals.
