"OCTOBER'S HERE!" Pinkie shrieked happily.
"Pinkie!" Twilight said rolling her eyes. "October was here thirty days ago."
"I know, but it's fun to say that on Halloween!" Pinkie said.
"Come on lets go." Twilight said.
Twilight and Pinkie walked out of the Twilight's house. They looked around and saw many ponies giving candy to the fillies.
"This Halloween is going to be THE BEST HALLOWEEN EVER!!" Pinkie Pie screamed.
Everypony looked at her.
"Uh, let's move on." Twilight said. "Let's see how the Nightmare Night festival is going."
Pinkie and Twilight walked into the town.
There was the same apple pit and same spider web game. There were also drinks in orange and black cups.
They saw a mummy walk by them.
"Hullo." it said.
"Lyra?" Twilight said, studying the mummy closely.
"Right you are Ms.Sparkle!" the mummy said. "Happy Halloween!"
Lyra walked away.
"Wow I haven't seen that costume before." Pinkie said, pointing at a colt with what seemed as snake coming out of his body. "Actually, I haven't seen him before."
"Let me guess." Twilight began.
"It's time to make a new friend!" Pinkie finished, her eyes sparking in the starless sky.
Twilight and Pinkie walked towards the colt.
"Hey! My name is Pinkie Pie! This is Twilight. Welcome to Ponyville!" Pinkie said, sticking her front hoof out.
The colt looked up, surprised.
"Happy to meet you." he said in a deep voice.
One of the snakes reached out and wrapped itself around Pinkie's hoof.
"Eek!" she gasped and staggered back. "A real snake! How did you do it?"
"No time for questions." he said.
He turned around and started to walk away.
"Wait, you didn't tell us your name!" Pinkie yelled back to him.
He turned around.
"Call me Coman." he said in a sinister voice. "I'll bet you'll remember that, sooner or later."
He laughed and walked away.
"Hm, I wonder what he meant by that." Twilight said, staring into the sky.
"Hey look, there's Zecora!" Pinkie said.
Zecora wasn't dressed in any costume.
"Zecora!" Pinkie shrieked.
Zecora turned towards her.
"Well if it isn't that pink little pony." she said. "How do you do on this fine and spooky night?"
"We're doing great!" Pinkie said. "Any more monster tales to tell us?"
"Well we didn't put much work into the Nightmare Night Festival but I assure you I have one spooky tale to sum all that up." she said.
"Uh huh." Pinkie said, already interested on what Zecora had to say.
"It all began a few years ago, this very night, an evil force lurched up onto Ponyville." Zecora began. "He didn't start out strong, so he was defeated quickly. No one knows what that creature was, but everyone said it was horrifying. Some recall it had to do with snakes. After he was defeated, a warning signal had been made for his return. It rains in Halloween when he returns, seeking for revenge and never stopping at any chance."
"Well I'm glad it's not going to rain this night." Twilight said.
"Hey, wasn't it just like Coman guy? He was wearing some costume with real snakes coming out of his body." Pinkie Pie said.
Twilight's eye grew.
"Wait a minute, I remember this tale. It's in my books of horrifying creatures. I think the creatures name was-" she gasped.
"Coman." Pinkie Pie whispered.
"Yes, and the snakes were coming out of his body just like-"
"COMAN!" Pinkie shrieked.
"Oh no, can it be..." Zecora muttered.
Pinkie looked ready to scream and run.
"Don't do it Pinkie." Twilight said calmly. "I might be overreacting and we don't want to alert no one for something that might not be true."
Pinkie calmed down a little.
"We have to warn the princess." Pinkie said.
"How are we going to find her in this crowd?" Twilight said, looking into the town and seeing many ponies in costumes having a good time.
HISSSSSSSSSS.
Pinkie screamed and turned around.
"Hey where is Zecora?" Pinkie said, her voice trembling with fear.
"I don't know she was right here!" Twilight said, looking around frantically.
"Hey Twilight." Princess Luna said walking towards the terrified mares.
"Luna! We may have a monster on our hands. Have you heard of Coman?" Twilight said.
"Oh please don't mention him." Luna said putting a hoof on her head as though she got a headache. "By the way it isn't..."
Lighting flashed across the sky. Rain began to pour down onto the ponies.
"He's back!" Pinkie screamed.
Everypony looked at her confused.
"RUN EVERYPONY THERE'S A MONSTER OUT TO GET YOU!" Pinkie yelped.
Everypony stared at Pinkie for a second and then started to laugh. They all remembered what happened last year, and they thought it was another Pinkie prank.
"Yeah listen to her." a voice boomed from the crowd.
Everything went silent and everyone stared to the colt with the snake coming out of his body.
"Coman." Pinkie pie said under her breath.
The snakes in Coman's body extended, and grabbed Princess Luna.
"Run everyone!" she said trying to break loose.
Everyone was frozen and stared as the snakes wrapped around Luna's body.
More snakes popped out of Coman's body.
Soon Luna was covered in snakes.
A second later she was popped out from the snake ball she was trapped in.
"Luna are you okay?" the major said, rushing to Luna's side and helped her get up.
"Oh, I'm fine." Luna said with her head down. "But you aren't."
Luna looked up. She had dark green eyes.
"What happened?" the major said taking a step back.
"I was thinking," Luna said grinning. "how happy we will be if you join us."
Snakes shot out of Luna's body and wrapped around the major's body.
Everyone screamed and began to run.
The same thing happened to the major.
After she was popped out of the ball, she too had snakes coming out of her body.
"Hey you know what will be 20% cooler?" a voice said from above.
Twilight looked up and saw Rainbow dash hovering above them.
"Yes sugarcube, listen to Rainbow Dash." Applejack said appearing from the apple pit.
"I agree." Fluttershy said timidly out of the corner of the apple pit.
"Rainbow don't you see what we're going through." Twilight snapped.
"Yes I see. I see clearly. That's not cool. It needs to be 20% cooler. What we need is you and Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said.
She landed near Applejack and Fluttershy.
"What?" Pinkie said, tilting her head sideways.
"You'll see." Applejack said with a smirk on her face.
Snakes shot out of their bodies and headed towards Pinkie and Twilight.
