It was the final month of them being here at the Manehattan Theater. And Nightshadow was helping everyone get ready for their big performance before they leave. And thanks to Nightshadow's music writing and helping Octavia they all decided to perform one of the biggest and most famous musicals of all time: The Phantom of the Opera. And we see everyone ready for the big show. Nightshadow was dressed as the Phantom, Rarity was playing Christine, her boyfriend Spike was Raoul, and everyone else has a part to play.
Octavia was about to open the show with an opener. And she was wearing a lovely violet dress with black lining around the neckline and the midsection. There were two violet sleeves along her arms, with puffy white cuffs at the end. She truly was radiant for this night and feels confident.
"Octavia. Are you ready for tonight?" Nightshadow asked.
"Yes. I'm more than ready. Let's make this show the grandest one of them all." Octavia smiled.
"That's what I like hearing. Now get on stage and shine like the star you are!" Nightshadow encouraged.
The rumble of the applause is heard signaling Octavia's cue to go onstage. Everyone looked on from the side, hidden partially by the curtain, as Octavia made her presence felt, the spotlight illuminated her dress which sparkled due to the stars on her dress. The orchestra prepares to pick up a beat, as Octavia takes a deep breath and the audience brace themselves.
https://m.The crowd erupts into cheers as Octavia gracefully bows before the public’s eye and turns to the side as her friends applaud to her. She makes her exit off the stage and wraps her arms around her friends, with a tear-filled hug.
"Tavi! You never disappoint the audience with your wonderful singing!!" Vinyl smiled.
"Thanks Vinyl. I really appreciate that." Octavia said.
"Now it's our turn to perform. And Nightshadow? Just remember that Rarity's my girlfriend. I know were performing and you have to kiss in it but just know she's my girl." Spike replied.
"Of course Spike. I wouldn't dare steal your girlfriend away. So let's make this the grandest and most beautiful musical in the history of theatre." Nightshadow said.
"You read my mind. Let's do this." Spike smiled.
Then, the actual show could finally proceed. The orchestra begins to play, the conductor was conducting them artfully. The music was quick paced and mysterious, so fast the actors jogged to get on stage, all dress in their costumes and ready to perform.
During the performance we see Octavia watching it from backstage and couldn't help but smile at his talent. Especially when he was singing the Music of the Night. Then the Rainbooms came and noticed her reaction.
"You love him don't you?" Sunset teased.
"Well yes. After all those months we spent how could I not love him? He's kind, gentle, sweet and quite handsome." Octavia answered.
"Why don't you go talk to him?" Twilight offered.
"I can't. The show is still going. And I don't wanna embarrass myself by doing that." Octavia worried.
"She didn't mean during the show. She meant after it's done. We know you were in love with him. So now seems like a perfect time to confess." Fluttershy explained.
Octavia knew they were right. She did love him and after the show she will confess her love for him.
"Ok. I shall confess after the show. He needs to know as soon as possible." Octavia answered.
The girls smiled seeing that Octavia will soon be confessing her love for Nightshadow. After a few hours the show ended and everyone on staged bowed and the audience clapped for a wonderful performance and to remember the famous musical back in the day. And once everyone went backstage and the audience left we see Nightshadow taking off his Phantom costume and saw Octavia coming to him.
"Hey Nightshadow. You were really great out there tonight." Octavia praised.
"So were you Octavia. No one can sing and open the show so beautiful like you." Nightshadow said.
"Thanks. Hey Nightshadow? Can you meet me at the front of the Manehattan Theater? There's something I wish to tell you." Octavia asked.
"Sure. I'll be out there." Nightshadow answered.
Octavia smiled as she changed out of her dress and back into her regular clothes. Then we cut to Nightshadow coming out of the theater and looking for Octavia. He then spots her and went to her and they looked in each other's eyes.
"So Octavia? What was it that you wanted to say?" Nightshadow asked.
"Well...these last few months were wonderful. And I felt like me and you really made a special bond during our time. You were kind, gentle, sweet, and quite handsome. Even though you killed Blueblood you still showed that you were a kind soul and not an evil person. I can't thank you enough for everything you done for me and everyone else." Octavia started.
"You're very welcome. I only wanted the best for you and your friends." Nightshadow smiled.
"Clearly. And I have something to confess. During these months I felt something powerful in my chest. Something that you wanted for a long time since you came here. And I developed that for a while now. Nightshadow what I'm trying to say is..... I love you." Octavia confessed.
Nightshadow was shocked at her words and began to cry tears of joy.
"That's... That's wonderful Octavia. In fact I love you too. When we met I couldn't stop thinking about you. You were like the angel from Heaven that was sent down to protect me and help me feel the friendship I couldn't do years ago. And now that you said that you love me makes it all so much better. So Octavia? Will you be my girlfriend?" Nightshadow asked.
"Nightshadow. Yes. YES I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!" Octavia cried happy.
She ran to him and hugged him so tight and Nightshadow rubbed her back and calmed her down. Then she looked in his eyes and closed them while puckering her lips and he did the same. Then like a fairytale ending they finally have their first kiss. And after that they separated and Octavia lays her head on Nightshadow's neck, while watching behind was everyone in the theater who couldn't stop seeing them so happy together.
"Proud of you Tavi. I knew you had the courage to confess your love for Nightshadow. And now you are his girl." Vinyl smiled.
"Oh this is quite a romantic scene I could watch over and over again. The love of a musician and a vampire. It's beautiful." Fancy commented.
"Me too Fancy. Though Twilight? Can we do something for Nightshadow now that he has a lover now?" Fleur asked.
"You know what yes. All he wanted was friends and love. Now that he has it I'm thinking it's time we bring him to Canterlot City where he and Octavia can be together forever. It's time for him to come out of the lonely darkness and into the light." Twilight declared.
Everyone agreed at her response and smiled.
"Good idea Twilight. But how can we help him get there? Won't the sun burn his skin?" Flash wondered.
"Yes. But luckily I was able to make a special necklace for him that will prevent him from getting a terrible sunburn. Come everyone it's time we pack up and in the morning on the bus we give him our surprise." Twilight explained.
Everyone agreed and cheered as they went to their room and packed all their bags and waited til tomorrow to give him the best surprise they have. Back with Octavia and Nightshadow they held hand and went inside the theater to rest up for tomorrow and knew that they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend now.
