Her vibrant green eyes stared deeply at me as she stated, “I am from Mount Arcanis!”
I widen my eyes at Terramore, “Mount Arcanis? Where’s that?”
She smiles, “I’m surprised you don’t know! Did Celestia and Luna not tell you?”
I frown, “I already told you that I was mostly ignored growing up! They were just so busy with their wonderful retirement and it’s unfair that I never got the chance to have power!”
Her smile lowers and she nods, “Right! Because Harmonia gave birth to you after Twilight Sparkle had already assumed power!” *
I sigh and look off to the right, “I never really had a chance, you know? And my sisters flat out ignored me when I was sent to live with them…” I turn back towards her. “Seriously, though! What is Mount Arcanis?”
“Well, you know how Harmonia is from that island far to the east and basically colonized Equestria with ponykind?”
“No!”
Her eyes widen, “Well, Mount Arcanis is a city of alicorns and it’s far to the north!”
“In all that ice and snow?”
She nods, “Yes, well, they have an artifact called The Crystal Heart that keeps the city itself clear and balmy!”
“Then how did Harmonia get to the island?”
She widens her eyes, “Wow! Somepony REALLY needs to brush up on their history! You see, alicorns are originally from that island! However, many alicorns moved after The Crystal Empire fell and reclaimed the heart for ponykind! Seeing how the rest of Equestria was divided and everypony was keeping to themselves, they decided to settle to the north in the mountains, in order to both, keep the relic safe and keep it in Equestria! That’s how Mount Arcanis was first discovered!”
I raise my eyebrow, “Oh?”
She smiles and nods, “It’s a mountain with a flat crater for a top, so building a city in there was easy, once we were able to keep the ice and snow away with the heart!” **
I widen my eyes, “Oh, interesting! Um, no! Harmonia gave birth to me on the island where my sisters were!”
She sighs, “Right! And you say they never spent any time with you?”
I frown, “Of course not! They spent their days together, but never with me!”
“Did you tell your mother about this?”
I flit my hoof in the air, “She always brushed me aside! “before straightening my neck. “And so, at that point I decided that I should have power! If love wasn’t an option, then I’ll take what’s mine instead!”
“So that’s why you wanted all the magick in Equestria?”
I nod, “Yes! Heading to the Dragon-Lands and getting dragon fire was fairly easy!”
“But you needed more?”
I sigh and stare off wistfully to the right, “I only had enough time to drain one dragon before I was discovered! I needed more to become fully powerful!”
“They fought you back?”
I smile at my love, “Well, dragons don’t like their power being taken away!” before lowering it, “But you never told me your story. How in Equestria does one become a water alicorn anyway?”
She widens her eyes and raises her neck slightly, “Ice giants!”
My view enlarges once again, “What?”
She smiles and nods, “Yup! I met ice giants!”
I frown at this strange information, “What are you talking about Terramore?”
Her smile lowers slightly, “Well, in Mount Arcanis, they tell you never to travel too far to the east and to especially avoid a valley there… “
I narrow my eyes, “You went there anyway, didn’t you?”
Her smile lowers all the way, “I can’t explain it Opaline, but I somehow just felt like I had to!”
I nod, “Okay, so what was in the valley?”
“Well, amidst the snow and winds, there’s a big city nestled in the valley! It’s so strange, but it’s also fairly warm there and it doesn’t seem to be affected by the ice and wind, much like the alicorn city… That’s when I met the ponies who live there… They look like earth ponies, only much larger! At first, I raised my shield and told them to stay away, but they told me that they didn’t want to hurt me and that they were my friends!”
I widen my eyes and exclaim aghast, “And you believed them?”
She giggles slightly, “Um, I guess so? They told me that I was the chosen one as foretold by prophecy!”
“There was a prophecy that a blue alicorn would travel to their valley?”
Her smile raises, “Well, I used to be red!”
“Oh, wow!”
She nods, “Anyway, they told me that bathing in the Fountain of Truth will reveal my true nature and allow my soul the freedom it needs… “
“And so you became a water alicorn?”
She giggles, “And I’ve never been happier!”
“What about Mount Arcanis? Why did you not travel back there?”
“Well, I didn’t want to! I wanted to well, stay in Equestria and meet other ponies, who weren’t’ alicorns, you know? Granted, they aren’t very powerful, but I wanted to see what Harmonia brought here!” she frowns. “Even though they wouldn’t be too friendly to ponies like me…”
I stare at her carefully and see the blank look in her eyes, suggesting that it’s a bit of a sore spot, “And well, I’m guessing you chose Bridlewood because you can hide your wings with a vest, but the horn is more problematic?”
She nods and gazes at me, “Well, right! So now you know about me! And I know why you wanted magick earlier!”
“Well um, right!”
She lowers her view and then says something that shocks me… She asks, “So you in fact, don’t want power now, but your confused on how you feel? Where exactly is this confusion?”
I eyeball this mare and it occurs to me that she’s genuinely concerned for me and my problems when I reply, “Well, I don’t even know if my sisters are still alive and I think Twilight is gone as well!”
“They were all your enemies, right?”
I nod, “Well, them and Sunny, yes!”
She smiles, “I think having less enemies in the world is a good thing!” and lowers her grin halfway, “And what of Sunny? How do you feel about her?”
I frown and honestly answer, “I don’t know!”
She frowns herself, “What do you mean, you don’t know, Opaline?”
I close my eyes, “Well, life is really confusing! I thought I knew who my enemies were! I thought I knew who I needed to be fighting!” and open them to gaze upon her lovely form once more, “But now, you’re here and you’re friends with, with Izzy and Misty!” I say as I lean forward and stick my tongue out. “Those ponies were supposed to be against me, and now you’re all helping me be gay and… and…” before closing my eyes again… “I just don’t know what to think anymore? I don’t know where I fit in?” and turn my face downward.
I keep my eyes closed and I can hear her hoofsteps walking around the table, “You wanna know where you fit in Opaline?”
I open my eyes to see my love trotting around the left side of the gnarled round oak table and turn my head to her, “Where pray tell, is my place?”
She stands just next to my chair and smiles down at me as I gaze up at her, frowning and unsure of what she’ll say next… Then, she hugs me… “With me Opaline… Your new place is with me now… “

“I uh, I don’t know how long we’ve been snuggling?”
“I don’t know either!” The blue unicorn replies while holding me in her hooves and cuddling me under the covers of her purple bed…
“Do you know what time it is?”
“I have no idea!”
“I still can’t believe we had sex twice!”
“I can! I was there!”
I smile and giggle, “Yeah, but you were so giving the whole time!”
“Of course silly! I love you!”
I straighten my mouth and sigh, “Great! Now I feel like I need to improve and be a more generous lover for you now!”
“No you don’t!”
I widen my eyes, “W-what?”
She giggles, “It’s not about what you get Misty! I enjoy loving you and so that’s what I’m going to do! You just have to accept that love and that’s what makes me happy!”
“Oh, wow!”
She giggles and holds me more affectionately…
I sit there in her warm embrace… “For somepony who’s never been in a relationship before, you sure seem to know a lot about it?”
“Well, can I be honest with you Misty?”
“Uh, we’re lovers in a relationship right?”
“A lesbian relationship!”
I nod while still being held in her hooves, “Well, right!”
She sighs… “I have had several relationships before and most of them were straight! Although uh, I don’t think I can do that anymore?”
“Be straight?”
She giggles, “Well, yeah! I like mares!”
I’m silent for a moment before finally asking, “Why didn’t you tell me you’ve had other partners?”
She’s quiet too before sighing and saying, “I was scared, okay? I…” her hooves tighten around me. “I just don’t want to lose you!”
“It’s okay if you’ve had other partners, Izzy! I’m not intimidated! I mean, they’re not here, right?”
She snickers and lowers her grasp, “I hope not! I mean uh, yeah! They aren’t here anymore… “before tightening her hooves again! “I love you!”
“I love you too Izzy! But now I’m really concerned about Opaline!”
“Oh, she can take care of herself! Don’t worry about it!”

“I have no idea what I’m doing!” I say as I stare at the smiling blue alicorn in bed with me…
She giggles, “Neither do I! But I really want to explore!” before leaning forward to plant yet another affectionate kiss on my muzzle.
I widen my eyes and she moves her face back a few inches to continue smiling at me… I gaze at the grinning face of this other pony carefully… Explore she says, saying that she wants to be with me… “Well uh, I guess I’ll try anything once? Where do we begin?”
Terramore’s eyes widen, “How would I know!”
At this stage, my irritation is great! But for some reason I don’t yell at her… The truth is, I don’t know if I can by this point? No… I carefully face this other pony in bed with her and plant a loving kiss on her muzzle… I think I shall give this a try! And as my instincts take over, I find myself lowering my body down hers to bring my snout in between her hind flanks… And before I get to work, I hear her say, “I think it would be a good idea to bring you to Mount Arcanis later!”
I look at her unmentionables before saying, “Yeah, Terramore! I’d like that!” before closing my eyes, opening my mouth, sticking out my tongue, bringing my snout to her genitals…
