Squeaky Clean was surrounded by utter darkness, nothing to see and no sound. Suddenly the darkness became a realm of mist and stars and Squeaky saw many moments of his life, or rather Super Stallion’s life. From putting the sphere on for the first time to fighting Discord to his victory against Grogar. “Quite the life we had didn’t we?”

Squeaky turned around and saw none other than Super Stallion himself. “Or rather, quite the life I had, it was nice while it lasted.” 

Before Squeaky Clean could even say anything Super Stallion flew away waving goodbye as he vanished into a blinding light beyond the horizon.

Squeaky Clean awoke in a hospital bed and saw his darling wife by his side happy to see him awake. “Celestia? Is that you, or do all the angels in heaven look like you?”

Princess Celestia kissed Squeaky Clean. “Yes, you’re still alive.”

“But how?” Squeaky asked. 

“I have no idea,” Celestia answered.

“But we do,” a male voice Squeaky and Celestia never heard of before said. They turned around to see 3 figures standing by the door. 1 they recognized and 2 they didn’t. A tall woman with red skin in a light purple dress with long multicolored hair and a man with long black hair gray skin and a black full bodysuit only exposing his hands, feet, and head.

“Time Wizard?” Squeaky asked. “Were you the one that saved me?”

“Not quite,” Time Wizard said. “But we saw what happened. By the way, this is Astoria, my wife. Her role is rather similar to your sister’s Princess Celestia.”

“Nice to meet you,” Astoria said as she bowed.

“Oh charmed I’m sure,” Princess Celestia said as Astoria shook her hoof. 

“And the somewhat psychotic looking fellow,” Squeaky asked. “Not that I’m saying you’re crazy, you just have this crazy aura to you.”

“Yeah, I get that a lot. My name is Mischief, the self proclaimed King of Chaos.”

“A chaos king!?” Squeaky said as he instinctively looked for his sphere. Suddenly Mischief teleported to the other side of the room and picked up the little pony.

“Little is right,” Mischief said. “He’s like 2 feet.” 

“What?” Squeaky asked. 

“Calm down my little Squeaky,” Mischief said as he poked his muzzle. “Chaos isn’t always such a bad thing. In this case it’s a window to the past.” Mischief then made a portal appear that showed Super Stallion taking Grogar clear off the planet so the blast would only kill them.

“Why are you doing this?” Grogar asked.

“So the whole hero sacrificing himself to save the ones he loves wasn’t clear?” Super Stallion asked back.

“But why would you do such a thing?”

“Are you kidding me? You still don’t get it?”

“No he doesn’t,” a female voice said out of nowhere. A small ball of light flew out of the symbol on Super Stallion and took the form of a ghostly alicorn.

“Mom?” Celestia asked as she was watching. “Squeaky how do you not remember all this?”

“I think I hit my head,” Squeaky answered. “Or maybe something hit my head. Or-”

“Or you can be quiet and we can watch the rest of the clip,” Mischief said.

“Sorry.”

“Lauren?” Grogar asked.

“Oh I was right,” Super Stallion said as he continued flying. 

“Grogar,” Lauren said. “You were so consumed with hate and a desire for revenge for all these centuries. I hoped that 1 day you could have found peace, but you never did.” 

“Of course not,” Grogar snapped back. “I swore I wouldn’t stop until I finally got my revenge. You used me to make you an alicorn.” 

“I never used you Grogar, I wanted to help you.”

“What?”

“I admit I got carried away when my experiment worked. But I wanted to help you. I wanted to help all the ponies and sheep and other creatures. I took you for granted and didn’t realize that until I pushed you away.”

“I guess it runs in the family,” Princess Celestia said to herself.

“My gosh,” Grogar said. “I’ve been blind for so long. My anger and hatred wouldn’t let me see how wrong I was.” 

Suddenly another light came out of Super Stallion’s symbol and another ghost appeared.

“Wacko?” Super Stallion asked as he finally stopped flying from a lack of energy.

“Yes, Wacko still here,” he answered. 

“When I placed my magic within you, I also put my essence within you as well,” Lauren said. “In doing this I was able to find another essence within you.”

“Wacko meet pretty mare, pretty mare really nice.”

“I’m about to die in space with the father of monsters and I just learned that 2 ghosts were spending some quality time inside me,” Super Stallion said trying to take that all in. “Also I just remembered I didn’t clean the floor this morning.”

“No,” Grogar said. “Only 1 shall die.” Grogar put a protective aura around Super Stallion who started moving back to the planet he flew away from. 

“What the?” Super Stallion asked. 

“You were right all along Super Stallion you were right,” Grogar said as he finally let go of his rage and hate. “Lauren, I’m so sorry.”

“I forgive you Grogar, the past is over,” Lauren said. 

Moments later Grogar blew up and the explosion flung Super Stallion all the way back to Equestria. While the aura Grogar made protected Super Stallion he still took a ton of damage.

“There was chaos magic in that explosion wasn’t it?” Super Stallion asked as he had no energy left and was going to plummet right into the planet. “This is going to be a very rough landing, oh well at least I’m going out on a joke.”

After that Mischief closed the portal. “After that you landed back here and the rest as they say is history.” 

“Okay, it’s all coming back to me,” Squeaky said as he tried to get out of bed but was too sore. “But what exactly are you 3 doing here?”

“That ancient ram and that giant non-man eating bird lady opened the portals to various worlds across your entire multiverse,” Mischief replied. “Someone is going to have to fix all that.” 

“And we’re just visiting,” Astoria said.

“To overcome such incredible odds, to use the power of the very multiverse. You ponies are strong,” Mischief said. 

“Thanks,” Squeaky said. “So Mischief.”

“So Squeaky,” he replied.

“I don’t suppose you can heal my injuries?”

“Oh I can do more than that, I can show you the birth and end of time, I can bring you to the very face of God Almighty himself, or-” Suddenly the walls and floors flew away and the others were surrounded by complete oblivion. A giant gray hand appeared below them attached to a giant Mischief. “I can transform the cosmos so that everything is made of icing!” 

Suddenly the room fell back into place as if nothing had happened. 

“Okay,” Squeaky said. “Just gonna pretend that wasn’t utterly insane.”

“Point is, I think you deserve a reward for your accomplishments,” Mischief said. “And as you can see, I have the power to give said reward.”

“So a wish basically,” Princess Celestia said.

“Yes,” Mischief answered. 

“Well I think we can put a pin in that for now,” Squeaky said. “I need to be filled in on a few things. First off, Celestia, have you seen my sphere?”

“...Yes,” she replied. She then reached under the bed and gave Squeaky his sphere. But when he looked at it, instead of the stallion symbol, he saw a skull and crossbones.

“Guess you’re going from superhero to pirate,” Mischief said. He then laughed. “Just kidding, it’s damaged beyond repair,” Mischief added with a wave of his hand.

“That’s what Star Swirl told me when I showed him the sphere after I found you,” Princess Celestia said. 

“Wow, so no more Super Stallion,” Squeaky said. An awkward silence passes as the reality of that set in. “What are we going to do about that?”

“Star Swirl already put a plan for that in motion. We addressed the public and told them that Super Stallion and Grogar killed each other in battle.”

“I guess that’s a good idea, it’s not like they can go up where I went and look. So how long was I out?”

“3 days, 14 hours, 38 minutes, and 17 seconds,” Time Wizard answered.

“Wow,” Celestia said. “Right down to the letter.”

“It’s what I do.”

“So did anything major happen while I was gone?” Squeaky asked.

“Something major did happen,” Princess Celestia answered. “But not while you were out.”

Squeaky was being taken outside following Princess Celestia and his sister Princess Luna. "Well it looks like you and Luna finally worked things out."

"Yes," Celestia said. "I just needed to give Luna her space. Something I should have done numerous times in the past."

"Better late than never," Luna said as she smiled at her sister.

Squeaky was then led to a rather large crowd that had gathered together to say goodbye to a truly special pony. While Twilight was able to stop Grogar from spreading his magic all over the multiverse it took a toll on her body too great to handle. Much like Super Stallion she was able to save the multiverse, but not herself. 

“Oh my gosh,” Squeaky said as he put his sphere away. “Twilight, it doesn’t feel real.” 

“I know,” Star Swirl said. “I didn’t know her as long as Celestia did, but I could tell she was a special pony.” 

The closest to the coffin of glass and gold containing Twilight were Shining Armor and Spike each one crying their eyes out. Seeing Twilight again, Princess Celestia started to cry her eyes out as well. “Oh Twilight, so many things left unsaid. Things that I wanted to tell you so badly but now I’ll never get the chance.

Squeaky got out his sphere and looked at it again before sighing. Once again, he knew in his heart what he had to do. “Maybe you’ll still have a chance.” Squeaky turned to face Mischief who along with Time Wizard and Astoria came along. “Mischief, you said you wanted to grant me a wish.”

“I did.”

“Mischief, can you revive the dead?” Hearing that made many ponies and Spike including Celestia look over.

“I can. But remember you only get 1 wish, is this truly what you want?”

“Yes,” Squeaky answered right away. “I wish nothing more than for Twilight Sparkle to be alive.” 

“Alright then.” Mischief then raised his hands which caused the coffin of Twilight to open and her corpse to float up in the air. 

“Could it be?” Shining Armor asked. 

Mischief then made glowing lights appear from his hands that flew off and surrounded Twilight creating a golden circle. 

“Is it possible?” Spike asked.

The circle got smaller and smaller until it became an aura to Twilight who suddenly opened her eyes when the light entered her body. Every creature was shocked and amazed as Twilight was gently placed back on the ground. Twilight was suddenly rushed by all those that gathered by her coffin. 

“It’s a miracle,” Star Swirl said, who nearly did a backflip.

After gathering around Twilight the others gathered around Mischief to thank him for what he did. Except for Princess Celestia who pulled Twilight into a hug. “When I sent you to Ponyville, I had high hopes. When you became Princess of Friendship I knew I made the right choice, but nothing could prepare me for how proud I am right now. Equestria is definitely in the right hooves. You are ready.” 

“Thank you,” Twilight said. “All I’ve wanted is to make you proud.”

“You’ve done more than that,” Princess Celestia replied as she hugged a little tighter. “...I love you Twilight. Just like one of my daughters.” 

Twilight was shocked to hear that last part but knew how to reply all the same. “I love you too Celestia, just like a second mother.” 

“So what are we going to do with all those others from other dimensions?” Swift Sweep asked. “I may have found our backup but it’s not like those other universes had labels. How are we going to get them all back home?”

“On it,” Mischief said as made the portals in the sky come down to him while shrinking until they fit into his hands like a deck of cards. Mischief then shuffled the portals around also like a deck of cards. “I’ll let you know when everything’s settled.” 

Mischief then teleported away.

“So who is that creature Celestia?” Twilight asked. 

“To be honest Twilight, I’m not entirely sure.” 

“Well whoever he is, he can send us all home,” Pinkie Pie said. “In the meantime, how about we throw a party?” 

“A party!?!” Various other Pinkie Pies said when they heard.

“Yeah let’s do it,” one of the Pinkies said. “It’ll be fun.” Pinkie then went off with all the other versions of herself and a strange blue stallion named Party Cannon while repeatedly saying fun along the way.

“And while there is much to take in over the last few days, the main thing on everypony’s mind is the passing of Super Stallion,” a reporter on the news said. “While he was famous all over, the ponies of Canterlot felt this loss the most as we knew him best. So let us take a brief moment to celebrate his time with us.”

Suddenly the news shifted to a young colt. “One time I dressed as Super Stallion for Nightmare Night. Now I’m gonna do it every year for the rest of my life.”

The news then shifted to a pony at the party. “I was working at the castle trying to fix the tiles when suddenly I slipped and fell. I thought I was a goner when out of nowhere everypony’s guardian angel was mine too.”

While the party was going on Squeaky Clean, Princess Celestia, and Star Swirl the Bearded found a statue that various ponies made in homage to Super Stallion after his death was announced. 

“This was made in just 3 days?’ Squeaky asked. 

“A lot of ponies were helping,” Princess Celestia said. “Myself included.” 

Squeaky then took out the sphere and after digging a little bit, placed the sphere in a box then placed the box in the hole he dug. “It’s weird, this feels like I’m saying goodbye to an old friend.”

“I could try to make a new one but I made the old ones on a fluke,” Star Swirl said.

“Oh well them's the breaks,” Squeaky as he buried the box. “I’ll miss being a hero too.”

“No,” Celestia said to her husband. “You will always be a hero. You could have asked Mischief to repair the sphere for you, but instead you asked him to bring Twilight back. Your heart was what made you a hero, not that sphere.”

“Yeah, you’re right. Still I’m going to miss flying. Unless you want to make me an alicorn too.”

“I’m afraid it’s not that simple,” Celestia said. 

After that, Sunset and her friends arrived to pay respect to Super Stallion as well. While her friends quickly left to join the party Sunset stayed to talk a bit with Celestia. While she and Celestia already made up while Celestia watched over Squeaky she wanted to talk with her more, they both did.

"I'm sorry that I blew up at you Princess Celestia," Sunset said as Squeaky and Star Swirl went to admire the statue to give them some space. 

"No Sunset it's alright," Celestia said. "I should have waited until you were ready to come talk with me. But I am still sorry about how things ended between us." Celestia placed her hoof on Sunset's head. "Please believe me when I said I never meant to hurt you or replace you. It was just a coincidence that Twilight arrived shortly before you left."

"I believe you," Sunset said. "But I don't suppose you want to pick things up where we left off." 

"Part of me does, but some things and some parts of ourselves are better left in the past. We both changed a lot since then. Though Twilight might like to be your teacher." 

"Perhaps, but for now I like I'll just enjoy life for a while."

Celestia chuckled. "I plan to be doing a lot of that."

After that Sunset joined her friends and the trio walked off but Squeaky looked back at the statue 1 last time. “So long, Super Stallion.” 

Meanwhile Shining Armor was having a heart to heart with Twilight who Stone Wall was with. 

“You were jealous that I was spending so much time with Stone Wall?” Twilight asked.

“Why is that?” Stone Wall asked while he tried to get Flurry Heart off his face. 

“You were just spending so much time together I felt left out,” Shining answered.

“Is during a party really the best time to talk about this?” Cadance asked. 

“After she died I thought I’d never get the chance to talk this out with her,” Shining answered.

“Fair point,” Cadance said.

“Well Shining,” Twilight said. “He’s going to be my captain soon. It makes sense for us to work together.” 

“I know, but he was starting to act like a big brother to you. So I got jealous again.”

“Again?” Stone Wall asked as Flurry Heart, still hugging Stone Wall looked in confusion. 

“I felt inferior to you all my life,” Shining Armor said. “You were such an amazing stallion that I could never seem to measure up to. Maybe you're just a better brother than I am. My own daughter seems to like you better.” Flurry Heart then teleported off Stone Wall and appeared on her father’s face hugging him. “Thank you Flurry.” 

“Come here sweetie,” Cadance said as she took Flurry Heart off her husband. 

“Shining-”

“It’s okay, Stone Wall,” Shining Armor interrupted. “It’s just 1 more thing you’re better at than I am.”

“Shining,” Stone Wall started again. “I’m a horrible big brother.” The others look at him in confusion. “I pushed my little sister away to a point where she ran off and joined forces with a tyrant.”

“Oh yeah,” Cadance said. “I keep forgetting you 2 are related. But you were a pretty good big brother to me, Stone Wall.”

“Sometimes I think the reason I took you under my proverbial wing was my messed up way of trying to make up for being so bad to my rea…to my other sister.”

An awkward silence passed as nopony knew what to say, until.

“Shining Armor,” Stone Wall said.

“Yes captain,” he replied while giving a salute out of habit. 

“I know I gave you a hard time when you were in the guard, but you’re a pretty swell stallion. Even if you do act like an arrogant brat from time to time. I don’t think Cadance could have chosen a better stallion to be her husband.”

“Wow, thank you captain.”

“You're welcome.” Stone Wall then bowed to Twilight. “Your highness may I be excused, all this talking about feelings has inspired me to do the same with a certain pop star.”

“You’re excused,” Twilight replied and with that Stone Wall left. “I know I haven’t been seeing a lot of you lately Shining Armor. But with me running one country and you ruling another, I think we can meet up to make sure things are going well in both places.”

“Thanks Twily,” Shining Armor said. “And don’t worry about living up to your hero as ruler of Equestria. I’m sure you’ll do great things.” 

“Speaking of great things,” Twilight said. “There’s something I need to take care of.” 

Twilight then made her way to where the remains of Discord were with Shining Armor and Spike after catching up with her beside her.

“So what’s the plan here exactly?” Spike asked.

“Discord died when Grogar took his chaos spark, maybe I can give it back.”

“Are you sure that’s-” Shining Armor was cut off when Twilight pulled out her chaos magic and pulled it into a sparkling purple sphere. “Oh okay doing it right away alright.” 

Twilight then placed the chaos magic within Discord’s remains. Suddenly the parts managed to come together, but instead of Discord a goat appeared who would take the name John. He looked around and looked like a newborn child and would quickly lay down for a nap. 

“Well, I guess it kind of worked,” Twilight said. “I think.”

“This might be one of those leave good enough alone things Twily.” 

“Yeah you’re right Shining Armor.” After that Spike’s parents arrived.

“There you are, Sun Stone,” Coal Diamond said.

“Is it time to go home already?” Spike asked. 

“Actually,” Scales said. “We’ve been talking. We saw how much you care for Princess Twilight and maybe we could move to Canterlot so you 2 won’t be apart anymore.”

“REALLY!?” Spike screamed. He then ran over to his parents and hugged both of them. “Thank you thank you thank you! Did you hear that Twilight? We’re staying!”

“Just as soon as we find a place to hold me,” Coal Diamond said.

“Well there’s something else we can try,” Twilight said. “How about Spike stays with me then Spike stays with you and so on and so on. Would that work for you Spike?”

“Sure!” Spike then hugged Twilight again.

After the party died down Mischief had gotten the portals ready and made himself bigger than the mountain to get every creature’s attention.

“Alright listen up you 1 life span 3 dimensional 5 sense skin puppets,” Mischief called out. “Or in most of your cases fur puppets. The portals are ready so meet me near the entrance of Canterlot and let’s get this afterparty started.” The various individuals from other universes gathered at the entrance of the city, including the army of rogues who were all restrained.

“All right,” Mischief said. “Let’s start with the bad guys.” Mischief then teleported the army of rogues to the front and then shot out a series of energy beams that went into the army of rogues. 

“What the?” Twilight asked. “What did you do?”

“I returned their magic,” Mischief answered. 

“You returned their magic?!” 

“Is there an echo out here?” 

“Look don’t get me wrong,” Twilight said. “I’m very grateful for bringing me back to life, but why are you doing this?” 

“Simple the same reason why I’m letting Solar Flare run the universe she took over from Princess Eris.” Mischief then made Solar Flare come to the front of the army and a huge portal appeared right behind him.

“Seriously?” Solar Flare asked. “You’re just letting me rule over that land again?”

“Of course,” Mischief answered. “What would the multiverse be without a little chaos?” 

"Okay first he brings me back to life and helps all the other dimension individuals return home then he does something like this," Twilight said to Time Wizard and Astoria. "Is he a good guy or a bad guy?"

"More like a force of nature/variant/walking anomaly," Time Wizard answered. 

"This probably doesn't make much sense but chaotic individuals tend to see a bigger picture than most others," Astoria said. She then got on 1 knee and put her hand to Twilight's ears. "Plus if Mischief felt like it he could destroy your entire multiverse, so probably best not to make him angry." 

Twilight had to pause to take that last part in. 

“Wait,” a Luna from another universe called out with a Sunset Shimmer from her universe not too far behind. 

“Queen Luna, wait,” Sunset said. “She could be dangerous.”

“I know you’re my most trusted student Sunset, but it’s okay. I have this.” Luna then approached Solar Flare. “Hello sister.”

“Sister?” Several others asked.

“How did you know it was me?” Solar Flare asked. 

“It hasn't been so long that I can’t tell you apart from look-alikes,” Luna answered. “Sun and moon were meant to work together, we were meant to work together older sister. It is time to put our differences behind us, will you accept my friendship?” 

Queen Luna then offered her hoof to Solar Flare. But Solar Flare smacked it away before flying into her portal.

“Re-jected,” Mischief said.

“She always was too stubborn for her own good,” the Celestia of this universe said as Luna held her hoof. 

Mischief then helped every creature good and bad get back to their home universes. “Well,” Mischief said as he brushed his hands. “Now that that’s taken care of, I literally have a million things to do.” And with that Mischief vanished.

“I think we should make our way home as well,” Time Wizard said. “It was nice to see you all again.” Time Wizard then turned to a certain unicorn that had a sheepish smile on her face. “Yes, even you Starlight.” Time Wizard and Astoria then made their leave as well.

This left Celestia and Luna to finally get Twilight cornaration. It didn’t go exactly as planned but Stone Wall helped prevent it from being a complete disaster. 

“Now that that’s settled. Luna and I can finally go to the Isle of the Ancients with our families. 

“You know,” Twilight said. “I never asked. What did you name your children?”

“Well,” Celestia said. “It took Luna and I a while.”

“But we finally settled on names for all of them,” Luna added. “We named the pegasus Dawning Shield, the earth pony Astelle, and the unicorn Nyx.”

“As for my children,” Celestia said. “I named the earth pony Lauren after my mother, the pegasus Wishwash my former captain of the guard and Squeaky’s grandfather.”

“Your grandfather was captain of the guard before Stone Wall?” Twilight asked.

“Yes, but that’s another story,” Squeaky answered. 

“So what did you name the unicorn?” Twilight asked. 

“Twilight,” Celestia answered with a smile which Twilight returned. Celestia and Twilight hugged once again. Celestia then looked at Stone Wall who was rather hesitant to talk to his mother before she left. 

“It. It was an honor to serve you Princess Celestia.” 

Celestia then placed her hoof on Stone Wall. “I’m not a princess anymore, but I’m still a parent. I know you long enough to know there’s something else on your mind.”

Suddenly to the surprise of everypony Stone Wall broke out in tears. “I don’t want you to retire!” He nearly screamed. “I wanted to serve under you for my whole life.”

Celestia then brought Stone Wall into a hug. “You’ve been holding that in for a while haven’t you?”

“Since the moment you announced your retirement,’ Stone Wall answered, still in tears. “If I said something then would you have changed your mind?”

“No,” Celestia answered right away. “I’ve made up my mind.” Celestia hugged Stone Wall a little tighter. “I know this must be hard for you, but I need to be strong so you can look after Twilight. I’m sure you 2 will be an amazing team. And besides, just because I’m retiring doesn’t mean you won’t see me anymore. I’ll need somepony to watch their younger siblings so Squeaky and I can have some alone time.”

“What?” Stone Wall asked as he and Celestia stopped hugging. “But you gave birth to them. I was just-”

“That changes nothing,” Celestia said as she comforted her former captain of the guard. “You are my son, you will always be my son.” Celestia then hugged Stone Wall again. “I love you, Stone Wall.”

“I-I love you too, mommy.” 

After they stopped hugging again Cozy Glow went over to Stone Wall. “Are you okay daddy?”

“No Cozy I’m not,” Stone Wall answered as he wiped the tears from his face. “But I will be.” 

"Also Star Swirl," Swift Sweep said. "We didn't name any of them after you to avoid confusion since we're sure you'll be visiting your grandfoals a lot."

"Wise decision," Star Swirl said.

After that the royal pony sisters and their husbands said goodbye as they took their children to the Isle of the Ancients.

“Quite a few adventures we’ve been on,” Squeaky said as he was on Celestia’s back while holding his children. “What’s next?”

“Happily ever after,” Celestia answered as they all flew off into the horizon.

Many moons later Twilight had adjusted to ruling Equestria and would ensure its peace and prosperity for many moons to come. With the help from Spike who Twilight made her royal advisor. While he dated Rarity a little bit they both agreed to call it off and stay close friends, while short their relationship gave Spike more courage and passion. This helped him win the heart of an orange scaled green dragon named Emziko.

She also had help from Stone Wall who proudly served as her captain of the royal guard. But in time he would retire and marry Sapphire Shores then pass the torch to her adopted daughter Cozy Glow.

“All right you sissy stallions let me see you sweat!” Cozy ordered. 

“Again?” A guard asked. 

“Yes again.” 

“Sheesh,” an older guard said. “And I thought her dad was a slave driver.”

“Oh golly, did you actually just insult my daddy in front of me?” Cozy asked before dropping her cute demeanor. “I’ll deal with you later.” 

After getting together with her friends and dropping her student off at the School of Friendship, Star Swirl would take John to the castle. Having used a time spell to take himself to the present and after teaching him a thing or 2, he decided to take him to Twilight to overlook the rest of his training.
