//------------------------------// // The Search for Aquarius Part 1: Getting Dressed // Story: The Dragon Sisters // by Mechazilla88 //------------------------------// In the next morning and near a cliff side on the outskirts of Canterlot City, the dragon sisters were around a bonfire, roasting some wild game they caught. Voltina was munching on a cooked rabbit before speaking up, “Tho howth are weth thuppoth tho fith Aquariuth thow?” She asked with food still in her mouth. “Voltina, how many times do we have to tell you to not talk with your mouth full?” Fira berated her sister. With a growl and a roll of her eyes, the electric dragon swallowed her breakfast before repeating herself. “I said: So how are we supposed to find Aquarius now?” “Voltina brings up a good question,” Venta said, “Lest we get unwanted attention again, we can’t just fly around and hope we spot him.” “Indeed, Venta. We need to be more subtle and discreet.” Fridgia stated. ”We must blend in with the humans to hide in plain sight.” Voltina looked up at her sister, with eyes of wonder, as if knowing where they were going. “Y-Y-You don’t mean…” Voltina began. “Yes little sister, we must disguise ourselves as humans.” Fridgia answered. ”Fira, do you have the clothes?” “I had to scare a few humans, but I’ve got them,” The fire dragon said, presenting her latest steal of clothes from the mall. “Couldn’t you have just roasted ‘em?” Voltina asked. Fira glared at her sister, ”If I did that little sister then I would be no better than the monsters who slaughtered our people and took Aquarius from us!” She chastised. Voltina just rolled her eyes before saying, “Whatever. So, any ideas where any of these go on our bodies?” “I may have a solution to that.” Venta spoke up before her gem let up and dozens of magazines came pouring out of it. Each and every one of them were about clothes. Voltina sighed, “Welp, let’s do this then.” All of their gems lit up and there was a flash of blinding light… Hydra In a barely lit room, a large, burly figure was watching the Rainbooms and the dragon sisters duking it out from a large monitor while smoking a cigar. After a few minutes, the footage ends. The figure turned to a smaller man beside him, “Is this all of it?” He asked in a deep, growly voice. “Yes sir,” The assistant simply replied, “This was all our operative was able to retrieve.” “I see. And there were no other dragons? Just these five?” “It would appear so sir. As you may already know, all this occurred in Canterlot City. It has been a hot spot for magical incidents and has been on our radar for quite some time.” The assistant said as he showed his superior videos of Princess Twilight and her friends fight with a demon Sunset Shimmer, the Rainbooms magical music battle with the Dazzlings, Daydream Shimmer’s duel with Midnight Sparkle, and lastly the girls squaring off against Gaia Everfree. “I don’t need a history lesson. I’m well aware of the happenings in that city.” The figure said, “Still, it confirms our suspicions that there’s a portal somewhere there if those particular dragons have shown up in our world.” “You sound like you know them sir.” “You could say that…” The figure replied, “Where are they now?” “Unknown sir. Though we do have reasons to believe that they may still be somewhere around the city.” “I see,” The figure said as he flicked his cigar away before grabbing a gas mask that looked akin to a snarling beast and putting it on. He then turned to the assistant, “Continue monitoring the city, I have a feeling those dragons haven't left there yet. If they do show up again, I want to be the first to know.” The assistant nodded, “Yes… Commander Behemoth.” ”UGH! These freaking pants and underwear feel like they’re crawling up my butt or something! I mean seriously, how the Tartarus do these humans walk like this?” Voltina cringed in disdain at the feeling of the unusual clothings she and her sisters had been forced to wear. They all stood, in the light of day, no longer dragons, but beautiful teenage girls. Though they do have some features that made them stand out a bit such as slightly pointed ears, slit eyes and noticeable sharp fangs whenever they open their mouths. The color of their respective manes was also now the color of their hairs. Fridgia looked like a tall nineteen-year-old with brown skin and her hair was done in a ponytail with a bang almost covering her right eye. For attire, she wore a white sweater with matching sweats and shoes. Fira looked like an eighteen-year-old with her hair in the style of a loose bob cut. For attire, she wore a magenta leather coat with a white tank top underneath, red jeans, and a pair of matching boots.  Terra looked like a muscular seventeen-year-old with long brown hair with green streaks. For attire, she wore a brown tank top, making the scars across her arms very visible, green jeans, and brown sneakers with green streaks. She also wore a baseball cap on her head. Venta looked like a sixteen-year-old with her hair in the style of four swirled ojou ringlets. For attire she wore a green jacket over a purple belly shirt, blue denim shorts, and purple go-go boots. And lastly, Voltina looked like a fifteen-year-old with her hair being in the style of a long, wavy side tail that hangs on the left side of her face. For attire, she wore a short, sleeveless yellow jacket over a black shirt with an image of a lightning bolt on it, gray jeans with yellow streaks, and yellow sneakers. “Speak for yourself little sister, I actually like these threads.” Venta said as she checked herself out. Voltina rolled her eyes in annoyance, “Of course you’d say that…” She grumbled. However, this didn’t go unheard. Venta glared at her sister, “Well, excuse me Voltina. At least I make these clothes look good.” “What’s that supposed to mean!?” Voltina growled as she got up to Venta’s face.  Both sisters made inhuman growls at each other as electricity cackled through Voltina’s body while a small whirlwind twirled around Venta. However, they both interrupted when a small fireball came flying and exploded at their feet, causing both sisters to yelp. “Knock it off you two!” Fira chastised before putting on a pair of glasses and brushed her hair. "Stay focused on why we came here to begin with. The sooner we find Aquarius, the sooner we can ditch these clothes, regain our true forms and go home." Both Venta and Voltina gulped and said, “Yes Fira…” Fira huffed at her sisters, to which actual puffs of smoke came out her nostrils, before turning to Fridgia, “Well I believe we’re ready sister.” The oldest sister nodded, “Agreed.” She then turned to Canterlot to which the cliff they were on overlooked. “That city down there has Aquarius’ presence all over it.” She said as saw a blanket of green aura with her green eye. She then turned to her sisters, “Finding him won’t be easy, so I think it’s best we split up and cover more ground.” Fira, Terra, and Venta nodded to this while Voltina chuckled deviously, excited for all the mischief she’ll cause. “And Voltina.” Fridgia suddenly said. “Y-Yeah sis?” Voltina stuttered as Fridgia’s attention turned towards her. “We all expect you to be on your best behavior down there, understand?” The ice dragon said sternly. Voltina gulped loudly before replying, “Y-Yeah, don’t worry Fridgia, I won’t cause anything while we’re down there.” She finished with an innocent smile. However, she crossed her fingers behind her back when she said that. “Good. Alright, time to get moving.” Just like that, the dragon sisters left the cliff and made their way to the city.
