//------------------------------// // Going To the Ball // Story: Scootaloo: A Princess's Daughter // by Big Imagination E //------------------------------// Scootaloo saw Cinderella crying and she placed a hand on her shoulder trying to confront her. Cinderella saw her and smiled happy. "Cinderella. Are you alright?" Scootaloo asked. "Physically yes. Emotionally no." Cinderella replied. "What happened?" Scootaloo wondered "I thought that stepmother would allow me to go to the Royal Ball but she refused and my stepsisters ripped the dress and made me upset." Cinderella told Scootaloo. "So they were really wicked then." Scootaloo realized. "That's what we said dear. But your lucky that she didn't see you. Otherwise you be on the streets." Mary reminded her. Scootaloo hugged Cinderella which calmed her down a little. Then to her surprise she was some magic shining and appeared a woman in a gown. She was nice and pretty. "Come on dearie dry those tears. You can't go to the ball looking like that." She said. "The ball? But I can't go. I lost all hope." Cinderella said sadly. "Now you don't mean that. If you lost all hope I wouldn't be here. Besides im sure you're child wouldn't want that happening." The woman responded. "Um. Miss? Who are you exactly?" Scootaloo asked. "Why im your fairy godmother of course. And I can help you get to the ball." She answered. "You can? How?" Cinderella wondered. "With a little magic of course." The godmother said taking out her magic wand and casted a few spells. First on a pumpkin becoming a carriage, then the mice and animals turning into horses and people and finally on Scootaloo and Cinderella which turned those rags into beautiful dresses. Cinderella's was a light blue and Scootaloo's was a light purple and both of them were wearing glass slippers. "Wow. I look lovely in this." Scootaloo said admiring the dress. "You sure do. Now remember Scootaloo the last time I had this the spell will only last til midnight. So make this count." Cinderella told her about last time. "Actually dearie I made a adjustment on the spell. You see I noticed that you and Scootaloo share a bond as mother and daughter so the spell I casted will never wear off. It's permanent." The godmother explained. "Really? That's amazing. Thank you fairy godmother." Scootaloo said grateful. "You are very welcome dear. Now go enjoy the ball." She said disappearing into thin air. "Come Scootaloo. Let's go." Cinderella said as they entered the carriage. Then they headed off for the ball.
