*Winter's POV*


I was reading a book in the park.

I couldn’t help but think back to my late husband…

Quick asks "You okay mom?"

I could only sigh.

Quick teleports before reappearing with a gray colored three tailed kitsunepony stallion.



*Azure's POV*


All of a sudden, I saw a GIGANTIC nosebleed geyser just erupt into the air as I came to investigate, only to find Winter completely out cold with nosebleeds trailing from her muzzle to... Anyway, it was because she saw a kitsunepony stallion.

Quick was on his back while laughing.

"What just happened?" I asked.

Quick laughs "I pulled a prank on my mother!"

Danyelle soon notices that Matilda was in a panic.

Danyelle asks "You okay?"

I spoke "Something's not right... Ugh.... DERPY!!!"

Danyelle spoke "Azure, I'm sure it was an accident."

I spoke "That mare is accident prone."

Danyelle spoke "She didn't mean to though."

I spoke "Still..."

Danyelle asks "Great StarClan! Is that a bugbear?"

Danyelle immediately flew off to help Spottedleaf and the Mane Six deal with the bugbear.

I couldn't help but facehoof.

Quick asks "You okay Azure?"

"I dunno." I answered honestly.

Quick yanks his mother's middle tail with magic, causing her to jolt awake thus kissing the male kitsunepony on the lips.

That made me snicker.

Shadowed scoffs before teleporting away.

Izzy asks "Who put salt in his coffee?"

"Eh, he's usually like that." I shrugged.

Izzy spoke "He seriously needs a marefriend..."

That made me wince.

Izzy asks "What about Pipp?"

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

Izzy spoke "Nothing!"

The blue maned alicorn zooms off.

Hitch spoke "Hey Speedy."

"Hey, Hitch." I smiled.

Hitch spoke "Zipp and I have good news, we're getting married."

Zipp was zooming about in a panic since she needed her wedding dress made by Rarity.

I ask "Should I help calm her down?"

Hitch spoke "Zipp's spazzing out since somepony sent out invites with the wrong date on them..."

I spoke "Again, it was accidental."

Wave spoke "Nothing is ever an accident when Derpy's around."

I spoke "Don’t you get that she’s clumsy and a bit of a klutz. So of course it could be an accident."

Maylu spoke "She may be clumsy but we shouldn't be so harsh on her."

“She’s got a point there.” I admitted.

Maylu spoke "We shouldn't judge others for how they look and hi Chrysalis."

Chrysalis spoke "Hello."

Sunclaw was sneaking up on her uncle from behind.

Maylu spoke "Seems like Matilda and Zipp are both in a panic."

A lilac alicorn with a dark lavender mane and gold eyes spoke "Hey Azure."

I spoke "Hey Blazing Heart."

Blazing spoke "Been a while since I saw you last."

I ask "Yeah. But what happened?"

Blazing spoke "As you can see, I'm an alicorn now..."

A little tabby dragon-alicorn-Abyssinian tomkit was on Frostleaf's back.

Frostleaf spoke "Hey."

I spoke "Hey Frost."


*At the spa*


Zipp was talking with Matilda.

Zipp asks "You okay?"

Matilda spoke "I… I don’t know."

Zipp spoke "Marriage is a big step for anycreature, regardless if they're immortal or not."

But then Zipp saw a sea serpent.


Zipp spoke "I heard about you from Rarity."

Steven asks "Oh, you know Rarity?"

Zipp spoke "Yes, she found me and eight other alicorns in Neigh Orleans."

Steven asks "Really now?"

Zipp spoke "Yeah but the Rarity you know looks different than the Rarity that I know."

Steven asks "Hmm?"

Aloe spoke "Many of us saw a huge flash of light coming from Twilight's house one time and the next thing we saw was not one but six new alicorns... On top of a good hoof-full of immortal chakats, gryphons, Abyssinians and one or two Diamond Dogs."

Steven spoke "I’m afraid I don’t understand."

Zipp spoke "Well, Rarity's an alicorn now."

Steven gasps "What?!"

Zipp spoke "Big shocker, I know. I was a normal Pegasus when Izzy screwed up on a magic spell."

The sea serpent fainted from shock.

Zipp asks "…Overdramatic much?"

Matilda spoke "It was a bit too much."

Zipp spoke "And he's out cold..."

Matilda spoke "I’m sorry."

Zipp giggles "No no, it was my fault."

Matilda asks "Why?"

Zipp giggles "Not telling."

Matilda spoke "Okay."

Zipp spoke "Not gonna lie but I'm just as freaked out as you are."

Matilda asks "Why?"

Zipp spoke "Marriage is a big step for anycreature."

Matilda giggles "Can’t argue with that, wouldn’t know how to."

Zipp spoke "Yeah."


*Meanwhile*


Vinyl spoke "Ugh no... This won't do..."

Mavis asks "Is something wrong?"

Vinyl spoke "Great StarClan, you nearly gave me a heart attack!"

Mavis spoke "Sorry about that."

Vinyl spoke "If you're here, then your dad can't be too far behind."

Mavis giggles "Heehee, yeah."

Vinyl spoke "I haven't found my zing yet..."

Mavis spoke "Well, my dad already zinged once, so I don’t think that might be happening."

Vinyl spoke "I once knew your mother though... But that was 124 years ago... Some jerkwad of a Pegasus stallion killed her... I killed the stallion in a fit of rage and grief..."

Mavis was definitely surprised.

Vinyl spoke "Yeah but it's not likely I'd see myself at your dad's side any time soon..."

Vinyl sprawls out on a couch after getting a bottle of blood substitute.

Vinyl groans "Not even genie magic can help my problems!"

But then Luna appeared with Cadence. “Mavis, could we talk to you alone?”

Vinyl had gone into another rant.

Mavis spoke "Sure."

Mavis went outside with Luna and Cadence.

Luna spoke "Of the dreams I’ve been to, I’ve seen a strange one where I saw a Vampire batpony stallion meeting with a mare that now looked like Vinyl."

Mavis asks "What?"

Luna spoke "I asked Cadence what it meant, and well… she made a plan."

Cadence spoke "And given that mortals don't last long when their partner's immortal, I was thinking of arranging a blind date between Dracula and Vinyl tonight."

Mavis asks "*Surprised* What?"

Luna giggles "It's so obvious."

Mavis spoke "But… I don’t understand. You only zing once."

Luna spoke "That may be so but Vinyl... No, Melody Song... was close friends with your mother."

Mavis asks "Huh?"

A loud crash followed by a bit of yelling from Vinyl was heard.

Mavis spoke "Uh-oh."

Luna and Cadence were both snickering.

Luna snickers "And cue the batpony."

Vinyl asks "Great StarClan, is that you Dracula?"

Dracula groans "Ugh… What threw me?"

Removing her sunglasses since she kept the lights dimmed in her house, Vinyl spoke "That might have been the dumbass that most of us know as Golden Ingot."

All of a sudden, Drac's eyes had shimmered pink and so did Vinyl's eyes.

Mavis asks "What in the…?"

Cadence giggles "Teehee."

Luna spoke "This is quite the surprise."

Wheat spoke "I agree with you on that Moonbutt."

Cadence spoke "I wonder how the others are doing."

Wheat spoke "I heard that a bugbear got loose."

Cadence asks "What?"

Wheat spoke "I heard about it from Bonbon."

Cadence spoke "Oh."

I spoke "Rainbow and the others are fighting it off though."

Luna spoke "They shouldn’t have much trouble."

Wheat spoke "Neither would I if I fought it."

Cadence spoke "Crazy wolf..."

Wheat taunts "Really? What about you? The mare who’s the alicorn of love?"

Cadence spoke "You're one to talk, you annoy Applejack a lot since you love apples!"

Wheat spoke "Hey!"

Applebloom spoke "She's got a point Wheat, you have a ravenous appetite for apples."

Luna spoke "Shh, it's started."

Mayor Mare spoke "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join these two in mare-trimony. As I look around this room, I can only imagine how uncomfortable Cranky must be. But I also see so many folks from all trots of life, brought together by love. Cranky searched all across this great land of ours to find Matilda, and no matter what obstacles kept them apart, love would finally bring them together, just as it has brought all of us together now. It's remarkable to me how a story like Cranky's search for Matilda could fill this room with such a unique collection of ponies, chakats and other creatures! It makes you realize that everyone is the star of their own story. And it's not just the main characters in our stories that make life so rich! It's everyone – those who play big parts and those who play small. If it weren't for everyone in this room and many more who couldn't be here today, Cranky and Matilda's lives wouldn't be as full and vibrant as they are. And if it wasn't for Princess Rarity's luck, we wouldn't have found five extra alicorns. Two of which are here today. May I present for the very first time, Princess Zephyrina Storm..."

Zipp spoke "Princess Zipp is fine."

Mayor Mare spoke "*smile* Princess Zipp and Prince Hitch Trailblazer! And so, in front of all these loved ones... Cranky, do you take this donkey to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Cranky spoke "I do."

Mayor Mare asks "And do you, Matilda, take this donkey to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

A teary eyed Matilda spoke "I do!"

Mayor Mare spoke "Then I'm proud to say, I now pronounce you jack and jenny!"

Matilda gives Cranky a kiss, thus causing the flameless fireworks to go off. Zipp kisses Hitch on the lips.

Dr. Hooves laughs "Of course! They need love to ignite! How could I have missed it?!"

A smiling Twilight Sparkle spoke "You know something, girls? We are so lucky to live in this town. I love you all!"

Twilight gives her fellow alicorns a hug.

Rainbow Dash yelps "Ow! That's where the bugbear bit me!"

Twilight Sparkle spoke "Sorry."

Danyelle spoke "Silly Twilight."

Sunny spoke "I agree, and here's to whatever lies ahead."
