Starlight’s Dimensional Drama

by Starlight Fan

Am-AH-zon Race

Starlight woke up in a cold sweat. She looked around frantically to see that it was still nighttime and she was still in loser class of the Total Drama Jumbo Jet.

“Another nightmare. I’ve been having those a lot recently.” Starlight sighed miserably.

Starlight looked to see that DJ and Lindsay were sleeping in the bench she was sitting in while Alejandro, Izzy, Noah, Owen, and Tyler were sleeping at the opposite bench nearby.

“I really need to do something to take my mind off these dreams.” Starlight said solemnly before walking off.

As she continued walking, she passed by the dining hall, it was dark and empty, as Starlight expected but she was bored. A look around the plane wouldn’t do her much harm, would it?

Suddenly, she heard a shuffling noise. The unicorn turned her head to look behind her and lit up her horn to illuminate some light, but when she looked around. It seemed whatever caused that noise was gone now.

“Probably a rat or something.” Starlight yawned before continuing her walk around the plane.

However, hidden in the plane’s kitchen was Total Drama’s notorious first boot, Ezekiel.

Ezekiel had only seen glimpses of Starlight Glimmer before as he was stowing away to try and get back in the game but from what he overheard from Chris and Chef, he got the gist of what was going on.

Starlight was from another universe, a universe full of magic, and she was somehow banished here by another villain.

What interested Ezekiel the most about Starlight was her magic. He was mystified that something with magic actually existed. He needed to be extra careful now, or she could potentially blow his chances of getting back in the game.

The sun had finally begun rising, and Starlight finally woke her tired eyes up, thankfully, the rest of her night was nightmare free.

“Zzzzz, Plane. No. Zzzzzzz.” Owen was heard mumbling in his sleep.

“Ugh, would you pipe down already?” Alejandro asked angrily.

“Crash position…” Owen mumbled before flailing his arms sporadically and accidentally decking Alejandro in the face which caused Starlight to cringe.

“Ooh, you okay Alejandro?” Starlight asked in concern as Owen woke up and also looked wide-eyed in concern at Alejandro’s state.

“I’m fine.” Alejandro smirked, which was odd to the unicorn given the circumstances, “Nothing a little ice and revenge won’t fix.” He then muttered under his breath.

“Cool.” Owen sighed in relief before asking, “Wait, did you say revenge?”

“Of course not, you must have misheard.” Alejandro waved off.

“Hang on, I’ll go get Chef.” Starlight told the two contestants as she walked off, though she couldn’t help but worry a little about Owen supposedly hearing Alejandro mention the word revenge.

Confessional: Alejandro

“I’m aware Starlight is an intern and cannot do much to influence the game, but I’m sure it would seem quite suspicious if she is suddenly afraid or annoyed by me. So I’ll have to contain my annoyance around Owen a lot better.” Alejandro said angrily as he now wore an eyepatch, “That will be hard to do considering Owen is a massive idiot.”

Confessional Ends

After a while, the plane landed with Chris and Starlight now standing in front of the remaining cast members in the Amazon jungle.

"Welcome to Peru, the place of the mighty Amazon river. This challenge is called the Am-AH-son race. Teams must hike from the Amazon jungle all the way to Machu Picchu. In among the top of Machu Picchu a golden treasure awaits you. Find the treasure to travel our next first class destination, the losing team may need to send someone home and be warned there are vicious insects." Chris announced, in which Cody immediately raised his hand in fear.

"Yes Cody, the legal department made me well aware of your deathly allergies and insisted I give you an epipen."

Cody reaches to grab his epipen but Chris swipes it away.

"Wouldn't make sense to give it to the person who has the allergies. What if you need an injection when you're unconscious?" Chris said.

"Ooh pick me!" Sierra waved her hand.

"Who to give this to I wonder." Chris smirked, and Starlight was guessing he was NOT over what happened in New York.

Regardless Sierra continued to beg but Cody turned to Gwen and made a pleading motion.

"I'll take it." Gwen sighed miserably.

“What?! Noooooooo!” Sierra cried out in despair, “I’m the only one who knows what sends Cody into anaphylactic shock. Red ants, brown ants, black ants, wolf spiders, and goat saliva."

“Goat saliva?” Starlight asked incredulously, “How did you- You know what, I’m not gonna ask, here you go Gwen.”

Chris then threw the epipen to Gwen who caught it in shock while Cody silently fist pumped the air in relief.

Chris then showed a photo of a Zing Zing, "Also in the jungle are these Zing Zings. A native tribe who never encountered modern man, and they're not about to today, so if you see a Zing Zing do not make eye contact they-" Drums are heard playing in the background and Chris looks over to see it was Chef.

"Would you stop that?!" Chris asked incredulously to the cook who grumbled in annoyance but complied.

"How far is it to Matchie Pitchie?" Owen asked curiously.

"Machu Picchu is a hop skip and a jump from here, plus eighteen hours." Chris answered making everyone groan before he continued, "The jungle is too dangerous to travel at night so a team will have to take a break at dusk and make a camp."

"And am I right to assume there are no tents?" Alejandro asked.

"Correctamundo now since the forest is so vast and dangerous, each team will have a walkie talkie to use in case of emergencies.” Chris said happily as he held out a box of walkie-talkies in which Gwen, Alejandro, and Lindsay reached in to grab one.

“Oh, and by the way Team Amazon, remember how I said you would win an advantage for winning the last challenge?” Chris asked with a smirk.

“Yes.” Courtney replied sharply.

“Well… ever since she’s been here, I noticed the ratings have increased a large amount. And after some phone calls with the producers, your new reward will be Starlight Glimmer.” Chris said happily which caused Starlight’s eyes to widen in shock.

“Wait what?!” Starlight asked incredulously.

“That’s right. For the rest of the competish, Starlight Glimmer is now a full time member of Team Amazon for the rest of the game, or until she’s eliminated. Who knows?” Chris shrugged dismissively.

“If your plan was to have Starlight as a contestant, why didn’t you do this sooner?!” Alejandro asked angrily.

“Because I needed to get the okay first, obviously.” Chris scoffed indignantly.

Starlight then gulped and walked over to Team Amazon with a nervous smile on her face.

“Hey guys…” Starlight said awkwardly.

“Eeeeeeeee!” Sierra immediately embraced the unicorn tightly, “Welcome to our team! I’m so happy we finally get to compete together more!”

“Hehe, I’m happy too Sierra.” Starlight chuckled good naturedly.

She then caught Cody and Gwen smiling at Starlight in reassurance before she inevitably smiled back at them.

As Starlight and her new teammates walked through the jungle, they stopped at a crosswalk where Starlight from the corner of her eye saw Team Chris and Team Victory walking left.

“Maybe we should go right.” Gwen said nervously.

“No, left. That way if we’re wrong, everyone is too.” Sierra piped up.

“Yeah. Safety in numbers.” Cody shuddered before placing an arm around Starlight with a nervous smile, “Just… thinking of our new teammate.”

“Let Gwen decide.” Heather smirked, “After all, she’s the one who’s feeling ‘lucky’ today.”

Starlight raised her eyebrow at that, where was Heather going with this?

“I said I was sorry.” Gwen said.

“If you’re right, you’re a hero. If you’re wrong, we know who to eliminate.” Heather continued smirking as she stood near Gwen.

“Your parents must love this show, gets you outta the house.” Gwen scoffed before walking to the right path.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Starlight asked the Queen Bee.

“It’s the best plan we’ve got.” Heather explained, before she and the rest of the team followed the goth. Starlight sighed, before finally walking with her team.

After a while, Starlight and the rest of the Amazons found themselves in a buggy field.

She then opted to walk next to Cody and Gwen as Cody then spoke up.

“Thanks for taking my epipen. You know how to use it, right?” Cody said.

“Not a clue.” Gwen admitted stoically.

“I get bit. You jam the needle into my naked butt cheek.” Cody commented with a smile which made Starlight and Gwen’s eyes both widen.

“Yeah…” Gwen handed the epipen to Cody before walking away from him and Starlight, “Good luck with that.”

“Was that your attempt at flirting because that was terrible.” Starlight stated in disgust before opting to follow Gwen.

“Sorry you had to hear that.” Gwen apologized after shuddering.

“It’s fine, I doubt he meant any harm.” Starlight sighed in disappointment, “He’s pretty nice though, I don’t understand why he acts like this sometimes.”

“He’s trying to look cool or whatever, but it really isn’t.” Gwen rolled her eyes in annoyance, “Sometimes I wish he’d take the hint and stop flirting with me.”

Starlight gave a look of sympathy to Gwen before continuing to walk ahead.

After walking for a few more minutes, Cody stopped which caused Starlight and the rest of the girls to look in shock at the fact there were Zing-Zings nearby.

“Zing-Zings.” Cody whispered before shushing everyone, “We can’t make contact, stay still and-“

Starlight just pointed fearfully in front of Cody who screamed in horror as a Zing-Zing stared right in front of him.

Starlight then lit up her horn menacingly to try and scare the Zing-Zing but suddenly she felt something slam onto her head and she fell to the ground.

She then looked up to see more Zing-Zings crowd around her team. She tried to stand but suddenly she felt she couldn’t move anymore and her world then went black.

Starlight groaned as she woke up only to realize she was squished in between Sierra and Gwen as they were tied to a tree.

“What the- where are we?” Starlight asked in confusion.

“We’re tied to a tree. Man, you were knocked out for a while, that Zing Zing got you good.” Sierra began explaining, “The Zing Zings tied us all up to a tree and we had to get batteries from Cody’s flashlight to contact Chris since there were no batteries in the walkie-talkie but they were in his pocket so Gwen rummaged through his pocket, but she got stabbed by his epipen. We found the batteries and contacted Chris, but we had to sing a song. Don’t worry, you weren’t eliminated for not singing in since you were unconscious, but now they’ve crowned Heather as their god and won’t let the rest of us leave. Oh, and Gwen’s asleep now.”

Starlight looked to see Gwen was indeed unconscious and Heather was sitting on a throne with a… gold tooth on.

What?!

“Yep, once the epenepen wears off, it knocks you out cold.” Cody said warily.

“Her snoring is making me crazy.” Sierra commented angrily.

“I think you mean crazier.” Courtney growled furiously, “Heather, make them untie us.”

“What if I ask and it makes them angry, angry enough to sacrifice one of you.” Heather rolled her eyes, “I’m pretty sure the presence of a unicorn already freaked them out and I’m not sure if they’ll be so willing to let her go.”

“She’s got a point.” Cody gulped.

“Hang on, I’ll get us out of this.” Starlight sighed before trying to light up her horn before gasping in pain, “Ow! My head!”

“Great. Now the unicorn can’t even use her magic.” Courtney growled, “This challenge is so over.”

Suddenly Chef ran over with a hatchet in his hand, once a Zing Zing noticed him, they pointed a spear at him but Heather spoke up.

“No, it’s okay.” Heather said happily, “If you want to get on their good side, you should kneel before me. I’m a bit of a god to the Zing Zings.”

"Those aren't Zing Zings, they look like local Peruvian teenagers." Chef said before he sliced the rope with his hatchet causing Gwen to fall down and Starlight and the rest of the contestants to get back on their feet.

“But the uniforms?” Cody asked.

“The spears.” Sierra added.

Soon a Zing Zings had their masks off and revealed they were actors as they showed a poster.

"Your actors of a Shakespearean play of MacBeth?" Heather said incredulously

"Yeah sorry for scaring you, Chris promised to get a good word in for some directors." An actor apologized.

“Sorry means nothing. Look what you did to my friend!” Sierra cried out furiously as she pointed to Starlight who was rubbing her head in agony.

The Zing Zings gulped at the fangirl’s tone before Chef intervened, “Whoa, calm down girl. We’ll ice down Starlight’s injury. By the way, you lost the challenge. Y’all gotta vote someone off.”

Starlight was then seen in the dining room putting an ice pack to her head with Sierra sitting nearby.

“How are you holding up?” Sierra asked the unicorn.

“Feeling a bit better, but still in some pain.” Starlight admitted with a sad smile.

“Okay girls, we need to talk strategy tonight.” Courtney said firmly as she and Gwen walked to the oddball duo.

“I’m NOT voting out Starlight.” Sierra said angrily.

“It’s not that.” Gwen immediately spoke up, “We just want you three to vote off Heather tonight. As long as she’s in the game, she’s dangerous.”

“Yeah, I heard from Leshawna what she did in the first season. I’m alright with voting her out.” Starlight reassured the girls.

“Well… you did lead us to disaster Gwen, but I won’t vote you off for it.” Sierra shrugged dismissively.

“Great. Thanks guys.” Gwen gave a thumbs up while Courtney gave Starlight an “I’m watching you” glance before walking off along with Gwen.

Starlight sighed a bit at seeing Courtney still distrust her while Sierra gave a hesitant look.

We then cut to the elimination ceremony where Team Amazon sat, Starlight was still nursing her head with an ice pack.

"Alright, Amazons. Are you ready to find out who you've chosen to eliminate, let's take a look at who you all voted for, just for fun." Chris said happily as he turned on the monitor, everyone including Starlight’s eyes widened.

Voting Confessional: Gwen

“I vote for Heather. The less she’s around, the less she can manipulate Sierra and Starlight.” Gwen said angrily.

Voting Confessional: Courtney

“Goodbye Heather.” Courtney smiled brightly before stamping her passport, “Wow. Feels too good to be true.”

Voting Confessional: Heather

“I vote Courtney.” Heather said sharply before stamping her passport.

Voting Confessional: Sierra

“I vote for Heather. I used to say that to my bathroom mirror all the time, and now here I am doing it. Eeee, this is so awesome.”

Voting Confessional: Cody

“I… vote for Sierra. She’s like the stalker girlfriend I always thought I wanted… until I GOT one.” Cody shuddered.

Voting Confessional: Starlight

“I’m sticking to the agreement here. I’m voting off Heather with the rest of the girls.” Starlight used her horn to stamp the Queen Bee’s passport before grunting a bit in pain.

Voting Confessionals End

“There. All done.” Chris smirked.

Cody and Starlight both turned to Sierra who began sniffling before she inevitably began crying.

“Let’s just get this over with.” Heather said angrily.

“I guess now would be a good time to send Heather out the plane, if this were an elimination challenge, but it’s not.” Chris said happily before blowing on a noisemaker, “Surprise.”

Gwen, Courtney, and Starlight gasped in fright before catching Heather’s smirk.

Confessional: Heather

“Now they fear me, and so they should.” Heather said angrily, “I will make Gwen and Courtney pay for what they tried to do to me. And then… I’ll crush Alejandro for dessert.”

She then began pondering a bit before adding, “But I do still need allies so I better start buddying up with Starlight and Sierra again, and fast.”

She then exited the confessional with a determined frown on her face.
