Chapter 4
Now that we got the information we needed, we had to find out the next phase of the plan. Before we did that, we were gonna need some back up. Luckily, Princess Twilight knew exactly where to get the extra help.
We needed to go to the Crystal Empire to recruit her brother, Shining Armor. Once we recruit him, we’ll have an army big enough to take down Le Paradox and Queen Chrysalis.
Twilight said that the army would help us as long as we explain everything to them. That should be enough to convince them, considering that they almost had a wedding ruined because of Chrysalis. Funny how things work out sometimes.
Once everyone and everypony was at the Crystal Empire, they entered the castle where they were greeted by Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, along with their baby, Flurry Heart.
“Hey Twilly, we got your distress signal, what’s the emergency?” said Shining Armor. He then noticed the Cooper Gang. “Does it involve your new friends?”
“It does, actually. An enemy from their dimension is here to destroy Equestria and their world as well. To make matters worse, he freed Queen Chrysalis from her stone prison,” said Twilight. “We’re going to need some help to figure out his plan, so we were wondering if you and Cadence would be able to help us.”
“Don’t worry Twilight, we’ll do anything we can to help,” said Cadence. “Flash, watch over Flurry Heart while we’re gone.”
“As you wish, your highness,” said Flash Sentry, as he took Flurry Heart to her room.
“We’ll round up the rest of the guards, just tell us where to go,” said Cadence.
At Le Paradox’s secret base…
On the train ride to the secret base, the Cooper gang explained everything Le Paradox had done in the past. They also managed to explain why Le Paradox was doing this in the first place.
“Yikes, this Le Paradox guy sounds like a lot of trouble,” said Shining Armor. “I still can’t believe his dad tried to frame your dad for stealing the world’s biggest diamond.”
“It’s unbelievable, I know. I still can’t believe Queen Chrysalis’s plan was basically marriage fraud,” said Sly. “Anyways, we gotta stick to the plan because the faith of both our worlds are at risk.”
“Don’t worry, we have the plan memorized,” said Pinkie Pie. “Us ponies will distract the evil guards, while Sly sneaks into the hideout to get more information about Le Paradox. Then, once we have the information, we’ll surround him and Chrysalis, and save the world.”
“That’s basically a summary of the whole plan, but thanks for the recap,” said Bentley. “Quickly, everyone and everypony into position.”
Once the ponies distracted the guards, Sly snuck into the hideout. He then used his binocucom to listen in on Le Paradox’s conversation with Queen Chrysalis. “So, what exactly is your major plan, Le Paradox?” asked Queen Chrysalis.
“It’s quite simple,” began Le Paradox. “Once we have enough ponies to carry out the mission, we’ll travel to modern day Paris and use their magic to make me immortal. Then we’ll take over Equestria and destroy the ones that you call Celestia and Luna.”
“That’s what you think Le Paradox,” whispered Sly, as he signaled to everyone that it was ambush time. “The jig’s up, Le Paradox. You’ll never take this world.”
“Cooper! What are you doing here with these little horsies?” said Le Paradox.
“We are ponies, and the guardians of friendship. By order of me, Princess Twilight Sparkle, I place you under arrest for fowl napping these innocent ponies and attempting to destroy Equestria,” said Twilight. “Don’t think I’ve forgotten about you, Chrysalis. The same charges apply to you.”
“Oh, I’m so scared,” said Queen Chrysalis, sarcastically. “It’s not like we destroyed anypony.”
“Besides, we have other plans,” said Le Paradox.
“Then explain yourself, why go after Equestria instead of exacting your revenge on me, Le Paradox. What’s the deal?” asked Sly.
“The deal is that I lost my army because of you, Cooper,” began Le Paradox, “so I needed a way to get revenge on you in a unique manner. That’s when I discovered those magical artifacts from this dimension, and a way to use them to travel here. Once here, I discovered Chrysalis and freed her from her stone prison, and she gave me the idea I needed to defeat you.”
“What’s that?” asked Sly.
“Immortality. All I needed was hate from these little ponies and what was left of Clockwerk, and now that I have all the hate energy I need, it is time to start your end,” said Le Paradox.
He then activated the mechanism behind him, which transformed into a giant mechanical version of Le Paradox. “See you in Paris, Cooper!” said Le Paradox, as he entered the mechanical body, which caused him to become immortal. “Behold, the almighty, time bending, Le Paraclock.”
“To Paris, Le Paraclock,” said Queen Chrysalis, as Le Paraclock picked her up and used the clock in the center of his chest to travel to modern day Paris, taking the mind controlled ponies with him.
“Great, we’re too late. Now our dimensions are doomed,” said Rainbow Dash.
“It’s not too late yet, we can still make it back to Paris, but we’ll need some help restoring the flow of our dimensions,” said Bentley, facing the ponies.
“Hold on, you want us to travel back to your dimension and risk our lives to destroy two of the most deadly people in the entire world… we’re in,” said Pinkie Pie. “But, how exactly do we get to Paris?”
“We can use the Time Machine that brought us here,” said Sly. “Who's up for a road trip?”
The good news is that we managed to figure out what Le Paradox was planning, the bad news is that his plan was already in motion. He just replaced his mortal body with soulless machinery just like Clockwerk all those years ago.
Lucky for us, the Time Machine was all fixed up, so we were ready to follow Le Paradox and Queen Chrysalis to modern day Paris. We figured that we might need some help, so we were glad that our new friends decided to tag along.
We were about to leave this amazing new world and return to our home dimension. I’ll admit, I’m gonna miss this place, but on the other hand I’m gonna be glad that we’re finally going back home. Because now it’s time to save the world.
