The bell rang, signaling the end of another class at Canterlot High. Students poured out of classrooms, chattering and laughing as they made their way to their next destination. Among them was Sunset Shimmer, who was still getting used to her new role as a reformed villain. She was deep in thought when she bumped into someone.
"Ouch! Oh, I'm so sorry," Sunset apologized, looking up to see a young man with black hair and a beige blazer. He had a unique necklace and dark-brown pants.
"It's alright, miss. No harm done. Oh my swirls, this place is so big!" the young man replied, his eyes wide with wonder.
Sunset couldn't help but smile. "You must be new here. I'm Sunset Shimmer."
"I'm Komasan Komaishi. Nice to meet ya," he said, extending a hand.
Meanwhile, in the cafeteria, the Dazzlings were sitting at their usual table. Adagio Dazzle, the leader, was visibly frustrated. "Our spell isn't working as effectively as I'd hoped. We need more negative energy to regain our full powers."
Aria Blaze sighed, "Well, maybe if Sonata didn't mess up the lyrics all the time..."
"Hey! It's not my fault they're so complicated," Sonata Dusk retorted.
Just then, Komasan walked into the cafeteria, looking lost. Adagio's eyes narrowed as she sensed something different about him. "Girls, do you feel that? He's...immune to our spell."
Intrigued, Adagio decided to approach Komasan. "Hello there, you seem lost. Can we help you?"
"Oh my swirls, that would be mighty kind of ya. I'm lookin' for the music room. My little bro got me into DJing a while back, and I thought I'd give it another try."
Adagio smirked. "Well, you're in luck. We're performers too. Why don't you join us for practice later?"
That evening, Komasan found himself behind a DJ set in the school's music room. The Dazzlings were practicing their latest song, and he couldn't help but feel the energy in the room.
"Wow, y'all are really good," Komasan said, genuinely impressed.
Adagio couldn't help but feel a warmth she hadn't felt in a long time. "Thank you, Komasan. You're not so bad yourself."
As they wrapped up, Komasan felt his phone buzz. It was a message from Sunset Shimmer.
"Hey, Komasan. Can we talk? I've heard you've been spending time with the Dazzlings."
Komasan looked up to see Adagio packing her things. For some reason, he felt like he was at a crossroads, one that could change the course of his life at Canterlot High.
