Opaline had drawn many plans in these years to prove that it was needed and important for Equestria and the government.
Opaline had many options running through her mind, and one of the best options was what the three old villains had done, separating the three pony races from each other.

That morning Opaline appeared in the city in a black cloak and completely anonymous to start the first step of her evil plan.
First step: earth ponies 

Just a few steps away near the cafe, some ground horses were sitting around the table and talking. The best opportunity for Opaline was at that time. Opaline threw her cloak around her head and moved towards them.

A few ponies got up suspiciously, and Opaline's plan to move away from the cafe had almost worked, and to continue it, she had to deceive the rest of the ponies and keep Twilight's friends away from Equestria so that she could sit on the throne of Equestria in her place. As she was looking for unicorns and an excuse to fool them, a voice behind her knocked her to the ground.

It was James's pony. James always called Opaline by that name, and Opaline never had a problem with it, it reminded her of Martha. It was just a little different.
