Trixie started to a familiar voice.
”Don’t thou dare to give up!”
It was Princess Luna! Trixie looked around looking for her, but so sign of her.
”Princess... Luna?” She whispered.
It took a while for Trixie to recognise her surroundings, dark blue sky, seemingly getting lighter as it goes on. It was filled with many twinkling stars, Trixie was standing on stars, she looked around confused before seeing the princess fly down to her. Princess Luna.
”Princess Luna!?” Trixie said before bowing down in front of her.
Luna spoke up, “We see thou are in distress, Mrs Lulamoon,”
Trixie nodded before she gasped, “Wait.., is this... the dream realm?” Trixie whisperered as she notice she no longer had any wounds on her body.
Luna nodded, “I brought thee here when we saw thou needed help,”
”I... my whole adventure... was just a... dream?” Trixie said quietly as she processed.
Stardust never did exist, neither did Gumdrop, GameCube, Sunrise, Minty and such... the Shooting never happened, ther were no diamond jewels to collect, there was no adventure. All this time it was just a dream, quite an envebgful one but still a dream, was this dream meant to say something?
Trixie smiled a bit knowing Gumdrop was not killed and she had not failed to save the world. Dark Matter was just in her imagination, so was Nightshade, it was all fake all along. Her whole adventure, all that work she did was all for nothing because it was just a dream. Why didn’t Luna come any sooner?
She sighed and put on a smile and pulled a sly face.
“Hah! What am I saying!” Trixie chuckled, “I knew it was a dream all along!”
There was a pause.
“Mrs Lulamoon, thy adventure was, and still is very real,” Luna corrected.
Trixie let out a very flat, “Oh- I knew that-.”
“But thou need to keep fighting, thou are out last hope! Everyone has been turned to stone except for you!”
Trixje sighed, she was scared and hurt.
“I’m... just a performer! This is like... Princess level stuff! We are too late! I wasn’t quick enough we are doomed! Dark Matter is at its strongest stage! There is no hope!” Trioxide wimpred as she cowered on the floor.
”Thou know that’s not thee, thy determination, optimism, friendship and stubbornness had taken you this far!”
“But what if I wasn’t meant to get this far?” Tricia feared, “I may be great and powerful but... I lost my team! And I can’t even hit the stupid thing!” She shouted.
”But you’re still able to go on,” A familiar voice sounded.
Trixie turned around and saw Twilight. She stood there with a smile on her face, she looked proud. Then the rest of the six, and Spike joined her, standing next to her. She gasped in shock and confusion.
Applejack noodled, “She’s right, Trixie, we couldn’t go any further, this is your mission and we believe in you,”
”Please Trixie, I know you can do it,” Fluttershy smiled, “You may have been a big meany but now it’s your turn to stick up against a big meanie-“
”For Equestria!” Pinkie cheered loudly, “Show that partypooper who is boss!”
Rarity pushed Pinkie aside, “Darling, don’t give up on us, will you?”
”Yeah!” Rainbow Dash shouted, “Kick Dark Matter where it hurts! Aslong as you can stand! As long as you can do magic, kick or even move you can fight! We ponies may be little bit we come packed it’s power!” Rainbow boasted as she flexed her hooves, “And you, Trixie, are packed with the power that’s needed to win this! So do it!” Rainbow Dash shouted like a coach.
”Yeah! Show them who is great and powerful! Like the Wonder Ponies!” Spike cheered, “Never backs down from a villain,”
Twilight nodded, “Yes, we have held it away for long enough now, you and your friends have gotten you this far... but we can’t venture further, you where chosen by those diamonds and Stardust,” Twilight put a hoof on Trixie’s shoulder, “I know you can do it, now go on, make Equestria proud,”
Trixie smiled, “Ofcourse I will, princess... I am the great and powerful Trixie!” Trixie boasted.
Twilight put on a smile as Trixie ran ahead. She ran with determination, soon everything faded to white.

Trixie grunted as she got up, “I may be smaller than you... and I may have made some not-so-good choices in the past..." She spoke, wincing in pain a little. Gasping as she saw the green bubbles floating towards her. She scuttled back in fear till one touched her. Smiling as it unleashed a wholesome message instead of some dangerous attack.
"You are doing great, Trixie!" The voice belonged to Derpy.
Another one hit. "Don't let your ego get the best of you and make you cocky!" Scootaloo said in a scolding voice. Trixie disagreed but, she tried.
"It may sound stressful to have this in your hooves. But would you be chosen if you were the wrong choice?" A mare's message said.
Trixie smirked as she listened to them. Finishing her sentence. "I’m still the great and powerful Trixie!” She shouted, “As long as I’m still here I can still fight! And I will take you down!”
She snorted and kicked her hoof on the ground, kicking up some of the dark cloud beneath her hoof. But before she could charge Light went right in front of her.
”You’re not alone! If I need To fuse into you so you can do the magic thing that will make us stronger. So that way we’ll be able to use an energy blast that can destroy the core in one hit!” It called out, “But, I must ask you a question before I do this,”
”Huh? Why?” Trixie asked, not exactly understanding.
”I... I cannot touch the matter around the core itself, I’m made of light, I will just be pushed back since it’s thick! But if I have a host... the host will be able to destroy the core with an ultimate form,”
”I... still don’t understand...” Trixie said as she cocked her head, “I don’t understand anything!” Shouted Trixie.
“I’m a being from another world with creatures made of light, but... I was created different, at some point Nightshade became my host and we behind a dangerous being! We used the nebula magic and a special kind of matter that my kind can’t touch or they’ll get hurt. But due to me being different it would destroy me if I touched that matter for too long,”
Trixie nodded, she noticed a purple bubble shield around her and Light, protecting them from Nightshade’s beams. She was beginning to understand.
“But the core is made of something you cannot touch or you’ll get hurt!” Light exclaimed, “So, if we fuse together we’ll be able to take now down Dark Matter!”
“Alright!” Trixie grinned, “Let’s do this!”
“Wait a minute!” Light exclaimed. “When and if i remove myself from you. Your lifespan will be extended by at least a hundred years. Maybe longer or shorter if nothing kills you first. But it is likely you will watch most your friends and family die before you!”
Trixie froze. Hearing this, she was surprised. It sounded like a good thing, but watching everyone die before her? She would outlive Sunburst! She would outlive every single one of her friends and would not be able to join her. But this was what she was going to have to deal with if she wanted Dark Matter gone. Wouldn’t it?
Light explained, “Are you sure you want to do this?”
”I...” Trixie thought herself.
She looked around then at light, a tear escaped at the thought of her watching her friends die before her eyes. But, she had to accept, there was no other way. Dark Matter had evolved to be immune to Light and hurt organic life, but with her magic and Light combined they would win. Trixie sighed as she accepted there was no other way.
”Yes!” She shouted with determination.
Light twinkled, ”This may hurt a bit,” It warned.
Trixie laughed happily.
”After everything Trixie’s been through, she can handle a little pai-“
She managed to say before Light embedded into her chest and slowly seeped into it. Trixie screamed loudly, it felt like someone was cutting through her with a flaming sword. Her whole body started to glow white as Light merged into it, as her body started getting brighter. The more it burnt and the more she hurt, she wept a few tears before closing her eyes hoping for the pain to end soon.
Slowly the pain went away, and Trixie opened her eyes and wiped her tears.
“O-ow, you said a little...” she said quietly.
She felt a bit different, more powerful. But also a bit strange, it was odd, she wasn’t used to it.
“What now?” She asked as she looked at her body, much to her surprise it had changed!
She hasn’t gotten any taller or anything but she noticed two lumps under her cape. Confused, she moved it aside and saw she had a pair of partly opened wings. Her face lit up with a surprised and amazed expression as the wings automatically opened up further, they seemed to glow too! They also appeared holographic, they were white and the feathers at the ends were the colours of the jewels she collected. Her horn was also longer, the extended horn being white as well with swirls also the colour of the jewels.
Trixie then looked at her legs and noticed specks on her fur that resembled all the bits of light disguised as jewels she collected. She was speechless, she was about to boast but then Dark Matter shot at her, luckily she ducked in time.
”Oh yeah, Trixie forgot you were there,” She rolled her eyes.
Her wings opened wide, she watched them, she wasn’t controlling them.
”Huh?”
They flapped once boosting Trixie high enough to heat her head on the roof.
”Ow!”
Dark Matter seemed to laugh as the wings failed to flap forwards properly and ended with Trixie hitting a wall. Then her falling to the ground as they flapped incorrectly.
“Ugh... Light... Trixie thinks she should do the flapping-“ She mumbled as she got up.
She dodged blasts from Dark Matter and lit her horn and lifted herself into the air. Her horn glow in this form was still her normal colour, which she found a bit disappointing but she still focused on dodging and hitting. The good news was that her magic blasts were removing a lot of the dark cloudy stuff around the core.
”Trixie is victorious!” She said as she grinned.
Trixie lifted her wings and flapped them and shot the blasts at the same time. She soon found herself flapping too fast and hitting a wall, then again and then hitting the roof and going to the ground.
“Trixie’s sticking to hooves for this battle...” She groaned.
She lifted her head and watched in shock as the clouds quickly restored themselves while she was crashing.
”Oh come on!” She screeched.
She fired a spell again and then had an idea! Trixie ran around and as she dodged a blast coming from the eye she shot towards it. Only for it to move and the cloudy stuff be shot instead. It was time to be sneaky, and she had an idea! She ran around and dodged spells before teleporting herself under the cloudy ball protecting the core. The eye looked around the room for her and when it least expected it, she jumped up and shot it in the eye! Causing the whole ball of dark cloud to go poof!
Trixe grinned happily as she stood in front of the orb that and swirled all shades of reds and pinks. She nodded and chuckled proudly, now it was time for the ultimate spell! She jumped up and flapped her wings and stayed up. Her and Light worked together on the spell that appeared as a ball above her horn as it came out! A ball of magic that was the same colour as her own magic. But inside was the magic of Light, the blue, green, yellow, pink, white and purple jewels combined!
”Wait!” Nightshade’s voice sounded.
Trixie tried to not pay attention and get distracted in case it ruined the blast that would destroy the core. But she ended up listening to what this foul nebula had to say.
Nightshade continued, in an unknown location, “If you continue then you’ll not escape unharmed!” It chuckled, “You may not even survive!”
Trixie was shocked, she didn’t realise she had to die! How would Sunrise react to her death, will she be okay? There’s so much in life that she didn’t get to do yet, like mend her friendship with Starlight! Or go paragliding, or the barrel drop Neighagra Falls! She didn’t want to say goodbye yet, not now! But she had to, she practically accepted this at the start by accepting the mission, assuming ‘no’ was an option. She had to do this. She needed to save all life on this planet! No more spells or magic shows, no more crowds...
But she had to do this, it was either her or everyone else... she worked hard for this moment, she was'nt aware of how it was going to end, she didn’t imagine it like this. Her heart was beating fast and she was breathing heavily. She wasn't ready to say goodbye. But she was here, about to destroy Dark Matter, it was now or never.
Trixie rolled her eyes anterior a long, deep sigh, “T-Trixie... Trixie knows” She responded flatly before shedding a tear and letting it all out.
As the ball of magic burst forward towards the core in a beam of light she was sent flying back into the wall. In the beam her unicorn magic was at the front and cracked open the surface of the core. That allowed the crystal magic to burst inside and destroy the dark magic in the core! It happened so quickly and as result whole thing exploded into a colourful blast!
The blast was like a sonic rainboom but in the colours of each crystal. The shockwave spread all across the sky all around the globe, removing the darkness and healing all injures and damages done by Dark Matter and Nightshade. As each living thing turned back to normal from stone they looked up into the sky to see a colourful shockwave speeding through.
Trixie’s friends stood near her wagon, now looking like it was never destroyed, each one looked into the air with amazement.
“You did it, Trixie... We knew you could do it!” Minty called out. She was a bit exhausted, but she was glad. Mango was next to her. Squeaking with excitement.
Sunrise smiled, “That’s amazing!”
“Indeed…” Smiled Snowflake.
Tiny Yak thought about the explosion. It must have hurt Trixie when it exploded. But she should be fine, right? She must have teleported in time. He hoped, but the others did not seem too worried.
“Trixie must be proud…” Thought Sunrise. She looked over at Minty who had just woken up. Mango had flown away without a word.
"What a sight..." Minty said happily as she looked into the sky. Admiring the view and so glad it all ended up okay. GC punched her in the shoulder.
“Great to see you again, sis.” She smiled.
As Twilight landed in front of her castle with a slightly ruffled mane. Spike rushed out and gave her a huge hug.
“You are okay!”
“I sure am… Thanks to The Starry Squad…” She smiled softly.
“Is Trixie okay?” Spike asked. Seeing the explosion for herself and wanting an answer even if he wasn’t the biggest fan of her.
“I am sure she made it to safety…”
She went inside with him, Zecora walked past the palace, happily as Stardust tried to explain her the whole adventure.
“And then they lived all happily ever after!”
“You sure are the tale teller.
You made the adventure sound like a thriller.”
“What! No!” Stardust squealed as Zecora smirked at her reaction. Obviously joking about it being like a thriller as Stardust stared in confusion. Wanting to make it sound like a drama but failing.
“If you practice, you’ll be good.
But if honest, I think that kinda boo’d”
“In my defence. I was kicked out till the last few chapters.” Stardust shrugged as the zebra walked to Ponyville, for whatever she was planning to do. Bypassing Pinkie who was bouncing around on a pogostick, with a bag full of invitations for a party. Separating ways as Stardust headed for a nice walk.
“I wonder how the rest of the world is feeling…” Stardust wondered as she walked away from the group.
In the Everfree forest the Ursas and other beasts roared in pride and joy. They had no idea what happened. But they knew there was a threat they could not defend themselves from and knew it was now gone. So whatever stopped it, they were grateful.
Manehattan partied! They may not have known who saved the world but they knew it wasn’t the a Main Six this time. On the roof of the tallest building a cloaked creature stood on their four legs, looking into the sky bitterly. As if she was not happy about this situation. Or maybe she was bitter about the threat getting a far as it did to almost destroying the world.
“Gumdrop will return.”
The ponies in Starlight’s old town clapped, knowing Trixie had completed her journey at last!
”She did it! Trixie and her team did it!” Somepony squealed.
In the Crystal Empire Starlight and Sunburst had walked out of the hospital just in time to see the blast and shockwave.
“That’s quite the sight...” Sunburst noted.
”Yeah...” Starlight responded, amazed, “I’m proud of her...” She smiled slightly. Glad she was able to do it. She wanted to hug her, wherever she was.
In Neighagra Falls, Oyster stuck her head out the water and looked into the air. “Actually, I’m glad I didn’t end up eating you weird, small blue pony. You just saved my butt!” She said ominously.
Everyone smiled as they watched the colourful sky fade away, to a normal clear morning sky. Peace was restored, Equestria was saved from its doom, every creature across the globe rejoiced and this mysterious “Supermare” Some knew who she and her team was. While some ponies did not.
But they were glad about these ponies. It was sure a story to be told for years to come.
“Wait a minute!” Stardust sat up under the trees near Trixie’s wagon. Blinking a few times before looking down at herself then around her. Heart thumping as she realised, waiting for something. Hoping for some sort of answer, until she yelled. “I’m still a pony?” She asked, whimpering as she faceplanted into the grass. Screaming in anger before lifting her head. Running to a random blue and yellow unicorn that was writing a story.
“LMC! Why am a pony and still here !?” She shouted, thrashing her hooves about as she sat there. Waiting for an answer as she pouted with crossed hooves. Then she sighed in defeat when she did not get a response. As the unicorn looked away confused. “Do I have more to do in this world!? Or is this my new home?!” She asked, sadly then looked over at the town. Ponyville. As the unicorn shrugged and moved on. Not giving a care about this random pegasus.
She paused as she sat there, calming down as a smiled appeared on her face.
“I guess it isn’t too bad here.” She shrugged. “Maybe there’s something out there waiting for me before I can return home. Besides, being a pony isn’t the worse thing in the world.” She assured herself. Deciding to love her time here to the fullest until it was time for her to go home.
Whenever that would be.
She was excited to see them again.
Pinkie Pie grabbed a small pogostick from outta nowhere and gave it to Stardust.
“Now it’s time to celebrate!” She screamed delightedly as Stardust gave her a look. Like she just interrupted an ending of a long fanfic. Then she shrugged and followed Pinkie to where the celebration was being held. With a big smile on her face.
