“This raspberry tea is delightful! I can see why you enjoy it so much!” I say to the strange olive blue unicorn on the other side of the tea table.
Izzy at my left, looks at me and smiles, “Yeah, I guess my baby does have good taste!”
I frown at the darker blue unicorn, “Baby? I suppose that’s not the only term of endearment you use?”
“Not at all, silly! I like calling her sweetie and honey and sugar dumpling and buttercup and…”
I widen my eyes, “I get it! You have many affectionate things you call her!”
Misty stares at me from the other side of the table, “Well, that’s just part of it! Now that she knows you like her, you’ll need to occasionally let her know you’re still interested!”
Izzy adds, “Not too much though!”
Misty says, “Yeah, you don’t wanna be too clingy!”
I narrow my eyes at the olive unicorn, “Well, how much is too much, though?”
Misty frowns, “How would I know? I’ve never been in a relationship before!”
Izzy nods, “Yeah, me neither!”
At this point, I’ve had about enough… I can feel my lips trembling before I burst at the two of them, “SO WHY AM I EVEN TALKING TO YOU TWO?”
Izzy smiles, “Because you’re gay now!”
Misty nods, “Yeah, we’re all inexperienced homosexuals here, Opaline! We can help each other out!”
I finally stare at the twit across the table from me and furrow my brow, “Why would I ever want support from you?”
Izzy calmly says, “Because you’re gay and don’t know how to deal with it.”
Misty nods and says, “Yeah, besides! I don’t think we’ve ever just you know, talked like this?”
“What do you mean, worm?”
Misty smiles, “Just uh, you know? Friendly and chatting over tea!”
Izzy adds, “About being gay!”
Misty says, “And liking mares!”
Izzy says, “And kissing mares!”
Misty says, “And doing other things with mares!”
Izzy finally says, “Like…”
I cut her off! “That’s okay, Izzy! We’re not talking about that here and now!”
Misty smiles wider, “But it will come up, won’t it?”
Izzy turns to me, smiles, and says, “Yeah! I wanna talk about sex with Queen Opaline!”
I narrow my eyes at the two grinning unicorns and am silent… “You two are enjoying this, aren’t you?”
Izzy says, “Maybe a little?”
Misty adds, “Yeah, kinda!”
I roll my eyes, “FINE! We can talk of lesbian sex, if you insist!”
Izzy’s mouth normalizes, “That was surprisingly easy?”
Misty’s does as well, “Right? I was expecting more resistance!”
I stare at them, “FINE! We WON’T discuss lesbian sex then!”
Izzy replies, “That’s fine too!”
Misty adds, “Yeah, we were just messing with you!”
I narrow my eyes at them… “Okay, I’ll just get on with it already!” before staring at the blue unicorn, “Izzy! How did you find out you were gay?” before looking at my sky-blue mug of piping hot red tea and floating it up to my mouth for a cautious sip…
Izzy’s eyes widen, “Oh, I’m not gay-gay! I’m bisexual! I could be with a stallion too! Um, if I really wanted to!”
“But you’re with a mare now?”
Izzy frowns, “Unless there’s something Misty isn’t telling me?”
Misty stares at me, “Well, I actually am completely gay! I have zero interest in stallions!”
I adjust my eyes to Misty, “Well, why not? Do they not entice you?”
Misty frowns, “Well, not really? I mean, I don’t hate them! I just don’t like them in that way, you know?”
Izzy stares at me and nods, “Yeah I mean, Misty does just fine with Hitch!”
“Even though I don’t really find him attractive!”
Izzy frowns at me, “Why Opaline? Do you find stallions attractive?”
I arch my mouth down at her as well, “I don’t believe so? At least, that’s never happened before?”
“Have you ever found any other mares attractive? Aside from Janice at lunch?”
Misty adds, “Yeah! I mean, is this the first time ever in the history of anything, or were there other mares?”
I stare at the two curious unicorns at the table with me and finally answer, “Well, if you must know, there was one…”
Misty asks, “And she was a mare?”
I stare at them as they gaze back with their wide eyes… I eventually sigh and reply, “Well, yes… I liked spending time with her and we were close…”
Misty asks, “But what happened?”
“Well, I tried to take over Equestria! And when I failed, they banished me! And well, I never saw her again…”
Izzy asks, “But wait! You said you never had love before Janice earlier!”
I sigh, “Well, to be honest, I don’t really like to think about what happened between me and Ivanna Hoofler…”
Izzy frowns, “So you chose to just what then? Block it out? Pretend it never happened?”
I sigh again, “Well...yes, basically…”
Misty’s eyes widen, “Oh, wow! Opaline is suppressing memories!”
Izzy adds, “And her gayness!”
Misty says, “Well, not after today!”
Izzy smiles, “Yeah, Opaline! Ready to be openly homosexual?”
I frown at the obstinate blue unicorn, “What? Who would I be openly gay to, precisely? It’s just me! Without Misty, I am alone!”
Izzy says, “Well, you got Janice!”
Misty says, “Yeah, Opaline! Another mare to be gay with! Isn’t that great!”
I narrow my eyes for the umpteenth time and frown at these two annoying ponies, “I never really wanted to be gay…”
Izzy says, “Yeah, nopony does!”
Misty adds, “We don’t really get a choice!”
… “And I love Janice?”
Izzy frowns, “Probably”
Misty says, “Well, that’s what you say?”
Izzy asks me, “How did you meet her, anyway?”
I smile faintly, “Well, I was at a bookstore in Bridlewood!”
Izzy says, “The Bridlewood Bookstore!”
I nod, “Well, yes! It would have to be that one, wouldn’t it?”
“Well, it’s the only bookstore in Bridlewood?”
I smile wider and suppress a chuckle, “Right! Well, anyway, I was shopping there one day, because I needed a specific manuscript for my collection!”
Misty frowns, “Collection?”
I stare down at the weakling, “Yes! I collect vintage books!”
Misty’s eyes widen, “You do?”
My view narrows yet again, “Yes!” before normalizing, “Anyway, I wanted a specific book and I had tracked it down to that particular store! And they didn’t have it by the time I got there!”
Izzy’s view increases, “Oh, wow! Bummer!”
I smile at the fluffy blue unicorn, “Quite!”
Misty says, “But you found Janice?”
I nod at the coward, “Indeed! She’s the cashier and helped me search ALL THROUGHOUT the store! We never found it! But… well, we talked a bit…”
Misty asks, “About what?”
“Well, she asked me about the weather at first! I said I didn’t particularly have a preference, since well, I haven’t been in Bridlewood and know nothing of the weather there!”
Izzy nods, “Well, when did you start to like her?”
I look at the red eyed equine and frown, “Honestly, I don’t know? I mean, once I said that, she mentioned that she didn’t care either! We had a small chuckle over it and well, I then looked into those entrancing green eyes of hers…”
Izzy coos, “AWWWW! Opaline has a crush!”
I frown, “Didn’t I already mention that?”
Misty nods, “You did! But uh, well, the only thing that matters now is that you like her and she likes you, right?”
I nod at the inferior, “Yes, I would think so?”
“Right, so what are you gonna do now?”
“I...I don’t know, okay? I mean, I’ve been alone more or less, my whole life and now… Now there’s this!”
Misty smiles, “Well, maybe talk to her about it?”
Izzy adds, “Yeah! I mean, there’s supposed to be two parts to this relationship, right?”
I sigh, “Well, right! But that’s not the only problem!”
Izzy frowns, “Oh? Well, what’s wrong?”
I spread my wings and say, “I have these, remember?”
Misty says, “Oh! Well, again, love is really about honesty! If I were you, I’d let her know about that pretty early on!”
Izzy nods, “Well, right! I mean, you’re an alicorn pretending to be a unicorn and that’s kinda false advertising, you know?”
I stare at the fluffy one, “Well, I know that! But what I mean is, how do I even bring that up? It’s not like I can just say, ‘Oh, by the way! I’m an actually an alicorn and have wings!’”
Misty nods, “Well, right! But what I mean is, be sure to mention that early on, you know? Don’t lead her on and make her think you’re something that you’re not!”
Izzy sees Misty say this before turning her head back right towards me, “Yeah, I would think that that would be the moral thing to do?”
I nod at the sniveling wretch, “Well, yes! Of course!” before frowning when I suddenly wonder when I began to care about morality?
Izzy smiles and nods, “Right! So to recap: you’re gay now! You need to let Janice Fetlocks know you’re an alicorn! And love is causing you to care now!”
I frown at this obstinance! “What? I don’t care!”
Izzy smiles wider, “But you care about Janice!”
Misty smiles, giggles, and says in a cutesy voice, “Opaline loves Janice!”
I grimace at this, “Shut up!” and take a slow, but thorough sip of my tea… It actually is quite tasty!
Misty and Izzy each take good sips for themselves as well…
I set my tea back down in the saucer before realizing that I need to say something now and gain control over this conversation again! “Very well then! I shall show her my wings and let her know my true form! But if I have any problems!”
Izzy nods, “You can count on us queenie!”
Misty smiles, “We got your flanks!”
I smile, “Thank you so much!”
Izzy replies, “Hey, no problem queenie! You want a hug?”
“Well, I don’t know if uh…”
Misty suddenly says, “Let’s hug Opaline!” before getting off her chair to the right and hurriedly trotting around the table towards me!”
“Wait!”
Izzy shouts, “I wanna hug Opaline too!” and gets off her chair and trots right to me to grasp me in her forehooves!”
“EEP!” I squeal!”
Misty smiles and hugs me from the other side…
So that’s how I ended up in a unicorn-only group hug with two ponies I hate!

Okay, I’ll admit that after I saw the fire alicorn talk about love, I kinda lost interest and took a little nap on the couch behind me… But now, I was staring at the screen again and I saw an olive green unicorn with a bright red mane cuddling me! I definitely don’t wanna miss this!
I stare at her from behind as I held her there on the green couch in the foyer… She likes to be the little spoon! “I love you so much Misty!”
She fidgets slightly in my hooves and says, “Thank you so much for loving me back Izzy!”
I smile, “Well, I couldn’t just say no! You looked so cute there!”
“Stop it!” Misty says before fidgeting!
“But you are cute!”
“Am not! You’re cute!”
“You’re cuter than me!”
“Am not!”
“Are so!”
She’s silent and sinks further into my hooves to snuggle me with her back, “I don’t want tonight to end…”
“Okay baby… Let’s just snuggle and talk for as long as we can then, and we can eventually pass out together?”
I somehow just know she’s smiling right now, “Okay Izzy… I’d like that…”

I open my eyes and see a magenta alicorn with a white mane standing there in front of the couch as I continue to hold the sleeping olive green unicorn in my forehooves…
Opaline looks at me with her azure stare and lowly says, “What if I told you that I and Sunny are not the only two alicorns in Equestria?”
