It’s morning in Ponyville. All the birds are chirping, and tweeting. Some of the ponies that are considered early birds have gotten out of their homes and went to wherever they wished to go to… . As for the other ponies, they don’t get up till later in the day. Which is the case for the main characters here. Well… almost all of them.
“Ugh… .” Sombra said in his sleep. “I’m so tired… . And I feel like my head’s gonna burst. But also… .” He paused as he feels something, or someone pressing down on his chest when he’s leaning up. “What’s this feeling in my chest??? What’s going… ?” However, before he could figure it out, he saw something that made him jump out of bed. Or in a realistic scenario, fall out of bed. The mysterious object then giggled, then replied with; “you’re funny Sombra… . It’s no wonder you were reformed.” Realizing who it was that startled him, Sombra groaned, and then replied with, “really pinkie??? You couldn’t have just thought of a better way to wake me up?”
Pinkie jumped down from the bed, and then giggled some more before replying; “nope! Not really.” Sombra rolled his eyes at this, and replied back, “of course… “ before getting up from the floor.
Pinkie then looked sad, and replied; “well sowwy… . I didn’t know you never liked my antics… .” Sombra sighs, then replied; “I liked SOME of your antics. Not all of them… .” He then approached her and picked her up before cradling her, and continued with, “but I’m sure it’s nothing… . Okay?” After that, he raspberries her belly; causing her to giggle.
Usually he’d never do this at all. But since Sombra spent way too much time with Flurry Heart and or the Cake Twins due to babysitting, he’s developed some instincts that he couldn’t simply control at times… . Like treating Pinkie like a toddler for instance. More or less.
After five minutes, Sombra set Pinkie down and started to leave to go downstairs to eat breakfast. But not before she got on his back and held onto him. Shaking his head with a smile, Sombra then started carrying pinkie pie down the stairs.
“So Flurry. How’re you liking Ponyville so far?” Sombra asked while sitting with her. Flurry then responded with, “it’s okay… . But it’s not home… .” Sombra nods, then says; “that’s fair.” Before taking a sip from his cup of coffee.
Curious, Flurry Heart got close to whatever Sombra’s drinking, and then asked; “what’s that?” Whilst pointing. Chuckling, Sombra replied, “it’s coffee. It’s really good.”
Intrigued, Flurry Heart said; “oooh… .” And then started reaching before asking; “can I have some?” Chuckling, Sombra said; “no little gal this is mines… . If you want coffee, then you have to wait until you’re old enough, okay? Maybe until you’re eighteen. Okay?”
Whining, Flurry Heart asked; “but why… ?” Before Sombra replied with; “because if I gave you coffee, you’ll develop a bad habit of drinking it, and not to mention that you’ll be literally bouncing off of the walls if you do… . Oh… and the bad bathroom trip because of what happens afterwards… . Okay?” Flurry whined some more, before saying; “owkay… “ before walking away with a sad face.
Sighing, Sombra set his coffee down on the table, and then walked to pick up Flurry before replying while cradling her; “if it makes you feel better, most fillies your age aren’t allowed to have smoothies… . You know that?” Flurry Heart gasped, before replying; “really… ?!” Sombra nods, then replied with; “but no worries. Since they’re fruit smoothies, then there’s nothing to worry about.” Flurry then got a realization, then said defeatedly; “oh… “ before frowning again.
Sombra chuckles, then says; “but you also do drink chocolate smoothies, and haven’t developed a sugar habit, right?” Flurry nods, but then blushes before replying; “b-but that also makes me have bad twips to the potty… . A-a-and even bad poopie accidents in me diapee… .” Sombra chuckled, then replied; “again, it’s fine. No worries.” Flurry nodded, then responded; “owkay… “ before laying her head down on his shoulder.
Smiling, Sombra said; “let’s go have fun.” Before walking Flurry Heart to the play area so she can play with the Cake Twins. And Cozy Glow as well since she’s just visiting.
Pumpkin Cake is currently playing with one of the plushies at the play area and nuzzling them. Her father, Mr. Cake saw this, and approached her to ask her this before kneeling down, “you doing alright there kiddo?” Blushing, realizing that her father was watching her, slowly but surely lifted the plushie up to cover her face. Mr. Cake just chuckled at her, and replies with, “don’t worry about it. If you wanna act like a baby again, that’s fine… . But just not in public. And try not to take it too far either… . I still have a lot to clean up after Pinkie’s babysitting service.” After that, he shivered at the memory. Laughing because she thought her father was acting silly, Pumpkin Cake looked at him with a smile, and said, “don’t worry about it. I will never take it too far. Poundcake though… I’m worried… .”
Overhearing the conversation, Poundcake approached before kneeling down too, and asked, “what do you mean by that?” Blushing hard this time, Pumpkin replied; “th-th-that you m-m-might treat me like a baby and take it too far with it… .” Chuckling, he replied, “I would never… . But mom though… . She might.” Pumpkin groaned to that and lied on the ground.
Shaking his head with a smile, Mr. Cake replied, “don’t worry about it sweetheart. We just kinda missed it when you two were babies again… . You know?” Pumpkin chuckled with a smile, and then replied back, “I guess so… . I kinda miss it too.” Mr. Cake nodded, and replied; “but also.. try not to get used to it. We wouldn’t want you to think that you’re still a baby… despite only having a diaper to wear to control your accidents, and a few toys too.” Pumpkin laughed a bit, then says, “yeah… . But don’t worry. I won’t. I promise… .” Mr. Cake sighs to this, and says, “okay then… “ before going back to the kitchen.
Poundcake looked at his sister before asking, “Are you really sure about this??? You kinda did act like a total foal that one time when Pinkie was foal sitting us… . And that was only when we were four.” Pumpkin Cake sighs heavily, says, “don’t remind me… “ and then lied down on the ground again. “That was super embarrassing… . I honestly didn’t even know that happened.” Pound chuckled to that, replied, “Yeah… hehe… . It was pretty bad… .” Pumpkin Cake whimpered, then hid her face with the plushie she was playing with, and asked, “can this day get any worse… ?” As if on cue, Cozy Glow is seen crying while Sombra is holding her high up and away from him because Cozy too had an accident; as is unfortunately evident by the brown marks on her back hooves. After that, Pumpkin groaned, and hid her face with her plushie before lying back down on the ground.
“So… . How’re you feeling now?” Sombra asked as he’s sitting next to Flurry Heart while she’s in bed. Frowning, Flurry Heart said, “tewwibwe. They stiww hate me… . And… . I miss em already… .”
Sombra chuckled, then replied, “no they don’t… . Trust me.. .” Looking a bit grumpy, Flurry Heart replied, “oh yeah… ? How so?”
Sombra smirked, then held out a piece of paper before responding with, “if they did, then they’d never send you another letter of their arrival, would they???” Flurry then looked surprised, and said; “what?!” Before grabbing the letter from him and began reading it. And by reading through it, she’s actually looking through it with her eyes since she doesn’t know how to read yet. However, she does know a few words though… . Such as the ones the mean that her parents are coming back, not coming back, etc . And with that, her face lit up with glee, now realizing that her parents are coming back tomorrow.
With a high pitched squee, Flurry said; while bouncing up and down on the bed, “thank you thank you thank you!” Ooh I’m so happy!” Sombra chuckled nervously, and said, “now let’s not carried away… . Best to not do this before… .” However, before he could finish his sentence, Sombra and Flurry fell through the floor and into the ground floor while still in bed.
Looking up at the hole they created, both of them looked at each other before Flurry asked, “should we… ?” Before Sombra interrupted by saying, “let’s go see if we can sleep with Cozy and Chrysalis.” Flurry nodded, and both of them went to the room where the two former villains are at. Why is chrysalis at sugercube corner is because, once again, Tirek and she had a fight. That’s all… .
Meanwhile the Cake Twins looked through the hole, turned to each other, and laughed before saying in unison, “oh flurry heart… “ before retreating to go back to bed.
What’s gonna happen tomorrow? Who knows… ?
