Last time on displaced mobian sisters two mysterious figures known as Neo and Omelet had awoken from their stasis pods after being asleep for 1000 years and after discovering how long they been asleep they tried searching for the phantom ruby their third member used but soon discovered there were were two phantom ruby on separate location.
After discovering both phantom rubies the two individuals sent robots to retrieve the rubies and one of those locations happened to be Ponyville where Lillian and Sapphire lived and when the robots attacked the two sisters were able to deal them while in Canterlot the second location the robots attacked Celestia and Luna had managed to barely defeat them.
After the attack Celestia was worried about the return of some old foes she and Luna faced 1000 years ago and revealed that she had her sister watch over Lillian and Sapphire worried they were with her old foes but after finding no connection Celestia decided to reveal the truth to the two mobian sisters.
On the train leading to Canterlot Lillian and Sapphire sat in a train cart along with Twilight and the rest of their friends. After the attack at Ponyville Twilight recieved a letter from Princess Celestia telling them that Canterlot was attacked too but they were able to defeat the robots but they wanted Twilight and her friends too come to Canterlot to talk about the attacks.
During the train ride Lillian and Sapphire were in deep thought about something. "Girls, hello you there?" Twilight asks breaking Lillian and Sapphire train of thought.
"Huh oh yeah sorry Twilight Lillian and I were just thinking about something." Sapphire says apologizing.
Yeah sorry Twi but what is it?" Lillian asks.
"It's okay but we're getting close to Canterlot so you two should get ready."
"Oh okay thanks Twilight." Sapphire says thanking Twilight as she heads over to the rest if their friends.
Once Twilight was out of war shot Lillian let out a sigh. "I can't help but wondering why these badniks attack both Ponyville and Canterlot?"
"Yeah and when we got to town not only were they attacking but it also looked like they were looking for something but what?" Sapphire added.
While the two sisters were lost in thought Lillian's Phantom Ruby started to pulsate with energy which caught the sisters attention.
"Huh, what's going on with the Phantom Ruby?" Lillian asks when she noticed the Phantom Ruby pulsing with energy.
"Not sure we've never seen this happen before?" Sapphire added.
Before the two sisters can react, the Phantom Ruby lets out a burst of energy causing a portal to the displaced void to appear.
"What they hell!?" Both sisters says shocked at what just happened.
While the sisters stare at the portal in shock, they see what appears to be a small puppet fall out of the portal before it closes as if the portal was never there to begin with.
"What the hell just happened?" Lillian asked before picking up the puppet.
"Not sure?" Sapphire added as she looked at the puppet Lillian was holding.
As Lillian picked up the puppet, the two sisters heard a voice speak a short message within their minds.
"If you need help of any matter, call upon the Stagemaster."
"Oh, it's another token Lillian."
"Yeah but I don't think we know of a character called the Stagemaster but maybe they can help us gain new powers to help protect equestria from these attacks." Lillian says to her sister.
"Yeah so let's call him." Sapphire agreed.
Lillian nodded before raising the puppet. "Stagemaster, we call on you!"
As Lillian spoke these words, they saw another portal open up In Front of them, however, this portal took a blue tint, before the sisters had a chance to question the coloring of the portal, they heard a panicked yelling coming from the portal, strangely, they heard two voices coming from the portal.
"Lillian you hear that?" Sapphire asked her sister.
"Yeah, maybe whoever this Stagemaster is, they sound like they're in trouble. I think we should try going through the portal to help."
Before the two could attempt to enter the blue portal, they saw two figures fly out of the portal and land on the ground. In Front of them, one of these figures was very familiar to them. What was Twilight doing here?
a few minutes earlier
It was only a few weeks after sombra had been defeated and the stage master had already gotten himself a new arm, he, and his team were currently in a meeting.
"So, as we know, with the defeat of Sombra, comes a small window for us to enact project: EggKoopa empire, what do you purpose we do in the meantime Ms.Magic?" Stagemaster asked of the element of magic in her villain suit, as well as her symbiote.
"Hm, it wouldn't be wise to attack in this time period, the guards would be to weary, and if you are only trying to test the other element bearer's, it would be best to not have them think of you as 'just another Sombra', it would be smarter to wait until after heartwarming to begin the project." Twil-Ms.Magic spoke while a blue portal opened behind her and Stagemaster.
"Uh, boss?" Sans spoke, gaining Stagemasters' attention.
"Yes? What is the problem?" Stagemaster asked, still not noticing the portal behind him.
"Portal, behind ya." Sans spoke as he pointed behind Stagemaster and Ms.Magic.
As Stagemaster looked behind him and saw the portal, he sighed and de-summoned sans, undyne, Eggman, metal-sonic, and infinite to take their props with him before he stood up.
"Meetings ov-WOAH!?" Stagemaster shouted as he and Ms.Magic were suddenly pulled into the portal as they screamed in panic.
In the present
"Ugh, did not expect my first time being summoned would end up with my face in the ground." The humanoid figure groaned as he pushed himself off of the ground.
"Actually your face landed on the train floor." A feminine voice corrected him.
"H-huh, what do you- oh my mobian!" The humanoid shouted as he bounced back onto his feet.
"Well now, it is nice to meet you, the names Stagemaster, I'm guessing you two are the ones who summoned me, right?" The humanoid figure, now known as Stagemaster, spoke as he held out a hand.
"Yes, we were, my name is Lillian." The hawk Mobian greeted.
"And my name is Sapphire." The cat Mobian says greeting them as well.
"And the both of us are sisters." The two Mobian says together.
"Ugh, Stagemaster, what happened?" A feminine voice spoke from behind Stagemaster, when the two sisters looked behind him, they were surprised to see who was laying on the ground of the train rubbing her head.
"Twilight?!" The sisters says surprised when they saw her.
"Hm? Oh, hey magic, it seems you got pulled into this world with me." Stagemaster spoke calmly as the sisters saw twilight's head snap towards Stagemaster.
"I'm sorry, WHAT?!" Twilight yelled, surprised to find herself in another world as she turned and saw the mobian sisters and looked at them confused.
"Who are they? They look like infinite, and maybe an organic version of metal." Twilight spoke, gaining a surprised look from the two sisters.
"Wait did you say infinite and metal sonic were in your world?" Lillian says surprised.
"Well they are from another version of equestria so I guess it would make sense sis." Sapphire says.
"Hehe, you would be half right, yes we do have a metal sonic and infinite, but they are not in our world right now, you see this metal sonic medal?" Stagemaster spoke as he pulled out a metal sonic medal.
The two sisters looked at the medal with interest. "What's the medal for?" Lillian asks.
"Well, it's something I made due to what I was displaced as, and before you ask, no, I was not turned into a pre-existing character, I was turned into a prop maker with the ability to bring life to his props, such as this." Stage master spoke as he flicked the medal into the air, the medal then gave off a bright light temporarily blinding the sisters, when they could see again, they could see metal sonic standing next to Stagemaster.
"Wait, you can make fake versions of existing characters?" Sapphire asks seeing the metal sonic Stagemaster summoned.
"With personality and all, of course, they aren't as powerful as the originals, but, they definitely have the originals soul and personality, the main difference between them, is that for the more, 'evil' characters, they are less willing to needlessly harm innocent creatures, heck, the version of Eggman in my world helped save a filly from blood loss, surprising right?" Stagemaster spoke using air quotes when he spoke the word 'evil'.
"What that's horrible, for the filly I mean." Sapphire says surprised after hearing that.
"Yeah but I almost forgot, speaking of old eggster we might have an Eggman problem here because of, well this." Lillian says using her Phantom ruby to open up a small null void pocket dimension causing badniks to fall out from it.
"Badniks huh?Say, if you can get me some prop materials, I could probably make something to summon a version of sonic to help you guys." Stage master spoke, surprising the sisters as they did not expect that request.
"Woah really you would do that for us?" Lillian asks.
"That sounds cool, okay what do you need?" Sapphire asks.
"Mainly, yellow fabric and blue string, maybe also a metal stripe, I think I'll make a ring to summon sonic, also, metal, I know how much you dislike the blue blur, but when I summon him, do not attack, ok? Good." Stagemaster explained as the two sisters nodded as they knew what they would set out to find once they got off of the train.
While the train continued on its way to Canterlot, the two mobian sisters decided to ask Stagemaster what his world is like.
"Hey Stagemaster, what's your Equestria like?" Sapphire asks as she took a seat in the train cart they're in.
"Well, for one, I'm classified as a villain, and that is my goal for my world, not to rule it, or destroy it, I am mainly a villain who challenges and tests the heroes, you know what I mean?" Stagemaster spoke, surprising the sisters yet again.
"Yeah I know what you mean, I think I read some stories back home that actually have villains doing just that too." Lillian nodded, understanding what the Stagemaster was saying.
"Secondly, Ms.Magic here isn't really friends with the other element bearer's." Stage master spoke as he patted Twilight's head.
"What why?" Sapphire asks, surprised.
"Let's just say, trust is difficult to regain once it's lost." Stagemaster spoke with a gentle shake of his head.
"Oh trust issues I understand that all too well, once you start losing trust in those close to you it'll be hard to regain said trust." Lillian says.
"Hm, indeed, and it doesn't help that after the fact, they didn't even try to apologize to her, it led to some Agony in her soul." Stagemaster spoke as Twilight face hoofed and grumbled about 'stupid puns'.
"I don't get it?" Sapphire says confused.
"Oh right, you don't know about the parasite." Stage master punned yet again as he is suddenly smacked across the back of his head by a dark purple tendril coming from twilight's body.
The two sisters got a familiar shiver going down their back when they saw this. "This feels like Grima all over again." Lillian says when she saw the tendril come out of twilight.
"Grima? Who is that? Also, what you just saw was the symbiote named Agony, she helps Ms.Magic here when she needs to either fight or get out of a situation." Stagemaster asked and informed the sisters.
"Wow really also Grima was another displaced person we summoned long before we summoned you they're well I guess fused within their twilight who is their sister and they gave us both the ability to use fire emblem spells." Sapphire informed Stagemaster.
"Yeah and they kind of act like a venom sort of situation from what we saw." Lillian added.
"Hm, well then, do you, by any chance, want to meet my version of Eggman? Or maybe want to see another thing I can do with my props?" Stagemaster asked the two sisters.
Before the sisters can answer, they felt the whole train shake. "What the hell?!" Lillian says surprised.
".... i'm guessing that wasn't normal, if I had to guess what happened, I would say we have unwanted guests, let's meet them on the roof, shall we?" Stagemaster spoke as he shook off his surprise of the train shaking.
"Yeah, let's." The sisters says with a nod.
Stagemaster then pulled out a Phantom ruby of his own as he began to glow red, when the red glow stopped, the sisters were surprised to see a fusion of Stagemaster and Infinite.
"Woah, that's cool."
"You can admire his new look later, Sapphire, we need to get to the roof of the train." Lillian says opening up the train roof hatch.
"Let us see what these buckets of bolts can do." Stagemaster spoke with a slightly deeper voice as he used his Phantom ruby to float to the roof.
"Just so you girls know, when he fuses with a prop, he gains some of the personality traits of the character the prop represents." Twilight spoke as she coated her body with the Agony symbiote and used webs to pull herself to the roof.
"That sounds cool." Sapphire says intrigued before her and Lillian jumped through the roof hatch and landed on the trains roof to see many badniks they knew of and ones they've never seen before like dragon like badniks and some manticore like badniks.
"Okay those are new." Lillian says surprised.
"Hmp, let us see how these bots do against the ultimate Puppeteer." Stagemaster spoke before using the phantom ruby to form Infinite's sword and began to attack the badniks.
"Multiple Phantom Ruby signatures detected, destroy holders of the Rubies and retrieve rubies." One of the dragon badniks announced before firing a blast of energy at the group.
"Tch, so they are after the rubies, very well, Switch!" Stagemaster yelled before being enveloped in a blue and yellow glow before reappearing and looking like a skeleton wearing a blue jacket as he looked at the badniks "ready to have a bad time?"
Lillian and Sapphire smirks before pulling out their lightning and burst wispons before spindashing while activating their wispons as they were both covered in electricity and fire.
"Fire and lightning dash!" Lillian and Sapphire yelled out charging at the badniks and tearing through some of them.
"Alright you weird robots, we are hungry!" Twilight and Agony yelled as they jumped from badniks to badniks and bit them apart, even eating parts of the metal from the badniks they destroyed.
The badniks fought back, firing blasts of energy at the group, almost hitting the sisters and the Stagemaster.
"Ha! Nope." Stagemaster dodged an attack. "Nada!" And another. "Are you even trying?" And yet another. "C'mon, I can do way better than that!" Stagemaster taunted before getting hit in the arm. ".... Alright then, let's Put some pedal to the metal!" Stagemaster shouted before being encased in a dark light glow before being revealed as a fusion of tails doll and metal sonic. "Can you feel the sunshine?"
"Igniting fusion protocol!" One of the badniks announced.
"...wut." Stagemaster spoke with a raspy, robotic voice filled with confusion.
Out of nowhere all of the remaining badniks starts turning into liquid metal before joining together and forming a very familiar robot dragon.
"Oh dear god, its metal madness all over again!?" Stagemaster shouted in alarm.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me, is this what I think it is?!" Sapphire shouted out in shock.
"Oh if only I had brought the star rod, I could really use some chaos right now." Stagemaster spoke in annoyance.
The metal madness dragon roared out before firing a beam of energy at the group.
"NOPE!" Stagemaster shouted as he used metal sonic's speed to get everyone out of the way of the beam of energy, while constantly yelling nope over and over again.
"We have to get this thing away from her before it destroys the train and everyone in it!" Sapphire yells out in concern.
"I could try to use sans's shortcut ability to get it out of here, unless you two have anything that could give us the advantage in this fight." Stagemaster suggested.
"Lillian, why don't we use your warp rings to teleport this thing somewhere far away?" Sapphire asks.
"I think that might work, what do you think, Stagemaster you want to try it?"
"Sure, it's our current best bet on defeating this thing." Stagemaster agreed with a nod.
Lillian nods before pulling out a warp ring and throwing it behind the metal madness dragon as it opened up a portal as big as the robot.
"Alright lets get it through the other side and fight it there!" Shouted Lillian.
"Agreed." Stagemaster nodded before using his Phantom ruby to take on a massive size and attempt to tackle the silver metal madness copy through the warp ring.
The metal madness copy tried pushing Stagemaster away with as much strength as it could muster but it was eventually pushed through the warp ring and into the everfree forest on the other side.
When Stagemaster and the metal madness copy entered the warp ring, stage master used his Phantom giant form to rip a chunk of metal off of the copy.
"Ha! Take that you scrap metal" Stagemaster gloated before getting slapped like a fly, sending him flying to the ground and losing his Phantom giant form.
"That got to hurt." Lillian says after witnessing Stagemaster get slapped like a fly.
Lillian, Sapphire, Miss Magic who grabbed Stagemaster jumped through the warp ring meeting the metal madness copy on the other side.
"Hey Lillian, do you think the power of your magical mic can stun that thing or at least take it down?" Sapphire asked.
"Maybe? I don't know I barely got this, remember so I haven't had time to practice with it but I can try." Lillian spoke as she readied her mic.
The metal madness copy then set its sights on the sisters and began to charge at the mobians in hopes to crush them into the ground but was stopped by a beam of solar light forming a shield that prevented the metal madness copy from getting too close.
(Celestia P.O.V.)
I was waiting in the throne room waiting for the arrival of Twilight, her friends and the two Mobians sisters that arrived during the summer sun celebration; however, as I waited for their arrival I received a message from Twilight and when I read it I was shocked when I saw that those remaining members of Team Phantom had sent robots again to attack the train they're on.
After reading the letter there was a sudden loud roar and after hearing such a loud roar I ran outside and flew up to see what could've caused it and what I saw made my blood go cold in the distance was the monstrous form of that robot from Team Phantom but this beast looked different.
The monster that I'm seeing looked more silver then blue and what shocked me even more ways that huge portal appeared behind the mechanical monster and another enormous being appeared before it trying to push the monster through the portal and once they were through I saw they were now somehow in the everfree forest but the figure fighting the mechanical beast was taken down after being slapped.
After seeing the figure being taken down the mechanical monster prepared itself to attack someone who also seem to be fighting the beast and not wanting to see whoever is fighting get hurt I decided to intervene so I lit up my horn reading my teleportation before teleporting to the everfree forest and just in time too as I formed a shield blocking the metal beasts attack.
"I won't let you harm these warriors!"
(Stagemaster P.O.V)
After I had been brutally slapped aside by, what I'm going to call Mimic Madness, I saw celestia fly in and intercept Mimic with a shield, I know I will need to pull out all of the stops to defeat this thing so I pulled out all of the props I had on me, just as I were about to try and fuse with the props, I am interrupted by Ms.Magic as she grabbed me with her magic.
"Stage, you know that's dangerous." She warned me but then released me from her magical grip.
"I know, Magic, I know, but we also know you won't be able to convince me otherwise, so, see you in a bit if it works." I spoke as I fused with every prop I had, turning me into essentially a Discord of characters, I had metal sonic's left arm, sanses right arm, eggman's glasses, and bold head, I had the phantom ruby on my chest, and I was wearing Undyne's armor, the chest plate, the leggings, the helmet, the gauntlets, heck, I even had a cape!
I think I'll call this form; "Fate's Hands!" The spirit of creativity.
"Cool look Stagemaster but do you think you can hold that thing while I prepare a song because I'm about to put on a concert." Lillian says, holding out her magical mic.
"Alright then, come and get me, you Neo Mimic!" I shouted as I summoned a gaster blaster and fired at the metal mimic.
The mimic tried to dodge the blasters Lazer so I used my phantom ruby to bent the Laser back around to hit it in the back of its head to get the mimic dragon to turn around to see what hit it.
"Miss Lillian, Miss Sapphire when this is done I want you to tell me who are your two companions and explain everything that happened." Celestia tells the Mobian sisters as she too attacks the copy of Metal Madness.
"We'll try princess." Sapphire says before calling out her frenzied wisp and had it merge with her before attacking the giant robot.
Lillian nods in agreement before taking a deep breath and started singing.
After singing the Metal Madness copy started to struggle to move.
Immediately after Lillian started singing, Ms.Magic sprouted her symbiote wings and flew up to the metal dragon and flew inside of it to rip it apart from the inside out.
The giant robot roared in pain as it struggled to move and once 10 minutes had passed it was able to move again but it was too late as it had collapsed onto the ground before exploding.
"Yes we did it!" Lillian and Sapphire say cheerfully after the defeat of the metal madness copy.
"Right, we have definitely sated our- oh… hello celestia." Ms.Magic spoke with an unnoticed venom towards celestia as she climbed out of the wreckage of the metal mimic, she also saw from the corner of her eye Stagemaster changing back to normal as he walked over to celestia and the sisters.
"Ah, it's nice to see a version of you I can work with, princess." I spoke as I gave the kind of bow a performer would to their audience.
"Lillian, Sapphire, mind telling me who are your two companions?" Celestia asks the Mobian sisters aftering seeing me and miss magic unaware she's another version of twilight.
"Oh um these two are Stagemaster and miss magic and they're uh friends we summoned from another dimension." Lillian answered.
"Yeah we summoned them to help us fight those badniks that attacked the train before the remaining ones turned into this monster." Sapphire explains while pointing the destroyed Metal Madness copy behind them.
Celestia looked between the sisters and the new visitors. "I see I believe I understand thank you the four of you if it wasn't for you four everyone on the train including Twilight and her friends would've been hurt so thank you for saving everyone."
Ms.Magic visibly clenched her jaw, biting back a groan at the mention of the element bearer's.
"Allow me to properly introduce ourselves princess, I am Stagemaster, the hero tester, and here is my magic general, Ms.Magic, otherwise known as Twilight Sparkle." I spoke with an overdramatic bow as Ms.Magic rolled her eyes as she removed her symbiote suit, surprising princess celestia.
"Twilight but how I thought you were on the train with the others?" Celestia says surprised when she sees my world Twilight.
"She may look like Twilight, Princess but she's not our Twilight, she's from another dimension like we mentioned before." Sapphire informs Celestia.
"Oh I see alright well it's nice to meet you Stagemaster was it?"
"You would be correct, princess. I am known as Stagemaster, the hero tester, it's a pleasure to meet you." I spoke as celestia became intrigued at the mention of the title 'hero tester'.
"You'll have to tell me more about this being a hero tester at the castle after all I have something to tell these two about these attacks as it may involve beings from their world." Celestia informs pointing to the two Mobian sisters.
"I would believe so, how else would badniks end up in this world, although, Lillian, Saphire, could we speak in private for a moment?" I spoke towards the princess and sisters.
"Sure please give us a moment princess." Lillian says to Celestia.
"Of course take your time." Celestia tells Lillian as she and Sapphire walked over to me.
"Okay, what is it Stagemaster?" Sapphire asks me.
"Does Celestia know about the displaced? I'm willing to bet that this… Eggman is also a displaced person like us, the original Eggman would never make a copy of Madness, so I would have reason to believe there is another displaced person in your world playing the role of the villain." I spoke as I pulled out the Eggman logo pin from my pocket.
"No she doesn't and if we do have an Eggman displaced here when did he arrive? Me and Sapphire arrived here when Princess Luna was a being called Nightmare Moon." Lillian answered and hearing the way Lillian said it makes me believe she and her sister must not know about equestria being from a show.
"Hm, I might be able to help with that but I'll need to summon my version of Eggman here, he could use the scraps from the metal mimic to build a machine using our special signatures to figure out our temporal arrangements to give us a good look at the times displaced have interacted with this world, it won't be able to look too far into the future but it could look thousands of years into the past, although, keep in mind that some aspects of your characters world definitely will enter this world be it the chaos emeralds, the master emerald, light Gaia or any of the villains or artifacts, most displaced aren't lucky enough to have the heroes of their characters worlds enter the world you were displaced as, that is mostly controlled by the one who displaced you, the void dwellers, more commonly known as the merchants." I gave a rather long explanation after I summoned my version of Eggman so he would know what to do.
After seeing me summon Eggman, the Mobian sisters and Their world's Celestia were a bit cautious but Celestia looked more cautious.
"So, eggy, you know what to do?" I spoke in a tone mixing how sonic would speak to Eggman to annoy him.
"Yeah yeah, I got it, make something to scan you three to figure out when the other me got to this world, but, you know you could just ask celestia, right?" Eggman spoke as he rolled his eyes and walked towards the scrap pile.
"He does have a point since she did say she wanted to speak to us about someone who might be from our world." Lillian says, agreeing with my Eggman.
"True but I guess having a bit more info ahead of time won't hurt." Sapphire tells her sister.
"So, what do you really know about Equestria so far? Like, the world, not the kingdom, I want to compare it to my version of equestria." I half lied to the sisters as I really did want to know more about their world but I also wanted to know if they were aware that they were in a world from a kids show.
"Not that much really, we know that there's others kingdoms besides equestria and that's about it." Sapphire answered.
"And that this world seems to also have a chao garden/ colony." Lillian added.
"Hm, ok, that just confirmed two of my theories. First, our world's are definitely different, and second, you don't know the origin of our world's, or more accurately, the connection these Equestrias have with our home worlds. Another thing I'd like to mention, I am a little further into the timeline than you, I can't give much of a hint, but, just expect your future to be quite chaotic." I spoke as I placed a hand upon my chin in thought.
The two sisters looked at each other confused before turning their attention back to me. "What do you mean this world is connected to our old world?"
Before I could answer their question Eggy came in and interrupted our conversation. "The device is done and I got to say the materials I found seem more advanced for this world and more advanced than what I could make but we'll save that topic for another time and for now all I need to do is scan you three and then I'll be able to find traces of any other displaced here and when they arrived."
"Alright Eggy." I say annoying to my world Eggman again as he grained at the name. "Scan away."
"Alright hold still this won't take long at all." Eggy says before turning on his device as it covered me and the sisters in a bright green light before it disappeared. "Alright it's done and according to these readings there's traces of others displaced here there of them to exact and they're all female and according to what I'm reading they've been here since 1000 years ago."
"Hm, so it's not so much an Eggman but an eggwoman." I spoke with interest. "And her being here a thousand years ago could also explain why the tech is so advanced, she had several years of practice." I continued with a thoughtful expression.
"Are you three ready to go because I'm sure that Twilight well my Twilight and her friends are waiting for us back in canterlot." Celestia asks, breaking my train of thought.
"Right, yeah, I think we should be good to go, but first, eggy, come here for a sec!" I shouted to my Eggman as he walked over to me.
"Are you going now or something?" Eggman asked me with sarcasm, I nodded and de-summoned Eggman before looking back to celestia.
"Ok, now we are ready, I do wonder how your Twilight will react upon meeting mine." I spoke as we all approached celestia so she could teleport us to Canterlot.
