It's been weeks that Twilight, Starlight and Sunset starts developing blueprints and starting building on the car and design made the car a sedan since that's what Sunset chose, Twilight started developing a Magical Fuel for the Car which first three were failed into goo or turns into slime but the fourth became successful and they haven't decided to either name it or come up with the colors but they decided to tell the rest of their friends about the project.
Next day rolls by as Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash were brought into the side of the Castle by Sunset and Starlight as Twilight waits for them with something covered by a tarp.
'Ok Girls what i have here might be a breakthrough and i may need your opinions and if you wanna pitch in to help" said Twilight as she stands by tarp covered object ready to pull it off and reveal it.
"Ok Twi Whatever it is we'll be there to help ya as an honest friend" Applejack with a smile standing between Rainbow Dash and Rarity While Fluttershy and Pinkie stand next to each other.
"Of course, Darling we are gladly to help you with the project you, Sunset and Starlight are working on" Rarity chimed in.

"Ok here goes nothing" said Twi as she grabs the tarp and pulls it over revealing a unpainted car with some stuff like tires she made out of rubber and slime creating a special kind of rubber and small mirror on each side of the car and a yellow metal plate with letters and numbers painted in black and read "Equestria FIM 8 PV" and the same applies for the other in the back, The ponies had mixed feelings, but as they look at it more they decided to share their opinions;

"Well Twilight it's ok and yeah yer right it needs a pop of color maybe like-" Applejack was about to continue until Pinkie pop out from the side like she usually does.

"Oh oh like we can paint it blue on the whole car while the roof gets painted white" said Pinkie Pie with hyperactive energy which is much greater than Twilight's in comparison.

"Actually it's not a bad idea Pinkie we can paint blue and white" said Sunset as she pulls pinkie in for a hug while Starlight pulls up next to Rainbow Dash.

"We can all pitch in to paint it as well giving it a name" Starlight chimed in a positive attitude as everypony started to give out ideas Rainbow Dash burst out a name that may be way too extreme.

"How about the Cloudinator?" 

"i certainly think not" Rarity responded back.

"Ummm how about the friendship mobile is that ok with you" said Fluttershy with a soft voice yet she was eager.

"Actually not a bad name good job Fluttershy i like the name" said Twilight as Applejack chimed in a with a happy tone in her voice.

"Well what are we waitin for Ponies let's get paintin this here Friendship Mobile"

Twilight and her Friends went to a hardware store and came back with baby blue and white paint, they start painting the car and waiting for it to dry as they finish painting it for hours to the evening. They went inside the castle for a sleepover so they can finally test the car out and by morning after breakfast they outside and they were surprised to see the results on their finished car.

"Woah it look so AWESOME" Rainbow Dash screamed in excitement as the car looked very amazing for her to fly towards the driver side door.

"Wait a sec since when ya become a driver Rainbow" Applejack said.

"Oh come on Applejack do you have to ruin all the fun?" Complained Rainbow Dash followed by a moan as the Pegasus and the Earth pony start arguing until Starlight broke them up.

"Do you two have to fight like foals" says Starlight with a bit of annoyance as Rainbow Dash responds back.

"She started to have a problem of me becoming the driver since i just want to volunteered"

"I don't know Rainbow Dash why don't i drive for this one since it's going to be a test run" Twilight Said as she got in the driver seat followed by Rainbow sighing in acceptance as the girls got in the car with excitement.

"Please don't fail on me" Twilight whispered as she used the key to crank the car to life magically, she pressed a button on the dash which caused the car to turn invisible and shifts the gear stick, making the car go Airbourne and the car took off flying over Ponyville, cautioningly looking out for flying pegasi heading either to cloudsdale or canterlot they flew over sweet apple acres and back into a road as the car rolled down towards Twilight's castle and pulls to a stop.

"It worked" Twilight screamed in happiness as the ponies cheered on their success for inventing Equestria's First automobile and things couldn't get better for them as their journey began.
