The sun begins to rise as it illuminates the city of Hollywood and our protagonists begin to feel the light on their faces. Spike starts to open his eyes and the first thing he sees is a smiling face with some red streaks.
"Good morning, handsome," Sunset said with a smile.
At that moment Spike didn't know whether to yell or just keep quiet, but he just heard Applejack start to wake up, which makes him more nervous about what could happen.
"Good morning, Spi-," she stops when she sees the other girl too close to the boy.
She suddenly frowns and looks at Sunset sternly, she understands this and leaves without giving the boy a kiss near the corner of the lips, which makes Jackie even angrier.
Outside, everyone eats breakfast while the 3 cousins have a conversation and the other girls are silent, although from time to time Starlight joins the conversation.
"Well, we'll go through the city. What will you do?" Gabriel asked.
"We might as well go to town, I'd like to visit Shining," Twilight replied receiving a nod from each.
"Okay, let's go, Drake," Garble called to his cousin and they climb into the General Lee.
In the city.
They both walk the streets trying to figure out what to do until their cousin can leave the headquarters, soon they are stopped by the traffic ahead, just behind them some policemen get out and approach them.
"Ok, get out of the car," a policeman said.
"Why? We didn't go too fast," Garble asked, this was strange.
"We have orders not to let them go and send them to jail," the other policeman replied.
"Boss Hogg. Right?" Spike asked, though he already knows the answer to that.
"Come out now."
But before you even force them out, they pull away and go through traffic; causing some cars to slam to a halt, the officers start chasing them as their siren blares.
"Well, at least we have something to do."
"This reminds me of a Johnny Cash frenzy concert! Too bad I lost the tickets."
"Uh... Yeah, too bad you lost them."
At the headquarters.
Twilight and her friends are outside the headquarters where James works, they enter and the first thing they see is the same Duke policeman, who sees the girls.
"Twilight!" He said excited.
"Shining!" She also said excitedly to Twilight to give her a hug.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, although he thinks he knows the answer.
"Our cousins," she answered simply.
"I supposed so. And who are they?" He asked pointing at Sunset and Starlight.
"Sigourney Taylor and Morgan Denver, but tell them Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer, they're my friends."
"Hello, captain."
"Nice to meet you."
"Nice to see you again, James," Applejack said.
"Come on, I want to introduce you to someone special," James said as he led them through headquarters.
They pass a door that leads to a meeting room where they find a tall woman. She has long dark purple, moderate pink and pale gold hair, gray purple eyes and a porcelain complexion. She wears a white shirt over a brown suit, a skirt of the same color and black high heels.
"Hi honey, I see you have visitors," the woman said.
"Girls, this is Sharon Blackwood, nicknamed after Cadence, my girlfriend."
"Nice to meet you, James has told me about you 2," he said pointing at Applejack and Twilight.
"But what about them?" She asked pointing at the other 2 girls.
"Oh, Morgan Denver, my pleasure," she introduced himself.
"Sigourney Taylor," Sunset said.
"They're my friends from university," Twilight explained.
"Honey, I'm going to have to go to my town, something very bad is happening," James said to his girlfriend.
"Then I'm going with you, too. Didn't you want to take the first step in your home?" Cadence asked.
"Right, you're coming with us," Shining said.
They are leaving the headquarters and about to get into a patrol car, but the Duke cousins appear and suddenly stop.
"Let's go quickly! Hogg sent some of your men to stop us!" Spike said.
The girls get in the Dodge and start to run followed closely by James and Sharon as they are chased by the police.
"We have to split up, Shining, you go to the road, we'll go later," Garble said over the radio.
"Ok, see you there."
So the patrol gets swerved as General Lee tries to lose the other cops, they skid, they get into traffic, but nothing works.
"This reminds me of that Johnny Cash frenzy concert you brought me, cousin," Eliza said.
Garble shakes his head, somewhat nervous about the information his cousin is releasing.
"Don't you remember when you got those tickets?"
In that, Spike looks at his cousin in a neutral way as he continues to move faster and faster down the street.
"Hehe... I didn't know how to tell you," Gabriel said nervously.
"No what? You took them off?" Twilight asked surprised.
"What's happening?" Starlight asked.
"Spike is a huge fan of Johnny Cash, so much so that he doesn't miss a concert, and if he does, well...," Eliza looks at her green haired cousin nervously.
"Spike, you're not looking."
Spike is still looking at him neutral.
"Spike, watch the road."
Still no answer.
"Look at the road!"
"I thought I lost them," he finally said.
At that moment he skids to the left and continues, hits 2 patrol cars and makes his way, then turns right again and continues forward.
"You said you didn't know where they were, and you know I never miss a concert of his!" Spike said.
They come to a circling street and he starts to drift all over the place as police cars block the exits.
"I'm getting dizzy," Starlight said starting to turn green.
"This is great!!" Sunset exclaimed raising her arms.
"Spike, please calm down," Applejack begged.
"I'll calm down when Garble says he's sorry," Drake replied.
In that they pass through a familiar neighborhood, soon they see in the rearview mirror that a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro crashes into a police officer.
"We'll take care of it, you guys get out of here!!" Said Vinyl Scratch leaning out the window.
"Hahaha, thanks Harley," Garble said, but a skid reminds him of where they are.
Then they go under a bridge followed by the last 5 patrol cars behind them, it's just the bridge they have to take to get out of Hollywood.
"You've already made peace with God, they're about to see Jesus!" Spike told his cousin.
"Say you're sorry, Garble!" Eliza said.
"No, we had a great cousin time and I'm not going to apologize," Gabriel replied.
"Aaaaahhhh!!" They all yelled as they saw a stone ledge ahead.
"Where are they?" Shining asked on the road.
"They'll show up," Cadence assured her.
In that, next to him, General Lee flies until he falls next to him, almost losing control if it weren't for Spike's abilities.
"Wooohoooo! That was fun!" Sigourney yelled.
"A spectacular roller coaster!" Morgan exclaimed.
"Ok, i'm sorry," he finally apologized.
"Very good, don't let it happen again," Drake warned.
"Your cousins are very crazy," Sharon declared.
"Hahahaha," Shining just laughed, as he would have to see what they are capable of.
