Always Mine

As Destined

Chrysalis remembers those moments Twilight and Starlight shared with a grimace as she rots in her prison cell. It felt like her own version of Tartarus as she recalled that sickeningly sweet couple with each other. It was a fucking nightmare to her, at first she didn’t know why she felt that way when she first observed them, but then she figured it out.

Starlight Glimmer, that mare had given her strange feelings when they first met. She enjoyed taunting the mare back at her hive, watching her squirm about and try to break her throne. How she challenged Chrysalis, it erupted a fire in her heart. She found the persistence of this unicorn… attractive.

It wasn’t just the persistence that drew Chrysalis to the unicorn, it was her innocence. When Changelings fed love, they adored feeding off of the love of those who are bright and cheerful. For all of the knowledge she had about Starlight’s past, she was still full of light and it only made Chrysalis want her more. The dark past she had also showed that Starlight could be devious if she so wished. Starlight was practically the entire package, and this was a lot considering the fact she was a pony.

She couldn’t dare let her wants allow her to accept friendship however. Starlight would not have Chrysalis that way, Chrysalis would get Starlight Glimmer by her own terms, with her on top and Starlight being her property, as it should be.

So imagine her rage and fury when she saw that Starlight had ended up falling for that alicorn Twilight Sparkle. She spied on them at times, most of the times they were being sappy or affectionate towards one another. One time she even almost caught them making love through a window, but she quickly left before she could watch her Starlight make love to such filth. Yes, Starlight may not have known it, but one way or another, she WOULD be Chrysalis’.

She found that The Princess Of Friendship was forcing Starlight to deny her true nature to stay in her good graces. Starlight would not be able to achieve her true potential being shackled down by her lover. Should Chrysalis get ahold of Starlight, she would be allowed to let her devious nature roam free, allowed to take control of all that she pleased.

Chrysalis remembered how Twilight whispered to Starlight, some sweet nothing she imagined but it was enough to make Starlight blush and giggle. How repulsive. Twilight did not deserve HER blush, nor did she deserve her laugh.

Chrysalis wanted to destroy Twilight, blast her to dust, and grab Starlight who Chrysalis is convinced is practically her version of angel and claim her as her own.

Before Chrysalis’ anger could cloud her mind anymore, she remembered her surroundings. The prison cell. Her current security guard was Discord, perhaps a way to make his powers useful. No matter, one day she would get out of here but she could have a little fun before doing so.

“How does it feel to be an errand boy for those ponies?” Chrysalis asked with a smirk causing Discord to glare at the Changeling.

“That’s not going to work on me Chrissy. I’m just helping my friends.” Discord said sternly.

“Ah yes. The friends who get annoyed when you just act by your very nature. Such an improvement from taking control of this feeble world.” Chrysalis scoffed with a sarcastic grin.

“They have the right to get annoyed with me at times. I can be a bit much.” Discord glared harder at the former queen.

“Ah but of course, you realize this whole security guard thing isn’t going to help you make any progress with Fluttershy.” Chrysalis kept her composure as she mocked the Draconequus.

“At least Fluttershy appreciates me. What is your definition of ‘progress’ anyway?” Discord asked incredulously.

“Taking charge. For example, when I get out of here. I will find Starlight Glimmer and claim her as my own. She may deny it at first, but she’ll realize the needs she can’t hold back that are being ignored by Twilight.” Chrysalis smirked menacingly as she licked her lips at the thought of ripping her treasure from that pathetic pony princess.

Discord only gives a scowl in response, “Starlight would never want you, Twilight happens to make her very happy.”

“Only because she is the first pony to ever give her any positive amount of attention. If she were with me, she would know what true companionship is.” Chrysalis barked back furiously.

“I wouldn’t say true companionship means trying to control your partner.” Discord snarked.

“Twilight tries to control Starlight herself does she not? Forcing Starlight to keep her deviousness and wit under wraps. Quite the tragedy. Can’t even have a little fun without disappointing her so-called lover.” Chrysalis argued back.

“It’s called bringing out the best in somepony. Not like you could ever do the same.” Discord narrowed his eyes.

“Starlight not allowing her cleverness to show on full display causes her to get walked all over. Perhaps she’s been caged far too long, maybe it’s time she experiences true freedom, don’t you think?” Chrysalis asked pointedly.

“You are not taking her.” Discord said in a protective manner that made Chrysalis smirk.

“What? Scared that I’m right and that I’ll win her over?” Chrysalis mocks.

“Ha, not even a little.” Discord smirks, “Because Starlight’s too loyal to Twilight and they have a tightly knit bond. Twilight is way too persistent to keep Starlight protected and loved. You cannot break them up.”

“Well I’m very persistent myself.” Chrysalis’ glare hardens.

“Good luck with that,” Discord snarks before turning away and using his talons to create earplugs so he no longer had to listen to Chrysalis’ rants.

Chrysalis did not care however, because somehow, some day she would get out of here and she would have Starlight Glimmer for herself. She was a determined woman, and while Starlight may not know it yet, the simple truth is that she WILL be her’s.
