Taking back the events of the last chapter.


As the figure showed himself, everyone was in complete shock, even the kids were like that. Twilight then got a click in her memory. She remembered that this specific cat was exactly like the one shown on the cover of the book.

"Look!" Sally said.

"A cat," Sam said

"In a hat!" Sally added back.

"You will note, I am neat. Wiped my feet on the mat." The cat said before running towards a roller blade and riding it. The mat then flew up towards the fish and almost hit him, but Twilight was quick and caught it in her magic. The fish looked to see who it was and was about to say something before the cat came back and pushed a vase that almost fell over back to its original position. He slowed down by using his umbrella to lower the speed, closed it, and kicked the skateboard away. He then looked at the kids and got a surprised look on his face.

"Why must you- why do you sit there like that? I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, I know it is damp and the sidewalks are runny. But what I can't see," The cat said. The fish then decided to interject.

"Now you listen here cat," The fish said before the cat interrupted him.

"Is why you'd sit there like that. I know some good games we can play." The cat said.

"Listen cat."

"I know some great tricks."

Listen Cat in The Hat!"

"I know that your mother won't mind if I do, and I'm simply itching, to show them to you, and to you." The cat said pointing at the kids. The fish then got out of his bowl and flopped towards the cat.

"Out of this house. I'm warning you, get-" The fish said.

"Who's that? I believe that we haven't yet met." The cat said looking at the fish.

"The name is Crinklebein. Carlos K. Crinklebein." The fish said introducing himself to the cat. The cat replied with an 'oh' before the fish spoke again.

"Now please go away. Tell that top-hatted cat he should not be about. He should not be here while your mother is out." The fish said. Twilight then decided now would be a good time to say something.

"Uhh *ahem*. Hello there kids and cat.. and fish." Twilight said. Everyone then turned their attention towards the pony.

"Well, as I live and breathe a pony! I thought everyone said ponies are a phony." The cat said.

"No Mr. Cat, I assure you I am real." Twilight said.

"Well, I believe we haven't yet met either." The cat said.

"Well then allow me to introduce myself. My name is Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship! I know your name is Crinklebein, and you name is Cat in The Hat," Twilight said pointing to the fish and the cat. 

"But who are you two?" Twilight said pointing towards the kids.

"My name is Sam, and this is Sally my sister." Sam said introducing himself and his sister.

"Once again, that cat should not be here when their mother is out!" Crinklebein said to the kids. He then flopped back to his fish bowl.

"My dear Mr. Crinklebein, my tricks are quite safe. I invite you to join in the fun if you wish." The cat said while the fish blew bubbles, which the cat then picked up and stacked without fail. Twilight saw this and almost fainted.

"A game that I call.. Up-Up-Up with a fish!" The cat said letting go of the bubbles. The fish was then balancing on bubbles which everyone noticed and were shocked by what was happening. The kids were shocked because they were afraid their fish would fall and die, and Twilight was shocked because this was beyond physics breaking.

"PUT ME DOWN! PUT ME DOWN YOU FOOL CAT!!!!" Crinklebein said. The cat then held up his hand and then put it back down before popping the bubbles that were balancing the fish. The fish was preying for his life but stopped to find that the cat was letting him down. He popped all the bubbles and the fish landed with a thud.

"OUTRAGEOUS!! Now let me repeat and I don't like to shout, BUT HE SHOULD NOT BE HERE WHILE YOUR MOTHER IS OUT!!!!!" Crinklebein shouted.

"It's up to you kids, whatever you say. If you think me untrustworthy, send me away." The cat said with a sad look. The kids then thought for a moment.

"Well, he is getting the house sort of messy and dirty, and mother." Sally said.

"Yeah mother, back home at 3:30." Sam added. The cat sighed.

"A vote of no confidence." The cat said walking away lumping down.

"I most humbly bow to the voice of the maturity. Goodbye now, off to Siberia." The cat said walking out and closing the door. Twilight then looked and got a sad feeling in her heart. He didn't deserve that.
