Twilight and her friends all solved the case of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and are now finding out what to do. It had been a week since they solved the case and there were no new events happening in Equestria. So, what to do?
"Well, I don't know about y'all, but I'm bored." Applejack said bluntly.
"Yeah, after we kicked Judge Doom (or should I say "dipped") Judge Doom, I felt like I had the most fun out of any pony." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight then heard a door open to see Spike coming in with something in his hand. It appeared to be a book, which of course, Twilight took right away.
"Thank you, Spike! I've been looking for something new to read for a while now!" Twilight said excitedly. She then looked at the cover to reveal the title "The Cat in The Hat". Everyone stared at each other in confusion.
"The Cat in The Hat? What kind of book is that?" Pinkie said confused.
“I think it’s the name of the cat on the cover. Look, he’s wearing a hat on his head. So he’s The Cat in The Hat!. Twilight said. She then opens the book to read a page or 2.
The Sun did not shine, it was too wet to play, so we sat in the house all that cold cold wet day.
“Yeah no kidding. I would be bored out of my mind too if it was raining and I had nothing to do.” Said Rainbow Dash. Twilight kept reading.
I sat there with Sally, we sat there, we two. And I said “How I wish we had something to do.
“So Sally is the name of the boy that’s right there right?” Rarity said pointing to the two figures in the picture. Twilight took a closer look and thought for a moment.
“I think Sally is the name of the girl, not the boy.” Said Twilight.
“Then what do y’all reckon that youngins’ name is called?” Applejack said.
“I have no idea. I guess we’ll keep reading and find out.” Twilight’s said. She kept reading the page before moving on to the next.
Too wet to go out and too cold to play ball, so we sat in the house, we did nothing at all.
“Wow, that sounds absolutely dreadful. Imagine not having anything fun to do while you’re at home.” Fluttershy said. Twilight turned the page and read the text out loud.
So all we could do was sit, sit, sit, sit, and we did not like it. Not one little bit.
“Wow, imagine not being able to do anything fun, it could make you go insane.” Spike said.
And then, something went BUMP! How that bump made us jump.
“Well, that got them to stop moping in front of the window.” Rainbow Dash said. Twilight then turned the page only to be met with a DVD of The Cat in The Hat.
“Wait, what? There aren’t anymore pages?” Twilight said.
“Guess not.” Spike said. She took a look at the DVD and realized she noticed a slot in the TV that was small and could fit something inside. She raced over to the TV while her friends followed suit. She then put the DVD into the TV and it turned on. The vortex opened up again, but this time, something held the others back while it only sucked Twilight in.
“TWILIGHT!!!” They all shouted in unison. Twilight was screaming through the vortex before being spat out on the other side.
