*Twilight's POV*
Since the speedsters were out of town, the other alicorns and I were heading up to the Crystal Empire.
The younger alicorns of the Alliance were chatting among themselves.
Applejack spoke "Hoowee! This is gonna be a fun event to watch!"
Rarity spoke "Too bad we alicorns can't take part."
Pinkie spoke "Yeah…"
To Rarity's surprise, Blizzardstar was among the participants while wearing a sarashi around the chest under a shirt along with a chest guard. Shi also wore archery gloves on both hands and hir hair was pulled into a lowride ponytail. Athletic tape was also around the forelegs as well.
Blizzardstar waves at Rarity.
Rarity blushed at that.
I giggle "What's the matter Rarity?"
Rarity stammers "*With her wings flared out while still blushing* N-Nothing! Nothing at all!"
Cadence giggles "Your wings say otherwise~!"
Rarity stammers "I-I have no idea what you’re talking about!"
Cadence giggles "I suppose it has something to do with how Blizzardstar is dressed."
Applejack spoke "Heh, maybe that shot Rarity through her heart."
To Applejack's surprise, Crosswind also wore an outfit identical to the one that Blizzardstar was wearing.
Celestia titters "You're one to talk Applejack, ya might want to look at your lifemate."
AJ was definitely in the same situation as Rarity’s.
Pinkie spoke "Huh, I wonder if AJ and Rarity want their lifemates to bullseye their targets."
Luna giggles as she cuffs Pinkie on the back of the head.
Cadence spoke "Leave the love jokes to me, Pinkie."
Twilight spoke "I agree."
Hiromi giggles "Don't look now but there's a cream and orange furred Crystal Abyssinian tom with green eyes among the participants."
Cadence asks "Hmm?"
Haru had fainted.
Apollo chuckles "Should have seen that one coming."
Cadence giggles "Heehee! Better let Vera know."
Haru growls "NO!!!! Muta and Toto won't let me hear the end of it if they found out!"
The crystal Abyssinian asks "Found out about what?"
Haru runs off somewhere.
Apollo chuckles "Real smooth Humbert, you spooked Haru good."
I spoke "Someone should go check on Haru..."
Yuki spoke "I will since she's my sister."
The white she-cat got up to go check on Haru.
Yuki asks "You okay sis?"
Haru was a blushing stammering mess.
Yuki slaps Haru across the back of the head.
Yuki spoke "StarClan's sake Haru, wake up and smell the catmint coffee."
Haru asks "H-Huh?"
Yuki asks "You like Humbert right?"
Haru stammers "*Blushing madly* W-What makes you say that?!"
Yuki spoke "I'm your sister for StarClan's sake. Plus Hiromi told me."
Haru blushed in major embarrassment at that.
Yuki giggles "I knew it."
Haru stammers "I d-don't know wh-what to d-do..."
Yuki spoke "Calm down, sis."
Haru spoke "You were the same way with Lune though."
Now Yuki was a stammering embarrassment mess.
Haru spoke "Besides, Humbert's older than me by a thousand years."
Yuki teases "It’s because he was in stasis, but does that matter?"
Haru spoke "Shut up sis!"
The two sisters share a laugh.
Yuki spoke "That was just too much and..."
Haru spoke "I’m scared."
Yuki spoke "Have you forgotten? You're immortal."
Haru spoke "But…"
Yuki spoke "Don't go there sis."
Haru asks "Why?"
Yuki spoke "Never mind, I think the Crystal Abyssinian's up next in the archery competition."
Haru asks "Really?"
Yuki drags Haru back to where the other alicorns were.
Yuki spoke "Yes, really."
Lune asks "You alright, Kara?"
Kara giggles.
Lune spoke "I'll take that as a yes."
Yuki spoke "Hey Lune honey."
Lune chuckles "Hehe, hey Yuki kitty."
Yuki giggles "*happy purring* Oh, I love it when you call me that."
Cadence spoke "You two are so adorable together."
Yuki spoke "I should say the same about you and Shining Armor, Cadence."
I spoke "Any female would say the same about her husband... Wife in Cocoa's case."
Mystic sighs.
I ask "Something wrong?"
Mystic spoke "I miss being a normal unicorn... and I know Trixie feels the same way."
I spoke Oh… Right."
Mystic spoke "Plus you have two wishes left."
I spoke "Yeah…"
Mystic spoke "Maybe you could use your last wish to set me and Trixie free."
I spoke "I know."
Flash spoke "It's too bad we can't wish to have Moon Flower and Raven Song back... Genies can't bring the dead back."
Mystic spoke "*Wince!* Yeah."
A mare asks "Excuse me, but what are you talking about?"
Squigly and Leviathan showed up.
I spoke "Oh hey Squig."
Squigly spoke "Hello Twilight."
Leviathan spoke "A pleasure to meet you again."
I spoke "Likewise."
Squigly spoke "There may be a way, but it’s incredibly risky. I don’t think it’s a good idea myself."
Leviathan spoke "Neither do I. The Skull Heart may be gone, but it will return."
I spoke "Moon and Raven's bodies were incinerated though, they can't be brought back. But I know they're watching over me from StarClan."
Leviathan spoke "We’ve faced off against spirits under a Skullgirl’s control before."
Celestia spoke "But it's forbidden to bring someone back once their body has been incinerated. Spottedleaf was a rare case because she didn't want to disappear for good."
Squigly spoke "Spirits aren’t given a choice when brought under the Skull Heart’s control. But thanks to Leviathan binding himself with me, I was able to resist the Skull Heart’s influence, even as an undead."
Spottedleaf spoke "Even some cat like Mapleshade can't fight back against the Skull Heart's influence since she's a spirit."
Leviathan spoke "Exactly, which is rather unfortunate."
Spottedleaf spoke "I'd hate to see what might have happened if I hadn't reincarnated."
Squigly spoke "Don’t worry about that. You’re here now."
Spottedleaf spoke "If it wasn't for Twilight, I wouldn't be here now."
I spoke "Exactly Spots."
Applejack smiled before looking a bit down.
Crosswind asks "You okay Jay-Jay?"
Justice sighs.
Applejack spoke "Ah just dunno what to do."
Crosswind asks "Alicorn problem?"
A loud roar was heard from Foxsong, alerting Shining Armor of a magic stealing creature approaching.
Shining spoke "Not good."
Crosswind spoke "And with at least sixty alicorns all in one area, the Crystal Empire is a freaking beacon for magic stealing creatures like Tirek!"
“I hope Rainbow Dash can make it.” I said.
Rarity spoke "If she can't get back in time... We need some stallion that's just as loyal!"
Justice spoke "Evacuating the empire is a no-go though!"
“What should we do?” I asked.
Justice spoke "Call in help from the OC-verse, what else?"
Applejack's horn flares up, causing Loot Loot and his allies to suddenly appear.
Loot Loot asks "What the?!"
Fin asks "What’s going on?!"
Justice spoke "In a nutshell, alicorn magic."
Goldcrown and Blade weren’t here though.
Justice explains to Loot Loot and the other skeletons about what was going on.
Loot Loot spoke "Seems a little wonky."
But then eight skeletal dragons appeared.
Lootant spoke "Wow, looks like you brought Toxic Twin and the other seven dragons here too."
Foxsong spoke "Now isn't the time boneheads, we got MAJOR trouble!"
Gold Spell asks "What is it?"
Foxsong spoke "Someone is after alicorn magic!"
Spottedleaf and the other Abyssinians and chakats were growling.
Featherwhisker immediately patches through to Rainbow Dash.
Featherwhisker spoke "Rainbow! There's MAJOR TROUBLE AT THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AND THE SPEEDY ALICORNS REMAIN IN INEIGHBA UNTIL WE CAN STOP WHOEVER IS AFTER ALICORN MAGIC!!"
Rainbow spoke "Fine by me, ‘cause me and the others are gonna search for Tenshi and Shokubutsu in the mirror world first thing tomorrow."
Featherwhisker spoke "I have a gut feeling that the two events are somehow connected."
Sunset spoke "I know of a parallel world that's filled with humans, I can check there."
Putting a collar that has a nametag with Princess Twilight's info on it around her neck, Spottedleaf spoke "I'll go have a look too."
The two immortals head off with Cadence to where the mirror was.
Cadence spoke "It'll be in your paws and hooves to find that Tenshi filly and bring her back."
I spoke "I don’t know, this mirror seems different, and the midnight mirror isn’t known here."
Obsidian spoke "Regardless, it becomes an Alliance-wide problem when a kid goes missing."
I spoke "Okay, but I haven’t had the chance to test out my persona."
Spottedleaf spoke "Given that Sunset's too close to giving birth, I'll have to check the Twoleg world myself."
I spoke "Oh."
Spottedleaf passed through the portal, coming out on the other side as a normal cat yet she could still talk.
Spottedleaf thinks "{Okay, since my flight and magic are locked... I can't do much here until I return to Equestria.}"
Spottedleaf was soon picked up by a human version of Fluttershy.
Spottedleaf was squirming about in the female's arms.
Spottedleaf meows "Put me down!"
The female gasped in surprise as Spottedleaf landed on her paws without issue.
Thanks to the collar and tag that was on Spottedleaf's neck, the human female knew that the dark tortoiseshell had an owner.
Grooming her chest fur, Spottedleaf meows "Sorry about that, it was an old fear of mine. But I need help. A child I know has gone missing."
EG Fluttershy gasps "Oh dear!"
Spottedleaf meows "Some of my friends are looking for her right now but I have one main concern... The midnight mirror..."
Fluttershy asks "*Genuinely confused* Hmm?"
Spottedleaf sighs before explaining to the female Twoleg.
Spottedleaf meows "Two of my fellow healers are keeping an eye on the girl's father since he was in bad shape when they found him. But I fear Tenshi may be in great danger."
EG Fluttershy was still confused, so Spottedleaf decided to explain what the Midnight Mirror was, making the Twoleg gasp. “Y-You don’t mean the Midnight Channel in Inaba, Japan, do you?!”
Ears flatten, Spottedleaf meows "Very much so but mirrors are the closest thing that Danyelle's cousin, Emerald Aura, knows of."
EG Fluttershy spoke "Danyelle? Last she called, she said she had a cousin known as Chie Satonaka."
Spottedleaf asks "Chie?"
EG Fluttershy asks "Is something wrong?"
Spottedleaf meows "The name doesn't sound familiar though."
A loud crack of thunder was heard, causing Spottedleaf's fur to fluff up.
EG Fluttershy spoke "Maybe we should see Twilight."
Spottedleaf meows "Can't be my Twilight though, her scent is different."
Spottedleaf follows the Twoleg female despite the red flag warning in her mind that the storm was not normal.
Soon enough, Spottedleaf encountered the twolegged versions of the Mane 6 as Twilight were working on some kind of watches.
Spottedleaf thinks "{I should pretend to be a dumb cat around the others since only the light pink haired one understands me.}"
Spottedleaf jumps onto the table.
Spottedleaf meows.
EG Twilight spoke "Just about finished..."
EG Fluttershy asks "Is there one for a cat though?"
But then a dog was heard growling as Spottedleaf saw a dog that looked like Spike.
Spottedleaf hisses at dog Spike, making him cower in fear.
EG Twilight asks "What the?! What's going on here?!"
Spottedleaf meows.
EG Fluttershy spoke "The dark tortie said that Spike tried to attack her so she hissed at him to make him stop."
Spottedleaf paws at one of the bracelets.
Twilight spoke "Oh this? Well, let’s just say with these, we’ll be able to see Danyelle in Inaba in a flash."
Spottedleaf thinks "{These have something similar to teleportation magic!}"
Spottedleaf picks one of the seven bracelets up with her forepaws and slides it over her head, setting it on her neck.
EG Rarity spoke "No offense Twilight but that is one smart cat."
EG Twilight and Spike definitely seemed jealous at that.
Spottedleaf sticks her tongue out at the two.
Spottedleaf meows.
EG Fluttershy spoke "She asked when we're heading to Inaba."
EG Twilight spoke "Well, hopefully today if they work."
Spottedleaf's claws were glowing with magic as she teleported with the six females and the dog straight to EG Danyelle's location.
EG Applejack spoke "Whoa nelly!"
Spottedleaf meows "Well, the cat's out of the proverbial bag now... I'm not like any common cat you'd see..."
